Episode Transcript
[00:00:07] Speaker A: In the beginning, the earth was a dark, formless void.
But then God spoke and said, let there be wrestling.
And with that, there was Monday, and wrestling happened on Mondays. And God looked upon her works and said, holy shit, that's a lot of racism in video packages.
On the second day, God got depressed and lo, did she post about it on the DVD VR forums. And with that, there was Tuesday.
On the third day, God said, let there be Wednesday. And lo, did the people reply unto her.
We know what that means.
[00:00:56] Speaker B: And we are back for another week of Wednesday night fake fights where we talk all things aew.
We are in Scotland this week for the kickoff show for Forbidden Door. Or not. Kickoff show. Go home. Dynamite, I guess, is the term.
As always, I am one of your hosts, Jeff the Toking Mongoose. And with me are my wonderful co hosts.
[00:01:18] Speaker C: It is I, the Therian Suplex Machine.
[00:01:22] Speaker B: Bip.
[00:01:23] Speaker C: With two P's to avoid the copyright.
[00:01:27] Speaker A: What copyright?
[00:01:28] Speaker C: Look, let me run the bit. All right?
[00:01:32] Speaker A: Okay. All right.
[00:01:34] Speaker C: And you?
[00:01:37] Speaker A: I'm Erica Warren. I'm here every week.
I'm still. Lovely Erica. I. I have a. I have a wonderful stein from my trip to the Renaissance Fair this weekend.
[00:01:49] Speaker B: That's a dope mug I got. Stein is. Yeah. That's sweet.
I saw the knife you got, too. That was sick.
[00:01:56] Speaker A: Oh, that knife is sick.
Immediately. Yeah, it punched right through the sheet.
[00:02:02] Speaker B: That's craftsmanship.
[00:02:06] Speaker A: The woman at the fair was like, I want to give you a good sheath, but all I have is.
[00:02:11] Speaker C: You learned that the hard way.
[00:02:13] Speaker B: They're such fun, like environments. I mean, it's just such a cool variety of people.
[00:02:17] Speaker A: It's like, there is more gay people there than at Pride, I'm pretty sure.
[00:02:22] Speaker C: Really?
[00:02:22] Speaker B: That sounds about right, actually.
[00:02:24] Speaker C: That's impressive.
[00:02:25] Speaker B: Everyone I know who's like a regular person is, like, somehow not straight at all.
That's the root.
[00:02:35] Speaker C: So I should probably.
[00:02:36] Speaker B: Yeah, I was gonna say. I don't even know if I've really been. Maybe when I was a kid. I just. I know a lot of people who love cosplay and all that. That it's a very regular thing for them.
I know I've been when I was younger, but I knew a magician who used to.
[00:02:49] Speaker A: I haven't been in years, so it was a good experience.
[00:02:53] Speaker B: Nice.
[00:02:53] Speaker C: Good.
[00:02:53] Speaker A: And then we got to watch Lichen Colony at the Airbnb. You ever seen Lichen?
[00:02:59] Speaker C: No.
[00:03:00] Speaker B: I'm familiar. No.
[00:03:01] Speaker A: Holy. We need to do a movie night.
[00:03:05] Speaker C: Maybe. Maybe after this weekend, because we've got quite the.
Quite the weekend. Coming up as we will go over here for the August 20th episode.
[00:03:20] Speaker B: I guess. Is Scotland English?
[00:03:23] Speaker A: It's okay.
[00:03:27] Speaker B: In the Great Britain segment, I think a Scottish person.
If you said, yeah, that's probably true. Sadly, I am Scottish too. That's not good at all.
[00:03:36] Speaker C: Check the metrics. Figure out who are probably one Scottish listener is. And we're gonna send them your way.
[00:03:45] Speaker B: Matthew's gonna unfollow all of us.
[00:03:48] Speaker C: But yeah, AEW is in Glasgow, Scotland this week, but opens up with the American dragon in Glasgow. Brian Danielson, who is filling in for Taz.
[00:04:02] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:04:03] Speaker C: On commentary as your color commentator.
[00:04:06] Speaker B: Yeah, I think Taz is out hurt or he's recovering. He's got all his health stuff and just couldn't make the trip from what I understood, you know.
[00:04:16] Speaker A: Yeah, I think it was. They were worried about how his knees hold up on the flight.
[00:04:21] Speaker B: Yeah. So as he said, he's had every joint in his body replaced.
I do. Like, Danielson is wearing a sloth Wolverine shirt from Target.
[00:04:35] Speaker C: Like, they just.
[00:04:39] Speaker B: He truly is the most relatable wrestler.
[00:04:41] Speaker C: Said, hey, do you want to fill in for Taz? And he went, sure. And he just got on the plane with what he was wearing at home and showed up.
[00:04:48] Speaker A: Right.
[00:04:48] Speaker B: They probably. They probably were like, wear something nice. And he's like, okay, I just bought.
[00:04:56] Speaker A: That Danielson dresses the way I did pre transition.
[00:04:58] Speaker C: So I. Yeah, my pre transition beard was complimented by a one Brian Danielson. So, you know.
[00:05:07] Speaker A: Oh, you know what? Oh, really?
[00:05:09] Speaker C: That's a feather. I don't have it anymore because of obvious reasons.
[00:05:12] Speaker B: Yeah, I can't grow one either way. I patch out.
[00:05:19] Speaker A: It doesn't matter.
[00:05:21] Speaker B: I get the. The neck beard.
It's horrible. I really. I gotta shave at least once a week or it looks bad.
[00:05:29] Speaker C: Jeff, I'm gonna ask you to never say those two words or that portmanteau of words again.
[00:05:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:05:38] Speaker B: You got a clear mental picture when I said it, though.
You knew at least one person that. That applied.
[00:05:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:05:47] Speaker C: But the show opens up with Mox and Osprey having a little bit of a face off.
Seems like it's a bit of a homecoming for Will here now that they're back over in the European area.
[00:06:01] Speaker B: Yeah, he gets a big.
[00:06:03] Speaker C: The uk.
[00:06:04] Speaker A: But he's not.
[00:06:05] Speaker B: No, he's not.
Not England. Not England, I swear to God.
[00:06:09] Speaker A: English.
[00:06:10] Speaker B: He's. He's. He's from Essex, which is somewhere over there.
[00:06:15] Speaker A: He's English.
[00:06:16] Speaker B: I think it's in like the north part of England, but.
[00:06:21] Speaker A: Red cross with the white field on his stuff. Sometimes he's English.
[00:06:26] Speaker B: We know he's not. Well, we know that for sure.
[00:06:31] Speaker A: Kind of cool.
[00:06:32] Speaker C: But he waxes poetic about his time wrestling in Glasgow and his experiences there. Talking about Greg's sausage roll, which leads to a sausage. It's. It's a UK thing.
[00:06:45] Speaker B: I. I see it mentioned on tv. I watch enough British tv. I see it talked about that. I do want to try it someday, but I feel like it's going to be.
[00:06:54] Speaker C: Listener comes to kick your ass, they can bring one along with them.
[00:07:01] Speaker A: I would go traveling.
[00:07:03] Speaker C: Yeah, that too right now.
[00:07:06] Speaker B: True.
[00:07:07] Speaker A: Scotland. Please, please become independent so I can visit without visiting.
[00:07:11] Speaker C: Yeah.
Osprey teases Danielson a bit, talking about how these sausage rolls aren't any of that vegan crap, which is cute.
[00:07:22] Speaker B: Danielson stood up from his chair.
[00:07:26] Speaker C: Major, major heat on the dirt sheets yesterday.
[00:07:31] Speaker A: Yeah, all the dirt sheets.
Brian Danielson.
[00:07:39] Speaker B: They did have a sausage roll chant breakout at one point too.
I mean, we'll say. But English, British, UK crowds are always fantastic. There is so much energy and they sing everything and they come up with crazy, inventive ch that football culture to.
[00:07:57] Speaker C: The world of pro wrestling is.
It's a good time as a spectator.
[00:08:01] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:08:03] Speaker C: We find out that Will Osprey was not medically cleared for forbidden door, but it's lights out and unsanctioned, so it's fine. And he's gonna wrestle.
[00:08:12] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:08:13] Speaker C: Okay.
What?
[00:08:15] Speaker A: Turn the lights out and now it's not legal anymore.
[00:08:21] Speaker B: I guess. At least it's a story beat to explain the stipulation and stuff.
[00:08:25] Speaker C: Yeah, I guess.
But he goes on to, you know, talk about how, you know, if he wants to be the standard for AEW and if there's a chance that he's not going to be able to be Will Ospreay after Sunday, you know, he's gonna leave it all in the ring and it's like, can wrestlers stop, like trying to die on a show and making it like.
[00:08:49] Speaker B: Make it like, storyline, like, if somebody's, if he's genuinely hurt and like, should not be doing this. I don't want him to do this.
Yeah.
[00:08:58] Speaker A: And like, I, I like Danielson on commentary being like, you know, I remember my first exit.
[00:09:03] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
[00:09:05] Speaker B: Yeah. It does you off. Yeah. But.
[00:09:07] Speaker A: But that.
[00:09:08] Speaker B: It reminds me of Daniel where, like, he would do those in like Daniel where I. Or oh, Jesus. Yeah. Brian Danielson is one of the best wrestlers in the world, but near the end of his career when he started doing those, like, realistic respots over and over, I'M like, this isn't. No, it's not that fun. Like, it was cool when he did it in the Brock match and, like, came back and you know, but then every time after that, that's the one.
