Roundup for the first two nights of the 2025 AEW Continental Classic, the November 26th edition of Dynamite featured four huge matches from the Gold and Blue leagues, opening with what many are calling an upset as the prot star Kyle Fletcher defeated fellow Don Callis family member and reigning Continental Classic winner Kazuchika Okada.
[00:00:41] Jon Moxley scored a big bounce back win over CMLL's Mascara Dorada in a hard fought Clash of Styles while Kevin Knight surprisingly dominated Darby Allen in an impressive win.
[00:00:55] The night ended with the DeathRider's Swiss assassin Claudio Castagnoli scoring a win over longtime rival Orange Kess City with his deadly pop up uppercut, but there was no break as a tournament continued the next night. On a Thanksgiving edition of Collision in the Gold League, park of the Death Riders scored a tough win over Speedball Mike Bailey. And then in the Blue League, this journalist's very biased favorite and husband Konosuke Takeshita defeated a very game Roderick Strong for three points in the night's main event.
[00:01:35] Next week we've already got some big matches pegged for Dynamite. For the Blue League, Jon Moxley will take on Claudio Castagnoli and a Deathriders battle and in the Gold League, Okada takes on Pac and Kyle faces off against Kevin Knight.
[00:01:54] Right now Fletcher, Pac and Knight sit atop the Gold League with wins while Mox, Claudio and Takeshi to hold the top of the Blue League.
