Episode Transcript
[00:00:07] Speaker A: In the beginning, the earth was a dark, formless void.
But then God spoke and said, let there be wrestling.
And with that, there was Monday and wrestling happened on Mondays. And God looked upon her works and said, holy shit, that's a lot of racism in video packages.
On the second day, God got depressed and lo did she post about it on the DVD VR forums. And with that, there was Tuesday.
On the third day, God said, let there be Wednesday. And lo did the people reply unto her.
We know what that means.
[00:00:56] Speaker B: And welcome back to Wednesday night Fake Fights, where we talk all things aew. This week we got a cold one with Winter is coming.
It's AW's kind of a yearly mini pay per view type show. They do these throughout the year. And this year it is in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have one hell of a show here. As always, it's me, your boy, Jeff, the Token mongoose. And I'm here with my co host.
Why you.
[00:01:24] Speaker A: It's Erica Warrens. And you ain't.
When the word Go watch the last. Kw just go watch the last.
It's the funniest I've ever seen him.
[00:01:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
Reip to some of the best wrestling stuff on YouTube.
[00:01:45] Speaker A: Girl City is dead now.
[00:01:47] Speaker C: Girls, they just, they want to smoke drugs and it's me, girls. Ella Taylor here to smoke drugs.
[00:01:57] Speaker B: But.
[00:01:58] Speaker C: Yeah, no, it's me. Hi. Hey.
You know me from, you may know me from such places as posting on Blue sky and this podcast. This podcast.
Yeah, you might recognize and, and hopefully from nowhere else. Yeah.
Because if you recognize me from the street, I'm sorry.
Anyways, winter is coming. Even though Game of Thrones is been over forever.
[00:02:27] Speaker B: Largely irrelevant. I mean, House of the Dragons on Still.
[00:02:31] Speaker C: And, and now they got, they got.
[00:02:33] Speaker B: They'Re doing this Dunkin Egg.
[00:02:35] Speaker C: They're doing the Dunkin Egg show, which is pretty, pretty wild.
[00:02:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
I cannot remember the name of that book.
[00:02:43] Speaker C: What's, what's a Knight of Westeros? I believe is.
[00:02:46] Speaker B: Yeah. Night. Night of the Tall guy.
[00:02:48] Speaker C: Yeah, I, I, I use the Night of the Tall.
[00:02:52] Speaker B: Very long descriptions of flags and food that go on for pages and, and, and erections and.
[00:03:00] Speaker A: Yes, we have the, the erections and yeah. Tall guy.
[00:03:04] Speaker C: Oh, and we cannot stress enough all the sexual assault.
[00:03:08] Speaker B: You write what you know.
[00:03:10] Speaker C: Yeah, just food and boners for him, apparently.
[00:03:13] Speaker B: Yeah.
Murder, love sexology.
[00:03:17] Speaker A: Well, I'm driving. I put the snow tires on.
[00:03:22] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:03:22] Speaker C: Because winter is coming. Let's put the stuff.
[00:03:27] Speaker B: I was thinking because it's actually winter right now and there's a ton of snow and like. Yeah, yeah, this is true.
[00:03:34] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:03:34] Speaker B: But I don't know if there is in Japan or not. No, I don't know what happens there.
[00:03:39] Speaker A: No, I don't know what happens either.
[00:03:42] Speaker B: Is it summer? Is it Australia?
[00:03:45] Speaker A: Winter?
It's cold. As I'm sitting here in a like one of those big fleece blanket hoodies.
[00:03:56] Speaker C: Is it winter? Is it somewhere over there?
[00:04:00] Speaker A: It's still the north.
[00:04:01] Speaker C: That's, that's the northern southern hemisphere.
[00:04:03] Speaker B: It is. It's very, it's lying. It's equilaterally fairly aligned.
[00:04:10] Speaker A: Yeah, it's cold as I think I.
[00:04:13] Speaker B: Used the big word right there.
[00:04:14] Speaker A: Yeah, equilaterally.
[00:04:17] Speaker C: Talk about so many things that aren't wrestling. We talked about so much.
[00:04:22] Speaker A: Get in the car.
Get in the car. I'm telling your mother.
[00:04:29] Speaker C: I'll talk to that. Good luck.
[00:04:32] Speaker B: We'll turn this podcast around right now.
[00:04:34] Speaker A: Dynamite. 12-10-2025 Winter is coming and it was, this was a banger banger of an episode.
[00:04:43] Speaker C: This was really was, this was like an all timer dynamite. Let's get out of the way right now.
[00:04:48] Speaker A: Yeah, we, we opened with the historic inaugural crown crowning of the inaugural AEW Women's Tag Team champions as the finals of the tournament. So you have the timeless love love bombs of timeless Tony Storm and Mina Shirakawa versus the Babes of Wrath, Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale.
[00:05:13] Speaker B: The first thing I wrote is I love all these ladies.
Yeah.
They're just for fantastic people.
Yeah.
[00:05:21] Speaker C: This is just like whoever wins, we win.
You know, it's all good.
[00:05:27] Speaker A: I know I, I predicted, I predicted that it was going to be the, was it Marina and Megan Bane as the other side of the finals but like I'm actually kind of glad they went for a face versus face version of this.
[00:05:39] Speaker C: It was refreshing. It was very refreshing.
[00:05:41] Speaker B: That was a good thing about this tournament is like it felt like anybody could have won it. Like may that Jamie and stat like they felt like they were just kind but like any other of those teams seemed very possible to be the first. Even the sisters of Santa.
[00:05:54] Speaker C: I was like no, absolutely.
I, I will say I did not. I didn't think that they were actually going to give it to the babes. Like I, I really it to me the safe booking felt like Tony and Mina but like holy I, I, I guess they just, I, you know and it's one of those things I'd love to know if it changed during the course of the tournament.
Like who, who was gonna end up being being crowned first. Like I like because I Feel like they would almost have to because, like, the babes just got over so hard so fast. Like, everyone was just so happy.
They were. Everyone. I mean, I know I was, but everyone just seemed so happy to see those two.
Yeah. And then they clicked very well. Like, they were just so good.
[00:06:44] Speaker A: So.
[00:06:44] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:06:45] Speaker A: Yeah, I think what I really like. Well, one of the things I like, I like the match a lot. Like, it was a very good match.
[00:06:52] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:06:52] Speaker A: Like, they. They structured a great little match for, you know, that was very important.
And, like, I also, like, I appreciated, like, the very start of it was Mina and Harley doing chain wrestling. Kind of.
[00:07:07] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:07:08] Speaker A: Just like, kind of be like, look, Harley's good now. Like, look how far she's come.
[00:07:13] Speaker C: Yeah, they really. Oh, God.
[00:07:15] Speaker B: Harley had Harley also motorboated Mina during that?
[00:07:19] Speaker C: Yes, a little bit.
[00:07:22] Speaker A: Commentary then pointed out that Excalibur claimed that Brian Danielson did to him in a match 20 years ago at a Ukrainian hall in Detroit. Yeah, and that probably did happen.
[00:07:34] Speaker C: I was gonna say that's, like, true story.
[00:07:37] Speaker B: Yeah, Like, I feel like that's been. They said that on commentary at some point before that. I always forget. Excalibur was a wrestler. Like, it. He wasn't for long, but, like, I.
[00:07:47] Speaker A: Don'T know when he actually retired. I remember watching him quite a bit in, like, PWG.
[00:07:52] Speaker B: I thought he was only around, like, the early 2000s when he hurt his leg. I mean, like, five years or something, you know, not. Not like a 20. He was a wrestler for a while. Not like a month, but, like, it was long enough ago.
I associate him more with being an announcer for so long that, like, him being a wrestler still kind of slips out of my mind.
[00:08:09] Speaker C: I mention it how great it would be if he was a wrestler for a month and just kept the mask for the rest of his career. That would rule.
[00:08:18] Speaker A: I.
[00:08:19] Speaker B: Would I. Oh, yeah. No. If I do one match, I'm always wearing the mask after. That's gonna be the rest of my life.
[00:08:25] Speaker C: Oh, hell, yeah.
[00:08:27] Speaker A: Match keeps going. Crowd pops huge for when Willow and Tony square off, which, yeah, I think that's a match that has not happened yet.
[00:08:37] Speaker B: If it has, it wasn't, like, a substantial one. I don't like, maybe early on, I was this whole show, this crowd ruled.
[00:08:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:08:46] Speaker C: Yeah. That's the other thing. They were on it. They were on it.
[00:08:50] Speaker A: Apparently it's been a while since Atlanta had a big show from AEW and they were. People were ready for it.
[00:08:56] Speaker B: I feel like in the last few shows, there's been some, like, quietness during women's matches and stuff from the CR and like these everyone. They turned out for it.
[00:09:05] Speaker C: What was that the one show they had in Florida recently that was. Or. Or was it Jersey? It was Jersey. The crowd just sucked. We're there. Wedding Toni Storm. And I'm like, you stop. Stop wanting my wife. What are you doing?
How dare you?
[00:09:23] Speaker B: You're not. What time was Tony Store wedding does sound like a euphemism.
[00:09:30] Speaker C: So why are you wanting my wife?
[00:09:34] Speaker B: Warming at the door.
[00:09:37] Speaker C: How dare you?
[00:09:38] Speaker B: You can also say to Juice Robinson, sorry.
[00:09:41] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Why are you wanting my wife?
[00:09:47] Speaker A: Another. Another. Another good thing about this match is that both teams got a lot of double team in lots.
[00:09:54] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:09:55] Speaker A: Just to. Just to kind of show like, yes, the tag team division's here. You will see double team move. So, like the. The babes did their. Their wheelbarrow press gimmick.
[00:10:06] Speaker C: I'm just gonna. I'm gonna forever call that the brodido. It's just the Brodino because, yeah, I guess it was the first two people.
[00:10:13] Speaker A: It's a better name for the move than it is the tag team. Oops. I need to get that in. But contractually I have to get that in.
[00:10:21] Speaker C: Fair enough. Fair enough.
[00:10:22] Speaker B: Yeah. They did a good job making both of these teams feel like established teams, even though they were pro. Some of the less, you know, experience out of some of the lineups in the tournament, but, like, they just. The gimmicks mesh so well. And they have both, you know, obviously Tony and Mina have had experience, you know, storyline experience, but they haven't technically been tagging for very long. And same with Arlie and Willow.
[00:10:46] Speaker A: Right.
[00:10:46] Speaker B: They all have matching gear, which helps too.
[00:10:49] Speaker A: I also really liked. And this was also kind of another way for them to show that Harley's progressed and gotten better through the tournament is they didn't. Like, they got a little heat on her in the. And like in the match, but, like, they didn't. She wasn't isolated. Like, they didn't cut the ring off.
It never seemed for an instant. Yeah, you know, we're gonna like. I guess that kind of comes from it being like a face versus face team match where, like, they don't necessarily need that.
[00:11:18] Speaker B: Yeah, there wasn't so much of like the cutoffs and like the FTR stuff that like a heel tag team. But no, you're right, they did. I mean, like, when Willow got that kind of hot tag when she first went up against Tony, that was like the most consistent Offense. They were getting on Harley. She looked like a force throughout this and she did not. Nothing looked clumsy. She hit every move good. Like.
[00:11:39] Speaker C: Yeah. All the way to the.
The finish. The finishing sequence. Like, she kicked that off and it was beautiful.
[00:11:47] Speaker B: Getting.
[00:11:47] Speaker C: Getting out of it. Like, get like she's about to get dropped and then reversed it into her finishing move and then like, rolls over and tags in Willow to. To powerbomb the out of her.
That was like Chef's kiss.
It was very well done.
[00:12:07] Speaker A: That was a hot finish.
I do. I do want to shout out Nina.
I want to shout out Mina for having, like, one of the coolest looking spots in the whole match is when she was setting Harley up for the figure four.
[00:12:22] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.
[00:12:23] Speaker A: So she had the leg locked and she was still standing. And then she catches Willow with the ddt so she like, torques the knee as she goes down and ddt.
[00:12:33] Speaker C: That's such a good bit.
[00:12:35] Speaker B: Love that spot.
[00:12:36] Speaker A: And then she got back up and put the figure four on Harley. The rest away.
[00:12:39] Speaker B: Like that. That was cool.
[00:12:41] Speaker A: That was really cool, wasn't that? That's.
[00:12:43] Speaker B: Then they did the, like, double. They did that, like, double submission spot too. Where then like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Willow gets Tony in a submission or vice versa. And then they're all just hitting each other on the ground. I was like, that was cool as.
[00:12:59] Speaker C: Hey, what a match. Goddamn y. And yeah, I did not see. I did not necessarily see this going this way, but I'm happy it did because Babes of Wrath are the first tag team women's champions.
Let's go.
[00:13:16] Speaker A: Congrats to them.
[00:13:16] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:13:17] Speaker A: I can't wait to see what they do with it.
[00:13:18] Speaker B: And I saw a very positive reception. Like, everybody on social media was so happy about it. Like, you just got Raptor.
