Episode Transcript
[00:00:07] Speaker A: In the beginning, the earth was a dark, formless void.
But then God spoke and said, let there be wrestling.
And with that, there was Monday, and wrestling happened on Mondays. And God looked upon her works and said, holy shit, that's a lot of racism in video packages.
On the second day, God got depressed. And lo, did she post about it on the DVD VR forums. And with that, there was Tuesday.
On the third day, God said, let there be Wednesday. And lo, did the people reply unto her.
We know what that means.
[00:00:57] Speaker B: Welcome back to Wednesday night Fake Fights, where I. Gary. Oh. Oh, no, not that. Ella Taylor.
New name, new show. It's a me still she her, though. What up? I'm here to talk about AEW Dynamite. Every week, lighten the fuse, Bang and such with all of my favorite queers. First favorite queer, go.
[00:01:21] Speaker A: It's Erica Warrens. I am still here. It's great to be here.
Fake Fights. I have a knife.
[00:01:31] Speaker B: Yeah, there is a knife. It's really weird. Oh, gosh. I haven't done that forever. That was exhilarating. All right, how about you? How about you? Creation.
[00:01:40] Speaker C: Yosoy. Hemorrh.
[00:01:42] Speaker B: Sero.
[00:01:43] Speaker C: So I'm gonna go. I'm out. I'm coming out onto the map. And then I'm gonna do the orbs. I'm pondering the orbs with my hand. I'm gonna point nacho cheese, and then I'm gonna point to the right jalapenos, and then I'm gonna do more hand motions, and then tortilla chips.
[00:02:04] Speaker B: You just really want nachos. That's like.
[00:02:07] Speaker C: So I'm working with. I'm trying to work within a motif here of, like, old 90s stuff, of what was left to me and echisero.
[00:02:18] Speaker B: Okay, that makes sense. So I literally left you in front of Daily Motion with literal, like, gas nachos.
And that's why the nacho cheese and the jalapenos. Tortilla chips, that is.
You have a beautiful mind, my friend. Beautiful mind is.
Is, though. Isn't it, though?
[00:02:40] Speaker C: Well, I'm glad somebody thinks so.
[00:02:44] Speaker B: So, yes. Hello. Gosh, I haven't done that in a while.
Don't worry, I'm not driving. We're not that. We're not that far gone.
And honestly, I. I'm gonna be honest, doing the only thing that I miss probably about the Monday show, that. That and random guests getting to talk to go through a list of all my mutuals. But now I get to do that with the election show, so it's fun.
But we are here to talk about graps.
So I, for one, am not ready to take over any driving duties yet. Though that will change. So, Erica, I'm just going to hop out here.
[00:03:26] Speaker A: The knife says that you can pry for my cold dead chicken thinners.
[00:03:36] Speaker C: Erica's got a knife. Been drinking. It's fine.
I apologize.
[00:03:41] Speaker A: I am so brain. Oh.
[00:03:44] Speaker C: So actually, legitimately the most eligible person to drive this bus.
[00:03:50] Speaker B: Yes, absolutely. I know.
[00:03:51] Speaker A: I wanted to drink because this week has been horrible and. Yeah. Snowed today and has not helped my. Whatever disease I've got. But that's fine.
I've got a knife. And you know what knives do. They cut colds out of business and.
All right. We're driving. All right. We are dynamite in San Jose.
[00:04:13] Speaker B: That's. I'm sorry. That's fine. Because I have a knife. Isn't being that I. That's a shirt. All right. All.
[00:04:22] Speaker C: It's a mantra driving.
[00:04:25] Speaker A: I don't know what Ella's gonna be doing while I drive. All right. So it is.
[00:04:29] Speaker B: Go wipe that babies.
[00:04:32] Speaker A: 11th edition of Dynamite. San Jose, California. Dave Big melts. Meltzer is in attendance and is the last Dynavite before revolution. And there's a press conference happening tonight between MJF and Hangman Adam Page. And also, it is not just any other dynamite. Oh, no. It is the Rickab Bone Zone.
[00:04:54] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:04:55] Speaker A: Ian Riccabani filling in for Excalibur. We kick things off right away with the Death Riders, John Moxley and Claudio Cascioli taking on the Don Callis family members Konosuke Takeshita and Hechy Sero.
All right. That's the most energy I had for this.
[00:05:13] Speaker C: I am not familiar with. Bonnie. He's a delight.
[00:05:17] Speaker A: He is. So Ian is primarily the.
[00:05:22] Speaker B: You're unfamiliar. I missed it. You're unfamiliar with.
[00:05:25] Speaker A: Oh, ye.
[00:05:25] Speaker B: Very good body.
[00:05:27] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:05:27] Speaker A: I don't think. Yeah. Ian hasn't been on Dynamite in months, so. Yeah, suppose so.
Yeah.
[00:05:34] Speaker B: Oh, my God. I'm so excited for you.
Oh, my God.
[00:05:38] Speaker C: I lost my.
Later on this card when he. When
[00:05:45] Speaker A: we get there.
[00:05:46] Speaker B: Yeah.
Uhhuh. That's the Bone Zone. The Rick of Bone Zone. We're there. All right.
[00:05:51] Speaker A: So for the uninitiated, Ian Riccabani is the voice of Ring of Honor.
He has been one of them since before, I think Tony took over.
[00:06:00] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:06:02] Speaker A: And yeah, he. He's. It's called the Rickabone zone when he's there because.
And he's from Allentown, Pennsylvania, which is where he is.
[00:06:13] Speaker B: Like a school board member. Yeah. He's in his School seems like a pretty. He seems like a pretty. Pretty good guy.
[00:06:19] Speaker A: Blue sky poster, Phillies fan. He's okay.
[00:06:24] Speaker B: Yeah, no, I'm a fan. Big fan. Rick about it is awesome.
[00:06:27] Speaker A: And Rickabani.
[00:06:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:06:28] Speaker A: Give us money.
You're on tv. You can give us money.
[00:06:34] Speaker B: I don't need your money. I just. You're cool. You're fine.
[00:06:37] Speaker A: I think you should give me.
[00:06:39] Speaker B: You can give Erica money. I just think you're all right.
Yeah, for what? A reason?
If you want to resk this, you know, since you listen to it every week, you know, we're gonna tag him
[00:06:52] Speaker A: in this and he's gonna be like, who the are these losers?
We're gonna make him say anyway. Match. Here we go. Knife Death Riders.
Death Riders are the parking lot.
[00:07:08] Speaker B: It's fine. I got a knife. That's what you said. It's fine. I got a knife.
[00:07:11] Speaker A: So, okay, the Death Riders are out front of the arena. It's another very cool venue.
Very.
[00:07:18] Speaker C: God, yeah.
[00:07:19] Speaker A: Yeah. Very pretty arena with, like, elevated seating and fancy. I don't know how to describe it. There's, like, molding on stuff. I don't know. Anyway, they're out front.
Marina does her little slaps to Mox, and then, like, the rest of the Death Riders are, like, in a huddle. They're doing, like, it's adorable. Everybody in this match is super over.
[00:07:40] Speaker C: Oh, God. Yeah.
[00:07:41] Speaker A: Death Riders get a big pop. Hechy Sarah gets a big pop to catch. To get the big pop to catch. You just, like, aura farming on his entrance. Just, like, taking the mask off.
[00:07:51] Speaker B: He was on another level. I didn't think anything could get better than his old music, but this music is like, he, he's into it. I think. I think that Hechy Sero might be a raver.
[00:08:09] Speaker A: Music is good as.
[00:08:11] Speaker B: Yeah, like, Hetchy Sarah's into some. I, I, I want to, like, hang out with hetchisero at, like, a show. I feel like Hedgesero is into good music.
[00:08:21] Speaker A: Yeah, all the, all the good. Like Mexican electro clubs or something.
[00:08:27] Speaker C: This intro Ericone made me realize why you wifeied Takeshita. And I was like, oh, yeah.
[00:08:33] Speaker A: I would absolutely spin this, right? Absolutely.
[00:08:39] Speaker B: Has Tesha never knife him? Tesha has, in fact, been one of, like, just the. The hottest living things to ever exist for quite some time now. It's. It's really kind of scary.
He's just a beautiful man.
[00:08:57] Speaker C: Yeah. I also decided him so, like. Yeah, I get it.
[00:09:01] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. And he's got. He's got a goddamn black eye, which. Yes.
[00:09:07] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:09:07] Speaker A: Even better, huh?
So like I said, everyone's super over. We start with Hashi, Sarah and Claudia when they, you know, trade some grapples back and forth. But then like Hatchy share just kind of like gets out of a hold and just like shimmies away.