[00:09:31] Speaker C: Time, like, where we don't need the suspension of disbelief. Like, we should be able to. To really know that. Like, okay, this is obviously a work, but, like, anymore they're like, blurring those lines way more to the point that it's like, concerning as a. Like.
[00:09:45] Speaker B: Yeah, like, usually I feel like I can tell because I remember when Hangman got genuinely concussed by Mox from that clothesline and they immediately cut the cameras away from him and did not show him again until, like, he was out of there. So usually if they're staying on it and like, not awkwardly cutting to the commentary, people being like, oh, kill some time. I'm like, it's probably a work, but still. Yeah, it does. It's old in my opinion.
[00:10:15] Speaker A: I mean, Danielson. Danielson was doing it in Ring of Honor. Like, he was. He was banged the up and then he went and had that fight without honor against Morishima and Morishima.
[00:10:30] Speaker B: Yeah. Is that when he got his eye?
[00:10:32] Speaker A: Yeah, like, and yeah, it was just like, hit me hard as possible.
[00:10:38] Speaker B: No, that's a great match.
[00:10:39] Speaker A: Yeah. Like, the blurring of it is.
I get why they do it, but fans are smart enough now that they, like, can like, injuries. Injuries. Injury news gets out every single time. And if it happens in a match, fans are like, immediately like, that guy's up.
They. Or like, they. They know to recognize, like, when the ref throws up the X.
So, like, the more.
The more it's.
[00:11:07] Speaker B: Yeah. The ones people knew what the X Men.
[00:11:10] Speaker A: I. I don't know. We're not here for.
[00:11:13] Speaker C: We're not here for like, actual injuries and blood.
We're just here for professional wrestling.
[00:11:19] Speaker B: Yeah. I want to watch fight. Yeah, Fight ballet. I want to see people better.
Well, a little bit.
[00:11:27] Speaker C: Osprey talks about how he is doing what he is doing for revenge against Mox. And I thought it was a.
A cheeky line about how before they'll take a scalpel to him, he's going to take a pound of flesh from Jon Moxley.
Mox did not like that line because that's when him and Marina have yet another badass entrance from the outside. Confusing onlookers.
Yeah.
[00:11:54] Speaker B: Get their steps in.
That is their cardio. It's just the entrance.
[00:12:02] Speaker C: They walk in.
[00:12:03] Speaker B: Exactly.
[00:12:04] Speaker C: Osprey disses the Death Riders and says that if Mox wants to take him out. That he better do it himself.
Mox, do not take too kindly for that. Motions for Yuta and Claudio to come in and take this guy out.
But.
[00:12:22] Speaker B: Like Osprey called him, called Claudio and Yuta slapped him in the geezer who needs a haircut.
[00:12:30] Speaker C: But before they can really take advantage of the numbers game, Jet Speed comes out, evens things up. And who else comes out? Tanahashi.
[00:12:41] Speaker B: Tanahashi.
Well, he travels to the ring.
[00:12:48] Speaker A: I'd give them for playing his entrance.
You gotta play his entrance.
It's the pop.
[00:12:54] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:12:54] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:12:55] Speaker B: It's the pop. Yeah. I mean this is this.
[00:12:59] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:13:01] Speaker B: Yeah. It's gonna be the last time he'll be in Scotland for sure. I mean that's. I don't know if he's been before, but it's definitely gonna be the last.
[00:13:07] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:13:08] Speaker B: Probably.
[00:13:08] Speaker C: This is the victory lap for him. So, like do it all. Get it all in.
No complaints here.
[00:13:15] Speaker B: Yeah.
And that's what. Yeah. You can't even complain about like the little shape thing, like the run to the ring because it's like this is.
[00:13:23] Speaker C: Yeah. And like he's go away to her. Like we're banked up and beat up. He's been doing this for a while.
[00:13:28] Speaker B: Like he's giving it his all. Yeah. Not even that because he's amazing.
[00:13:34] Speaker A: Like, as banged up as before.
[00:13:36] Speaker B: Yeah. For real. Like, it finished. It finished up like three days ago.
[00:13:40] Speaker A: Tournament. He's up.
[00:13:43] Speaker C: That's absurd.
[00:13:46] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:13:46] Speaker C: But he has another match here on Dynamite, which I thought was kind of cool that they came out, made the save and then the match just started.
[00:13:56] Speaker B: Yeah, I felt like that that flowed nicely once two legal people were in the ring. I think it was Bryce called for it like immediately.
It was a good.
[00:14:05] Speaker C: Tanahashi and Jet Speed versus the Death Riders, which is a ridiculous thing to say out loud.
And even more ridiculous is that it is 2025 and Hiroshi Tanahashi tagged in Speedball Mike Bailey on a television pro wrestling match.
[00:14:20] Speaker A: Ace tagged in the non Dashi.
[00:14:24] Speaker C: What a.
What a time to be alive.
[00:14:28] Speaker B: I'm wondering they might have.
I'm trying to think if Tahashi did like any of the undercard tags in the Best of Super Junior. That's the only time I could really think of them having met up. Yeah.
What?
Yeah, but I mean, it is a very fun team. Like they're all big pop guys.
[00:14:48] Speaker C: It's a solid.
[00:14:49] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:14:50] Speaker C: Solid opening match as.
As they go back and forth, Marina gets caught red handed messing with Kevin Knight and pulling him off the. Off the apron and ends up getting ejected as she is.
[00:15:05] Speaker B: Yeah, lots of. Lots of Bryce tonight.
[00:15:11] Speaker C: Yelling back over as she goes up the entrance ramp. Osprey comes out and just kind of picks her up and takes her backstage.
[00:15:21] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:15:22] Speaker A: Potatoes we're cheering for.
[00:15:25] Speaker B: We get the.
[00:15:26] Speaker A: Abducting a woman, huh?
[00:15:29] Speaker C: I. Yeah, it was. It was a little. A little uncomfortable and then even more uncomfortable a little later in the match. But yeah, yeah.
[00:15:44] Speaker A: Because you know, that's. That's what you do. But, like, it is also kind of weird that they've. They've kind of put Marini Marina up at this level, and then they're just like, by the way, let's do some.
[00:15:59] Speaker C: This man's gonna carry you out with her now.
[00:16:03] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, okay, fine. Whatever.
[00:16:08] Speaker C: I. I do think the dumping on Yuta was probably my lines of the night for this evening. We do not have a Taz of the week, obviously, because there is no Taz of this week.
[00:16:19] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:16:20] Speaker C: But.
[00:16:23] Speaker B: He'S digressing. Somewhere.
[00:16:24] Speaker C: Tony says how the fans really hate Wheeler Yuta. Excalibur is like, it's not just the fans. Tony's like, ah, yeah, you're right. We all do.
[00:16:32] Speaker A: And then I said my favorite part about this was they're like, brian, what do you feel about Wheeler Yuta after what he did to you? And he's just like, I'm not gonna comment on that. It's like, he's just completely. No selling shenanigans from the desk this week. He's like, no, no.
[00:16:49] Speaker B: He.
[00:16:50] Speaker C: He did say how Wheeler, like, always, is not doing it as good as Mox. John Moxley does.
[00:16:58] Speaker B: And I did. He talked about how all three of those guys were people he, like, came in with and were. Was really close to and the betrayal of it and stuff like that. I honestly. I thought Danielson was great on commentary, like, all night. I thought he was a load of fun.
Honestly, like, if they ever wanted to transition him to, like, a regular commentary role, if you wanted.
[00:17:17] Speaker C: It turns out the guy who knows and loves pro wrestling is a great commentator for pro wrestling. He does a great job of getting any. Any and everybody who wrestled tonight over, even if they, you know, heel or if they're a face, like, doing it in a way that's not taking a side for either of them is very. Just kind of like, yeah, this guy's an. But he's really good. Or like, this guy's really good.
[00:17:45] Speaker B: Yeah. Like, he'll come up a lot during the. The FTR versus Bandito and Brody match. He really like, he knows when to call it well and he. He's got insight that just really complements the matches.
[00:17:56] Speaker C: As we alluded to a minute or two ago. Osprey comes back a few minutes later after Benny healing Marina Shafir away.
This time with a body bag. No. Could he have put Marina Shafir in the body bag like they were trying.
[00:18:12] Speaker B: To sell that that's what's inside.
[00:18:16] Speaker C: But anybody who knows knows that's not Marina in there.
[00:18:25] Speaker B: Yeah, this was called it immediately, kind of. I mean it's fun. It's wrestle shenanigans and stuff. But I was. You could tell here.
[00:18:33] Speaker C: What was that, Aaron?
[00:18:34] Speaker A: I said it's a trap. I'm sorry.
[00:18:36] Speaker C: It was a trap.
[00:18:38] Speaker A: It's a trap. Too quiet.
[00:18:43] Speaker C: Gets a high fly flow for the win and that's when things start breaking down.
We find out.
[00:18:51] Speaker B: Yeah, I think even a little before that, isn't it?
They set it up and then the War Dogs come.
[00:18:59] Speaker A: Oh yes.
[00:19:01] Speaker C: In my notes that the.
[00:19:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:19:03] Speaker C: Bullet Club War Dogs come out and interrupt things.
Gabe Kid and Cowboy hat and muscle.
[00:19:12] Speaker B: Shirt and white shirt. Yep.