[00:13:28] Speaker C: Yeah, it's hard. Like, I really think it would have been difficult to have been upset with any outcome here. Like, it would have been either way.
[00:13:36] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:13:37] Speaker C: Yeah. Like, he really did just go, like, nah, man. Like, both these people. All. Or both these teams, I should say. Like all four of these people. Who. Whoever does it. Let's go.
Yeah. No, he. He booked like, Tony, you booked yourself a all win situation. Congratulations.
[00:13:52] Speaker A: I mean, yeah, there's. There's some.
There's some what if. Like, what if Penelope Ford didn't get hurt and. Yeah, because I think they were the odds on favorites to start.
[00:14:04] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:14:06] Speaker A: But you never know.
[00:14:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:14:09] Speaker A: Renee comes out to interview the new champs.
Willow puts over Harley really strong. Says, you know, the. Harley had her second ever match against her on. Aw. Dark years and years ago, they get pyro. Everybody's happy for him.
[00:14:26] Speaker B: At some point, Carly got her mouth busted open too. Like.
[00:14:30] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:14:31] Speaker B: Editors just got, like, blood coming out, which looked kind of, like, sick because she just looks, like, so happy, and she's just got these bloody ass teeth.
[00:14:38] Speaker C: Will's like, it's not just lipstick, folks.
[00:14:41] Speaker A: I was looking at that. It's like, did she apply. Did her. Did her lipstick get. Did she, like, put more on in between the front. The end of the match? The pro. It's like, no. Oh, that's blood. Okay.
[00:14:54] Speaker B: Yeah, they did, like, a double headbutt spot near the end, too, like, right before the finish. And I'm wondering if maybe she just actually got caught in the lip a little or something.
[00:15:01] Speaker C: Yeah, probably.
[00:15:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:15:03] Speaker C: Like, too easy to cut your lip.
[00:15:06] Speaker B: It didn't look bad. It just. Just hit the. Hit the tooth on the lip or something.
[00:15:10] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
Like, it clearly wasn't a lot of blood because.
[00:15:15] Speaker B: No, she was fine.
[00:15:16] Speaker A: The ref didn't put on their Instagram cooking the gloves.
[00:15:20] Speaker B: Yeah. Nobody even really noticed till it was over.
[00:15:23] Speaker A: All right, so then the. It seems like the timeless love bombs are going to interrupt, but they just shake hands, congratulate each other, everybody hugs. It's a nice moment. It's really cool.
[00:15:32] Speaker B: Sportsmanship. Sportsmanship. Sportsmanship.
[00:15:35] Speaker A: Sportsmanship.
[00:15:36] Speaker B: Yeah. No, it was great. That's exactly what they should have done. They shouldn't have had it happen.
Yep. This is a celebration of all these women in this division.
[00:15:44] Speaker A: You can talk about whether it should have been on the paper, the final should have been on the pay per view, or if this should have been the main event.
I think opening the show with it was probably the better call.
[00:15:56] Speaker B: Set a very positive tone for the show to come, too. It was like, okay, this is gonna be a happy show. I love these.
[00:16:02] Speaker A: And, like, especially everything else that was gonna come later on in the show. You don't want the crowd tired out for a match that important.
Yeah.
[00:16:11] Speaker B: And that's it. This didn't overstay its welcome either. It was. It was not like a super long match, but it, like, moved along well. It was exciting. It was fun. Yeah. Definitely the right result.
Yep.
[00:16:21] Speaker A: Moving on. We go to the back. The Ops are having a promo. Mostly just Samoa Joe having a promo. And so he's like, congratulations to Eddie. Time has come.
And he says, you wanted the real smell of Joe, but this has always been the real Samoa Joe. This is him.
And he'll show Eddie the reality of what this industry really is.
Is.
[00:16:45] Speaker B: I've always been a dick. Yeah.
[00:16:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
It's kind of true. Like, if you.
[00:16:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:16:52] Speaker A: If you remember his Ring of Honor run, he was a.
[00:16:57] Speaker B: Even in. Like, even when he's. Most places, he's at least like a bully face. Like, he's not exactly a nice character in a lot of stuff. Even when he just gets really over. Because he's really good, but he's still. Usually. It's like, pretty shitty to people.
[00:17:12] Speaker C: Yeah, even. No, even when he's a face. He's a dick. Absolutely.
[00:17:16] Speaker A: Because his whole thing is like, I'm. Yeah, I'm confident. I'm gonna. You up. If you're gonna beat me me up.
[00:17:23] Speaker B: I'm one of the best in the world, and I can back it up.
[00:17:26] Speaker C: Yeah. I'm Joe. I'm gonna kill you. Hi, I'm Joe.
[00:17:28] Speaker B: Literally, he is Samoa Joe. He is a legend of the.
[00:17:32] Speaker A: This industry, this thing that we do. All right, we go to another promo with John.
This is how I talk.
[00:17:43] Speaker C: What are you talking about?
Netflix.
Sorry, Mox.
[00:17:51] Speaker A: John Mox. I. I started it. John Moxley has a promo.
[00:17:55] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:17:56] Speaker A: And he talks about how he feels alive when his back against against the wall because he's taken two losses in the C2 tournament already.
But he's also proven that as long as he's got, there's time, he's got a chance.
[00:18:10] Speaker B: And he did beat up a luchador. I mean, that's.
[00:18:12] Speaker A: He did. He beat up a luchador?
[00:18:14] Speaker C: He did.
[00:18:15] Speaker A: If you. If you don't. If you don't work in the. In the Death Riders don't eat, and they're all the hungriest individuals. And then.
[00:18:24] Speaker B: So does that mean none of them work? If they're all hungry? He says they're not. You eat if you work. If they're hungry, that means they're not eating, which should mean they're.
[00:18:31] Speaker A: Well, they're probably like. I don't know what the. What's the word for it is.
[00:18:35] Speaker B: I caught you in a C, John. He's mixing. Well, they're all.
[00:18:38] Speaker C: They're. They're all working. I tell you that this wrestling.
[00:18:42] Speaker B: They're all working.
[00:18:42] Speaker C: They're workers.
[00:18:43] Speaker B: So why are they hungry if they're working?
[00:18:45] Speaker A: They're eating because it burns a lot of calories.
[00:18:49] Speaker B: Ex. Moxley.
[00:18:51] Speaker C: He thinks it's a shoot.
[00:18:53] Speaker A: It sounded cool. I guess it did.
[00:18:56] Speaker B: No, it's just.
[00:18:57] Speaker C: It's not logical.
[00:18:59] Speaker A: And then he gets up and talks about being hungry because. I guess. But he works hard because a lot of Hungry talkingness.
[00:19:06] Speaker C: You skip breakfast.
[00:19:07] Speaker A: Marina doesn't feed the kids.
[00:19:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:19:12] Speaker C: All she has is mother's milk.
[00:19:14] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:19:20] Speaker C: I'm so sorry.
[00:19:21] Speaker A: That's such a weird image. Just out of like, Yuta.
Oh, God.
[00:19:26] Speaker B: I like the idea of, like, Roderick and Marina having yuta and Kyle O'Reilly as their little children that they keep in the house like little feuding brothers.
[00:19:36] Speaker C: Cousin Danny Garcia. Yeah.
[00:19:39] Speaker A: Yes. Garcia says they're going to take what they want.
And commercial come back our for our second match of the Evening is the C2 Gold League match. As Darby's replacement Whitland, Jack Perry takes on the rainmaker, Kazuchiko Okada.
I've noticed. Yes. Whitland jacket might be starting catching on. Yeah.
[00:20:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:20:04] Speaker A: We are going to force this.
[00:20:06] Speaker C: Yeah.
It's taking hold.
[00:20:09] Speaker A: Although he might get a different nickname after this match.
[00:20:12] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:20:13] Speaker B: Old dick fighter. Jack back.
[00:20:17] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:17] Speaker B: This guy. It gets superseded. He quickly becomes known for more than whittling.
He kind of whittle.
Whittled with his teeth.
[00:20:26] Speaker C: He's whittling away with his teeth. Yes.
Went from whittling to biting.
[00:20:33] Speaker A: They. They mentioned that this is Jack's first singles match in over a year, which I don't think is accurate because I know for a fact he wrestled at the Tokyo Dome. And January.
I saw it. It doesn't count. That match took.
[00:20:49] Speaker B: Well, who. Who is it again? I genuinely can't even remember. Who was it again?
[00:20:52] Speaker A: Yuji. He wrestled Suji wrestled Dynasty and it was good.
[00:20:57] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[00:20:58] Speaker B: Yeah, I watched that pay per view, too. I do not remember that.
[00:21:04] Speaker A: Such a long match. I'm just sitting there like, when is this over?
[00:21:08] Speaker B: Oh, my God. God. Feels like a lifetime ago.
[00:21:12] Speaker A: This match was quite good, I thought.
[00:21:15] Speaker C: Yeah, this match pretty hard.
[00:21:17] Speaker B: Whittle and Jack is back.
[00:21:19] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:21:20] Speaker A: Like they introduced the thing.
I don't know if they. I don't. Well, I don't remember if they did it on the other shows, but they have Renee do a little talky bit at the start just to kind of like lay out.
[00:21:30] Speaker B: Yeah, they've done it like once or twice recently. And so really I like it a lot. I think it's a very immersive, like, it's a real sports feel thing too.
[00:21:39] Speaker A: Exactly.
Especially like nobody know. Like, it's a. It's a good thing to do. But like, it also means, like, nobody can say. Like nobody's explaining the story or how it works.
[00:21:51] Speaker B: That's a good point.
[00:21:51] Speaker A: Shut the up. The pretty lady just told you.
[00:21:54] Speaker B: Yeah, the blind lady did it.
[00:21:57] Speaker A: Shut the Up.
[00:21:59] Speaker B: That's a good point. I didn't even think about that.
[00:22:01] Speaker C: She looked amazing tonight too.
[00:22:03] Speaker B: She always does.
[00:22:05] Speaker C: I know, but, you know, like, the.
[00:22:06] Speaker A: Best outfits, like, holy.
[00:22:08] Speaker B: Yeah, like, girl, this podcast loves Renee. Picasso.
[00:22:11] Speaker A: Get it?
Yes.
So Jack.
Jack just runs right at Okada to start, which I loved.
Like, everybody else is hurt.
It was smart. Yeah. But like, everybody else that has wrestled Okada, they. They always try to do, like, little stare down pace back and forth, like. And, yeah, you're not gonna intimidate the guy like that. But. So Jack's just like, I'm just it.
Yeah, he juggled on him and like, like, Don Callis on commentary, even he was like, yeah, that was probably smart.
[00:22:47] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:22:47] Speaker C: Yeah.
He's like, no, I gotta give it to him, you know? No, you wouldn't. I'm glad he was like. He went ankle biting. That's why every time he does, I think he's like, yes.
He just attacked me.
[00:23:03] Speaker A: That really was. Yeah, that really was what it was. Because, like, he. He had Okada off his game until right before the commercial. Because, of course the heel gets control right before commercial. Okada drop kicks him off the top rope and he kills a sound guy, who's probably not a sound guy, he's just a wrestler.
[00:23:20] Speaker B: Yeah, he booked it under to catch him. Like, good on that, dude. He was right there.
[00:23:24] Speaker A: And now Jack's selling the leg, and Okada can kind of start doing things at his pace how he likes slows all the way down to the point where, like, commentary is like, why is it Okada going after the leg? Well, he doesn't have a leg submission, that's why.
[00:23:40] Speaker B: That's true. All he's got is the money clip.
[00:23:42] Speaker A: He's got the money.
[00:23:45] Speaker B: That's. He hardly ever. I don't even know if it's still technically, like, a move of his. He kind of phased that shit out.
[00:23:51] Speaker A: I'm surprised he doesn't do it more.
[00:23:53] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a good heel. He can just, like, do faces and stuff while he's doing it at a camera.
[00:23:58] Speaker A: I. I don't. I don't know what was said beforehand, but Excalibur tells Don that you don't need Tony to bury you. You bury yourself.
I just like them going at Don. All right, so Jack starts. Makes. He. He starts just, like, chop it. He comes out of the corner and he's, like, chopping and hitting Okada. And then he pulls out his hair tie and, like, flings it at his face.
[00:24:22] Speaker B: Like, yeah, he's. That's Sassy.
[00:24:26] Speaker A: He got very sassy.
Yeah.
Comebacker larat somersault from the corner, and he actually gets like a huge German suplex on.
[00:24:36] Speaker B: I really like that because he kind of missed the somersault over. He, like, kind of landed to the side and it looked like he was just like, oh. And then grabbed Okada and nailed that huge drew. And look, he recovered it very, very well.
[00:24:49] Speaker A: Okada fights back. Gets his little air raid crash. Neck breaker. He gets his elbow drops. He does the maker pose.
That's what I've been calling it. I don't know what it is called, but, like.
[00:25:03] Speaker C: No, that's what it's called now that. No, that's it. It's the Maker.