Daniel sends gas and both guys technical skills up on commentary.
[00:09:27] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, Dan, that's the thing. Not only is it rigor bones though, we got Danielson too.
[00:09:32] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:09:34] Speaker B: Come on.
This is.
[00:09:35] Speaker C: Yeah, it's so great. I love his commentary. I think it's. I love seeing.
Because he looks at it such a technical lens and the lines of a wrestler, it's just, it's really great.
[00:09:48] Speaker B: And he just, he's another one lawyer. Like, I. I love anyone who loves this.
[00:09:53] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:09:53] Speaker B: Like, I love this and this. That dude loves this.
[00:09:57] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:09:57] Speaker A: And he's got like the added, the added bonus of like as not just a wrestler, but like he's wrestled all these guys.
[00:10:04] Speaker B: Yeah, that too is like,
[00:10:08] Speaker C: what did he do? Did he do like the head scissors?
And he was just like, he did that to me and that sucks.
[00:10:19] Speaker A: Yeah, I wrote that down.
[00:10:20] Speaker C: Yeah, buddy.
[00:10:24] Speaker A: So he's so good.
Like, I just can't, like, I'm like, this match, like, I was trying not to take as many notes. I just kept taking notes because, like, cool kept happening. So like, Claudia, like tries to go for a neutralizer hatchet, flips him off and then gets that cazador. Great. Finds the legs and that sick leg lock.
[00:10:43] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. No, he. He like cross. He like crosses his legs over and then does the. The falling grapevine to like smashes like crossed up knees into each other. It was up. It looked like it would tear, like hurt so bad.
[00:11:00] Speaker A: And then he flips off mocks, which really.
[00:11:02] Speaker B: Yeah, well, yes. He conjured a bird for Jon Moxley. It was beautiful. Alchemy, sorcery of the finest kind
[00:11:10] Speaker A: that brings in the guys who are wrestling for 12 hours on Sunday.
Takesha and Max get in and. Yeah. God, like, the crowd just immediately is like, holy. Because they, they are into it. Everybody's into it.
[00:11:25] Speaker C: Can we talk quickly about how the crowd was a dud last week and this crowd is on fire.
[00:11:33] Speaker A: Yeah, they start very, very, very hot. Yeah, very hot.
[00:11:37] Speaker B: I just. Can we. I. I'm. Thank you for this beautiful, beautiful transition hampter that like, not that you actually like. I mean, I'm doing pretty good, but you didn't have anything to do with that, so. No, the, the. I swear to God, they listen to this show.
Like, they have to listen to this show because, like, last week we were like, you know, hey, guys, that was what were. I was doing there.
But I think it was everybody. That's the joke. Like, everyone was like, y', all, this was. This was like the first bad Dino. This is like the first not amazing dynamite. And I don't know when.
Which is a. A bat thing to say, but, like, I truly feel that way. Like, they're all bangers and they're like, okay, no, we. We cannot let that pass. And they got their together.
Everything about this show except for the end. We'll get there.
The end. I've. I've. It's that everything else, like, holy.
Holy. What a banger of a show.
[00:12:57] Speaker A: Yeah, no, it was really good. It was very good. I like this week. I like. I do. I do definitely think the crowd helped a lot. And. Yeah, I think it just needs to be said California is an AW territory at this point. Like, whenever they go anywhere on the west coast, it's hopping. It's a hopping thing. All right.
So the else happened. Oh, yeah. Where he's arrow hits that flying head scissor thing. And Danielson says, like, yeah, that sucks.
And then he mentions that he's familiar with wanting revenge on Jon Moxley.
[00:13:32] Speaker B: Yeah, very much so. Yeah. It gets it.
[00:13:35] Speaker A: The dynamic of this was kind of weird because the Death Riders are kind of faces and Don Callis family is like a face and a heel. But the Death Riders were definitely working heel. Yeah, they were during the commercial.
[00:13:48] Speaker B: Yeah, it's very weird.
[00:13:51] Speaker C: And the crowd loved.
It's so funny because the hate's Don Callis, but we're like cheering for both Hedgesero and Takeshita.
[00:14:01] Speaker B: Well, I took a bit of a note of that too. When Takeshita came out, it's like, like, it's like the Don Callis family is a heel. Except Takeshita.
Yeah, you know, except for you.
[00:14:15] Speaker A: Unlike Takeshita, I noticed that there was a very judicious use of Don Callis tonight.
And, yeah, the fact that he was not there, I think said a lot for this.
[00:14:28] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:14:29] Speaker A: And it comes up in the next match as well.
[00:14:32] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:14:33] Speaker A: So good.
[00:14:34] Speaker C: Good spot. I didn't think about that.
[00:14:36] Speaker A: But yeah, yeah, no, they. They were. They made sure not to have Don Callis at. Because they wanted people to cheer. They knew people wanted to cheer Hechicero. They wanted cheer Takeshita. And Takeshita is really actually moving to the face column.
Claudio wants a giant swing, and then Hatchisero launches him over the ropes. And then Hatchisero manages to get like, A hot tag. So they get Takeshita liner and a mox big hurricane Ron on Claudia, which is. It's incredible that Takeshita can still move like that now that he's, like, twice the size of what he was.
[00:15:10] Speaker C: He had an excellent leg lariat, too.
[00:15:12] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:15:13] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:15:13] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Takesh is kind of running wild before Max gets him in a sleeper, and Takeshi just turns that into a blue thunderbomb, which looked sick.
[00:15:22] Speaker C: Yeah, that was great.
[00:15:25] Speaker A: Power drive, knee gets blocked. And then they just trade elbows and big boots until Takeshita finally gets the knee. And then Claudia runs him down with the uppercut and mocks Larry hits him to death crossface.
And he tries bridging out. Transitions to another head scissor.
Gotch style gets blocked. Now he gets the power drive.
Claudio and Hetty Sarah come back in.
They're fighting more. Hechicero goes. He does this insane combo where he, like, goes. He like, just up Claudio's knee and then his arm at once.
[00:16:01] Speaker B: They're just like, yeah. Oh, God, it's a trio.
[00:16:04] Speaker C: It's like, yeah, I loved watching them. They're so good.
[00:16:10] Speaker A: And then Claudia shoves him back out, and they get to dive from the apron onto him. And Marina's making fun of Hatchisera with doing like, a little.
[00:16:17] Speaker C: Yeah,
[00:16:23] Speaker B: This is. This was over. Oh, all in all, it was just fantastic. Heel on heel violence, too. Like, this is really great, Great, great showing of the form. Yeah.
[00:16:36] Speaker A: So good.
Got Hetchy, sir. All right, so now Hechy Sarah's back in. He gets the. He trades some strikes with Claudio, and then he gets him in that rolling crucifix gator roll thing. They did that last week.
[00:16:50] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:16:50] Speaker A: And they're just like, God, he's rag dolling Claudio.
[00:16:54] Speaker C: Yeah, that's what. Yeah, that's what Danielson said. I was just like, okay.
[00:16:57] Speaker A: Yeah, I know Brian. I know Brian loves seeing that.
[00:17:04] Speaker C: Oh, God, it's great.
[00:17:05] Speaker A: Yeah. Claudia gets back up. Giant swing, only gets two. Crowd wants him to do it again.
He should do it again. He only did it for, like, three rotations.
God, what'd they do? They trade corner attacks, guillotine leg drop, backslide. Only gets two. Ref gets killed somehow and then clutter use the distraction. He pokes Hatchiseo in the eye, gets inside cradle, and the death steal the wind.
[00:17:29] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:17:30] Speaker B: Oh, the distraction was he didn't get. God. Somehow, like, Hetchy like, like, almost hit him in the corner and he, like, stopped and was very gentle. Mainly like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry, ref. Yeah, he turned around, and then he, like, turned around, and Claudio was like, got your eyeball.
[00:17:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:17:51] Speaker B: And then. Yeah, it was good enough for the pin. Yeah. That show is nuts.
[00:17:55] Speaker C: Heal On Heal. Violence.
[00:17:57] Speaker A: I loved it.
[00:17:58] Speaker C: Small package. Also. I.
I love me a small package.
You can't get out.
[00:18:04] Speaker B: Yeah, he's tied up tight.
[00:18:06] Speaker A: Wrap it up. All right.
Package.
All right.
Hey, so Death Rider.
[00:18:15] Speaker B: Safe Earth sex is what we're talking about. In case. I'm just. I'm just gonna spell it out.
[00:18:22] Speaker A: Condoms.
Lance Archer and Mark Davis come out, and they attack right away. And Don Callis is on the ramp directing traffic. Marina tries getting involved.