[00:19:16] Speaker C: I forgot to write their names.
[00:19:17] Speaker B: I know. I love all these guys. I love Clark Connors. I love drilling. Yeah, it was Clark Connors. It was driller Dan Maloney. And was there a fourth one with him?
[00:19:25] Speaker A: I did not know was in War Dogs actually.
[00:19:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Robbie Ax. Yep. Because Cowboy.
Yeah, yeah.
[00:19:31] Speaker A: He came over.
[00:19:31] Speaker B: He filled in after Bushi and Naito left New Japan. He came in to fill in Bushy spot for invested super Juniors and officially joined up with him. The Robbie X's, they're all. I haven't really great wrestlers, any of them.
[00:19:44] Speaker A: I saw Clark Connors in the dugout of Tokyo Dome. He was in a Russell dynasty and like he. Before the show he like came up to the barricade to like talk to somebody.
Is he. It's like, hey, how are you doing, Clark?
[00:20:03] Speaker B: I believe he's.
He's romantically involved with Tekla, if I'm not mistaken.
[00:20:08] Speaker A: That's.
[00:20:10] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But yeah. Nobody knows who these people are over there. It seemed like. I mean even damn Maloney is from England. I'm sure that some people recognized it, but didn't get much reaction.
Yeah, yeah. Game kids British. Damn alone is British.
Yeah.
[00:20:31] Speaker C: Not much of a reaction for them as. As they come out and interrupt. Osprey is up cheesing with this body bag of suspicious contents. Before the bucks come out. Hit him with the super kick.
Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick strong come out to.
[00:20:52] Speaker B: Yeah, this, this degenerates quick.
[00:20:54] Speaker C: They interrupt the pucks. You open up the bag. It's Darby Allen. He's jumping on people's backs.
[00:21:03] Speaker B: Who would have thought?
It's lucky he has the exact same build as Marina Shafir.
[00:21:11] Speaker A: She actually is bigger than him, I'm pretty sure.
[00:21:13] Speaker C: Probably.
[00:21:13] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:21:14] Speaker C: Yeah.
The Ops come out.
It's.
It's chaos.
[00:21:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:21:22] Speaker C: Really felt like this should have ended the show. Like this is a very like clusterfuck ending.
[00:21:29] Speaker B: It's. Yeah, it was more like a go. Home EC kept waiting for the copyright logo to come up on the bottom.
Even like what it builds to here.
[00:21:38] Speaker C: Darby Allen does. Darby Allen things jumps off a mezzanine onto Death Riders and everybody.
[00:21:46] Speaker A: Yeah, it looked like they failed to catch him adequately.
I was like, oh, a little bit.
[00:21:53] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:21:56] Speaker C: Well anyways.
[00:22:00] Speaker B: Yep, that was a bit of a cluster but I guess it builds to the gauge match.
[00:22:06] Speaker A: Oh, they've been.
[00:22:07] Speaker B: I don't know why the Ops are there.
[00:22:08] Speaker A: That's right.
[00:22:11] Speaker B: Oh yeah, they were. They did the like trios titles match.
[00:22:14] Speaker A: Probably gonna wrestle War Dogs at Forbidden do.
[00:22:21] Speaker C: Oh, like a zero.
[00:22:21] Speaker B: Yeah. Maybe that's like a zero hour show or something.
[00:22:25] Speaker C: Well that would see.
[00:22:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Get some new Japan people on it.
[00:22:30] Speaker C: After that we get a recap video between the feud of Hangman and MJF over the last couple weeks and how they got to the point where the contract was tricked and or MJF was tricked into using his contract and took. Duped by Hangman or so we think.
[00:22:52] Speaker B: Saying. Yeah, saying he was going to use this guy.
[00:22:56] Speaker C: Come back. Tony is in the ring and is hosting overseeing a interview slash meeting between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage Edge come.
[00:23:11] Speaker B: I'm glad it's Adam Copeland again and not just Cope anymore.
It feels. Yeah, it just like Cope is a good nickname. You can still say Cope here and there but not forcing it into every like iteration of it and okay, am I crazy. Sorry, digress here, but at the start of Metal English Metalingus this week, it said you think you know him. Does it always say that? It always said that.
[00:23:36] Speaker A: I. I always thought it was.
[00:23:37] Speaker B: You think you know me.
[00:23:39] Speaker C: It definitely sounded different the last couple weeks. I don't know if. Because like that voice line isn't technically part of the song. So like there's a weird other like copyright thing or they've always had it different so that it's like.
[00:23:54] Speaker B: Yeah, I didn't know if it was like since he's been in aew, since he's like come back I don't. I easily could have just, like, missed it. Not paying attention, but for some reason.
[00:24:04] Speaker C: But again, they're still setting them up for singing the theme, which. Good Lord, please stop.
[00:24:12] Speaker A: Hold up, hold up.
[00:24:14] Speaker B: They did a better job this week than last week.
[00:24:16] Speaker A: Every city that's not American has actually pulled it off. And I blame it on. I. I attribute it to the fact that, like, every other country does, like, actual music programs in school. So everybody knows sing. Everybody's done. Chorus. They can.
It's not hard.
[00:24:36] Speaker B: And I think it's like Piper was saying earlier, too, where, like, in soccer, chances they sing a lot like, that is hooligans.
[00:24:44] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:24:45] Speaker B: Yeah. They kick it out.
[00:24:48] Speaker A: I don't know what they do.
I'm gonna get beat up.
[00:24:53] Speaker B: But this was. Yeah.
At least this week, it seemed like they knew the words. There was like, yeah, it's fine.
I. Yeah.
Much better than Ohio.
[00:25:07] Speaker C: I still think it was awkward, just the. The timing of things because Copeland's just kind of like. He's done his points to the crowd and gotten up on the turnbuckles, and then he still has to meander for, like, 15 seconds before they fade the music out so everybody can cheer.
[00:25:21] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:25:22] Speaker A: Still don't really need to do it, but I get it.
[00:25:25] Speaker C: No.
[00:25:28] Speaker B: Yeah. We were talking about the diminishing returns with it before, and it's definitely.
It is risking getting. Like, I said this. I was okay with it here because they actually did a good job. But it can go away now.
[00:25:41] Speaker C: Christian comes out. They.
They have a little talk.
Crowd is uproarious at seeing the two of these gentlemen in the ring again. Christian does his usual stick of silencing the crowd before Copeland's like, hey, what are you doing?
[00:25:59] Speaker B: Like, come on, buddy.
[00:26:01] Speaker A: Where they want to see. Yeah.
[00:26:03] Speaker B: Why you be a dick, bro?
[00:26:05] Speaker C: Exactly. Like, we're one of the best. Credit one of the greatest tag teams of all time.
Why are you still.
Why are you like this?
And.
[00:26:17] Speaker B: These two really. Do they play as much as, like, this story and Edge's Store? Yeah. Hope whatever has had its ups and downs. These guys have chemistry together, and I find them very fun to watch in the ring matter.
[00:26:29] Speaker A: I enjoyed this segment so much. Like, I was. I was a huge edging Christian fan girl back in the day. Like, I would. They were my. Like, even when they turned heel after win the titles, I was like, yes. These guys were awesome.
Yes.
[00:26:44] Speaker B: Shirts and stupid sunglasses.
[00:26:46] Speaker A: Hardest to win. I wanted them to win every match. It was like I was pissed when Too cool beat them for the titles. At one point or another. I love them beating the out of the rock.
Yeah, it was.
[00:26:57] Speaker B: I thought yes. The Edge and Christian awesome show was fantastic. I used to watch that on the network. That was hilarious.
Yeah, they're genuinely funny guys who like, you can tell, love working.
[00:27:08] Speaker A: It was the old man Yowie segment of the night. It was awesome.
[00:27:12] Speaker C: They should have put it on the board. Eric is old man.
[00:27:22] Speaker B: I'm sure this is the greatest prize.
[00:27:24] Speaker C: No, I, I agree.
[00:27:27] Speaker B: We're gonna send him a plaque. Well, it was the only with that.
[00:27:30] Speaker C: But also I agree it was like a really. A really well done segment and, and kind of put together because I think we were all kind of like, what are they doing with this over the last couple episodes? And now like it makes a little bit more sense.
Know Christian found himself and has found out that he is perfect and doesn't need to change anything about himself.
[00:27:54] Speaker A: Yes. Yes.
[00:27:57] Speaker B: I love that line. I thought that was so good.
[00:27:58] Speaker C: And just like, pardon me, Copeland is. I'm still getting used to that.
[00:28:04] Speaker B: I yeah, no, I, I look, I.
[00:28:07] Speaker C: Have known this guy a long time and he is an.
And sometimes, sometimes you need an asshole.
[00:28:19] Speaker A: My is what he said, which I object to. No way.
Yeah.
[00:28:30] Speaker C: We get a He's my chant. Which was really funny and that was coming. Yeah, no, yeah. No, I, I stand by what I said.
They kind of realized they aren't on the same page, but as they said, they're writing in the same book now.
[00:28:54] Speaker B: Yeah, I thought that was a good line. Christian had a lot of good little lines here. I really thought, like, he had that kind of weak promo a week or two a couple weeks ago where he was fumbling a lot and this felt like a good return to form here. Like I said, him and him and Cope seem to like, energize each other.
[00:29:08] Speaker C: It's not a happy reunion, but a reunion of necessity. It's another line that Christian says they've.