[00:25:07] Speaker A: The maker.
[00:25:08] Speaker C: I've been called internally in my head, I've been calling him the maker in this. He'll run because he's. Every time he does. Yeah.
So, no, that works. We're aligned. We're on the same level. Erica, this is fantastic.
Great minds thinking, like, anyways.
[00:25:26] Speaker A: Oh, God. Like, so it kind of turns into like a regular Okada match at this point because, like, it's time for the rainmaker count of the rainmaker. So jackets gets a poison. Rana after getting out of a rainmaker.
[00:25:40] Speaker C: It was a stick on.
[00:25:41] Speaker A: He gets. I guess it's not the busaiku knee, but it's kind of like the busaiku.
[00:25:46] Speaker B: Yeah, it's just a. It's. It's not called anything.
[00:25:48] Speaker C: I know.
[00:25:48] Speaker B: It's just like. It's a. It's a boot. Psychish.
[00:25:51] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a little.
[00:25:53] Speaker B: There's.
[00:25:56] Speaker A: Here's where. Here's where the match actually goes off the rails.
So he puts. Jack tries to get the snare trap on Okada, but Okada just literally bites him on the arm.
[00:26:10] Speaker B: Like, full chomp biting on this episode in general.
[00:26:16] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:26:17] Speaker C: And, yeah, apparently next year's C2 is gonna have to have anti biting rules.
[00:26:23] Speaker A: I think it's gonna have to because.
[00:26:24] Speaker B: Everybody wears a muzzle.
[00:26:26] Speaker A: What happens next is something that I can't believe I saw.
[00:26:32] Speaker B: Genuinely shocked.
You know how.
[00:26:35] Speaker C: All right, but wait, like, hold on, hold on, hold on. You know how, like, this is like.
Like the mandible claw.
Everyone's like, why won't you just bite the fingers? And you know what?
Every time someone sets a guy up for a tombstone, part of me can't help but wonder, you know, why don't you just do what Jack did?
[00:27:00] Speaker B: Well.
[00:27:03] Speaker A: So what? It's time to discuss what Jack did.
[00:27:06] Speaker C: Jack.
[00:27:07] Speaker A: What?
[00:27:07] Speaker C: We need that. We need to talk about Jack.
[00:27:09] Speaker A: Yeah, you got to talk about Jack. And given the nature of this podcast, we're definitely going to talk about this.
Okada gets Jack Perry, Jungle Jack, Luke Perry's son for a tombstone pile driver.
And then jungle Boy Jack Perry, again, Luke Perry's son, which is like a thing I like to emphasize now when I tell people about this.
[00:27:38] Speaker B: A Hollywood.
[00:27:39] Speaker A: He bites Kazucho Okada on the dick.
[00:27:46] Speaker B: Yeah, he did 50 post in a row that just were like. Did he just bite his dick? Like, he bought.
[00:27:56] Speaker A: He bought. He bit. He bit the dick.
[00:27:59] Speaker B: He bited his.
[00:28:00] Speaker C: I hope he probably put. He could put a ring on it.
[00:28:03] Speaker A: The following is Don Callis being rightfully outraged because that's against the. Has to be against the rules. He's like, that is absurd.
Has to be the baby faces of commentary all just going, what a great counter.
[00:28:29] Speaker C: Why wouldn't. Why. I mean, why wouldn't you do that? You think it's a great way to get out.
I feel like it's not technically a low blow.
[00:28:36] Speaker B: The difference between that and the mandible claws. The mandible claws in there already.
Jungle Jack had to snatch at it like a. Like a turtle going after a fish. Like, yeah.
[00:28:56] Speaker A: We bit him in the dick. I've never seen that.
I've seen a ton of wrestling. I have not seen. I've seen dancers.
I've never seen anybody, like, putting a. In their mouth.
[00:29:16] Speaker C: Really is.
[00:29:18] Speaker A: It is.
[00:29:19] Speaker C: I'm just so happy. And I love wrestling.
[00:29:21] Speaker A: It's definitely against the rules, but it was intelligent. And nobody. Nobody's gonna. That's. Here's the thing. Nobody's gonna want to tombstone Jack Perry ever again.
[00:29:31] Speaker B: You just want to eat lunch with Jack Perry ever again.
You're the guy who bites. Get out of.
Hang out with your dinosaur.
[00:29:42] Speaker A: So after the. The genital biting.
[00:29:46] Speaker B: We really could. I mean, that was the high point of the show.
[00:29:48] Speaker A: That was the high point. Well, the finish was kind of nice. So he. No, he gets a snare trap in. I wish actually the dick biting had been the finish. But whatever. He gets the snare trap in.
[00:30:01] Speaker B: Submits.
Usually.
[00:30:04] Speaker C: It's usually the finish for me. Hey.
[00:30:07] Speaker A: Hey.
[00:30:08] Speaker C: Sorry.
[00:30:09] Speaker A: No, I am sorry.
[00:30:13] Speaker B: They.
[00:30:13] Speaker A: They do, like, eventually.
Rainmaker. 1, 2, 3.
[00:30:22] Speaker C: That's it.
[00:30:22] Speaker A: Like, nothing else really matters.
[00:30:25] Speaker C: Yeah, we can't think about anything else, man. Like, even if the whole crowd's like, yeah, no, there's a match going up, but you just bit his dick.
Okay.
[00:30:40] Speaker A: So despite.
Despite that, actually, probably because of the dick biting, Don Cass comes in the ring post match the rest of the family comes in post match and he, he's says Jack, I'm gonna give you credit. That was impressive.
[00:30:55] Speaker C: Yeah.
Hasn't seen someone just. I still got a lot of dick.
[00:31:03] Speaker B: Biting and that's the best dick biting I've ever seen.
[00:31:06] Speaker C: Yeah, like I'm Doc Callous, I've seen people bite a lot.
[00:31:09] Speaker A: I'm Dick S.L. jones and I approve of this technique.
[00:31:12] Speaker B: I'm an expert.
[00:31:14] Speaker A: So he, he invites Jack to join the rest of the Doncaster comes out and he invites Jack to join the Don Callis family and to sweeten the pot he will give them him a signing bonus of the money that he won with the young bucks at whatever that last pay per view was.
[00:31:33] Speaker C: Some of it.
[00:31:34] Speaker A: And there's some, there's some like back and forth and he's thinking, he pretends. But then Jack grabs the mic and announces, you know what? Oh yeah, well first off, Don reminds him there's seven guys here in the ring. You can't buy all of us.
[00:31:50] Speaker C: Oh yeah, no, this was an offer. This is supposed to be an offer.
[00:31:52] Speaker B: You can't bite all our games.
[00:31:54] Speaker C: Yeah. You can't buy all of our TikTok.
[00:31:58] Speaker A: But Jungle Jack the hungry young wrestler says for the second time tonight he's going to bite off more than he can chew.
And he just starts swinging.
[00:32:16] Speaker C: I'm gonna bite all the days which.
[00:32:19] Speaker A: As I saw someone notice note I saw someone note that means Okada is hung and Jack almost couldn't get.
[00:32:28] Speaker C: I was just gonna say that too. So now I got. Now I have to know that the rest of my.
[00:32:34] Speaker A: Now we know why they call him the Riker.
Because of all the jism.
[00:32:40] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.
[00:32:40] Speaker B: I was gna say.
[00:32:43] Speaker C: It'S the sex juices.
[00:32:46] Speaker A: Hower.
[00:32:48] Speaker C: Oh God. We're never going to get monetized on YouTube. Jesus Christ.
[00:32:52] Speaker A: I hope not. I mean. Well, it's gonna be very long series.
[00:32:56] Speaker B: Of ring bells going like three minutes.
[00:32:59] Speaker A: It's not even that bad.
[00:33:01] Speaker B: No, no, people talk about them on the Internet all right.
[00:33:05] Speaker A: Nobody talks about that on the Internet ever.
They're beating the out of Jack Perry and Luchasaurus comes out and. But he does not enter the ring.
They kind of like, you know, go to the side of the ring. They're just like, hey off, go away, we'll beat you up. But then the young bucks seek up from behind with chairs. They clear the ring.
Luchasaurus comes in, starts choke slamming people.
Okada eats bte trigger bucks have finally.
[00:33:35] Speaker B: Fully turned against Okada now.
[00:33:37] Speaker A: Yeah, they Are they try to super kick Don Catless, but Takeshita but eats the bullet for him in that situation.
[00:33:48] Speaker B: Which was wild, not getting out of the show without taking a bump. Come on.
[00:33:52] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:33:53] Speaker B: Rocky got choke slammed. You're getting kicked.
[00:33:55] Speaker C: I wonder who's gonna keep Don in the divorce. Who's gonna keep Don Callis in the divorce?
Because, like, Soup just took a bullet for him.
Interesting. Sorry, this is completely off topic. It's just juicy.
[00:34:14] Speaker A: Anyway, the bucks, the suitcase full of cash. Because the smart thing to do when you have a million dollars is just carry it around in a duffel bag. I've learned that for movies.
[00:34:25] Speaker B: Yeah. People have like, accounts like. Yeah, I don't ever see my money's on my phone. I don't see money, like, ever.
[00:34:33] Speaker A: Catchy. Sarah is like the bank, I guess.
[00:34:36] Speaker B: The banker in monopolies.
[00:34:39] Speaker A: Actually, Sarah is the keeper of the bag.
[00:34:43] Speaker B: I would trust Hachisero with all my money out of anybody.
[00:34:47] Speaker C: I don't know. I mean, they are. They are professional wrestlers. They're probably just like, you know, if we keep it cash, the government doesn't got to know about it.
[00:34:55] Speaker B: He is an alchemist.
[00:34:56] Speaker A: He's an alchemist.
Cash into gold by just buying the gold.
[00:35:02] Speaker C: Turn your cash into laundered cash.
[00:35:05] Speaker A: This is a terrible investment. Have you seen the. I don't actually know what the gold market's like anyway. Luchasaurus eats some of the money.
[00:35:13] Speaker B: You thought it was.
[00:35:14] Speaker A: Leaves an incredible segment to say the least. Mostly because of good stuff.
[00:35:21] Speaker B: It was a good match too. I mean, it was even beyond the fighting. I mean, that obviously was like the big moment of it and like what everybody talked about.
[00:35:31] Speaker C: The surprise cherry on top of an already great match.
[00:35:35] Speaker B: I love that we've talked about before. Jack Perry is so much better in a face roll and doing like face offense. Like, it just feels right.
[00:35:44] Speaker C: And he's also very much a better wrestler now.
I feel like, like, I feel like he is also one of those people.
He was always pretty good, but he's gotten very good.
[00:35:55] Speaker B: He was good, but then they. Then they made him a heel and they really like restricted what he did. And like you, he's. He excels at like high flying, like, popping offense. He's a PWG SoCal guy. Like, he's basically always a track.
Yeah, he just was a heel for a long time and it had mixed results. And now. Yeah.
[00:36:14] Speaker C: Jesus Christ. He has been. He like. He's been a heel for heal for.
[00:36:19] Speaker B: Two years or some. Yeah. Holy.
[00:36:21] Speaker C: That's a long he run.
[00:36:22] Speaker B: Don't quote me on that. Time's fluid when you're this dumb. Like.
[00:36:27] Speaker C: Oh, it. Well, because it was all.
[00:36:31] Speaker B: Cereal.
Yeah. No, no, I think it was about a year. He was probably the scapegoat.
[00:36:37] Speaker A: It was about a year because he. Most of this year.
[00:36:39] Speaker B: Yeah. Because he was in Japan for a bit. He was.
[00:36:43] Speaker A: Oh, no. Because he was. He was a heel at all in. Oh, no, no, I'm forgetting time. Never mind. It doesn't matter.
[00:36:51] Speaker B: Yo. See? Yeah. It's all fake.
[00:36:54] Speaker C: It's all fake anyways. Except the glass. The glass is real.
[00:37:02] Speaker A: Conglomeration are celebrating with the babes of wrath. They're having fun. Yeah.
[00:37:07] Speaker B: Well, except Roger Rowdy is standing there with his arms crossed.
[00:37:13] Speaker A: Rod is going through it in the C2. So, like, I kind of don't. Yeah, like, he's also always.
[00:37:17] Speaker B: He's the only. I think he's the only person who's like, Owen, too.
[00:37:21] Speaker A: He's also very disapproving of conglomerations antics. Is like, oh, you kids, you have whimsy.
[00:37:30] Speaker B: You.
[00:37:32] Speaker C: How dare you.
I break backs. Stop it with your whimsy.
[00:37:37] Speaker B: We love them, though.
[00:37:39] Speaker A: And the timeless love bombs. Come join the celebration. Which I thought was kind of weird. I don't necessarily think they should do.
[00:37:45] Speaker B: That, but I was okay with that.
For some reason.
Dorada is there also.
[00:37:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:37:52] Speaker B: Yes.
He's not on the show. He didn't have a match. He's just like, hey, these people look like they're having fun.