Archer shoulder tackles are, like, on her ass. And, like. Yeah, the sooner they do that match, the better because they have been going at each other since the new year.
[00:18:44] Speaker B: I need that to happen, so. Because he's just. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I. I like Lance Archer when he says everybody dies.
We.
Everyone equally die.
[00:19:02] Speaker A: Everyone dies.
[00:19:03] Speaker C: That would be a sick match. I.
I'm.
[00:19:06] Speaker B: I'm so.
[00:19:07] Speaker C: I think she's.
I think she's absolutely down to take him.
[00:19:11] Speaker A: He's that so much. Like, they have to do it. They have to, like, actually, like, meet in a match.
All right, what do we got next? All right, so, yeah, they. They're gonna. They take out Claudio, and they're gonna. They hand Tesh to a chair, and they're holding up boxes like, come on, do it. Yeah, kill the guy. And Tesha refuses.
[00:19:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:19:31] Speaker A: Because he's got to turn page.
[00:19:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:19:34] Speaker A: He's like, no, not this way. I. He. Yeah, he refuses to do it. And, like, they hold him again like, well, do you want to. Like, you don't want to kill. Do you want to at least kick him in the face? No, no, I don't want to do any of that.
[00:19:45] Speaker B: Not particularly, no.
[00:19:47] Speaker C: Not only does he not take the shot, but he stands up and he protects Mox.
[00:19:53] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:19:53] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:19:54] Speaker C: And that's when I was like, yes.
[00:19:56] Speaker A: Yep. He's a good boy. He's a good boy. He's remembering. He was remembering his. His son a comment days. Yeah. And being a good boy and ddt. And that means you only be a dick when you book the show yourself, and then you do it in an adorable way.
[00:20:13] Speaker C: Takeshita. Takeshita is the son Don had and is just a disappointment.
[00:20:19] Speaker B: Yeah.
Come on, Takeshita. Remember. Remember when you. You first got there and you first got taken in under. Under Callus's wings, and you and Mox showed you how to blade right in front of the. The camera?
[00:20:38] Speaker C: They're gonna do a retrospective, gonna sit him down.
It's gonna be like A Clockwork Orange where they're forcing his eyes open. It's a video package of him being a heel. Yeah. His early days with the Don Callis
[00:20:52] Speaker B: family, he's like, look at soup man. So this is really gonna piss Meltzer off. So I want you to look right into the camera.
[00:21:03] Speaker A: I genuinely can't wait for Takashi to go full face again. Yeah, I'm gonna be excited for it. It's been. It's been so long. And he was such a natural baby face when he first came over at his DDT days. And it's just like, oh, man, I missed that especially because, like, he's like a full blown face of DDT whenever he shows up.
And he just wrestles like the comedy wrestlers because he can't.
[00:21:28] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:21:29] Speaker A: We go to the back. Renee is with Willow, Nightingale and Persephone. Persephone's from cmll and she has just recently defeated Mercedes Monet for the CMLL women's title.
I don't know if there's any other qualifiers to that because I don't know enough about CNL to know if it's like the women's welterweight or the historic women's or the modern women's or. I don't know, other things. Anyway, she's. She's wrestling Willow tonight for the TBS title. And they say, hey, we have something in common. We beat Mercedes. Like, yeah, it's fun.
And they'll be like, well, I would like to add the TBS title to my collection. He's like, yeah, we'll see about that. And P says, yeah, we'll see about that. And figures. A TBS title and it's very lesbian. I'm into it.
[00:22:22] Speaker B: I'm here for it. I'm absolutely here for it.
[00:22:25] Speaker A: Being bisexual is great, isn't it, though?
[00:22:27] Speaker B: And also, I'm only vaguely familiar with Persephone, but Gar.
[00:22:41] Speaker C: Yeah, she was great.
[00:22:44] Speaker A: She is attractive and cool and. Let's go, let's go.
[00:22:50] Speaker B: Yeah. Hey, what if. What? What if Tecla was from the Paso and I'm just over here, like, truly, I'm here for it. The passo. Let's go.
[00:23:05] Speaker A: All right, so we come over to Don. Callis is hyping up Kyle Fletcher for his match.
He actually calls him Kyle, by God, Fletcher. That does not bode well for Kyle.
[00:23:20] Speaker C: Is it the by God of doom?
[00:23:22] Speaker A: Yeah, because. Yeah, because Callous was the one that coined calling Kenny Kenny, by God, Omega.
And now he's passed the title on okay. Whenever he. Whenever he passes a Kenny title on to somebody, then he's like, it spells disaster.
The numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you.
[00:23:46] Speaker C: Oh, ominous.
[00:23:48] Speaker B: I mean, 125% chance even.
[00:23:53] Speaker A: Even just like Takeshita's nickname is the Alpha because.
[00:23:57] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:23:57] Speaker A: Because Kenny is Omega.
[00:23:59] Speaker B: The Omega.
[00:24:00] Speaker A: Yeah, the Omega.
[00:24:01] Speaker C: Interesting.
[00:24:03] Speaker A: Yeah. So MJF shows up and he calls Kyle Fletcher a beautiful man, which is true. And he wants Kyle to beat the out of Mike Bailey for kicking him in the face last week. And Fletcher tells him, I don't take orders from Max. You.
[00:24:19] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm gonna be interested.
Yeah. So bad for me.
[00:24:25] Speaker A: Oh, me.
Australia.
[00:24:33] Speaker B: It's okay. I've got a knife.
It's fine. I got a knife.
[00:24:39] Speaker A: Next week everybody's gonna have knives, aren't they?
[00:24:41] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:24:44] Speaker A: Max just kind of steps passive, goes Don and says, you know, teach your boys how to speak to the world champion.
Kyle says, we better not be working for mjf. And Don just said, don't worry. You're pretty little head about it.
[00:24:57] Speaker C: Yeah. So here absolutely are. Why. What. What is this? Why is he working for anybody, let alone MJF and Don just like, don't
[00:25:06] Speaker A: worry about it, kid.
Yeah.
[00:25:11] Speaker B: Yay.
[00:25:15] Speaker C: That's good.
[00:25:17] Speaker B: I love this podcast. God damn it.
[00:25:21] Speaker A: No, I. I don't. I don't know. I don't know why necessarily they're doing this. I guess it's. We'll see what happens come revolution.
[00:25:28] Speaker C: But it has to do with something with the gold. I don't know.
Like, so they're. So Don Callis is working with for mjf.
Theoretically.
[00:25:39] Speaker A: I mean, they. They have like, he. MJF put a bounty out and.
[00:25:44] Speaker C: Oh, that's right.
[00:25:45] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:25:47] Speaker A: Downcast collected. So I don't know. We'll have to keep an eye on it. But we also got to keep an eye on. Next, the TNT Championships Speedball. Mike Bailey challenging Kyle Fletcher Rematch from the Continental Classic, where they like pretty much had like a. In December Match of the year candidate.
[00:26:12] Speaker B: Yeah.
Yeah. Was amazing. It. It was in. I think that. I think that made my. My, my top 10. I'm pretty sure I made my time.
[00:26:23] Speaker A: I think it was in my top 10, too. Like that.
[00:26:25] Speaker B: I think if I. I think it made a lot of people stop.
[00:26:29] Speaker A: Yeah. Like that. That one was just good. And like, I know it was recency bias, but like, God damn. They like, they. They have. And this match showed they have such good chemistry together.
[00:26:39] Speaker B: Really, truly nuts.
[00:26:42] Speaker C: I was blessed because I think I saw this was one of like The. The cup handful of episodes I saw at the end of 2025.
[00:26:51] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, that's right. Because we got you watching around them too, didn't we?
[00:26:55] Speaker C: Yeah, because I was. I managed to get in for the. The continental classic.
[00:27:01] Speaker B: Yes.
Well, that folks write it down. That's how you get your hampter creature.
Yes.
You sit them down and you say this here's a C2 and. And. And there you go.
[00:27:18] Speaker C: Your pupils just blow out.
Brain begins, gets rewired.
[00:27:25] Speaker B: It was a magical fan tastic. Yep. So now we know. There you go.
How to train your hampter.
[00:27:34] Speaker A: Speedball channels their inner Canadian hero and gives a child his. Their headband.
[00:27:40] Speaker C: Oh, cute.
[00:27:41] Speaker A: To the ring. It was very adorable. And they also take the time to announce that Mystico will team with jet speed to challenge the for the trios titles at revolution.
[00:27:52] Speaker C: Trios titles.
[00:27:54] Speaker A: Yay.