[00:29:18] Speaker B: Which, yeah, I like this too. It's a good storyline, you know, kind.
[00:29:21] Speaker C: Of coming together, helping each other tit for tat, you know, kind of vis a vis Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian and ftr.
They've kind of been the problem solvers for each other, which is cool too.
[00:29:33] Speaker B: Because this sets up a further match for them as a pair after the Forbidden Door match on Sunday, you know, when they we got FTR versus Christian Engage or. Yeah, Christian and Coke is a pretty good match to look forward to.
[00:29:48] Speaker C: And Christian says that this version of himself will be the best tag team partner that Copeland has ever had.
And he puts his hand out and they shake on us.
[00:29:59] Speaker B: They can't shake.
And everyone on tumblers.
[00:30:09] Speaker C: But of course, the aforementioned Kip and, well, Mama Wayne come out and Kip's such a pretty little Christian.
[00:30:21] Speaker B: Sorry.
[00:30:24] Speaker C: They call Christian pathetic. And they throw to Nick Wayne in a barn somewhere.
[00:30:31] Speaker B: I think it's the training facility that, like, Swerve and them attacked him at back in the day. Sor of an ar. It's his, like, dad's training facility, I think.
[00:30:40] Speaker C: Got it.
[00:30:40] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:30:42] Speaker C: He, you know, addresses last week, talks about how they didn't kill him with Spike like they intended to, but they did break his foot, meaning he is out for forbidden door this Sunday.
[00:30:56] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:30:56] Speaker C: But, you know, you might think. Is that a. You know, it's a blessing for them that Nick isn't there and they're not gonna have to wrestle. Or is it?
Because who do we see that they've rebuilt, made stronger?
It's Lucha. Excuse me. It's Kill Switch.
[00:31:15] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:31:16] Speaker B: Yeah, it's still Kill Switch. I know to me that that name never has stuck. Well, it feels forced.
[00:31:23] Speaker A: Trying to.
[00:31:24] Speaker B: I get you don't want something as goofy as Luchasaurus, but Kill Switch just sounds like a metal band because there is.
[00:31:31] Speaker A: I think that's just them showing that he's still a heel.
Like, he'll be source when he turns face. But, like, when he.
[00:31:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
I like the little vignette they did, though, with him coming up with the mascot and the doctor who looks surprisingly like Jack Perry.
[00:31:50] Speaker A: They put them on the gas. The juice, if you.
[00:31:53] Speaker B: Yeah, they did, you know, dinosaur juice.
[00:31:58] Speaker C: Kill Switch comes out, Chuck slams, leaves.
[00:32:02] Speaker B: He gets big react like the crowd loves them. They got.
Yeah. The luchasaurus chant going off.
[00:32:08] Speaker A: I want him to be luchasaurus again. Like, which.
[00:32:11] Speaker B: Yeah, as much as this is worse. Like I did. Like this segment, it's still highlighted kind of my underlying problem with this feud where alignments are all over the place.
[00:32:20] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:32:21] Speaker B: Where we still got. We have the strange bad fellows of Heal Christian and Face Cope. And now we've got Heel Kip, who doesn't get much of a reaction, and Kill Switch, who get. Is getting a big face reaction and probably will continue to because he's getting revenge on the guy who treated him, like, forever.
[00:32:38] Speaker A: Right.
[00:32:38] Speaker B: And he's a crazy big man who does athletic stuff.
[00:32:40] Speaker A: It's the.
It's quite literally just the. The thing that everybody had been looking forward to in the patriarchy storyline was Kill Switch becoming luchasaurus again.
And. Yeah, we're not getting it because Christian's technically a face now because he's with his boyfriend.
[00:33:01] Speaker C: They are, yeah. It does feel like they are dragging a lot of things out and really kind of milking these four to five individuals for as much as they can.
But I'll be darned if I'm not. And I'll have to kind of curious to see.
[00:33:17] Speaker B: No, I want. Yeah. Where everyone's gonna end up throwing Kill.
[00:33:20] Speaker C: Switch in the mix now is like.
It does complicate things even more, but I think also adds just a little bit more intrigue as well. Okay, well, how's that kind of plan?
[00:33:29] Speaker B: My prediction is kind of like at the match, Kill Switch does team with Kip and helps him fight it out. And then at the end, probably turns on Kip and boots him in the face or something and then just does a face run. Unless they do bring back Jack Barry and him where I could see them doing like a full heel tag team. I see evil. Jurassic Express.
Jurassic Express. Rebirth.
[00:33:53] Speaker A: Jurassic World Express.
I saw somebody say that it was like they can't do the full face, cope and Christian thing until they fight off like every single person that Christian has over in the last two years.
[00:34:13] Speaker B: The ghost of Luke Perry yet. Next week on Dynamite, right?
[00:34:16] Speaker C: Yes.
It's. It's the Christian's ghosts of just a.
[00:34:22] Speaker B: Bunch of dead dads.
Get that.
[00:34:29] Speaker C: They have to fight Christian. Seven evil exes.
[00:34:36] Speaker B: But yeah, I'm not trying to be disparaging. I'm optimistic for the program again.
[00:34:41] Speaker A: Like, it's like I. I have my misgivings, but I'm like, I. I see Copeland and Christian and they ring together. I'm just like, yes, let's go.
[00:34:49] Speaker B: Yeah, it's five seconds. It's cool seeing those two together. Yeah, I'm ready for the poses. I want it all.
[00:34:56] Speaker C: No, it's a six second pose now.
That's only on pay per view, pal.
[00:35:04] Speaker B: Gotta buy it on Amazon Prime.
QR code in the bottom left corner.
[00:35:08] Speaker A: If you buy it on Amazon, do you get to see the kids?
[00:35:13] Speaker B: Jeff Bezos. The always strategy is finally paying off.
[00:35:17] Speaker A: It's a trailer exclusive ran thing.
[00:35:23] Speaker C: But after that, we go backstage to Mark Briscoe, just kind of meandering.
[00:35:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:35:29] Speaker C: He runs into a cameraman and he just yells that he's gonna go find mjf. He flew halfway across the world. He's gonna find him and he's gonna kill him.
[00:35:39] Speaker A: Never gonna end.
Awesome.
[00:35:42] Speaker B: No subtlety.
[00:35:43] Speaker A: Murder. Murder.
[00:35:46] Speaker C: We then go to about half a second of a Ricochet promo before MJF comes in and Brings up how, hey, I don't know if you just saw that, but I got a guy who's on the hunt for me, and the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
What does he. What does he say? He's like, I'm gonna be honest. Ball puke will freaking out.
[00:36:07] Speaker B: Yeah.
Gives the. Yeah, that was funny.
[00:36:14] Speaker C: But they agree that they're going on a little mark hunt themselves.
[00:36:20] Speaker B: Yeah. MJF wants to hurt Hangman. Ricochet wants to hurt Brisco. So they're like, let's do this.
[00:36:25] Speaker A: Figure it out.
[00:36:26] Speaker C: So they shake on it and go on their heelish merry little way.
[00:36:30] Speaker B: Well, I love that they actually acknowledged the camera before they started scheming.
[00:36:34] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:36:35] Speaker B: Like, hey, get the out of here, man. We're about to talk about our evil plans.
[00:36:38] Speaker A: Watched like, thank you before.
[00:36:41] Speaker B: Exactly.
Instead of just doing a fade away, it was like, that was a nice little, like, touch of reality there.
[00:36:47] Speaker A: And I liked how Ricochet and Gates of Agony had, like, little matching. Not matching vests. I had, like, the vest.
[00:36:55] Speaker B: No, they're wearing, like, a little formal.
[00:36:58] Speaker A: Very nice. Yeah. Very snazzy.
[00:36:59] Speaker B: They. It's a. It's a good group look, like it fits them very well.
[00:37:04] Speaker A: They should kiss too.
[00:37:09] Speaker C: You have that as an asterisk after every single match on this or every single segment on this.
[00:37:13] Speaker B: Just.
[00:37:13] Speaker C: And then they kissed hard.
They kiss and they kiss hard.
There was a lot of kissing in this match with fists and other things.
[00:37:29] Speaker B: This was cool, though.
[00:37:32] Speaker C: Yeah, this. This was the point in the show where dinner was ready and I said, perfect timing. So I put my notebook down and I watched some badass tag team wrestling.
[00:37:43] Speaker A: Yeah, this is right.
[00:37:45] Speaker C: FTR vs Brodido in the finals for the number one contenders of the tag team champions.
[00:37:51] Speaker B: So Danielson even starts off just psyched. Like, you can just hear how excited he is for this match.
[00:37:59] Speaker C: He's like, these FTR guys, yeah, they're jerks, but they're awesome. And Brodito and band, Brody, King and Bandito.
[00:38:07] Speaker A: Awesome.
[00:38:08] Speaker C: And then he's just like marking out the whole match.
[00:38:13] Speaker B: And you could see him, like, every once in a while I'd catch him on comment. He's just like, zoned into the monitor, like, so hard.
Like I said, that's what.
[00:38:22] Speaker C: Awesome.
[00:38:23] Speaker B: It's nice. It's having somebody who loves wrestling on there there.
[00:38:28] Speaker C: And what a. Yeah, it is match.
What a treat. Or what a match to. To lock into because God damn.
Just a.
[00:38:38] Speaker A: This was awesome.
[00:38:39] Speaker C: I think a great tag team match. Yeah, it was great heel work from ftr and big amazing spots.