[00:38:00] Speaker C: I thought that was adorable.
[00:38:04] Speaker B: It was, though. It was great.
[00:38:05] Speaker C: I was really happy with that.
And I'm always going to be happy with people conglomerating. That's the joy of the conglomeration. I. I like it when.
I like it when all the faces are faces together and all the heels are heels together.
[00:38:21] Speaker B: Ish.
[00:38:24] Speaker C: Like, I kind of. I like that.
[00:38:26] Speaker B: I feel like that this wasn't a promo or anything. This was just people. They just was them celebrating. This wasn't a segment or a story. Right. Like, hey, let's just show you these people being happy about a good thing.
[00:38:35] Speaker C: Yeah. It just. It's just like, hey, we're in the bag.
[00:38:38] Speaker A: It was like. It was like a minute long time.
[00:38:41] Speaker C: Yeah, it was. It felt natural. It.
[00:38:44] Speaker B: And.
[00:38:44] Speaker C: And Dorada being there for no reason at all and also being like, why am I here? Made it feel more natural.
[00:38:55] Speaker B: I'm not hologram. Like, what am I doing here?
[00:38:57] Speaker C: What am I doing here?
[00:39:00] Speaker A: Moving on. They give us a video package of Mercedes Monet having a bad week after losing The Ring of Honor TV title at Final Battle.
[00:39:10] Speaker B: Spiraling.
[00:39:12] Speaker A: She's starting to spiral.
[00:39:13] Speaker C: Don't put in the paper. And she's mad.
[00:39:15] Speaker B: That was a great match too.
[00:39:17] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:39:18] Speaker A: I have not seen Final Battle yet, but like, I have not.
[00:39:22] Speaker B: Good. Yeah, I enjoyed it.
What's his name? Oh, my God. Nigel versus Lee Moriarty in the 30 minute iron match. One of my favorite matches of the year.
[00:39:32] Speaker C: Oh, isn't it? That isn't their rubber match too.
[00:39:36] Speaker B: It ended with a great. I don't want to say what happens if you do.
[00:39:39] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:39:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:39:39] Speaker C: Okay. I'm gonna probably finish up.
[00:39:42] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:39:43] Speaker A: Probably happened, didn't it? That's pure title rule.
[00:39:46] Speaker B: It was 30 minutes of dick biting one fall. Right at 29.59. 30 minute iron dick match. Go.
Whoever bites the most dicks in 30 minutes wins.
[00:39:59] Speaker C: That's gotta be porn.
[00:40:00] Speaker A: The I porn parody. Just the Iron Dick.
[00:40:04] Speaker B: That could be a DDP match. Could be a iron Heavyweight match. Stipulation.
[00:40:09] Speaker A: Oh, man. That really would have been a DDT match.
[00:40:13] Speaker C: I'm just sitting here going, can we make the title? 30 Minute Iron Dick match.
I feel like dick's better than. I don't know. Anyways, let's go.
[00:40:24] Speaker A: Good job. To Red Velvet.
[00:40:25] Speaker B: Iron member.
[00:40:27] Speaker A: Iron member.
No, the penises.
[00:40:35] Speaker B: Yeah. Mercedes is going crazy though. She's losing her mind. And I'm here for it.
[00:40:38] Speaker A: Mercedes is good.
[00:40:39] Speaker B: She's gonna do some like acting.
[00:40:42] Speaker A: I never want to hear any single person, like, selfish and like booking yourself tonight.
[00:40:48] Speaker B: Like, that's what people don't get about all these people complain like, oh, she's winning all these belts. Now she has to lose all these belts and put people over in all of these. That's the long. She wasn't just gonna have these belts forever if you want them. Yeah. Got attention for these little promotions and now she's going to drop them to people in these little promotions who will have victories over her and make some stars. Like, that's the long game of this gimmick.
[00:41:13] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:41:13] Speaker C: And that's a really awesome long term giveaway. And she's been at this. I mean, it's kept her busy.
[00:41:19] Speaker B: Some lady in Poland's gonna get huge off beating her.
[00:41:22] Speaker C: Yeah. And it's great. And it will just get to get little snippets of her around the world melting the down because she's losing.
[00:41:31] Speaker B: I've watched a bunch of different promotions I wouldn't have watched because Mercedes Monet.
[00:41:35] Speaker C: Matches on and I look forward to seeing the montage of her screaming at people. It'd be like. Because she's totally okay. She's fine.
[00:41:44] Speaker B: And it's a story. It's a good. You get to see her lose it. Like, I hate people on the Internet. Sorry.
[00:41:51] Speaker C: Yeah, I know some of you are listening because we're on the Internet, but.
[00:41:55] Speaker B: I love people on the Internet. Please give us money.
[00:41:57] Speaker C: I love you people on the Internet. It's those other ones, you know, I.
[00:42:01] Speaker A: Hate people on the Internet who pretend that they dislike Mercedes Monet for a lot of reasons when it's very clear it's because she's a woman and she's black.
Anyway.
[00:42:11] Speaker B: Yes, but you could still give us money.
[00:42:14] Speaker A: You can still give us money.
[00:42:16] Speaker C: Yeah, I had specific reasons for disliking Mercedes Mooney, and she's gotten rid of, like, all of them. So, like, we're good now. We're cool.
Yeah, she. She.
[00:42:25] Speaker B: I'm not happy. She took Beast Mortos out of the running for single men.
[00:42:29] Speaker A: Yeah, that. His dick consensually.
[00:42:36] Speaker B: I mean, that happened in an episode of American Horror Story, I think.
[00:42:42] Speaker C: All right, so I'm sorry, where were we? I'm sorry, what?
[00:42:46] Speaker B: There was minotaur sex in that series.
[00:42:48] Speaker C: I remember I went away for a.
[00:42:50] Speaker B: While and the girl who played Precious has sex with a minotaur or something.
[00:42:54] Speaker C: Wait, what?
[00:42:55] Speaker B: What?
[00:42:55] Speaker C: Okay, no, I actually did go away. What the are we talking about? This sounds like a Ryan Murphy product.
It is.
[00:43:03] Speaker B: It's American Horror Story Coven. Yeah, I was thinking about Beast Mordo, so. Yeah.
[00:43:07] Speaker A: Oh, I actually saw some of that. Yeah. That serious.
[00:43:11] Speaker B: Remember that?
[00:43:11] Speaker C: Actually, yeah, that show got really.
[00:43:13] Speaker A: That's about.
[00:43:14] Speaker B: That was like the last season. I kind of really was still in gay. And then after that, it lost me quick.
[00:43:18] Speaker C: Yeah, so quick.
[00:43:20] Speaker B: Little non grab watch that frequento got off it.
[00:43:24] Speaker C: I was like, yeah, non grabs side Tadget. Ryan Murphy.
Him.
Him forever. But, you know, yeah, don't.
[00:43:37] Speaker A: A lot more.
[00:43:38] Speaker B: A lot more bad than good.
Basically, the good is the first season of Scream Queens and that's like it.
[00:43:44] Speaker C: And then everything since then is like, how can I be the worst CIS white gay that has ever existed?
And like, like, anyways, so this.
[00:43:59] Speaker B: This.
[00:44:00] Speaker C: Yes, please move on. This is. I'm on the wrong podcast. This is a rant for Deck of All Graves.
[00:44:04] Speaker A: We are advancing beyond minotaur sex.
[00:44:07] Speaker C: Yes. The Corey, call me.
[00:44:10] Speaker B: Join us on our minotaur sex podcast where we'll go deeper on this.
[00:44:14] Speaker C: Yes, Corrigan. Call me.
Call me. I will get on Jack at all graces. That's what I'm talking about.
Go, go all right.
[00:44:24] Speaker A: Renee is with Eddie Kingston, and she asks him how he's feeling, and he talks about how that night, it's the. The 50th anniversary of Terry Funk's first world title, and he's feeling emotional. He doesn't want to crash out. He's just gonna go get ready for his match.
Joe, you're gonna need to bring everything to put me away short.
[00:44:45] Speaker C: I got emotional.
[00:44:47] Speaker A: You could tell that Eddie's, like, really feeling the moment.
[00:44:50] Speaker B: Yeah, he does. He said something about wanting to go back to bed at one point again, too, because he's a tired.
[00:44:56] Speaker C: Yeah, he's a tired boy. He has my tired bum king. But, yeah, no, that was a great little promo. And I was like, oh, you're losing tonight, but this is good stuff.
Like, this is.
I missed you, babe. Like, I missed my. My good, good violence. Boy, he's so good. I'm so happy he's back.
We'll talk more about him later.
[00:45:23] Speaker A: Tony Schiavone is now in the ring with the mic, and he's going to interview Mark Briscoe.
[00:45:28] Speaker C: Hell yeah. Chicken noise.
[00:45:30] Speaker A: Mark says people were telling him he wasn't going to win the big one.
He won the ring of honor world title, so, you know, whatever. I guess that doesn't count as a big one.
[00:45:38] Speaker B: Yeah, that was a pretty big one.
[00:45:40] Speaker A: That was a pretty big one. That was a great match, too. Tells the dad for a while, too.
Yeah.
Until he lost it to some, I don't know, Canadian.
[00:45:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:45:52] Speaker A: Tells the doubters to kiss his big white ass.
Crowd chance. Big white ass.
[00:45:58] Speaker B: Yeah. Big, big white ass. Chance.
[00:46:01] Speaker C: The commentary.
Commentary. You know why it's big? It's. It's the beans and the cornbread.
[00:46:07] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:46:07] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:46:10] Speaker A: Make a big ass.
[00:46:11] Speaker C: The beans and the cornbread.
That was fantastic.
[00:46:14] Speaker A: Yeah, that's what I'm telling people if they ask me, so. But he's defending his title against Daniel Garcia, and I think it was it next week. Or is it this? Oh, no, is it this?
[00:46:26] Speaker B: It's this. It's Saturday.
It's on collision in England somewhere.
[00:46:31] Speaker C: Cardiff, Wales.
[00:46:32] Speaker B: Yeah, Wales. And then, yeah, they're in Manchester. Then next week for Dynamite.
[00:46:36] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:46:37] Speaker B: Which means, yeah, some British crowds doing crazy singing chants, soccer Chance.
[00:46:48] Speaker A: I know that's gonna happen. Anyway, speaking of that carries on that.
[00:46:53] Speaker B: Show, we're getting dicked by if he's on either of those.
[00:46:55] Speaker C: Oh, why not?
[00:47:01] Speaker A: Speaking of dicks, Wheeler Yuta comes out with Marina and Daniel Garcia, and he's. He's just, like, talking as they walk to the ring. Instantly.
I didn't think about anything like he specifically said. He's just. It's very generic. No, he's just, like. Just talking.
[00:47:18] Speaker B: Yeah. Just like you, this town. I hate you people. Yeah.
I'm Wheeler Yuta. All of you.
[00:47:27] Speaker C: All of you. I'm Wheeler Yuda.
[00:47:30] Speaker A: Do you know who I am? I'll tell you my name. It's Wheeler Yuta. You.
[00:47:35] Speaker B: How else will you know who I am?
[00:47:39] Speaker C: Oh, my beard. Yeah.
[00:47:40] Speaker B: It's been a while since we've had George C. Scott on the show. Yeah.
[00:47:43] Speaker C: Welcome. Welcome, George. Jesus Christ.
[00:47:47] Speaker B: At this point, too, I also noticed in the front row on Hard Cam, there is a man with a very good Sting cosplay. And I kept noticing him throughout the rest of the show. The makeup he had, the hair, and he looked just like Crow Sting.
[00:48:02] Speaker A: He was extreme. He very much did, like, the Sting stare through most of the match night, too.
[00:48:08] Speaker C: Yeah.
But then, like, no, he was in character.
[00:48:13] Speaker A: The next match on. Not the next match, but a couple matches down in the show, he does, like, just character.
[00:48:22] Speaker C: It's hard not to.
[00:48:25] Speaker A: Anyway. Garcia says Briscoe is kind of sad and he'll need to find a way to provide for his family. After Garcia breaks his leg on Saturday, Briscoe says, take your shot, and then punches Garcia. Danielson wants Mark to punch you to.
[00:48:43] Speaker B: Because Mark should really hit Wheeler Yuta, too.
Yeah, he just casually slides that in.
[00:48:49] Speaker A: The Death Riders hold Danny back, and they leave.
It was a segment. It was fine.
[00:48:55] Speaker B: I kind of liked it in its simplicity. It was just. Yeah, two dudes talking at each other, just being like, yeah, we're gonna have a match. You know, like, they've.
[00:49:02] Speaker A: They've been giving some build to this match. It's been, like, a couple weeks in the making at this point, so I guess just only a week. I don't remember when the preview was.
All right, we're cutting straight to the back as the triangle of Madness are killing some jobbers.
Yeah, they're just beating the out of ladies. They. Yeah, they did this on Collision as well.
[00:49:26] Speaker B: Yeah, no, they've just been thrashing people.