I don't know what to think of that match. It should be good. I don't know who should win. Probably no one. It should probably.
I don't care about the trials. I care about seeing that match looking cool though. And this is where I feel the other.
[00:28:09] Speaker B: I. I think I'm fine. If the trio titles are become just a great excuse to see six people that you wouldn't normally see.
[00:28:20] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:28:21] Speaker B: Have a banger.
I think that's fine. Popcorn it.
[00:28:26] Speaker C: Yeah, I think it's going to be more. This is my. This is my Hampton Sero prediction 2026 that they're going to do.
[00:28:34] Speaker B: The orb is substantial.
[00:28:35] Speaker C: Yeah.
The. The thick, thick puffy clouds of. Of dank smoke come roiling out as I speak. Truth.
[00:28:46] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:28:48] Speaker C: I think they're going to do something more substantial with it. Hot take.
[00:28:51] Speaker B: I hope so.
[00:28:52] Speaker A: I hope so. Nice. Even if it is just hot shotting in a batch of times. That'd be nice.
Anyway, this is the other thing I noted about Don Callis's presence or lack thereof. Don does not come out with Kyle.
[00:29:06] Speaker B: Oh, interesting.
[00:29:07] Speaker C: He didn't.
[00:29:08] Speaker A: Kyle gets a big pop because Dom's not there.
[00:29:11] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:29:12] Speaker A: Don comes. Don kind of stealths his way out.
[00:29:15] Speaker C: He did.
[00:29:16] Speaker A: Goes to commentary, like right on the way on his own.
[00:29:20] Speaker C: Did he come in from the back or. They just might have been. When he was. They were focused on Kyle.
[00:29:25] Speaker A: Probably when the camera was off Kyle.
[00:29:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:29:28] Speaker C: So I didn't.
[00:29:29] Speaker A: Camera was off the entrance ramp because. Yeah. I did not see him come in. I saw him get to the desk, but I didn't see where he came from.
[00:29:35] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:29:36] Speaker A: He gets it. Even Fletcher gets an even bigger pop when he Takes his pants off.
[00:29:40] Speaker C: God. Yes.
[00:29:41] Speaker A: Like, yeah.
[00:29:42] Speaker C: This whole fit was fire.
[00:29:44] Speaker A: Yeah. He looked like a star on that entrance.
[00:29:48] Speaker B: Like, good, Good job, Protostar. If you.
[00:29:50] Speaker A: We, if you will, baby.
[00:29:55] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:29:57] Speaker A: All right. Yeah. They both start really fast and, like, neither a guy can land in a big hit, but Mike Bailey is decides that he's gonna go after Fletcher's arm. And he locks in an arm bar, forcing Fletcher to go right for the ropes.
And they go to the floor. Fletcher wants a lawn dart speedball works their way out, sends Fletcher into the stairs instead, and then gets another flying arm bar on the floor. And that's like the early governments, like, he's there, they're just gonna kick the out of Fletcher's arm and try and get his submission or at least keep Fletcher.
[00:30:30] Speaker B: Not a bad way of doing it. Yeah, I found it getting his in.
[00:30:34] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:30:35] Speaker C: Yeah. Thought it was interesting that I, I don't, I don't suppose he's, I'm, I think he, I feel that he's a face, but he was.
I suppose it's not specifically heal to focus on an opponent's like, one body part, but it's usually kind of.
So, But I, I, it can be
[00:30:55] Speaker B: done in a heelish manner. Okay.
[00:30:57] Speaker A: It looks, it can look mean. Yeah. But, yeah, baby faces do that.
[00:31:00] Speaker C: Gotcha.
[00:31:01] Speaker A: Especially, I mean, in this.
[00:31:03] Speaker B: It's just good psychology. Yeah. Like, it's just good ring psychology. You work on a guy'.
[00:31:09] Speaker A: If you.
[00:31:10] Speaker B: I feel like historically it's like, if you, if your finisher focuses is like a submission or, or something that focuses on a specific body part, you spend the match working up to the finish working on that body part to further sell why the guy gave up. So it's like a way to be like, yeah, the guy gave up, but, I mean, did you. He was working his knee. Can you blame him? He was working his knee the whole whole match. So, like, he's still a tough guy, you know, but, you know, of course he had to tap out. He was gonna, he was gonna injure him, you know. God. You know, so, like, that's, so that's the psychology of it. Theoretically, if, if I were Bully Ray or who the ever you know, I
[00:31:54] Speaker C: mean, speedball is also smaller, but Kyle's still very fast and very strong, so hobbling him that way is an excellent.
[00:32:05] Speaker B: Why does Kyle Fletcher, the, the theoretically used to be a twink, not eat the smaller wrestler?
[00:32:12] Speaker A: I don't know.
I, that's the thing about Fletcher is, like, he's so young. Like, he actually did have a Growth spurt between.
[00:32:20] Speaker B: Yeah, no.
[00:32:24] Speaker A: God. I think, like, I, the last time I'd seen him wrestle regularly with Ozzy Open was like pre Covid years.
And then they showed up in New Japan when they, like, removed like the audience restrictions and he's just like, who's that huge guy next to Mark Davis?
And then he just kept getting bigger and now he's possibly on the gas. But, you know,
[00:32:52] Speaker B: I realize I shouldn't.
I, I, I'd say I always say it jokingly and I, like, sometimes I feel bad. But also like 1-800-555- come on now or whatever.
Come on now.
[00:33:10] Speaker A: I mean, there is like, I'm, I'm, I am willing to concede that he probably does have a better workout regimen because, like.
[00:33:16] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:33:17] Speaker A: Takesh. Takeshita also used to be like a kind of a small guy, but like, when he got, when they pushed him with Don Callis, he put on a lot of muscle and that's why he's like such a beefy guy right now.
[00:33:31] Speaker B: Yep. This is also true.
[00:33:33] Speaker A: So.
[00:33:33] Speaker B: Yeah, because let's not forget Don Callis has a size thing.
[00:33:40] Speaker A: Like, he's a size queen.
[00:33:41] Speaker B: He's a size queen. Yeah.
[00:33:42] Speaker A: Stud.
[00:33:43] Speaker C: Every time he uses the word stud, I kind of shiver.
[00:33:46] Speaker B: Well, not in a good way.
He just like it, it, it's got to be intentional at this point.
[00:33:55] Speaker C: It is.
[00:33:56] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:33:57] Speaker A: Oh, no.
[00:33:57] Speaker B: Yeah, he's doing the Tobias Funke thing where he's just like, he doesn't understand that. He just has this ever expanding stable of beefy men.
[00:34:12] Speaker C: Beefier all the time.
[00:34:14] Speaker A: Have you given any thought to challenging for the women's title document, having a, Having any women in your family? No. No. Oh, okay.
[00:34:21] Speaker B: No. Why not? No. Jesus.
[00:34:24] Speaker C: Oh, no. Why would I do that? That's. That's so gross.
[00:34:32] Speaker A: In the dog callous family, we have to keep our locker room cootie free.
[00:34:44] Speaker C: Sure.
[00:34:44] Speaker B: Somewhere in the back, Rocky Romero's just losing his.
[00:34:53] Speaker C: Vaguely like. Speaking of that, that energy is brought into this match as well because Don is also on commentary and there are.
And it's very dawn flavored. And Danielson gets in on, in licks on him. And there's a lot of back and forth and talks of, like, over the table, which was very good.
[00:35:15] Speaker A: There's like a whole section where they're talking about, like, Don, what strategy did you give Kyle when you came into this match? He's like, well, I instilled in him my hate for the French. Canadians
[00:35:27] Speaker C: just beat his face in.
Danielson, did you advise your guy to lay on the flooring. Just get a count out.
Get him.
[00:35:40] Speaker A: So little Speedy actually has the advantage through most of the early part of the match.
Yeah, they're. They're able to cut off pretty much anything. Fletcher gets going until Bailey misses a Buzz Buzzsaw kick. And then.
Christ. Yeah, Then Kyle just like, dumps him on his head with the half and half suplex.
[00:36:03] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:36:04] Speaker B: Oh, God.
[00:36:05] Speaker C: And that was like, pretty deep into the match too. Like, he'll. He did a few things. He did a power, like a. What did he do? A body slam to get out of his. Get away from him. But even.
[00:36:18] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:36:18] Speaker C: Then can Bailey went after him.
[00:36:22] Speaker A: He kept doing, like, little power things, but, yeah, he just kept coming at him. And it was like. They even say, like, you know, Kyle's got the strength, but he can't keep up with the speed.
[00:36:34] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:36:34] Speaker A: And that was kind of like the difference maker early on.