[00:38:46] Speaker B: Yeah.
I mean this is another just FTR bringing a classic out of somebody. Like. I mean Brodido's great. Don't get me wrong. But like fdr, when put with those right people like they did with the Gun Club, like they did with the Outriders. Like they bring people to career best work. And to me this was very much that.
[00:39:05] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:39:05] Speaker B: I have a thousand things written down for this.
[00:39:08] Speaker C: Please. I have.
[00:39:10] Speaker A: I wrote a lot.
[00:39:11] Speaker C: 000 things.
[00:39:12] Speaker B: Yeah.
I mean, to start, like, one of my absolute favorite things was Dax getting pissed off at the start. He goes and sits down next to commentary. And then he grabs a chair. He goes to throw it in the ring. And Paul Turner. The ref catch catches it and throws it out. And then Dax does it again. And Paul Turner catches it again. I was like. Oh, they're going for. This is gonna be fun. Like they're.
[00:39:34] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:39:35] Speaker B: On board for this.
[00:39:36] Speaker A: There was a lot of stuff where it did feel like they were killing for time but like they filled the time with, like, really entertaining stuff.
[00:39:45] Speaker C: I didn't even. Until they made the announcement. I didn't realize. I'm like. What do you mean? When they'd be going for 25 minutes.
[00:39:50] Speaker B: Like. Yeah. I had this spoiled for me. So I knew how I. Oh, no. Yeah. That's why I like watching live. But they love British stuff.
[00:39:59] Speaker A: Right. I kind of had. I. I wasn't spoiled. But I did have the feeling when like the way that the match started out.
[00:40:06] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:40:06] Speaker A: Like the.
[00:40:07] Speaker B: And I. It didn't detract for me. I still had so much fun even knowing, like, what happened. I was like. This was just. I was biting on everything still. Like it.
[00:40:16] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:40:16] Speaker B: Was a blast.
[00:40:17] Speaker A: It was so good.
[00:40:18] Speaker C: No. They got me a couple times for sure.
The big turning point is big Stoke has come out in a sling this week after his cope beating Faithful.
Yeah. His faithful run in with Cope last week.
[00:40:35] Speaker A: Several times. Yeah.
[00:40:40] Speaker B: And he gets no hoes.
[00:40:42] Speaker C: But it wasn't just a sling as.
[00:40:45] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:40:46] Speaker C: He had a little bit of a secret weapon in there.
[00:40:48] Speaker B: An international object, if you will.
[00:40:50] Speaker A: Dr. Pipe. Yes.
[00:40:54] Speaker C: Dr. Pipe.
[00:40:55] Speaker B: Dr. Pipe. Yeah.
[00:40:57] Speaker C: Hi. Nice to meet you. I'm Dr. Pipe.
[00:41:00] Speaker A: I lay myself everywhere.
[00:41:04] Speaker C: And he laid it into Brody King as he was attempting to.
[00:41:07] Speaker B: Yeah. Was it. Brody was going for a dive or something. And Stoke just catches him with a clean waffled him.
[00:41:14] Speaker C: Busted the open.
Busted the open.
[00:41:17] Speaker B: It's not an FTR classic unless somebody bleeds.
[00:41:21] Speaker C: And my God, did Brody King.
That was a gusher.
[00:41:27] Speaker A: Yeah. Like he had like the Crimson Mask. It looked really cool.
[00:41:31] Speaker B: Yeah, Brody, he's already a scary looking man. And then you cover his face in blood, right? It's like, oh, okay.
[00:41:39] Speaker C: Yeah. Seeing him get like rally spots with just like blood all over his face, it's just like, God, that dude's so badass.
[00:41:47] Speaker B: Yeah.
I mean, everybody in this match is good, but as I said before, Brody King put every belt on him. He is such a, like, star and who AEW should be building around. He's wildly. Like, there was a point where they were doing the barks, like while he was guiding after a hot tie. And it was the loudest barks I've ever heard in my entire life. That place was shaking with him.
[00:42:09] Speaker A: He is.
He's insanely over for.
Yeah, he's like, he's not, he's not a perfect wrestler, but he's got a look, he's got an act, he's got a gimmick. People love him.
[00:42:23] Speaker C: Like you would, I think is even more impressive.
[00:42:26] Speaker A: Put him in.
[00:42:27] Speaker C: Matt is just like how many times he's kind of been pinballed around in his time in AEW of like he's in the House of Black and then the.
[00:42:36] Speaker B: Yeah, he's getting just kind of like side guy. And I mean, I do think he was probably the big winner out of House of Black. Like. Oh, when it comes down to it.
[00:42:45] Speaker C: Not even close, I think.
[00:42:46] Speaker B: And I mean, none of this, like Bandito throughout. This is amazing too. There was so much stuff he did where I was just like, my jaw is absolutely dropped. Like, both these guys have been showing.
[00:42:57] Speaker C: Out same thing with ftr. Like everybody, everybody brought it in this match.
[00:43:03] Speaker B: I don't know where there was a point where one of the craziest things, Bandito goes for his like, crazy tope over the top and FTR just catch him perfectly into like a powerbomb position and just slam or. No, it was reversed because they slam him face first into the apron. Yeah, it was just so fluid and smooth. I was just amazed.
[00:43:24] Speaker C: Piledriver on the Brody King on the apron.
[00:43:27] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:43:28] Speaker C: That was brutal at one point.
[00:43:30] Speaker B: Yeah, because I just got spot after spot. It's crazy.
[00:43:33] Speaker C: Yeah, that's. It was. That kind of match is. It was spot after spot after spot.
Table comes out at about, ah, a minute.
[00:43:41] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, they pulled it out when they, when they got it set up. 30 seconds were left when, yeah, when.
[00:43:47] Speaker A: They, when they were kind of like starting to go down like the, the final stretch, I was kind of like, this is getting, this is getting stupid.
Yeah, a little bit stupid. Somebody should try and go for, like, a pinball instead of eating them up on the outside more.
[00:44:02] Speaker B: But I will say, I mean, they did sell it well. Like, the disorientation and not knowing, like, kind of what was going on.
[00:44:10] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:44:10] Speaker B: Like, as.
[00:44:11] Speaker C: Because, like, Bandito was confused that, you know, the matches. Well, I guess we have to get to the point where the match is over.
So to the 30 minute time limit on this match. And by golly, they hit it with.
[00:44:26] Speaker B: Cash doing his crazy, stupid dive. He does right into that table.
[00:44:30] Speaker A: Like, I.
[00:44:32] Speaker B: He has one of the meanest, like, suicide dies because he just throws all of himself into that.
[00:44:38] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:44:39] Speaker A: Jumped up when he did that because it was like, that looked like it sucked so hard.
[00:44:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:46] Speaker C: There's another dive that I screamed at later in the show, but we'll get there.
[00:44:50] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Like we were saying, though, I like that. After the match had ended, Bandito hits the 21 Plex on Dax, I think, and goes for the pin. And the ref's like, no, no, it's. Oh, so they were selling.
All right. These guys are so up. They're so into it. They didn't even realize, like, how close it was coming.
[00:45:09] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:45:09] Speaker C: And they talked about that with, like, Brody King, too, that they were like, yeah, he's so, like, out of it and, like, his head's busted open and blood's running in his ears. He didn't even hear that. There's a minute left.
[00:45:18] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly.
[00:45:20] Speaker C: And Tony Khan makes it official.
It will be a three way at Forbidden Door for the Tag Team Championships.
[00:45:28] Speaker B: The hurts. And again, doesn't have to take the pen. Yeah.
Yeah. Or lose to fdr. Which they don't want.
[00:45:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:45:35] Speaker C: Which they said.
[00:45:35] Speaker B: That's fast on commentary.
[00:45:37] Speaker C: It's like, yeah, FDR is probably mad and probably pissed that there's a chance they could lose their belts without even getting pinned. And they come out. They mean mug and.
Yeah.
[00:45:47] Speaker B: I will say, this whole tournament, to me, has really, like, reinvigorated the tag belts. Like, I genuinely have cared about, like, all the teams involved. And there's been really nice store. The building of Rodido has been fantastic.
FTR is just on such a, like, revitalized tale since turning heel and teaming up with Stokely that I thought this did.
They did a great job of getting me invested in the belts that I'd kind of, like, gotten tired. Not tired of. Just stopped caring about as much.
[00:46:14] Speaker A: I think that's what people. People complain about the number of tournaments that AEW does. Tournaments are Great tournaments. I. I love tournaments. But like they've served a purpose beyond just being cool. And it's to remind you here's all of these wrestlers in this division, they're inbuilt story generators.
And the fact that the tag team division has been kind of weak.
This was a great reminder to be like hey, remember the Gun Club? Do you remember Gun Club? Bullet Club Gold? I don't know what they're called. The Bang Bang. They're the Bang Bang.
[00:46:52] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. The Bang Bang Gang now. Yeah, yeah. Because one of the Gun Club.
[00:46:55] Speaker A: Do you remember Gates of Agony? Do you remember like look how far the Outbreaks have come. Remember how.
[00:47:03] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
[00:47:04] Speaker A: Young Bucks and FTR actually are.
[00:47:08] Speaker C: Yeah, exactly. There was a point a couple weeks ago we thought there's a very solid chance the finals were just going to be FTR in the Bucks again.