[00:49:29] Speaker A: They're pissed off about Jamie Hayter and Kris Statlander. This time, Statlander shows up and runs him off with a chair.
Cool.
Not bad.
[00:49:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:49:39] Speaker C: Oh, and she. She really like that. I loved this whole bit stack. Just like, cleaning house and just making them scatter and then be like, what? I thought you wanted to fight, like, while holding the steel chair. And I was just like, I love, love. I love her so much.
[00:49:56] Speaker B: Because they're doing. It's gonna be Jamie and Stavers Sister versus Sisters of Sin. I believe on one of these shows coming up in the England area, it's.
[00:50:06] Speaker A: Either this Saturday or next week.
[00:50:08] Speaker B: I think it's Saturday.
Yeah. I can't remember.
[00:50:11] Speaker A: But you get the feeling that we're gonna be heading towards a Tecla Statlander title match at the pay per view.
[00:50:21] Speaker C: Yep.
[00:50:22] Speaker A: That's. Yeah, I'm all about.
[00:50:24] Speaker B: Oh yeah, I know. Hell, I said I honestly wouldn't even mind if Tecla won. I love. Thank you. Yeah, yeah.
[00:50:33] Speaker C: You took the words right out of my mouth.
[00:50:35] Speaker B: Yeah.
Keeping them in mind now. My words.
[00:50:38] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:50:39] Speaker C: My words. So sneaky.
[00:50:43] Speaker A: If you. Man, I forgot actually. I actually entirely forgot that such was on the show just now until I read.
But like this match was.
[00:50:52] Speaker B: It's genuinely crazy that this is still. This is the low point of the show, like, and it's still really good.
[00:51:00] Speaker A: So we have a Tornado tag team match as the Ops, Katsuya Shibata and Powerhouse Hobbs are battling the first time team of Hangman, Adam Page and Swerve Strickland.
[00:51:11] Speaker C: That's right. This is the low point of the show and it so hard I forgot about it.
[00:51:17] Speaker B: And it's also like, it's a testament to how much good stuff's going on. That like the first time Hangman and Swerve are teaming together is like pretty kind of forgettable in the long, you know. Yeah. Everything else going on I don't know.
[00:51:31] Speaker A: About.
[00:51:34] Speaker B: This is so much other good stuff going on that this, this not being like the thing is kind of crazy.
[00:51:40] Speaker A: I would call this a cooldown match because it was like. It's just easy to watch because. All right, so here's what happened. The Ops come out with their Foot Clan Moocs, Swinger. Swinging Swinger and then.
[00:51:54] Speaker C: Hey, it's a dick heavy episode, kids.
[00:51:58] Speaker A: Boy, is it? Apparently it really is.
There.
The. The Mooks are in the ring with the named characters who have actually like a couple health bars.
[00:52:11] Speaker B: No, I like it. In my notes I refer to them only as the Mooks. Like that is the word after them. Swerve kills the Mooks with chains and a staple gun is what I have right now.
[00:52:22] Speaker A: Seriously, if you think about it, it's like final fight or something. So like these guys all have like tiny little health bars. But then Shabbat and Hobbs.
[00:52:31] Speaker B: Exactly.
[00:52:32] Speaker A: Have a couple of health bars. Like you got to go through like you got to turn it purple to yellow to green. Yeah.
[00:52:38] Speaker B: Oh yeah. It is a side. They're side scrollers of dudes. Yeah.
[00:52:41] Speaker C: I refuse to. To actually call you a dojo. You are goons. You are. You are henchmen. That is all you are. You are, in fact, moocs.
[00:52:50] Speaker B: And there was never a dojo before this. You can't just have a bunch of dudes and call the dojo. A dojo needs to be a place, and, like, things that happen, you can't just be like, hey, these are, like, five dudes I hired. This is my dojo.
[00:53:03] Speaker C: Do you have the insurance? Like, I've. I've seen Cobra Kai. Like, you know, like, there's a lot that goes into this. You gotta get a space in Rancho Cucamonga. Like, I suppose you could talk to.
[00:53:14] Speaker B: The Bucks, but now if they would do some backstage segments of Taz wearing karate outfits, training these dudes, I would buy it. Then I would be fine with the dojo term. Just give me, like, three short video packages of taz, like, insulting them, and. And I'm 100 on board. The gods are.
[00:53:33] Speaker A: Yeah, that's. That's what a dojo is.
[00:53:35] Speaker B: Yeah. It's just as yelling at you.
[00:53:38] Speaker C: Yeah. Until then, you are.
You are goons and jabronis. This is what you are.
[00:53:43] Speaker A: Until they're the Foot Clan. That's what they are.
[00:53:47] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:53:47] Speaker C: Your Foot Clan.
[00:53:48] Speaker B: We.
[00:53:48] Speaker A: We've been over this. Yes. I'm not letting this go.
Anyway, so, yeah, the faces are just kind of out in the crowd. They've got chains. Swerve has a staple gun.
The Mooks are sent out to their deaths, and they're all horribly.
Before Shabata and Hobbes get to them.
[00:54:09] Speaker B: I like that. Swerve's, like, signature weapon is the stable gun, too. That's pretty, right?
Like, yeah, like, he established it. I can't remember. It was one of the Hangman matches where he took the staple gun and he stapled his own chest with it to just be like, ah, you. And I was like, yeah, that's amazing.
[00:54:26] Speaker A: Yeah. And then there was one. One of the matches, Hangman stabled, like, family photos to Swerve's chest, too.
Yeah, that's hot.
[00:54:36] Speaker B: I love pro wrestling so much.
[00:54:39] Speaker C: At this point, though, I. I just. I leaned over to Joe and I said, hey, I think you might be. I think you might just be feeding Mooks to the Swerve. And. And then Hook started crying.
[00:54:52] Speaker B: Sorry.
[00:54:54] Speaker C: I'm sorry.
I had to get it out.
[00:54:57] Speaker B: Thank you.
[00:55:02] Speaker C: Like, oh, no.
One more. All right, we're done with Mooc Dog.
[00:55:06] Speaker B: All right, so that's the other.
[00:55:09] Speaker A: Podcast commentary continually emphasizes that the match has not started. This is not a false cat anywhere match.
[00:55:17] Speaker B: They really went gung ho on this.
[00:55:19] Speaker A: It's a tornado match, but it's not falls, it's not hardcore, but, like, they're just brawling up in the crowd.
Hangman throws a Christmas tree at Hobbs.
[00:55:29] Speaker B: Tornado tag matches were no dq. Like.
[00:55:31] Speaker A: Yeah, I always just feel like.
[00:55:34] Speaker B: Yeah, like, I don't know. They really. That became like, a story part of this when I always felt like that was ever a thing before.
Sorry.
[00:55:42] Speaker A: Yeah, he throws it. He throws a Christmas tree.
Adam at Hobbs and then has a beer.
[00:55:53] Speaker B: Yeah, it's Hangman. He loves plants.
[00:55:55] Speaker C: Yeah, this is true. Yeah, yeah, fair enough.
[00:55:58] Speaker B: Freezes weapons, leaves his plants.
[00:56:00] Speaker A: I'm pretty sure it was an artificial tree.
[00:56:02] Speaker C: Hey, he grew that. He grew those trees, okay. He grew those trees himself.
[00:56:07] Speaker A: Fair enough.
[00:56:08] Speaker B: I also like that the bartender that gave Hagman the beer first gave him, like, a really big high five. Like. Yeah, that was sick, man. He's like, oh, yeah, that was cool.
[00:56:16] Speaker A: Let me go reach behind here for one of the prop beers.
[00:56:21] Speaker C: This one's N A. You're still on the job, buddy.
[00:56:24] Speaker B: I make a scale for this, right? Okay.
[00:56:27] Speaker A: They're still. Yeah, so they're. They're fighting in the crowd and in the stands and at the concession stand, and there's a lot of plunder. There's a chair involved.
Shibata's kicking Swerve. Swerves kicking Shibata.
They.
Yeah, they eventually get down to the ring after Shabbat has been. Shibata takes out Swerve on the outside, and they get Hangman in the ring by himself, and they're kind of beating the out of them. They mentioned that he's wearing the same boots from the cage match, so they've got Samoa Joe's blood on them, which is kind of gross but kind of cool too.
[00:57:05] Speaker B: Like, oh, boy. Bob Orton special.
[00:57:08] Speaker A: Yep.
Hobbs hits that really cool, like, round the world power slam. It's not quite Tour of the Islands, but it's pretty close.
[00:57:16] Speaker B: No, it looks really good, though.
[00:57:18] Speaker A: Swerve comes back, runs wild on Shabata, but Hobbs breaks up the house call.
Shibata avoids the buckshot, punches Hangman in the dick, gets Hangman and across, tries to get him in the. The Fujiwara, not the Fuji cross. Arm breaker on the ground.
[00:57:36] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:57:36] Speaker A: And then Swerve just flies off the top with the Swerve stomp to break it up.
[00:57:41] Speaker C: Yeah, that was a very cool spot.
[00:57:44] Speaker A: Then they start doing a little bit of coordinated offense so like they both elbow smash Hobbs and then Hanger hits the Fallaway Slam 450.
[00:57:56] Speaker C: Oh yeah, that the whole sequence was so hot.
[00:58:01] Speaker A: And then he Hangman does his kip up swerve rolls through and hits a flatliner on Hobbs. And then they just like get face to face and they're just staring at each other and like you could.
Blue sky creamed itself all collectively at once.
[00:58:18] Speaker C: Oh my God. I, I again, I, I gotta start writing these down because I feel bad, but shout out to whoever said this on Blue sky, when these two kiss, we're all gonna, we're gonna die.
We are all just gonna die. And I, I kind of need it to happen.
[00:58:37] Speaker B: Funny, I'll say. Because going back through this, I'm like, oh, this was a really good match actually.
[00:58:41] Speaker A: Like, yeah, they, they, they got some, they did some good once they actually got in the ring and technically that meant the match was kept short.
[00:58:53] Speaker C: Yeah, that, that fall away into the.
[00:58:55] Speaker B: 450 was, that was like, that was, it was cool.
[00:58:59] Speaker A: Yeah. And it was because of this like that stare down moment.
I saw people saying stuff like, well, that's why the dick biting was only the third gayest thing on the show.
[00:59:09] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:59:11] Speaker A: Because you also had the timeless love bombs on there. And they're pretty gay.
[00:59:15] Speaker C: Oh, so good.
[00:59:17] Speaker A: So gay.
[00:59:18] Speaker C: We love it at all times.
[00:59:20] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:59:21] Speaker A: Hobbs gets power bombed through a table. They double power bomb because they're the boy. Their boyfriend. Their boyfriend's buckshot to Shabbata and then he swerve, follows up with the house call and that's it, that's the end of.
[00:59:36] Speaker C: That. Yeah, Shabata sold the out of it. That house call, that was a great.
[00:59:43] Speaker B: House I saw somebody talk about. It is still funny to me that out of the three Musketeers, Tanahashi, Nakamura, Shabbat, Shabata is in the best condition out of any of them by far. And he had his brain removed.
[00:59:56] Speaker C: Yeah, he really moves like the same.
[00:59:59] Speaker B: As he, he doesn't look like that much different than he did 10 years ago. He still really works the same. Like, I don't know how. She can't walk.
Yes.
They're all like in their mid, like mid late 40s, aren't they?
But that was like the, yeah, that New Japan class of like, those were the three Musketeers because they always have to have little names for their like star groups. And Tanahashi's 49, Nakamura's doing stuff, but he's gotta be. I mean, he's still probably like 40, in his mid-40s, I guess.
[01:00:35] Speaker A: 46.
[01:00:36] Speaker B: Oh, everybody's Google. Yeah, 46. Yeah. But he's killing. He looks great. He really does not seem to have missed a stuff. Like I said, they took his brain out of his head.
[01:00:45] Speaker A: They took his brain out of his head. That's the thing that really happened.
[01:00:47] Speaker B: Washed it off at Windex and put it back in, and he was all good.
[01:00:51] Speaker C: Shinsuke is 45.
[01:00:53] Speaker A: We get a shot of Josh Alexander in the back watching tv because he's wrestling Swerve on Collision.
[01:01:01] Speaker B: Saturday, Saturday, Saturday.
[01:01:04] Speaker A: Lebanon Valley Speedway.
Don Callis does a little promo where he threatens the Bucks with lawsuits to get the money back. But instead, he wants them to grow a set, find a third man, and take on Okada, Takeda and Hachicero for all the money.
[01:01:19] Speaker B: We're still doing this trio.
[01:01:21] Speaker A: Yeah. I wonder how that's gonna backfire.
[01:01:23] Speaker B: I wonder if Okada and Takeshita will have tension during the match.
[01:01:28] Speaker C: I wonder if anyone has spent any of that million dollars. Like, there's no way there's still a million dollars in that. Those duffel bags. Like, are you kid who the source?
[01:01:39] Speaker B: Ate some.
[01:01:40] Speaker C: Yeah, he did.