They trade kicks in the middle of the ring until speedball just destroys Kyle with the spinning back heel kick, which Ian incorrectly identified as a question mark kick. It wasn't. And it wasn't. We're holding you to account.
[00:36:56] Speaker C: Oh, what was it?
[00:36:57] Speaker B: Oh, whoa.
[00:36:58] Speaker A: It was a. It was a spinning back heel kick, not a question mark.
[00:37:02] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:37:02] Speaker A: Question mark kick is a very specific thing.
[00:37:05] Speaker C: That time it is ass. Erica.
[00:37:07] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Ian, I'm pointing at the mic.
[00:37:09] Speaker C: I don't know why notice.
[00:37:16] Speaker A: This.
[00:37:21] Speaker B: Seriously, though, we love you. Please, please boost the pod.
[00:37:26] Speaker A: It's going really bad for Fletcher. He's trying to get another lawn dart on the apron. And speedball does a poison run onto the hardest part of the ring as the crowd chants Don Callis ice, too.
[00:37:44] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:37:45] Speaker B: Oh, I love it. I love it. I love it.
I love that. It just keeps adapting in adapting to, like, keep finding a way to be, like, getting itself in there. It's like. No, no, no.
Ice is just a wrestling chant now.
Like, let's go.
Oh, my God.
[00:38:15] Speaker A: Do it louder.
Oh, man, I can't wait for the pay per view now.
[00:38:24] Speaker C: I wanna.
[00:38:24] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:38:24] Speaker C: Through all of this, Kyle is selling really well, too. His arm.
[00:38:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:38:29] Speaker C: Also because he's getting worked on.
[00:38:33] Speaker A: Yeah, he's gotta sell the arm because Bailey won't let him breathe on it because he keeps kicking him in the arm. He keeps going for arm bars. He gets, like, a thing. Yeah.
[00:38:44] Speaker B: It's like you keep doing all. You do a lot of this stuff where you pick me up real high and you drop me on my head, and I'm gonna make do that there you.
[00:38:55] Speaker A: That's the Other.
[00:38:56] Speaker C: Those little guys can get height and air.
[00:38:58] Speaker A: Y.
[00:38:58] Speaker C: They're just so light.
[00:39:00] Speaker A: Yeah. Other part of psychology. Take your opponent's weapons away.
[00:39:04] Speaker B: He even.
[00:39:04] Speaker A: Even does. Bailey even does this.
[00:39:06] Speaker B: See, we're. We're professionals.
[00:39:09] Speaker A: They get Fletcher on the ropes and he. They do this diving knee strike on the. Fletcher's arm and shoulder. Yeah. Who knew?
So, yeah, they're. They're just. They're just. He just going at them. It's.
They have amazing chemistry.
Like, I. I have so many notes on this.
[00:39:30] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:39:31] Speaker A: Fletcher gets a last ride. Power bomb countered. And then on the floor, Don Callis runs away from speedball Mike Bailey, which is really nice because he's not.
[00:39:44] Speaker C: When he goes full idf. Yeah.
[00:39:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
Wow.
[00:39:50] Speaker B: Yeah. No, that. No, no, no. I mean, just you're. You're. You're right.
Like, he did that thing he did.
[00:39:58] Speaker C: He said. He said human shields. He's like. Ian's like, why are you. What am I gonna do? Why are you hiding behind me? Sorry, Erica.
[00:40:07] Speaker A: Caught me off guard.
He said it in chat.
[00:40:12] Speaker B: I know.
[00:40:17] Speaker C: Surely not. The.
[00:40:18] Speaker B: Surely they won't. Surely they won't say that on Mike.
[00:40:21] Speaker A: No, I totally forgot about it because.
[00:40:30] Speaker B: Oh, no. I'm sorry. I've tried to laugh at the horrors because there's so many horrors.
[00:40:36] Speaker A: Yeah. It is a triangle moonsault from bailey at the 10 minute mark.
They missed the Ultima weapon. They go to the apron. Fletcher charges. Yeah, it's like. Like, it's a lot of, like, Fletcher trying to get momentum and Speedo being like, no tm. And away I go. I'll just twinkle toes because he's got no shoes on.
[00:40:57] Speaker C: He's got no boots.
[00:40:58] Speaker A: Cazadora gets two, and then Fletcher finally catches Bailey, like, on a DDD DDT attempt and just tosses the little fella with a lawn dart and just starts punching the chef, I guess. The running quarter kick, Brain buster gets countered into a sleeper. A transition to an arm bar moonsault double knees, Buzzsaw kick only to Bailey. Transitions to an arm bar triangle choke. Fletcher powers out into a liger bomb. Like, he just, like, stands up with his arm extended and just, like, pops him up.
Liger bomb, two count.
[00:41:38] Speaker B: It was nuts.
[00:41:40] Speaker A: It just. It just. It keep. It just keeps. It goes. It goes like. I kept trying. Like, when can I stop taking notes? I can't. And they're just beating the. Out of each other.
[00:41:50] Speaker B: I feel like it picks up momentum. Like, it starts off kind of slow. And I was like, I feel like this isn't going as hard and as Fast and, like, the work rates, like, different, you know, than. Than the C2. But that's true. That's correct.
Because, like, the C2 is. Is insanity. Like, it by design. And this, like, was more of a.
A slow burn, and then it started to ramp up as they're like, jesus Christ, I gotta put this down. And, like, I love that kind of match. And these guys. Oh, my God.
[00:42:27] Speaker C: Displays.
[00:42:28] Speaker B: I think the Michinoku driver in its variants might be my favorite wrestling move.
What? It's one of. It's in my top five. And I, like, since I was a child, because I love Takamichi.
[00:42:42] Speaker C: No.
[00:42:45] Speaker A: Awesome.
[00:42:46] Speaker B: Oh, my God. Ever since I was a wee one in. In, like, 1997, whenever Vince tried to make the Light Heavyweight champion thing happen because they were doing cruiser weights and. And eating his lunch over at Nitro. Sorry. We killed the. We killed the Monday pod in Taco.
[00:43:04] Speaker C: Still lives on.
[00:43:05] Speaker B: It still lives on. Well, it's history. It's our history, damn it. It's our canon.
What do we, like this thing we do? Oh, God. That's a different separate thing. Did y' all see the dirt sheets about Triple H possibly future endeavoring at, like, the end of the year? Oh, I saw a dirt sheet. It probably was nothing if y' all didn't see it, but I saw an article on the Internet that made me just about where there was some. I didn't actually read it. It's just a headline where, like, Triple H looking to leave at the end of the year. And I was like, I don't know, but that would be disgusting.
No, he married him.
[00:43:45] Speaker C: Who? Yeah, yeah. Like the family would let you go. Where are you going to go?
[00:43:51] Speaker B: Like, nowhere.
[00:43:53] Speaker A: All about that place we're talking about.
I'm sorry, I have the knife. And we're not talking about that other place.
Let your CF outside at the. They get to the five minute mark, and Bailey's trying to work a Kimura lock on the top rope. And then he just settles for an avalanche poison Rana, and then hits time. Adventure kick. And it's like, such a close two count that Don Callis preemptively throws his headset to have a temper tantrum.
[00:44:25] Speaker B: Yes.
I never even finished my thought, though. So real quickly, point being, the Michinoku driver rules, and Kyle Fletcher's Michinoku driver is the current reigning champion. Like, Jesus fucking Christ. The one he hit on Bailey tonight was.
It looked like a. It looked like a video game.
It was. I was expecting the, like, the graphics of, like, the, like. Like anime, like, Kind of like. Like. Like a literal Meteora type thing. Like it was just right. What the is going on?
[00:45:01] Speaker A: Because like what the.
[00:45:02] Speaker B: You hovered.
[00:45:04] Speaker A: That was pretty much like the next sequence. And like I really did think about when Taka was younger. He would do his. He does his taunt where he like kind of gestures like he's doing the. The.
It looked like that.
[00:45:17] Speaker B: Yeah. No, he looked like that. Like he hit it picture perfect.
[00:45:21] Speaker A: He like lift it up.
Bang. It was disgusting. But Mike Bailey kicks out at two,
[00:45:28] Speaker B: which in itself was disgusting.
[00:45:33] Speaker A: Yeah. The whole. The whole crowd been on that.
[00:45:36] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:45:37] Speaker A: Fletcher keeps trying for the brain buster.
Bailey counters it into that. The same roll up that he won the C2 match with kicks. Out of two crowds going nuts. Danielson is marking out.
Yeah.
[00:45:52] Speaker B: Danielson.
Yeah.
[00:45:57] Speaker A: Bailey gets another huge spinning heel kick.