[00:47:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:47:15] Speaker C: We agreed it shouldn't have been but it didn't end up being that and it didn't end up just being FTR going for the belts again. It's you know now this three way between something interesting.
[00:47:28] Speaker B: Yeah. With a wildly over like and that's. You know I'm always iffy on mashup tag teams like that but Brody and Bandido have just worked so well together. That's been fun watching their like coalesce and rise.
[00:47:41] Speaker C: Yeah. Then I think even Danielson called it out. He's like yeah, this is this guy. This is these guys like fourth match together and they're already like three in one. Like just meshed together so well.
[00:47:54] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh exactly.
[00:47:57] Speaker C: Yeah. That's probably match the night I think for all of us.
[00:48:00] Speaker B: Easy. Yeah, the main was good but this was that. This was the in ring pinnacle of the show.
[00:48:06] Speaker A: I would get to the main event for me but this was the. This tag match was actually.
[00:48:11] Speaker B: Yeah, the main was great too. Don't get me wrong. And we'll get there. But like yeah, to me that I. This is. They've been on such a tear with having these great like tag matches and eight man matches every week. It's been just such a highlight of dynamite for me. Just give me. Give me one PWG match a week and I'm happy.
[00:48:28] Speaker A: This was an excellent tag team match.
I loved it. Yes, it was great.
[00:48:34] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:48:36] Speaker C: But after that we get Hangman coming on or excuse me, there's a little video for the Okada and Swerve match coming up on Sunday for the.
What is it called now?
[00:48:50] Speaker B: Is it.
[00:48:51] Speaker A: It's the. It's not international calling it the Unified.
[00:48:53] Speaker B: The Unified. Yeah. Even though it is still 3, I'm still confused on how it works, honestly.
[00:48:59] Speaker A: It's the International and the Continental.
[00:49:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:49:04] Speaker C: And call it the Intercon. Just do it.
[00:49:07] Speaker B: And then it's the Unified.
There's three separate belts but the one belt represents all three or something. Right.
[00:49:12] Speaker A: But they still have the palanquin for the three of them because.
[00:49:16] Speaker B: Yeah, why not?
[00:49:18] Speaker A: Why not? Exactly.
[00:49:20] Speaker B: Okado is like Mercedes gets eight belts, I want four.
Three.
[00:49:25] Speaker A: I don't think Okada wants to carry that much.
[00:49:27] Speaker B: She's like, yeah, probably not.
[00:49:29] Speaker C: Give it to Don. Give it to Don.
[00:49:32] Speaker B: Yeah. And this whole. And the video package kind of just to me also orient like I don't, I hate to say I don't really care that much about this match. I'm excited for it. I'm sure it's gonna be a great match but it's like I'm not exactly to the.
[00:49:45] Speaker C: I don't care about like the story going into it.
[00:49:49] Speaker A: It's a very weird afterthought of a match.
[00:49:53] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:49:54] Speaker B: I'd like, I'm sure when it's probably gonna end up being like one of the top three matches of the night or something. It's good over deliver probably. But yeah, just with so many other story like really story driven matches on this card which is kind of surprising for Forbidden Door. It does feel a little thrown together. Like they were like wouldn't just swerve or so got to be cool. Okay.
[00:50:14] Speaker C: Swerve goes. That's a neat belt. I would like it. And that's the match, like.
[00:50:20] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:50:20] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:50:21] Speaker B: Call me a few times, say whose house a few times. All right.
[00:50:24] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, that's kind of been it.
[00:50:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:50:27] Speaker C: That's basically what this video package was.
[00:50:29] Speaker B: It really was. But yeah, excited but a little.
[00:50:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
A little more varied of a segment now where Hangman comes out champion is in Glasgow. This is MJF calling him underhanded, insecure, gutless ballist, you know, the usual and says that he, you know, like, like you said, is a coward and he's not going to come out here to, you know, get his ass kicked. A couple days before he does talk.
[00:51:01] Speaker B: About his nice, nice boots he's wearing too.
[00:51:03] Speaker A: Ostrich leather.
[00:51:04] Speaker C: Yeah. He says how he's gonna put a size 12 ostrich leathers up MJF's checker print ass.
[00:51:10] Speaker B: Then we get a nice shot of the boots and it's like those pretty solid.
[00:51:14] Speaker C: Yeah, those are some nice ass boots.
MGF music Excuse me. MJF's music hits but as per usual with MJF.
[00:51:25] Speaker A: They got the crowd for no reason.
[00:51:28] Speaker B: Yeah, the crowd. The crowd sing along with everything. Who else? Nobody else sings along to MJF's theme song. I never even thought about melody of it. But they're like harmonizing and as usual, we.
[00:51:40] Speaker C: We don't see him. But Tony Shivani says that MJF has a camera backstage and he said that if Hangman leaves the ring before MJF is done talking, something really bad is going to happen.
So we cut back to MJF backstage with Ricochet and Gates of Agony and Mark Briscoe all tied up.
[00:52:06] Speaker B: Reservoir Dog situation going here.
[00:52:09] Speaker C: Their Mark hunt was successful.
[00:52:11] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:52:12] Speaker C: And MJF lets Hangman know that he has three requirements for their match on Sunday. And if those requirements aren't met, they're going to find out if people like it when MJF lights things on fire as much as they like it when Hangman lights things on fire. And what are those things that they're gonna light on? Well, I guess thing they're gonna like on fire.
It's Mark Briscoe. They're gonna light Mark Briscoe on fire.
[00:52:40] Speaker B: They douse them with gasoline. That seems not to smell bad at all. Well, we're in an enclosed space with a poured out.
[00:52:47] Speaker A: They were, they were all like really pantomime. I was like, oh, wow. Yeah, it smells like.
[00:52:52] Speaker B: Yeah, it smells like gas. Yeah, this is gas. This is not water. We promise.
[00:52:58] Speaker C: Yeah.
So requirement one, the title can change hands via disqualification. Requirement two, the title can change hands via a count out.
Number three, MJF doesn't have to use his contract and he gets to keep it and still gets the match.
[00:53:17] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:53:17] Speaker C: Yes, yes. That was the, that was the last video. But yes, I agree.
[00:53:23] Speaker B: I also murder a person.
[00:53:25] Speaker A: He kind of wasted 2.2 stipulations because no DQ. Just make it title change is very like. That's just the same thing, man. You could ask for like, yeah, just.
[00:53:37] Speaker C: Make it like a false count anywhere.
[00:53:39] Speaker B: Well, no, it's. He's saying it can if a DQ happens.
So like all, you know, Ricochet just has to come out and hit Max and then Max wins the title.
[00:53:47] Speaker A: Right. But like, true, true. He could have like, that's like kind of the same thing still, like, like DQ count out.
Title change is kind of like the same stipulation they, they could have very easily.
[00:54:02] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, just do it as one. Yeah.
[00:54:04] Speaker A: Something else. Like he could have said, make it.
[00:54:06] Speaker B: A handy cat match, free candy before the match.
[00:54:08] Speaker A: I get to have.
[00:54:09] Speaker C: Don't get me anything.
Don't get me a sausage roll.
[00:54:12] Speaker A: Sausage rolls, yes.
[00:54:13] Speaker B: Honestly, I'm not gonna lie. I. I thought this was all kind of dumb.
[00:54:18] Speaker A: This sucked. This.
[00:54:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:54:21] Speaker A: Sucked.
It made the entire, like. It made the entire build to this pointless.
[00:54:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:54:29] Speaker A: And then it's also like, why was it murder your go to.
[00:54:34] Speaker B: And like.
Yeah. And then also it's like, so your bluff is that you are going to murder a person on camera and then go to like. I get it's wrestling and there's these, like, you know, like, Hangman burned down somebody's house. He should be. But like, you're blatantly just threatening to murder Mark Briscoe on television. Like.
[00:54:54] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:54:56] Speaker A: Why? Like, if you're trying to goad somebody into a title match in the first place, why is that not your first thing? Why do you not go to that?
[00:55:07] Speaker C: He was one step ahead.
[00:55:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:55:09] Speaker B: To me it smacked of sports entertainment, I'm sorry to say.
[00:55:13] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. When you use those two fateful words, you're kind of. I kind of agree.
[00:55:19] Speaker B: Like, I guess we should say Hangman does accept the stipulation.
[00:55:24] Speaker C: He does.
[00:55:24] Speaker A: No, he did.
[00:55:25] Speaker C: He does, actually.
[00:55:26] Speaker A: I can't believe he would lie like that. We saw Mark Briscoe burned to death.
[00:55:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
I can't believe dynamite's off the air now.
[00:55:32] Speaker A: It was pre taped. Yeah, they still showed the whole thing. It was up.
[00:55:38] Speaker C: Unfortunately, he is not with his brother. He is in hell.
[00:55:41] Speaker A: Like he said, Mark Briscoe's dead.
Well, no, he didn't actually kill him.
[00:55:48] Speaker B: So it's fine that we know.
Maybe not on dying.
[00:55:52] Speaker A: He's in purgatory with all those young lions who never.
[00:55:55] Speaker C: But yes, Hangman accepts. He literally has no choice or he would the be part of the reason a man dies. So, like complicit. He accepts video cuts, he charges back there with a chair. They go to commercial, come back, Hangman's like, where is he? Walks up on Ricochet.
Just whales, which was really fun.
[00:56:23] Speaker B: Yeah, he got him good too.
Yep.
[00:56:26] Speaker C: And then he's just like, where? Where's.