[01:01:41] Speaker A: Probably ate a couple hundred.
[01:01:43] Speaker B: It's now $999,990.
[01:01:47] Speaker A: I. I greatly enjoy. I like that. That implies that it's just a bunch of singles.
[01:01:55] Speaker B: That would be a lot more than a double.
[01:01:58] Speaker C: That would be so many more. Duffel B.
[01:02:04] Speaker B: Yeah. That's just the start. It's like Mercedes belts. They have a bunch of men who carry the rest of the million around for them instead of putting in a bank account.
[01:02:11] Speaker C: That's why the Don Callis family is so huge. He's been planning for this.
[01:02:17] Speaker B: You'll win a million dollars in this trio match, but you have to carry it out in nickels.
That would be a stip homer with the water jug of change. It just falls through the ground. Goes.
[01:02:35] Speaker A: All right, Stokely. We got a Stokely promo for ftr.
Stoke the Stroke.
He's got breaking news. And that the Gang Gang bang has been handsy with FTR's titles.
[01:02:51] Speaker B: They have been.
I've been watching Collision. They've been touching those belts.
[01:02:55] Speaker A: They've been touching them. They've. They've. He's figured out that the greatest addiction isn't drugs.
It's wanting to be on camera. Like, everybody wants their TV time and get in front of the camera, which, like, yeah, it's wrestling. Everybody wants TV time. There's a whole Thing called TV time.
[01:03:12] Speaker B: And also just in re in reality. That's true too. Everybody's filming themselves.
[01:03:18] Speaker A: Yep.
Next week.
Next week in Manchester, as we the Bang Bang.
[01:03:24] Speaker C: As we talking to microphones.
[01:03:27] Speaker A: The Bang Bang Gang get their title shot and FTR will cure them of their addiction and send them of the line top.
[01:03:35] Speaker B: Guys out, which is probably what will happen.
[01:03:38] Speaker A: That's probably.
[01:03:39] Speaker B: Maybe Jay White will come back. That would be nice.
[01:03:41] Speaker A: We'll come back.
[01:03:44] Speaker B: They just do the intro and like Jay White's just in his spot again. Like, that would be sick.
[01:03:49] Speaker C: That would be. Oh, that's how they gotta do it.
[01:03:52] Speaker B: Like, they just do the entrance and he's just there. Like every. Everyone.
[01:03:57] Speaker C: Every time one of them comes back, that's how they gotta do it. Oh, my God. Tony, book it. You're listening.
[01:04:02] Speaker A: They should. They should bring Card Blade out, then have the lights go down and he replaces Card Blade.
[01:04:09] Speaker C: I miss Card Blade.
[01:04:11] Speaker B: Yeah, they retired Card Blade.
[01:04:13] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:04:14] Speaker B: Well, Juice got serious. He's like, we don't do Blade no more. But he also then shaved his face and now the hair is back so they could bring him back.
They just.
[01:04:22] Speaker A: Just one night for his return. Like, yeah, man. Kim, man.
One night only. All right. Okay, so now we get to probably one of the most awesome matches I've ever seen on Dynamite.
[01:04:36] Speaker C: Yeah. Jesus Christ.
[01:04:38] Speaker A: C2 Gold League.
Kyle Fletcher versus Speedball.
[01:04:43] Speaker B: Probably my TV match of the year.
[01:04:45] Speaker A: Yeah, this was. Oh, God, this was so good.
[01:04:48] Speaker B: Like, maybe one of my favorite AEW matches of all time. Like, I really can't overstate how much I love this.
[01:04:56] Speaker C: It's really up there.
This was nuts.
Fletcher is truly becoming the. The.
[01:05:07] Speaker B: He's a gold standard in this company.
[01:05:09] Speaker C: He's the boy. He's the boy's version of Mercedes where. Where I. I keep going. Stop being in my match of the year contenders.
[01:05:17] Speaker B: Like, he's taken over Osprey spot as like the guy who every match is going to be like a 4.5 star minimum.
[01:05:25] Speaker C: Like, it's just sick.
Yeah, it's just sick. And speedball was speed. Oh, my God.
[01:05:31] Speaker B: Speedballs.
[01:05:32] Speaker C: I mean, well, I'm sure one of my favorites. I'm sure we'll get into it, but some of the. They did.
[01:05:39] Speaker A: This is probably the best match he's had in aaw.
[01:05:43] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, the Okada match was up there, but this is the peak. It was. No, I'm not disagreeable.
[01:05:50] Speaker A: Yeah, this, this was. This was like, I think like speedball at their best.
[01:05:56] Speaker B: Yeah. And I think this is. This tournament's gonna be great to kind of get speedball, like, because they've been in the tag team Jet Speed, which is good. I love Jaspy. I want Jaspy to continue, but I feel like they got kind of a little lost in the sauce doing that for a bit there and haven't been able to shine out as well. Yeah, I think this tournament's gonna be like a reminder that. Oh, yes, people. Mike Bailey is one of the like, top five best wrestlers in the world.
[01:06:18] Speaker A: When they get to Kevin Knight versus Speedball. They are both.
[01:06:23] Speaker B: Oh, my God, they're gonna nuts. I. That's one of the ones I'd be happy with a time limit draw with if they do it. But they all fall out and hit a hit the time limit.
[01:06:35] Speaker C: They each get one point. Yeah, it, like, I mean, just, I, I didn't. I like to even think about that. It's like, oh, my God. But then how is it this company has so many goddamn match of the years for me? Like, I, I, like I'm gonna have a hard time. I'm gonna top five this year, like, easily.
That's gross. That hasn't happened in forever.
[01:07:01] Speaker B: I'm looking through my. I wrote the word amazing like 10 times throughout my notes here.
[01:07:05] Speaker A: Like, yeah, like, I tried keeping up with the action, but it was just.
[01:07:11] Speaker C: Well, the story, the through line story of. Of those moonsault knees throughout this whole match was so the fact that he at one point has has him laying on the barricade and he's going to do the knees on the barricade in front of the audience, front of the front row, and he ends up getting stopped, encountered, and then fletcher slam.
[01:07:39] Speaker B: Never seen this before them.
I've never seen anybody do that before.
[01:07:45] Speaker A: That was neither horrifying. Speedballs got gross.
[01:07:51] Speaker B: That's like where like before they were just kind of trading exchanges. That is like the beginning of what's to come is a mission. Oku driver on the guardrail.
Giant mark on speedball's back from it afterwards.
[01:08:03] Speaker C: Oh my. For like the rest of the match.
[01:08:06] Speaker A: Looks worse like a day later because of course it does. Like a bruise always looks like, nasty.
[01:08:12] Speaker B: It's got settled.
[01:08:13] Speaker C: But yeah, then they can.
Yeah. And then at one point he ends up actually hitting it on the apron, like hitting the knees on the apron. And then he straight up gets the ultimate weapon.
[01:08:25] Speaker B: The moon double knee spot is such a crazy thing because it looks crazy when he hits it and it looks crazy when he misses it.
[01:08:33] Speaker C: Yeah, because he missed one too. He goes to do it on the outside and missed. Missed it and landed on the outside.
[01:08:39] Speaker B: Those knee pads can only do so much.
[01:08:42] Speaker C: God, they had to hurt. Yeah, he's not even wearing shoes.
What the.
[01:08:47] Speaker A: I hope they can walk by the end of their career.
[01:08:53] Speaker C: No, like, I hope, like, good on you, but, like, I hope they. I hope, like, every man take care of themselves. Yeah.
[01:09:00] Speaker A: Like, the poor knees.
[01:09:02] Speaker B: Holy.
[01:09:03] Speaker A: My knees always hurt.
Ah.
[01:09:06] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:09:06] Speaker A: So this is. This is sort of another through line that I've noticed through the tournament is that Commentary has been giving Don Callis family members for cocky covers. Is like, you're not taking this seriously.
[01:09:19] Speaker B: Yeah, they talked about that in the. In the Okada match, they talked about that.
[01:09:24] Speaker A: And this is sort of the thing that comes back to bite Fletcher in the ass a whole lot. Like, there's a lot of times he could have put Speedball away and Speedball's.
[01:09:33] Speaker B: Able to just bit him in the dick.
[01:09:35] Speaker A: Bite him in the dick.
There was no dick biting in this match.
[01:09:39] Speaker B: No. I gotta say that.
[01:09:41] Speaker A: God. So.
Oh, God. Like, there's. There's just, like, I just watch the match. Like, I can't.
[01:09:47] Speaker B: It's just constant craziness.
[01:09:48] Speaker A: Yeah, they're back and forth.
[01:09:51] Speaker B: I mean, I'll say the big thing.
This match has some of the best near falls I've ever seen. Like this. The closing stretches, there are so many points where you're like, okay, that's it. Kyle wins here. And then, like, last split second. Or like, speedball. Okay, that's it. And then last second, like, I was jumping out of my seat watching this.
[01:10:14] Speaker A: And the way that, again, like, they talk by talking up the fact that Fletcher's not covering guys properly because especially down the stretch, a lot of those near falls are because Fletcher doesn't have Speedball shoulder all the way down. Like, the last kick out right before the end, he. They literally just off that brain Buster shoulder.
[01:10:34] Speaker B: Yeah. Barely gets the shoulder. Was this the first match Speedball hit the Ultima weapon in aew?
[01:10:40] Speaker C: I think it's first. I've seen it.
[01:10:42] Speaker B: Yeah. Like, I know he's gone for it before, but, like, I feel like this is the first time we've hit it. I could be wrong.
[01:10:47] Speaker A: He's hit it before.
[01:10:48] Speaker B: Yeah, maybe, but it's not when he busts out as much. He's the Flamingo driver. But he didn't do it.
[01:10:53] Speaker A: He did not. Yeah. They. They even mentioned on Commentary is like, he's. Oh, they're going for the Flamingo driver or something.
[01:11:00] Speaker B: I like the idea of keeping that as Like a super finisher.
[01:11:03] Speaker C: Yeah. Yep. And I like it too, how Flet Fletcher has like, I, like, I, I'm really enjoying this. This thing where people have super finishers. I don't know if it's like a new Japan influence or what, but like, Kyle's got the generico brain Buster on the.
Yeah, like the, the brain Buster on the turnbuckle. Like, they bust that out when it's.
[01:11:30] Speaker B: Brain buster onto screwdriver.
[01:11:33] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[01:11:34] Speaker A: My super finished murder.
[01:11:39] Speaker B: I'm going to prison, buddy. I'm gonna get a freak out first.
[01:11:42] Speaker C: A right and scar some children for life. And this is wrestling.
But no, I love the idea of like, I have a ospreys with the Tiger Driver 91 where it's like, I.
[01:11:57] Speaker B: I goes back to like, all Japan too. Like the emerald Burning Hammer.
[01:12:02] Speaker C: I think, I think of the Burning Hammer. Yeah.
[01:12:04] Speaker A: Kabashi only used a burning hammer like seven times in his entire in ring career.
[01:12:08] Speaker B: Yeah. Throughout. Yeah, yeah.
[01:12:11] Speaker A: If he busted out the burning Hammer, you weren't kicking out of it.
[01:12:14] Speaker C: Exactly. And I really love the idea of that, that super finisher. And it's kind of like, what, have.
[01:12:21] Speaker B: A pig pro these finishers.
[01:12:23] Speaker C: The burning Hammer, well, it's kind of what people. It's sort of like what, What you need to do to, to get rid of the, the, the fetty thing of, of it takes like four or five finishers to put a guy down. You know what I mean?
[01:12:45] Speaker B: Like, it's a good way to like, kick the match up into that, like, next gear. Like, go from like, fourth to fifth is. Okay. This is a, like, look, I need.
[01:12:56] Speaker C: To, I need to damn near kill this. I need to risk like, permanent injury on this person.
[01:13:02] Speaker B: Like, they're big matches, but this is a big match if I'm doing that.
[01:13:06] Speaker C: Yeah, ex. Exactly. So, yeah, Ultima weapon, super finish just.
[01:13:11] Speaker A: To cap it off. Let's here's just go watch the match. But here's the, here's how the finish goes down.
[01:13:18] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:13:18] Speaker A: Fletcher nails a lariat. They call one minute left in the match.
[01:13:22] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, I forgot about that.
[01:13:24] Speaker A: Bailey avoids a brain buster and then gets Fletcher into a powerbound position where he crosses his arms.
Then Bailey roll, rolls through.
So it's like a holding, holding, hold.
[01:13:40] Speaker C: Like a straight jacket sunset flip. Yeah.
[01:13:44] Speaker A: And then the, the piece de resistance is speedball. Gets their legs up and traps Fletcher's legs. And that's the three account.
[01:13:52] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[01:13:53] Speaker B: It's such a good fitting combination.
[01:13:55] Speaker C: And I've never seen a pin like that.
[01:13:57] Speaker A: Nuts.
[01:13:58] Speaker B: Yeah. I saw some crowd videos, and, like, the place is just shaking, like, holy.