They're looking for the flamingo driver. And then Okada appears with a screwdriver.
[00:46:06] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:46:07] Speaker B: Ref is distracted in the crowd. Yeah.
[00:46:11] Speaker A: Mark Davis appears. Slides trio's title belt to Kyle.
Kyle Decks Bailey with it. Sheer drop brain buster. And that's all.
Crowd is no longer cherry for Kyle Fletcher. They are very upset.
[00:46:26] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:46:28] Speaker A: That was.
That was such a good match.
[00:46:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:46:33] Speaker B: With the baddies. Yeah.
[00:46:35] Speaker A: Yeah. Like I'm. I'm fine with the finish, but like damn, that was good.
[00:46:40] Speaker C: I want to point out one of my favorite is at Fletcher goes to Donnie's. Like I got you. Don. Don't. Don't worry about it. I got you. And speedball triangle moonsaults right into his face.
It was. Is right before like the. The big kickoff, but I just thought that was.
[00:47:05] Speaker B: So what's that? Huh? What'd you say about Kebaquan now?
Yeah.
[00:47:12] Speaker C: Don't worry. Don't worry, boss. I got you. Don't worry.
Ball to the face.
[00:47:18] Speaker A: Like it was just. It was such a good match and like you understand why they did the interference because there was no way Bailey was losing that match the way it was going.
Like they had Fletcher's number through the entire match. And the only reason Fletcher was in. In it towards the end was because he just like I have to willpower myself to just absorb these kicks to the face so I can Mitch a Noku driver.
I have to get kicked in the
[00:47:49] Speaker B: face to get so that I can do the sickest. Yeah, well, it's like. It's like a breaker, you know, like he hit the combo breaker.
[00:47:57] Speaker C: Basically enough kick you. You finally get to do the Michinoku driver.
[00:48:04] Speaker B: Yep. And it just like hits a crit like. Yeah.
[00:48:08] Speaker C: The crowd is also at. Like, towards. At that when it all started, or I think towards the end, they just start chanting fight Forever.
Fletcher's probably like, Jesus, please don't.
[00:48:21] Speaker B: That's. Oh, it was. Is that baby's first Fight Forever chant?
[00:48:25] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:48:26] Speaker B: That's literally what the AEW video game is called. Is called Fight Forever.
Old wrestling champ. That's a ROH thing. Is that. That's an old Ring of Honor thing. I think that's something that came over from roh.
[00:48:39] Speaker A: It migrated to NXT and then.
[00:48:42] Speaker B: Cool.
[00:48:43] Speaker A: So big heel win, great match. Everybody's pissed at the finish, but, like, kind of good pissed, I think. Nobody's like, I have been cheated out of heat.
[00:48:52] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:53] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:48:54] Speaker C: I mean, I. I feel cheated, but I'm a mark, so.
[00:48:58] Speaker B: Yeah.
Nice.
[00:49:04] Speaker A: All right. Hey, you guys like standby matches? Because Brody King has a standby match.
[00:49:10] Speaker C: I love Brody.
[00:49:12] Speaker B: Feed Brody. Feed Brody.
[00:49:16] Speaker C: This guy didn't get an intro?
[00:49:18] Speaker B: No, they got the Jobber entrance that's literally called the Jobberry.
[00:49:22] Speaker A: They didn't even say his name. Brody was pissed off because he didn't want to have a standby match. He's in his street clothes. He takes off his jacket, his shirt. He clotheslines the. Out of this little guy who goes running at him, and he hits the Godzilla bomb. And that's it. That's it. That's all there is doing.
[00:49:38] Speaker C: The Hangman
[00:49:41] Speaker A: says that the guy's name is Gia. Jewel. Jewel.
[00:49:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:49:46] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:49:47] Speaker C: Good for him, I guess.
[00:49:48] Speaker A: Good for him. He's dead.
The story prior to this was that Brody had been looking for Swerve all throughout San Jose.
So after he kills the little guy, he's checking around the crowd for him, and then he completely misses the guy with the chain wearing his. His. His. His balacava. Who. It's. It's Swerve. And he jumps out, he attacks Brody with the chain.
[00:50:19] Speaker B: I got my hanging chain.
[00:50:21] Speaker A: Yep, he's got his hanging chain for
[00:50:22] Speaker B: which to hang people.
[00:50:24] Speaker A: And he's going to choke Brody with it some more. But Brody. He got Brody down on the ring, and Brody stands up and takes his hands, puts it around the chain around his neck, and breaks the chain with his bare hand.
What a animal.
[00:50:39] Speaker C: I go wild.
I lost my.
[00:50:42] Speaker A: I. I know. I know.
[00:50:43] Speaker B: It's.
[00:50:44] Speaker A: I know it's a gimmick chain, but that was cool as hell.
[00:50:47] Speaker B: Yeah. No, it's still cool as hell. Yeah, like, make him a superhero. Do it. No, Kings.
Oh, yes.
[00:50:57] Speaker A: Swerve. Swerve does, like, a thing where he's just kind of just like, oh, yeah.
[00:51:04] Speaker B: Hey, I was using that.
[00:51:07] Speaker C: Kill you with that.
[00:51:10] Speaker B: The thing I used to hurt people.
[00:51:12] Speaker A: He gets it. Gets. Yeah. He broke the chain that Hangman gave him.
[00:51:16] Speaker B: Yeah, that was my boy. Yeah. It was my boyfriend's hanging. Hanging gift.
[00:51:20] Speaker C: Oh, my God. It was his bff.
[00:51:22] Speaker A: Oh, my God.
[00:51:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:51:24] Speaker A: Yep, yep.
Yeah. Birdie throws swear around a bit, hits the cannonball. Senton Proud is bellowing ice as he wraps the chain around his arm and does the Hangman sleeper from the rope swear.
Just like.
This is not going well.
This. Great facial expressions.
[00:51:50] Speaker B: Yeah. I thought you weren't you just. Alice, weren't you just that Alistair Crowley dude's heavy. What the. Like, I know you're gonna, like, kick my ass. Like, oh, no, this was. This was good, good, good wrestling.
[00:52:13] Speaker A: And I think they're gonna play up Brody having a bit of an arm injury come to the. The pay per view. But, yeah, swerve and not ahead for the hills.
[00:52:22] Speaker C: So first of all, finally, like, why are you telling me that you are the most dangerous man in a W and not showing me what the. Like, okay, so I saw you fight. God. Who did I see him fight against? But I'm like, mjf. But I'm like, what are you. Yeah, show me how dangerous.
[00:52:43] Speaker A: The implication was not that he was the most dangerous man because of what he does in the ring. It was because they were. That at the same week they. They had been doing the whole drama about. Because. Because of the. The ice chance.
[00:52:56] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:52:57] Speaker A: So it was like, oh, man, Brody King is gonna cost AEW sponsors, and they should be politically neutral.
Dangerous because he wore an abolished ice shirt in Mexico.
[00:53:09] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[00:53:10] Speaker A: And, like, was donating proceeds of that shirt to Minnesota Rent Assistance.
[00:53:17] Speaker B: Appreciate you, buddy. Thank you so much.
And that being said, everyone, quick corner, uh, merchandise corner. You can still buy stuff and donate money to people who still need rent. My piece of mayor vetoed a thing that our city council passed to make people pause for, like, just give people a longer time before they get evicted. It's not even a full, like, pause. It was just give them longer time from 60 to 90 days. That was it. And my piece of Democrat mirror.
Like, no, we can't. We can't be doing that.
What the.
Like, I want you to understand, I want homeless people so I can kill them. It's how I get off.
So anyways, back to the wrestling.
You can. You can donate to help that not happen, uh, in all the links and stuff. So thank you, Brody King, for being
[00:54:13] Speaker A: a bad stuff down there.
[00:54:15] Speaker B: Yes. Go check the show notes.
[00:54:19] Speaker A: So, uh, to the back. Renee's with speedball.
Ask them how they're going to prepare to rebound after losing the trios titles and to Kyle.
And speedball says, well, it sucks, but they're not going to make excuses. They're going to make excuses about how Kyle needed to cheat because that's not who they are. And they need to look forward because he and Kevin knight are going to team with mystico and they're gonna put the don callis family on notice. They'll get exactly what they deserve.
A good promo.
[00:54:48] Speaker C: Oh, lots of fire before we get too far ahead. Just running. Going back real quick to the. To the king and swerve like, little fight. I just wanted to see Brody just be more aggressive. Like, I want to see him as a threat to swerve as opposed to just, like, big guy who can, like, move and take hits, you know what I mean?
I really liked it because it made him look cool.