[00:56:27] Speaker B: Get them up against the wall. Like Heiden Reich and Michael Cole. Like, yes.
[00:56:37] Speaker A: This week he's right.
[00:56:39] Speaker C: But he didn't have to say.
[00:56:42] Speaker B: Dark Jeff.
[00:56:43] Speaker A: Dark Jeff.
[00:56:44] Speaker C: Dark Jeff.
[00:56:46] Speaker A: Yeah. Now you have to grow out the mustache.
[00:56:52] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:56:52] Speaker A: Do the good.
[00:56:53] Speaker B: That's why I haven't shaved since last Sunday. That's why this is coming out.
[00:56:57] Speaker A: There you go.
[00:56:59] Speaker B: Not smoke the evil weed.
[00:57:03] Speaker C: But we find out MJF has left the building.
[00:57:07] Speaker B: Dex, the Security guard who tells him security guards.
[00:57:10] Speaker C: Like, hey, he's gone.
[00:57:11] Speaker B: Yeah, he's gone.
[00:57:14] Speaker A: You for doing.
[00:57:18] Speaker B: And I guess that's kind of like. I guess the story there. Hangman still has his angry side and all that. And I get like, yeah, the one way this will work for me really well is if on Sunday they start the match, Hangman beats him and MJF cashes in his contract and then immediately gets beaten by Hangman again, like just within the span of like a minute.
[00:57:38] Speaker C: After the cashing in the money in the bank to lose the.
[00:57:43] Speaker A: Yeah, I actually know how you do that too, is he beat some, MJF cashes in, and then Hangman immediately gets himself DQ'd because, like, he just killed.
[00:57:54] Speaker B: Yeah, because it doesn't work that way.
[00:57:56] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:57:58] Speaker B: Yep, you won, but it's not.
[00:58:00] Speaker C: Yeah, he just rolls. He just rolls out.
[00:58:02] Speaker B: It's still champions advantage in the contract.
[00:58:05] Speaker C: Correct. Okay, I think.
I think y' all might be on to something.
[00:58:11] Speaker B: Either it's still this whole, like, these are all nitpicks because this is still. They'll probably have an amazing match. The show still looks very.
[00:58:16] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:58:18] Speaker A: I'm like.
I've, like, really liked this feud, but, like, this was just like.
[00:58:23] Speaker B: Yeah, I.
[00:58:24] Speaker A: The whole feud had kind of tripping.
[00:58:26] Speaker C: Over the finish line.
[00:58:26] Speaker A: Feud has been like, this is the good.
[00:58:29] Speaker B: I like the idea of Hangman overcoming his anger and outsmarting mjf and MJF being the one that's driven towards anger. And like, I felt like that was a good. This almost feels like a regression a little bit.
[00:58:42] Speaker A: It's. It was. It's. For me, it's been the. It's been like the best of MJF and like, MJF at like, his character's most annoying. Like, the stuff that everybody is actually tired of.
[00:58:54] Speaker B: Yeah. When it works. It works really well, though.
[00:58:56] Speaker A: Yes.
It's just. It's very, very weird that, like, usually he's the one that the baby face chases. He chased the baby face in this and he's still one.
Like, he's still.
[00:59:12] Speaker B: More dynamics weirdness.
[00:59:13] Speaker A: It just. It didn't.
[00:59:15] Speaker B: Which has always been an AEW thing. Like, it's. I. It's hard to hit. Hit it just right. That's something they've always kind of struggled.
[00:59:22] Speaker A: With when they do the tropes well. They do the tropes really well when they try and subvert them. It's hit or miss.
[00:59:29] Speaker B: Yeah, agreed.
[00:59:30] Speaker A: It kind of ended on a miss in this situation, I think.
[00:59:35] Speaker C: But we'll see. How that plays out in a couple days.
[00:59:39] Speaker A: Tune in Sunday.
Maybe England.
[00:59:45] Speaker B: England, England.
[00:59:46] Speaker C: Maybe they will kiss.
[00:59:48] Speaker B: The only way to find out is 49.99.
[00:59:51] Speaker C: Even the participants of the main event, there's a solid chance people will kiss on this show.
[00:59:59] Speaker B: They almost kissed in this match.
[01:00:01] Speaker C: As we go to the main event for the evening. Yet another tag team match with Mercedes Monet and Athena vs. Toni Storm and Alex.
[01:00:13] Speaker A: I think she's just. It's just regular Windsor there.
I don't know.
That's just how they say it.
[01:00:22] Speaker B: Yeah. That's just.
[01:00:23] Speaker A: Please don't beat me up, English people.
[01:00:29] Speaker C: We see that Persephone is in the crowd for the show tonight and she's really good. We find out that Bozilla, or at least I find out that Bozilla has been chosen.
[01:00:40] Speaker B: I will say Bozilla absolutely rips.
[01:00:43] Speaker A: That's.
[01:00:43] Speaker B: I watched her quite.
[01:00:44] Speaker A: That's what she.
[01:00:45] Speaker B: Yeah, I watched her a lot in Marigold and she's very. She was like the standout on that promotion.
[01:00:51] Speaker A: I cannot. They, like, I'm fine with her on this, but like, they need to do. I think GCW did Bozilla versus Megan Bain.
[01:00:59] Speaker B: They did in Vegas. As I say, I was at Dragon Gate during.
[01:01:02] Speaker A: They. They gotta put that on TV immediately.
[01:01:06] Speaker B: Yeah. No, it. Agreed. Yep. I think. I think people are gonna be come away fans of her on Sunday.
[01:01:12] Speaker A: Everybody likes a large woman doing large women things.
[01:01:15] Speaker B: Yep.
[01:01:16] Speaker C: Ain't that the truth.
[01:01:17] Speaker B: Yes, indeed.
I liked when this match started and the crowd is singing Tony, Tony Storm. And Athena starts yelling at them, be like, no, sing my name. Yes. Name.
[01:01:35] Speaker C: Tony Storm does the Fat Bastard spot.
[01:01:39] Speaker A: Which popped Danielson so hard.
[01:01:43] Speaker B: I got me. He's like.
[01:01:45] Speaker A: I watched to Austin Powers. This is.
[01:01:48] Speaker B: God, it's a movie I've seen.
[01:01:50] Speaker C: That's one of the four movies I've seen.
[01:01:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:01:54] Speaker C: Tony, like, honestly.
[01:01:56] Speaker B: Well, she sn. Tony sniffs Mercedes, like, coming in and just. And she goes, delicious. And then does the. Get in my belly and that pops.
[01:02:06] Speaker A: Scotland too. I was like, all right. So, like, he's a national.
[01:02:11] Speaker B: He's a national symbol over there.
[01:02:12] Speaker A: Is he really?
[01:02:13] Speaker B: Like, no. Right now he's their Mickey Mouse.
[01:02:17] Speaker A: I. I need. I need Scottish people to tell me, like, what's the actual relationship they have with Fat Bastard? Because, well, Michael Meyer, he does a.
[01:02:25] Speaker B: Lot of like, Scottish characters.
So I married an ax murderer. Shrek is just a Scottish accent. Like. Yeah, I think there's enough. I imagine there's. Yeah. I think there's an affinity between Mike Myers Characters in Scotland.
[01:02:39] Speaker A: I really need to Scottish person to weigh on and like what the. The national temperature is on faster jokes in 2025 because that was like, wow.
They love getting.
[01:02:53] Speaker B: They got over.
It was nice in Scotland. I like Alex Windsor got some chance too, like to start like she got a very good reception match.
[01:03:03] Speaker A: I enjoyed her a lot.
[01:03:04] Speaker B: Yeah, things came together great.
[01:03:08] Speaker C: They had the. The little dosy dose spot of the like the back and forth in the corner where they go to Irish whip.
Do the little swing your partner round and round tango.
[01:03:21] Speaker B: Alex and Tony do all these like dance double teams together and stuff. Like they did like a tango backhand later in the match that. It's a very fun little gimmick they've got between them.
[01:03:32] Speaker A: I like it. Their tips are tips. Their tips. Their tits are taped up and they're.
They need more dance based offense in wrestling.
[01:03:43] Speaker B: I'm pretty sure at some point Tony grabs Mercedes tits in this too. Because I wrote that down.
[01:03:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
Tony was just like up in Mercedes the entire time. Like, oh, hey.
[01:03:54] Speaker B: Well, we do got a shout out. Erica, you mentioned this in the chat. Tony is wearing an awesome tart in the singlet. That looks amazing.
[01:04:01] Speaker A: That looks incredible.
[01:04:03] Speaker B: Just y.
[01:04:04] Speaker C: Everybody. Everybody looked really cool.
[01:04:07] Speaker B: Very much.
[01:04:08] Speaker A: It's like perfect match. Wonderful. Loved it.
[01:04:11] Speaker C: Yes.
Okay, let's talk about that. Holy. That dive to the outside, I was nuts.
[01:04:20] Speaker A: The other thing that popped the out of Daniel, he's like neck injury.
[01:04:23] Speaker C: Neck injury.
[01:04:23] Speaker A: Is there a neck injury? Oh, my God. Oh, that was awesome. I think.
[01:04:30] Speaker B: Alex.
[01:04:31] Speaker C: Alex Windsor gets dumped to the outside and Athena goes for a dive and Mercedes goes for a dive. And they're like, no, we don't have time for this. I'm doing the dive. Get the ropes. Mercedes is like fine. So she goes over and she holds the ropes up like normal.