You see people in the crowd, like, holding their heads like they've just seen an alien. Like they're losing their minds. It was just.
[01:14:11] Speaker C: What a goddamn upset.
[01:14:13] Speaker B: This, to me, was like, what a pro wrestling match does it. It should be at its peak, like.
[01:14:19] Speaker C: Because I bet you nobody thought that was happening. Like, no one thought that was gonna happen.
[01:14:24] Speaker A: I would not have expected it to go that long.
I mean, there's always an outside chance of, you know, an upset in these tournaments, but, like, God damn. Especially the way Fletcher's been booked.
[01:14:37] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:14:37] Speaker A: So far he's a world beater at this point, so that's a big upset.
Everybody's going, I think this is cool.
[01:14:45] Speaker C: He's literally super Boo.
[01:14:47] Speaker B: I think Fletcher's gonna win probably the majority of the rest. He's at least probably gonna be in the finals. If not, I could even see him win the whole thing. So this is a good win to drop to speedball. It puts speedball over. It makes him look legit. And this way people's not losing, like, three in a row. He's still. He's in competition again.
Very, very good stuff.
[01:15:08] Speaker A: So that was awesome.
[01:15:09] Speaker B: Like, yeah.
[01:15:10] Speaker A: I'm somewhat speechless.
[01:15:14] Speaker C: Yeah. Like. Like, everybody, this. This is an unreal. You do.
[01:15:18] Speaker B: I knew that was going to be good.
Like, I knew it was gonna be a good match. I did not expect, and I thought I had the possibility to be a great match, but this was, like, I said, like, you know how last week we got Hamper on the show. Hampter doesn't watch a lot of, like, modern wrestling. This is the kind of stuff I want people to see the first time to be like, oh, okay. I get why you love pro wrestling. It's like, because of matches like this.
[01:15:43] Speaker C: Yeah. No, this isn't absolutely a. Some. A match that you show AEW at.
[01:15:49] Speaker B: Its peak is this kind of stuff.
[01:15:51] Speaker C: Yeah. Unreal. It's something else.
[01:15:54] Speaker A: So we get a quick interview with Hangman Renee, asks him what's next, and he says, it's getting the world title, and whoever wins tonight, he's coming after them. And then we get the Bucks and Luchasaurus, and the young Bucks accept the match in Manchester for all the money. And they ask Luchasaurus if he'll be their partner. And he actually says, no.
And then.
[01:16:21] Speaker C: It grunts in the general direction.
He points to Kenny Omega's door.
[01:16:29] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:16:29] Speaker A: So the Bucks go and ask Kenny and say, hey, for a million bucks, do you want to help Us out. And he says, if I can get it Don Callis, I'll do it for free.
[01:16:39] Speaker B: Oh, that'll buy you a lot of street fighters, Kenny. You can buy every street fighter with that one.
[01:16:44] Speaker A: So that, yeah. Next week, the Elite, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks versus the Don Callis family.
[01:16:51] Speaker B: Like they have done this, but this is nice to see the reformation of the Elite as a trio. It's been a long time since we've had the Bucks and Kenny.
[01:16:58] Speaker C: I feel like it's been like several years at this point. Like it's been, I mean, since, since.
[01:17:04] Speaker B: They teamed with joined up with Okada and they were the Elite for that whole time. So.
[01:17:08] Speaker A: Yeah, like two years.
[01:17:10] Speaker C: But Bucks have been an heel run for like a long while and he.
[01:17:17] Speaker B: Had his diverticulators and like.
[01:17:20] Speaker C: Yeah, well, I don't know about you.
[01:17:23] Speaker B: Put them on the shelf.
[01:17:24] Speaker C: But I, I for one last act.
[01:17:26] Speaker B: Before going to nxt.
[01:17:31] Speaker C: That's so funny.
I, I for one am hoping for some wayward son. I just think it would be. Yeah, he probably will be nice.
[01:17:43] Speaker B: For me specifically singing. Yeah, they'll sing the whole song throughout the rest of the match.
I don't want cool thing too. On the pre show to this match, Steve Borden Jr. Sting's son was one of the dark matches.
[01:17:59] Speaker C: Yeah, we should mention that he had.
[01:18:01] Speaker B: A match in Defy a little while ago which was really good. And apparently in this he came out to Image song by Led Zeppelin. Like Instinct did.
[01:18:08] Speaker C: Fascinating.
[01:18:10] Speaker B: Yeah. I will watch her career with great interest.
[01:18:13] Speaker C: Right? Yeah, yeah, that's. I'm gonna watch your career. Great interest.
[01:18:18] Speaker A: How old is he?
[01:18:20] Speaker B: Is my question like mid-20s.
Really?
[01:18:24] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:18:25] Speaker B: Yeah, I think he's probably like 25 or 26.
[01:18:27] Speaker A: I, I hope not bad that he's just known as Sting's large adult son.
[01:18:34] Speaker B: He was getting Steve Chance like Steve, Steve, Steve.
[01:18:40] Speaker C: I don't know. Oh, no, man. You gotta be like Sting Jr.
[01:18:44] Speaker B: Thank you. AI. I googled how Steve Borden Jr. A's and it says Steve Jr. Would be in his 20 or 30s, depending on his actual birth year.
That really helped.
[01:18:57] Speaker A: Jesus Christ. What trash.
[01:19:00] Speaker B: Anyway, okay, he's 26. There we go.
[01:19:08] Speaker C: I'm so happy that that's like 2/3 of our economy.
[01:19:11] Speaker B: That's everything now. Sorry.
[01:19:14] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:19:14] Speaker B: That's not. That's another part. We'll save that for the Minotaur sex podcast.
[01:19:19] Speaker A: Podcast. AI.
All right, so this leads us to.
[01:19:26] Speaker B: The main event, the real American Horror Story.
That's the real American messages on this show.
[01:19:39] Speaker C: The Dick Is a dick heavy episode, folks. It continues to be a dick heavy episode.
[01:19:44] Speaker B: AI, it's all gonna bite us.
[01:19:46] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:19:48] Speaker A: The Jack Perry had economic disasters.
[01:19:56] Speaker C: That's what's gonna burst the bubble. He's gonna bite it in the dick. The bubble's dick.
[01:20:00] Speaker B: Let's get to this main event.
[01:20:01] Speaker C: Yeah. Jesus.
It's my violence.
[01:20:05] Speaker A: Main event of the evening, the AEW Men's World Championship. Samoa Joe defending against Eddie Kingston. Mojo Hook. Hook comes out with Joe. While commentary talks about Joe's history on the Indies and like, yeah, kind of got to talk about how he was a bit of a dick on the Indies and it's always been him.
So this.
They very quickly toss hook. Joe and Eddie do something right move main event, grappling, chopping, shoving and stuff like that. And then hook grabs Eddie's leg while he's running the ropes and just gone right away.
[01:20:45] Speaker B: Yep.
And then everybody's happy.
[01:20:49] Speaker A: Everybody's happy.
[01:20:50] Speaker B: It really kind of brought. It brought everything to life.
[01:20:53] Speaker A: So I'm not gonna call this match Kings Road style, but I'm gonna call it Kings Road adjacent.
[01:21:01] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a very. It's an Eddie. It's Eddie's milieu. He does now. It's very strike heavy.
[01:21:07] Speaker A: It's Eddie's milieu. But then yeah, Joe, Joe has experienced.
Joe has a lot of experience with that style too. So.
[01:21:16] Speaker B: Oh yeah.
The right two people to be doing this.
[01:21:19] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.
[01:21:21] Speaker B: No heavy handed dudes with intensity.
[01:21:24] Speaker C: And I gotta say, was it.
I don't know if it was last, not last week, last match that Eddie had someone's like some. It might have been you. Jeff was talking about how he's looking really good.
[01:21:35] Speaker B: He's all slimmed up.
[01:21:37] Speaker C: I was like, oh, I guess I didn't so see that. So I was like, maybe my eyes just always see him as a beefier boy.
But then I buy attention this weekend. Like holy.
[01:21:50] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:21:52] Speaker C: Like he got.
[01:21:54] Speaker B: Yeah, he's less trailer park boys randy than he was before. Like it's still. He's still a big dude. Like he still looks like a normal human being, don't get me wrong. But I think Caesar. But no, he's been putting him through the cardio like getting him back.
[01:22:05] Speaker C: No, he's. He's less Randy, more. More Ricky. Almost a Julian.
[01:22:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:22:11] Speaker C: No, yeah, yeah.
[01:22:13] Speaker B: Territory right now, which is a good spot to be for a guy like him.
And he moves good. He looks good wrestling.
[01:22:20] Speaker A: He looked really good in this match for his.
[01:22:22] Speaker B: What is this, his sixth map back?
[01:22:24] Speaker C: Something like that. But that's the other thing that I. That I notice is like, his. His ring rust, I would say, like, I've note my first couple matches, I was like, oh, Eddie, are you good?
[01:22:35] Speaker B: That first match back with Big Bill was not great, but it's steadily since he's gotten away from hook. It has gotten world better. Yeah, you have to do.
[01:22:47] Speaker C: Yeah. So, like, this match, fantastic.
[01:22:50] Speaker B: This is great.
[01:22:51] Speaker A: This. This. Yeah, this was tremendous. Like, this was. This was big boy wrestling.
This was.
We're gonna throw some stiff chops. We're gonna backdrop you on your head. We're gonna Larry at each other as hard as possible.
[01:23:05] Speaker C: Oh, my God. That. He got that one, like, capture or, like, exploder suplex.
[01:23:14] Speaker B: And, like, drops him.
[01:23:15] Speaker C: And, like, just barely gets him over. Like. Holy.
[01:23:20] Speaker A: Oh, that was. That was a 90s Akiyama exploder. Yeah, like I said, that was like, they. They let some of the Eddie's all Japan influence shine through in this.
[01:23:33] Speaker C: That's good. I love. I love that. Like, it's like, look, you're gonna lose. You know you're gonna lose.
[01:23:40] Speaker B: This was.
[01:23:40] Speaker C: Go out there and, like, give them. Give them whatever you want to give them.
[01:23:45] Speaker B: Joe made Eddie looks like a million bucks, too. Like, oh, yo. At one point, takes a bump off a chop. Like, Eddie just chopped flatbacks. Like, Eddie was in control for most of this, to be honest.
[01:23:57] Speaker C: And by the end of the match, Joe's chest is.
Is gross.
Like, it's like, like deep, deep bruising. Like, holy.
Anyways. Yeah, I could drive through, but, yeah, I didn't mean to go all the way. I'm not saying, like, go with it to the end, but, like, by the end of it looking.
[01:24:19] Speaker A: Oh, no, no, I'm not gonna jump. Yeah, I'm not gonna jump right to.
[01:24:22] Speaker C: The end because, yeah, I'm not trying to drive. I'm sorry. Backseat driving.
[01:24:26] Speaker A: Backseat driving.
[01:24:28] Speaker B: We're back to turn this podcast around.
[01:24:31] Speaker C: No, I'm literally reaching from the back seat and grabbing the wheel and Yankee. No, I'm kidding.
[01:24:35] Speaker A: No, that's fine. Because, like, I mean, you said everything that, like, I was thinking as well.
It was just.
[01:24:42] Speaker C: It.
[01:24:42] Speaker A: It was good. It was.
[01:24:44] Speaker B: I didn't have a ton.
[01:24:44] Speaker A: It was a great.
I. I thought it was the kind of match that by the end, you actually thought, even if you didn't think Eddie was gonna win, like, it actually seemed like he could win that match. They did a good job of selling that he could do it.
And then, like, because you've got Danielson on commentary also just, like, gushing over.
[01:25:05] Speaker B: Eddie put over Eddie hard.
[01:25:07] Speaker A: Yeah, I put. I called him king of the bums. But like he's, you know. Yeah, we were all wrong about him back then.
[01:25:15] Speaker B: And they released a video after the show was over. Eddie got the mic and he called him and Danielson start talking and Danielson gets a mic and just talks about how much he loves Ed Eddie. Now he's like, I call him the king of the. You know, same thing you're saying on commentary. He's like. But he's like, I. I believe in Eddie Kingston. He asked the crowd, do you believe in Eddie Kingston? And they all did the yes chance.
[01:25:33] Speaker C: Oh, got really.
[01:25:36] Speaker B: Eddie got really emotional.
[01:25:37] Speaker A: Yeah, it was nice. Yeah, it was a really nice moment.
[01:25:41] Speaker C: Oh, well, of course he did. It's real. It's still real to him. Damn it.
Oh, he thinks it's a shoot.
[01:25:48] Speaker A: So my heart, Joe, Joe gets a lot of his classic offense. So he does that corner Uranagi slam. He.
[01:25:56] Speaker C: The face.
[01:25:56] Speaker A: I always love that he gets that snap power slam on Eddie.
[01:26:01] Speaker C: Oh, a pretty one too.
[01:26:03] Speaker A: He starts doing quada style kicks to Eddie and Eddie fights through that. You can't out quada Eddie.