[00:55:13] Speaker B: Made him look like a fucking superhero, I guess.
[00:55:15] Speaker A: You haven't seen a lot of Brody King, have you?
[00:55:18] Speaker C: Not a ton.
[00:55:19] Speaker A: Brody was kind of. Up until last year, I guess Brody was kind of just this guy that was the heater for Malachi black, who had, like, a fake satanist gimmick.
[00:55:35] Speaker C: Okay.
The light switch flicky thing where the lights flicker.
[00:55:41] Speaker A: Yes. Malachi would flicker the lights, and whenever black was hurt, because black was hurt all the time, they would put. Bro. They would just, like, put Brody out. And birdie would have great matches. Birdie was in the first C2 and almost his block because he just had awesome matches with Claudio and Eddie Kingston, and he would like that kind of.
[00:56:08] Speaker B: I think it's safe to say that first C2 is where everyone first went.
Brody King, huh? Like. Like, wait a minute.
[00:56:16] Speaker A: King's a singles wrestler, huh?
[00:56:18] Speaker B: Yeah. I didn't realize. Brody King, real hard. Real hard.
Like the.
[00:56:24] Speaker A: The.
[00:56:25] Speaker B: That cannonball senton in the corner like that.
[00:56:27] Speaker C: Yeah, that is.
[00:56:30] Speaker B: He's doing that on a weekly basis on the C2. And every single time, I was like, me as a big boy, Huge boy.
[00:56:40] Speaker A: He fits a really good niche because aw's got a lot of smaller guys, but he's a bigger guy who can work. So you put him.
You let him have good matches, you let him have competitive matches. Now he's like, kind of bumping into, like, the upper mid card, so. Good for him.
Yeah.
All right. Hey, we got a tag match. Orange Cassidy and Darby Allen versus the dogs.
[00:57:07] Speaker B: Twink patrol versus Dog patrol versus
[00:57:13] Speaker A: Dave. Dave Finley makes His dynamite wrestling debut with Gabe Kid.
And they do a little recap. Yeah. As kindergarten ready Gabe kids out camper and Gabe scampering game.
[00:57:27] Speaker C: Am I the only one who's just like man do we do we need more of. I mean I. I inevitably love like the match but I just.
I don't know. I. I can only watch Orange Cassidy and a small boy get beat the out of every Wednesday till I'm just like.
Though I guess that will change.
[00:57:48] Speaker A: I miss Orange Cassidy's singles matches but yeah.
[00:57:52] Speaker B: Because like they. They always deliver.
I don't know. Because I think they're. I think what I feel like probably what happened in my mind what happened my head cat and because apparently a handful of y' all want to know the. The. The Toni Storm thing happened and it's like man, you can just tag team Gold anyone.
[00:58:14] Speaker A: Huh?
[00:58:15] Speaker B: What do we do with this little piece of twink with the gations that we don't want to get rid of for some reason and everyone pops for that. That Ella will never understand.
What with the skateboard and the sting.
I'm so mad. He did. He did. He did. Oh yeah he did.
He did the. And I'm like you don't get to do that.
You don't get. You don't get to know cell and hold on to the.
The death lock like that. Like to the kick. You don't get. That's only for Sting.
You he did it though.
But yeah, that's either here nor there.
Yeah. I think they're like we need to do something with them. So let's just. Let's give him capacity. Yeah.
[00:59:08] Speaker A: They want him to be over. He is over.
I wish I had something I could do about that, but I can't. So I would like him to do something interesting for a change and not the same old. That has been my thing. I want him to stop doing the same old. Because I can't do anything about people putting him on TV despite, you know, allegations.
[00:59:32] Speaker B: Nothing I can do about that. The least you could do is be it more entertaining and you're just not.
[00:59:38] Speaker A: Yeah. So they just kind of. They just kind of brawl after Gabe does his little scamper. And they essentially just isolate Orange Cassidy for most of the match.
Their tag teaming.
[00:59:52] Speaker B: Yeah. He just gets his ass kicked the whole time.
[00:59:54] Speaker C: It really does
[00:59:57] Speaker B: somebody fans not. Not. Not doing great.
[01:00:02] Speaker A: Yeah. The crowd is chatting at Gabe Kid. Little dick big ears.
[01:00:06] Speaker C: Yes.
He comes back around.
He comes back around afterwards and he them all off.
[01:00:12] Speaker B: And it was like what if it was Dave Meltzer. Yeah,
[01:00:18] Speaker C: it was a woman.
[01:00:20] Speaker B: Oh, okay. What was Dave? Mel.
[01:00:22] Speaker A: Unless Melcher can throw his voice because damn.
[01:00:27] Speaker B: Harold Cameron's got me believing.
[01:00:29] Speaker A: The heat segment was very slow paced and they're just somewhat unbelievable that Dave Finley is. Orange Cassidy are struggling over a suplex.
[01:00:39] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:00:40] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:00:41] Speaker A: And or twice Daniel S on commentary being like, boy, Dave Finley really hates his dad because he never won a championship at I never was home when he was a kid.
[01:00:53] Speaker B: Jesus Christ.
[01:00:55] Speaker C: Yep. He used to build all the goddamn tea. All of it. I was like, damn, okay.
[01:01:02] Speaker B: They really like their tea over there. Yeah.
[01:01:04] Speaker C: He used to wet his bed till he was 15.
[01:01:06] Speaker B: And then like, what the.
[01:01:11] Speaker A: Yeah. Fit told me about the time he got a boner at the school play.
In front of.
In front of everybody.
[01:01:20] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:01:21] Speaker A: Terrible. Terrible.
Daniel said, how could you say that on tv?
Let's see. Hang guillotine from Gabe on the ropes. It kind of looks pretty gross.
Trying to get behind O.C.
he does, like, his weak chops and elbows and it actually works. And he escapes from the corner with his mind games.
[01:01:41] Speaker B: It was really great to see him doing it back and forth.
He did the back and forth lazy hits to try to take out both guys and like, again, it's it. He's doing exactly what anyone else would do in that situation. Just slow.
[01:01:57] Speaker A: Yeah.
And they don't know what to do with it.
[01:02:01] Speaker B: I've been watching this man do this for like four years now, and it will never, you know, I will never be done with it.
[01:02:11] Speaker A: It's so funny because they keep saying, like, oh, well, this wouldn't actually work on Gabe. Kids, like. And then it works.
[01:02:18] Speaker B: Oh, it worked out of me.
[01:02:21] Speaker C: Well then it worked on Dave Finley because I think.
[01:02:23] Speaker B: Yeah, to be fair, one.
[01:02:25] Speaker C: One of the things I took away from this match is I think every new guy against every new opponent that into AEW that goes against Orange Cassidy needs to understand the actual reality of his absurdity because it all looks like jokes until you actually get hit with it or you get kicked into a.
The stairs.
[01:02:49] Speaker B: Well, it's like, it's all fun and games until the orange punch hits you and you go, yeah.
[01:02:55] Speaker A: That was why. That was why in that one match, Clark Connors put his hands in his pockets for him at the Crowd Channel. You up?
[01:03:02] Speaker C: You up?
[01:03:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:03:03] Speaker A: That was his first match against him. Like, you fucking up, boy.
[01:03:06] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:03:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:03:07] Speaker C: You didn't. He didn't know. He didn't know.
[01:03:10] Speaker B: You gotta.
[01:03:10] Speaker A: Congratulations, you just played yourself, O.C. o.C. Gets his hot tag. Darby runs a little bit wild. He's like. He's basically just like, running into everybody. He dumps Gabe. Kid to the floor. He hits a coffin drop to the floor on Finley, and then he locks in the scorpion death lock to Gabe.
And he know sells when Finley kicks him in the face.
[01:03:35] Speaker B: Bastard.
Piece of that.
[01:03:40] Speaker A: No, this part was good for.
For. For Darby being a piece of. I appreciated this part. He tries to hit a code red on Gabe, but Gabe just kind of stops him. So, like, Darby's just like, sitting on his back in time for Finley to lariat the out of him, which is good.
[01:03:59] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:03:59] Speaker A: Oh, no. He was on Finley's back when he did. Either way, he got hit in the face, and I appreciate that.
[01:04:05] Speaker B: Yeah. The important part is.
Yeah, yeah.
[01:04:11] Speaker A: Kid tries a brain buster to OC but he counters it into a stun dog. Now Darby gets his code red.
[01:04:17] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:04:17] Speaker A: Finley gets thrown to the outside, dives for everybody. Darby sits game down in the cuck chair with, like, a missile drop kick. And that looks stiff and painful, so good job.
