Episode Transcript

[00:00:04] Good evening Goofs and Graps fans. This is Erica Warren still doing the same bad Howard Cosell impression with your recap of the Continental Classics second week. The weather outside is getting frightful, but the hot action in the C2 this week has been oh so delightful. [00:00:23] Dynamite featured a trio of big matches as in the Gold League, Kyle Fletcher defeated Kevin Knight to continue his perfect start to the tournament, while fellow Don Callis family member Kazuchika Okada got three points on the board with a victory over Pac in the main event. The Death Riders exploded as Claudio Castagnoli beat Jon Moxley in a predictably violent Blue League affair. [00:00:49] Collision saw the entire Blue League in action with Orange Cassidy getting his first three points of a conglomeration frenemy, Roderick Strong Mascara Dorada scoring a big surprise win over block leader Claudio Castagnoli and in an epic main event, Konosuke Takeshita handed Jon Moxley his second loss of the week to go 20 in his first C2. [00:01:15] The other major news coming out of the tournament this week saw Darby Allin withdrawing from the competition due to injury. [00:01:22] He will be replaced by Whitland Jack Perry, a nickname that this podcast will run into the ground until it sticks. Fuck the jungle. They have huge bugs there. [00:01:34] So after two weeks of action, the standings in the Gold League have Kyle Fletcher as the only man with six points while Okada, Pac and Knight sit at three. While Mike Bailey and Whitland Jack remain scoreless in the Blue League, Claudio and Takeshita have six while OC Dorada and Mox are on the board with three points and poor Roddy Strong is unfortunately in the basement with zero at the time of recording. There are no league matches scheduled for next week's Winter Is Coming shows, to which this reporter says unequivocally, f you Tony Khan, F you and fuck you. [00:02:17] Until next time, Goofs and Graps fans. [00:02:20] Happy wrestling.