Yeah, I would say that, that like after, after the head kicks is when Eddie hit the. That horrifying exploder suplex.
[01:26:19] Speaker C: Oh, yes.
I love. There was a bit where both of them did like the rapid, rapid offense where they just hit like a flurry of punch combinations on each other.
So like Eddie hits him with a bunch of.
And then jumps back like forearm version.
I was just like, this is. God. God, I love wrestling. Yes.
[01:26:44] Speaker A: At one point, Joe does a little John Cena tribute. He. He hits a attitude adjustment to a. And then puts him in the shitty STF and does a little salute.
[01:26:56] Speaker B: Yeah, does the salute. Yep. Yeah.
Picture of that on his Instagram.
[01:27:02] Speaker C: That was really, really cute. That might.
[01:27:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:27:06] Speaker B: John Cena retires in what, two days from now?
[01:27:09] Speaker C: Yeah, Saturday.
[01:27:10] Speaker A: Saturday.
[01:27:11] Speaker B: Yeah. The Saturday. Yeah.
[01:27:12] Speaker C: Against Gunta.
[01:27:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:27:15] Speaker C: Because it's not the Nazi company.
[01:27:19] Speaker B: He's Austrian.
[01:27:21] Speaker C: You know who else was Austria.
[01:27:24] Speaker B: That's a good point.
[01:27:24] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:27:25] Speaker B: Never mind.
[01:27:26] Speaker A: Yeah, and he goes for the. Eddie goes for the back fist.
Joe blocks it, headbutts him. Eddie comes back again with another attempt at the Urtican. And Joe avoids it, turns into coquina clutch and Eddie actually taps. He was out for a second and then he tapped.
[01:27:45] Speaker C: Yeah, no, I, I thought that was kind of. That was kind of wild that it was like. Yeah, he was just about out and he's like, no, I don't want to die.
[01:27:55] Speaker B: I think they're. They're selling the comeback of Eddie. Like, it would have been cool to have him win this, but I think it's building to a story, especially with what they did with Danielson after the show's over, of being like, yeah, he's only been back six matches. Like, he's getting his reps back in. He's getting so built back up, we're not done with him. Like, this is just another step in the jerk. Yeah.
[01:28:15] Speaker C: And it's gonna be good.
[01:28:18] Speaker A: It's kind of what I mean when I say the match is Kings Road adjacent because Kings Road doesn't usually use submissions for a finish, but they're all about having, like, a decisive finish.
Eddie actually tapping makes it a decisive finish. And.
[01:28:35] Speaker B: Yeah, that's a good way to put it.
[01:28:37] Speaker A: Aw. Uses the passes, pass out on the submission gimmick way too much.
[01:28:41] Speaker C: Yeah, they do it all.
[01:28:43] Speaker B: It does get overdone.
[01:28:44] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:28:45] Speaker B: People should tap sometimes. Like, not everybody's. Ishi. Come on.
[01:28:50] Speaker C: But, yeah, just excellent finish.
[01:28:53] Speaker B: Yeah, it was good.
[01:28:54] Speaker A: It was so good.
[01:28:55] Speaker B: Yeah, this was a good match. The thing is, this was a very good match, but it followed my favorite match ever, so I did.
But it was like I was still kind of reeling from Kyle and Speedball throughout this a little bit. I was like, yeah, that was good.
[01:29:11] Speaker C: But, yeah, yeah, it's like, I'm sorry, guys. It's just. I just got silly like that, man. Like, that match just destroyed me.
But sure, let's. This is good, too. Yeah.
[01:29:25] Speaker A: I mean, I loved it, but I was a sucker for that kind of style of match. And they pulled it off fantastically.
[01:29:32] Speaker B: No. Yeah. And it was. It was good, don't get me wrong. Yeah.
[01:29:35] Speaker C: No, and I'm. I'm a bit. I'm a big old. Big old Eddie Mark and a big old Joe Mark, for that matter. So, yeah, this. So this was just a couple of big old Kaijus giving me good times.
It was fantastic.
[01:29:49] Speaker A: Great match, great show.
[01:29:51] Speaker C: I still can't believe he hit him with that suplex.
[01:29:54] Speaker A: God damn, that thing was sick. This was a fantastic show.
You'd expect a name, and you expect the name Dynamite to be really good, but like, this.
[01:30:05] Speaker B: Yeah, they always deliver. But this was good.
[01:30:09] Speaker C: This was something. Yeah, I feel like that's. I say it a lot, but, like, that's when I say it's something else. Like, I mean it like that. So, like, I say that when I mean, like, this was like a step above. This is like Meltzer adding more Stars, you know, like. Like, this was a dynamite and a half. You know, like, it's been a long.
[01:30:28] Speaker A: Time since I've seen people collectively be like, that was a good dynam.
[01:30:32] Speaker C: Right?
[01:30:32] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:30:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
I've seen a lot of people kind of back. Like, I'm surprised to find out that. Did you know there's AW fans who don't think that AW is on the biggest, like, hottest run of all time right now.
Could. Couldn't. Could not be me. I don't understand.
Are we watching the same show?
[01:30:55] Speaker B: It's objective.
[01:30:56] Speaker C: Yeah, I guess. But, like.
[01:30:58] Speaker B: No, but. Yeah, this was.
[01:31:00] Speaker C: See, I'm not. And I'm not judging, but I'm just like, what?
I don't know. Oh, yeah.
[01:31:06] Speaker B: I have a little scorecard. I write about every wrestling fan I see online, what I think about them.
[01:31:11] Speaker C: Shut the.
You. No. You are kidding.
[01:31:14] Speaker B: I haven't.
Worth a kidding. I don't keep. No.
[01:31:18] Speaker C: Okay, Jesus.
Look, look, I have seen some.
[01:31:23] Speaker B: I'm not that psychotic. I don't even fade that.
[01:31:26] Speaker C: Some of the things I have seen on blue stuff guy. Like, I would not be surprised.
[01:31:31] Speaker B: I will say, like, you doubting me, though, does kind of make it make a mark on your note card.
[01:31:37] Speaker C: God damn it. You know what? I earned that one. That's fine.
[01:31:39] Speaker B: Okay, you're gonna have to get back up.
[01:31:41] Speaker C: I want a gold star back. Damn it. I'm gonna earn a gold star on my note card.
Anyways.
[01:31:48] Speaker B: Yeah, like I said, amazing. It's aew.
[01:31:53] Speaker C: Yeah. I don't know what. Oh, I was gonna say anyways, but we've reached the end of the show. I don't even know what else to say.
[01:31:58] Speaker A: Holy.
They hit the. They hit the Made in Georgia Graphic and that was it.
[01:32:06] Speaker C: Once they hit the Made in Georgia Graphic, it's. Why. Why are you still here? Why are we still podcasting? What?
[01:32:12] Speaker B: The Stoke for the England shows, too? And. Yeah.
[01:32:16] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, yeah.
[01:32:17] Speaker A: So we got good stuff coming.
[01:32:19] Speaker B: Good stuff happening.
[01:32:20] Speaker C: They're splitting up the. The. The named shows, which is. Oh, a little weird, but World's End.
[01:32:28] Speaker B: Is only like two and a half weeks away.
[01:32:30] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[01:32:31] Speaker A: 27.
[01:32:32] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[01:32:34] Speaker A: Collision on Saturday.
DinoVision next Wednesday.
[01:32:39] Speaker C: That's right. There's a Dino Vision. No, next. Next Wednesday is Holiday.
[01:32:45] Speaker B: Yeah. Next week is Holiday Bash. Then week after is Dino, so.
[01:32:49] Speaker C: Oh, my God. We got two weeks in a row Christmas.
[01:32:55] Speaker A: I'm pretty sure the week after is. They're doing Christmas Eve and Christmas.
Next week's DinoVision.
[01:33:02] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Maybe they don't do it. Oh, okay. Yeah, their schedule this month is all. Got me all screwy because, like, Collision is on at 4 o' clock this week. Like, everything's got me all thrown off.
[01:33:13] Speaker C: Oh, that's right.
Oh, my God, there's so much wrestling. There's too much wrestling, but not enough wrestling.
[01:33:20] Speaker B: Yes. World Tag League tomorrow. I gotta get caught up. Huh?
You know.
[01:33:28] Speaker C: No. All right. But no, no, I'm not gonna make like the. A full. I was almost gonna make like a full nod, so I'm not gonna make a full announcement, but did you all know about the archives?
I feel like that's a thing I need to say. Into the podcast microphone.
What's going on with the. The archives?
Everything's.
Everything's leaving Peacock at the end.
[01:33:53] Speaker B: I thought you meant like the podcast archives.
[01:33:56] Speaker C: No, no, the wrestling. The. The.
[01:33:59] Speaker B: Yeah, I know. I saw that. Yeah.
[01:34:01] Speaker C: Wwe, WCW and ECW is all going back into a vault.
[01:34:06] Speaker B: A lot of it will probably get put up on their YouTube channel, but, like, a lot.
[01:34:10] Speaker C: Yeah, but you know that.
[01:34:11] Speaker B: Now let's talk about all this.
[01:34:13] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm so.
12 years we had access to that.
[01:34:18] Speaker B: The WWE Network was still the best that company ever was. That was so nice. And it was 10 bucks, and now it's gone forever. And you have to pay 20 bucks if you want to watch it on Netflix without commercials.
Yeah, everything sucks. Yeah.
[01:34:35] Speaker C: Except aw doesn't suck. Aw is really great. So that's good. But I'm just sad and I don't.
That. Yeah, that's like, what's. But like, that's what started us podcasting is the fact that I had Peacock and access to all of those shows. So it's like, it felt like something I should mention.
It's going away.
[01:35:00] Speaker B: As long as Netflix doesn't buy dailymotion, we're okay.
[01:35:03] Speaker C: Yeah.
Yeah, fair enough.
[01:35:08] Speaker A: In positive wrestling news, Wrestle Kingdom sold out. Like, full house.
[01:35:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:35:17] Speaker C: Oh, you're gonna. You're gonna see.
[01:35:22] Speaker B: No, not at all.
[01:35:24] Speaker A: I'm not gonna see. I'm watching that on the big screens. But I'll be sitting on the floor of the Tokyo Dome.
[01:35:31] Speaker B: Yep, you'll be there. That's what matters.
[01:35:34] Speaker A: Yes.
That's exciting. I don't think I've ever been in a crowd that bit or anything. I'm probably gonna have. No, I need some anti anxiety meds for that.
[01:35:45] Speaker C: Yeah, I was gonna say I'm getting anxious just thinking about it.
[01:35:48] Speaker B: So.
[01:35:48] Speaker C: Good on you for doing the things.
[01:35:51] Speaker B: Those are, like, the only situations I can be in. Crowds around, like, Normal. I hate crowds most of the time, but, like, wrestling shows and like that, I get so lost in the experience that, like, once it gets going, I've usually.
[01:36:02] Speaker C: Yeah, fair enough.
[01:36:03] Speaker B: Yeah, same thing. Like, I hate being in crowds, but I love going to, like, punk shows where I'm jammed in with a billion people. We're all bashing again. I hate.
[01:36:10] Speaker C: I hate that.
[01:36:11] Speaker B: But I love mashing and dancing.
[01:36:13] Speaker C: Like. Yeah, exactly. I hate being around people except when it's mushy.
Well, folks, we did it.
[01:36:23] Speaker B: Take it home.
[01:36:23] Speaker A: We did it.
[01:36:24] Speaker C: Go to the patreon. The mnff pod.com.
[01:36:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:36:29] Speaker C: Patreon.com andff I haven't done this in forever. I'm still. I'm reaching up from the back seat, I'm grabbing the wheel and I'm yanking.
So, yeah, go to Patreon. Give us monies. We're on YouTube.
[01:36:41] Speaker B: Go there, like, subscribe Studios or something.
[01:36:44] Speaker C: Big Fight Studios. Yes, there's a thing.
There's also Ghost Radio.
Ghost Ghost Radio has YouTube now, where elect the most important election of your life. Lives.

[01:37:13] Speaker B: Try not to get your dick bit.
[01:37:14] Speaker C: Try not to get your.
[01:37:15] Speaker A: Or.
[01:37:16] Speaker C: Or. Or.
[01:37:19] Speaker B: Or.
[01:37:20] Speaker C: Try to get your dick bit. You know, depending. You know, depending on if you're in.
[01:37:23] Speaker B: A hard spot in your life, if things aren't going right for you, look for the nearest dick and bite it. That's how you get out of problems. Yeah, that's that. Yeah.
[01:37:33] Speaker A: Don't let Tombstone pile drive you.
[01:37:40] Speaker B: Let that be the one thing you take away from this podcast.
[01:37:43] Speaker C: Okay?
[01:37:44] Speaker B: That. That. All right?
[01:37:49] Speaker A: Your life gives you dicks. Fight them.
[01:38:06] Speaker B: Hello.
[01:38:06] Speaker C: Reverse Mukbang.
[01:38:07] Speaker B: Yeah, no, that's a good band name.