Athena does a pretty standard dive through the feet, through the ropes, hits Alex Windsor and then hits the announced table, smashes it with what looks like her whole.
[01:05:00] Speaker A: I don't think.
[01:05:01] Speaker B: And she pops right back up.
[01:05:04] Speaker A: I would. I would not call that an ordinary die. She was going full speed.
[01:05:08] Speaker B: Yeah, that's true.
[01:05:09] Speaker A: Yeah, fair enough.
[01:05:10] Speaker B: She has a crazy. And one thing I actually like that this a lot throughout this match was Athena taking charge of the tag team because Mercedes is shaken being against Tony for the first time since losing to her.
[01:05:23] Speaker C: And that right before, right before they wrestle, they were like, hey, Athena's like, hey, I need you to lock in.
[01:05:29] Speaker B: Yeah, she did it a few. Yeah. A lot of times she's yelling at Merced Being like, get your together. Like we're. I know. Yeah. Like she was really directing Traffic. I thought it was great character work for both of them.
[01:05:39] Speaker C: She yells at her to lock in. Mercedes is like, I am locked in. Don't you know who you're talking to? And Athena's like, yes, that's why I said it.
[01:05:47] Speaker B: Exactly.
I. We've talked about this before. Athena is what such a star. I honestly think. I think she is top five wrestlers in the company and top two women wrestle. Like her and Tony are the top two women. Like I can't really this match.
[01:06:05] Speaker C: I was like, yeah, there's a solid chance she wins on Sunday.
[01:06:08] Speaker B: I'm cool with it. I think she's gonna win the belt on Sunday and then she's gonna lose the ROH belt. At which one's coming up? Is it death before dishonor?
[01:06:17] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I think she holds on to it. I think if she drops it, she's going to just like, just vacate it.
[01:06:25] Speaker B: Well, that's pop and I do I. But I think it's ending soon because she hits a thousand days with the belt in like two weeks. Like right before. Like a couple days before Death before she Honor. She hits a thousand days, which is an insane title.
[01:06:38] Speaker A: Either way, I don't think she's gonna head have the ROH title.
[01:06:41] Speaker B: No. Y. I think she's moving. Her and Billy are gonna be main roster all the full on all the time. Which it should be.
[01:06:49] Speaker C: Yeah.
There was another spot that popped me in this match with the on the stairs pile.
[01:06:58] Speaker B: Oh yeah. No, I had to.
There was no need to Tony, I to do that. And it was so loud.
Like it looked gnarly.
[01:07:10] Speaker C: Yeah. And that's. That is what knocked Tony Storm out for the rest of the match.
As Alex Windsor gets Mercedes Monet in the sharpshooter. Mercedes immediately taps Windsor thinks, oh, I want it.
She's not the legal, legal woman.
[01:07:31] Speaker B: Was there a blind tag I missed or was this just like there was? Okay, cool.
[01:07:35] Speaker A: This is.
[01:07:36] Speaker B: Yeah, cuz Athena's been doing that lately where she sets up these like surprise distraction setups for the Oace. And it always looks so cool.
[01:07:45] Speaker C: And out of nowhere she comes down, hits the oace pins wins.
[01:07:49] Speaker B: Yeah. Beautiful stuff.
[01:07:51] Speaker C: Perfect.
[01:07:51] Speaker B: Yeah, it's. It still feels odd to me that this is the end of the show and not the giant Smash Brawl dive spot from which I'm glad the women got the main event. And this was definitely. This was the better match than maybe they knew. Like that first trio's match Wasn't going to be much of an actual match. And they wanted a real.
[01:08:10] Speaker A: Yeah, that's true.
[01:08:11] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, this just kind of.
[01:08:13] Speaker C: I ain't mad about this close.
Don't get me wrong.
[01:08:16] Speaker A: I love this match. This match.
[01:08:17] Speaker B: Yeah. And I have no. I like. I would put the. Just the tag match just slightly above the men's tag. Slightly. But it's pretty neck and neck because this was fantastic. Everybody was bringing their A game.
[01:08:31] Speaker C: Yeah.
And that's. That's where we end the show.
[01:08:35] Speaker B: Mercedes gets in Persephone's face for a second. Athena gets.
[01:08:39] Speaker A: Oh, yes. Yeah, that's right.
[01:08:41] Speaker C: Persephone shoves her, yells at her.
[01:08:43] Speaker A: Persephone, she shouldn't win. But I would be. I would not. I would not be mad if she won.
[01:08:49] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:08:50] Speaker A: On Sunday.
[01:08:50] Speaker B: I'm pretty sure Mercedes gonna have another belt by Sunday anyway because she's challenging at the Rev Pro show on Saturday. I think for the Scottish women. Some.
[01:08:59] Speaker A: I was gonna say.
[01:09:00] Speaker B: Yeah. They just.
[01:09:00] Speaker A: Doesn't she already have the Rev Pro title?
[01:09:03] Speaker B: Yeah, I know this is a. This is like some girl. I'm not super familiar with UK Indies, but it's like a Scottish dream women's champion or something. It was called. I don't know what company it's from.
[01:09:12] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:09:12] Speaker B: But it's. Apparently that should be a great match. But I think they are.
[01:09:15] Speaker C: Oh, you don't know.
[01:09:17] Speaker B: There's so much rest on it.
[01:09:19] Speaker A: You don't either. So shut the up.
[01:09:22] Speaker B: I barely know ref, bro. Like.
[01:09:25] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:09:25] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:09:26] Speaker A: I confess ignorance to ref.
[01:09:28] Speaker B: Like, I'm probably. I might sign up for it for this weekend and watch for like the month or something. But yeah, it's just. There's too much other wrestling.
[01:09:36] Speaker C: There's so much wrestling and there's gonna be so much wrestling on Sunday.
[01:09:40] Speaker A: I'm gonna get to watch on Sunday because I. You know why I have work.
[01:09:44] Speaker C: Oh, no.
[01:09:46] Speaker B: You gota. Yeah, have Tony Khan call in for you. Get a note from Tony Khan.
[01:09:50] Speaker A: Tony, I'm your strongest soldier.
I'm really not.
I would sh Under a bus if it got me out of work, though.
[01:10:02] Speaker B: I am excited for a daytime show. I love when p. I love UK pay per views because they start at like 1 o' clock and they're done by like 5,5 instead of getting done.
[01:10:12] Speaker C: It'll still be done by like 8 o'. Clock.
[01:10:14] Speaker B: Well, I know this isn't looking as.
[01:10:16] Speaker A: It's not gonna be all in. Was it all in? Was.
[01:10:21] Speaker B: It was the longest pay per view ever. We had no idea.
[01:10:25] Speaker A: I should not have.
[01:10:26] Speaker B: If this is four. If this is four hours, I'm still. Even if it's five hours, I'm done at six o'. Clock.
[01:10:31] Speaker A: I'm pretty sure.
[01:10:32] Speaker C: Yeah, you can go get dinner afterwards.
[01:10:33] Speaker A: You know, have a nice meal, have a. Have a smoke.
[01:10:37] Speaker C: Yeah, you were.
[01:10:38] Speaker A: I was blacked out by the end.
[01:10:39] Speaker C: You were on One for All.
It's probably for the best that we didn't put that out on the airwaves. That's all I'm gonna say.
[01:10:49] Speaker A: I'm a classy lady.
[01:10:52] Speaker C: You sure are a lady.
[01:10:56] Speaker A: Thank you, but.
[01:10:58] Speaker C: Yes, we will.
We will.
Movings be damned.
Speaking of movings, Ella is still working on getting everything set up and moved in, hence their absence this evening. But come Sunday, we should all be set up.
[01:11:13] Speaker B: The studio is the wreck of the Ella Fitz Taylor.
[01:11:21] Speaker C: Well, folks, we had a good run.
[01:11:27] Speaker A: Shoot myself now or something.
I can throw that knife.
[01:11:33] Speaker C: Hey, you have that bus that Tony Khan was gonna get thrown under?
[01:11:36] Speaker A: I'll get room for one. I'll take him with me.
I could probably, but.
[01:11:43] Speaker C: Yes, we will.
We will do our damnedest to record something for Forbidden Door on Sunday and put it out on the Patreon feed over at Monday Night Fake Fights Patreon, which you can find. I think it's just Mnff pod.
[01:12:01] Speaker B: I think so. Something like that.
It's on the link to the podcast in the description.
Yeah, go give.
Go give Ella money. Come on.
[01:12:11] Speaker C: Yes, we.
We may see some of that someday, but they need it more than we do. So go help them out. Get wrestling content new and old and get ready for Forbidden Door because it's gonna blow the doors wide open.
[01:12:29] Speaker A: Could you be any.
[01:12:30] Speaker B: All right. I feel better about my joke now. Yeah, awesome.
[01:12:35] Speaker C: You're welcome.
[01:12:36] Speaker A: Tony Found's not gonna pay us now because you're just like.
[01:12:42] Speaker C: We don't get the TK check. Oh, no, look, we got kicked off the paint. All the while it was.
[01:12:50] Speaker A: I was.
Sorry. I was just.
[01:12:52] Speaker B: Whenever. Once it came out that I was J.D. from New York, it all fell apart.
[01:13:02] Speaker C: All right, everybody, thank you for listening. We will catch you next weekend or Fallout.
[01:13:11] Speaker B: I was gonna.
Big red button on the D.C.