[01:04:28] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:04:32] Speaker A: Orange Cassidy wants the orange punch on Dave Finley, and Clark Connors appears from the crowd with a tire iron, takes him out. Nobody saw that.
And now Darby hits the coffin drop to Gabe, who turns it into a choke. And Darby tries to do, like, the rollback thing. And they're like, nope. You.
Yep. Finley just forearms him in the face, hits a dominator. Gabe hits a pile driver, and Darby is kill winners.
[01:05:04] Speaker B: Woof.
[01:05:04] Speaker A: W W.
I did not particularly care too much about the match. The f. The closing segment was kind of hot once they got the heat segment, but, oh, yeah, I am unimpressed.
So they dump Darby to the floor, and they bring Orange Cassidy in. They're gonna beat him up for real.
And I think Tony says, like, they are dogs for real. That's for sure.
[01:05:31] Speaker C: Excellent.
[01:05:33] Speaker B: They're the dogs now, dog.
[01:05:35] Speaker A: They're the dog's dog. Dog.
That's ancient ass Internet crap. Holy crap.
[01:05:41] Speaker B: That's.
Folks, Finding Forester was a film.
That was a movie.
[01:05:54] Speaker A: Sean Connor is dead now, right?
[01:05:57] Speaker B: Yeah. The wife beaten bastard. Yeah. Yeah.
[01:06:03] Speaker A: I wasn't sure if he was alive or dead or just like a vegetable
[01:06:07] Speaker B: somewhere in Scotland, dead or retired. Yeah, the dead or retired.
[01:06:11] Speaker C: It's wild that Alan couldn't hold the ring. And when Darby. I'm not. Not Darby. When OC could, like in the last two weeks, like.
Anyway, sorry, I just. I was looking at my notes.
Taking care of this
[01:06:28] Speaker A: diary doesn't do. Yeah. Darby. I think Darby might be hurt. Is my. Well, that's the thing. It's like, maybe he's hurt, and that's why he's, like, on the apron all the time.
[01:06:39] Speaker B: But does it explain why he's like this? Maybe that's why he's like this.
[01:06:45] Speaker A: So, like, I don't think it matters. Like, he's had, like, broken legs, and he's like, I can still work this match. It's fine. It's fine. I can work the maps. This is how I talk. I'm Darby Allen.
[01:06:56] Speaker C: Does he really sound like that? I don't know if I've ever heard him talk.
[01:06:59] Speaker A: Yes, that's how he sounds. That's how he said.
This is how I talk.
My friend Ella hates you.
Have you met my friend Wheeler Yuta?
Yeah,
[01:07:15] Speaker C: his head shaved. It was great.
[01:07:19] Speaker B: You shut your mouth
[01:07:23] Speaker C: and get smushed by so many heel factions.
[01:07:26] Speaker A: There's a new voice. Anyway, yeah, they're gonna kill Orange. And Dave calls out to the back, and who's he calling out? Oh, it's the missing in action Roger Strong.
[01:07:36] Speaker C: Roderick Strong.
[01:07:37] Speaker B: Oh, hell.
[01:07:40] Speaker A: They have invited Roderick Strong to join the dogs.
Darby Allen. And. Well, sorry.
[01:07:47] Speaker B: Real, real quick. This is so important. He's wearing very stylish glasses.
Like, he is looking cute.
[01:07:56] Speaker A: I love his Jeffrey Dahmer glasses.
[01:08:02] Speaker B: Not where I would have gone with it, but okay, thanks.
[01:08:05] Speaker A: The other way is Ned Flanders. He's very Ned Flanders looking.
[01:08:09] Speaker B: Well, you know what? What's weird about that? I'm just gonna go be in my corner.
[01:08:14] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't want. Yeah, don't worry. I'm going with you. Hello.
Or I'll go into my own corner, but for the same reason.
[01:08:22] Speaker B: I'm out of here.
[01:08:27] Speaker A: Roddy comes down, and they're like, ah, Roddy, you want to kill this piece of. Don't you? Here you go. Yeah, throw him to Orange to. They throw Orange to him, and he pretends like he's gonna hit him with the hand of Arctic.
Instead, he uses him as a battering ram and throws him at.
[01:08:51] Speaker B: So cool.
[01:08:52] Speaker A: Darby reappears with the skateboard, takes out.
[01:08:56] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:08:56] Speaker A: Gabe Kidd. And then Roddy hits end of Hardik to Clark Connors.
He kind of looks down. He offers the hand.
He pulls him up, and, yeah, Orange, like, jumps up like he's Monkey D. Luffy in one piece.
[01:09:10] Speaker B: It was amazing.
[01:09:11] Speaker A: And then they high five.
[01:09:13] Speaker B: If any wrestler has been.
[01:09:15] Speaker C: Look.
[01:09:15] Speaker B: If any wrestler ate the gum gum fruit, it's Orange Cassidy.
[01:09:21] Speaker A: So, like, they. They high five, and Roddy high fives them so hard. Orange is like, al, why is it. Why is everyone hurting Me.
[01:09:29] Speaker B: Why did. Why do you. Must you conglomerate so hard? Rodriguez.
[01:09:33] Speaker A: But yes, Roddy is conglomerating.
[01:09:38] Speaker B: Yes. One of the only notes I took is I. I will never be okay with hearing, like, Tony Schiavone, like, calling all these moves. This guy did this. This guy did this.
Darby Allen with a skateboard. And I'm like, oh, God, me?
I'm just like, this poor dude. Like,
[01:10:02] Speaker A: he got a skateboard.
[01:10:04] Speaker C: He's 72 years old. He shouldn't be saying tough things like that.
[01:10:08] Speaker A: You know what?
If Dusty Rose can call a bicycle, Tony Schiavone can call skateboard people.
[01:10:14] Speaker B: Fair enough.
[01:10:17] Speaker C: If I recall correctly, he. He actually genuinely struggled with that word.
[01:10:22] Speaker B: Yeah, he grabbed. Generally.
Just don't ask him to say Garmin G Man.
[01:10:34] Speaker C: Speaking of which, this is also a trio.
[01:10:43] Speaker A: Darby's not conglomerating. I don't.
[01:10:46] Speaker C: He's not.
[01:10:47] Speaker B: But they never try to make that happen. I riot,
[01:10:52] Speaker C: literally.
[01:10:52] Speaker A: Civilian adjacent.
Conglomerate adjacent, civilian warrior. So off Darby.
[01:11:00] Speaker C: Yeah. He's like, they're.
[01:11:02] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:11:02] Speaker C: Their little infantry guy. They're like, go. Go ahead. You go first.
[01:11:07] Speaker A: Go forth. My mooc.
[01:11:10] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:11:14] Speaker A: So they just jump in, right to the next match. They're like, let's go. Powering through TBS title. Willow Nightingale. Defending against Persephone. Persephone rules.
[01:11:25] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:11:26] Speaker B: Yes. This magic rule.
[01:11:28] Speaker A: And Rick Bonnie has his traditional Willow Nightingale rap. So if you will indulge me. Yeah.
[01:11:36] Speaker B: Oh, oh, oh.
[01:11:38] Speaker A: It's Wednesday night. The feelings, right? And we've come to tell the tale. It's one half of the Babes of Wrath. It's Willow Nightingale. TBS title.
We're looking for the solution to beat Persephone. 1, 2, 3, and head to revolution. I did it. I can't do it the way Ian does. But, yeah, I wrote it down.
I can't do it.
[01:11:58] Speaker C: Excellent.
[01:11:58] Speaker A: As good as Ian Daniel said, as soon as he's done that, Danielson just like, wow, that was really cool, Ian.
Yeah,
[01:12:09] Speaker B: honestly. And honestly, I don't think there was a. Any, like, sarcasm. I think he was like, no, that was really cool. Like, that's how I read it.
[01:12:19] Speaker C: He better.
[01:12:21] Speaker A: You can't.
[01:12:22] Speaker C: You can't call a fellow sicko out like that.
[01:12:26] Speaker B: So hampter this. You may have been taken off guard by this, but this is the thing that he has been doing as long as I can remember. When Willow comes out, he freestyles like.
Like a Willow rap. Like. Like every time in Ring of Honor. Like, he. Every time.
[01:12:46] Speaker A: It's not easy, as you could see. I wrote it down, and I cannot get the meter right.
[01:12:50] Speaker B: Yeah. No, like, Rickabondi can rap. It's weird.
[01:12:55] Speaker C: Yeah, no, it's.
[01:12:58] Speaker A: It.
[01:12:58] Speaker C: It filled me with delight when I heard it. I mean, I was just like, yes, this is. I love this person. Like, yeah.
[01:13:08] Speaker A: I just spent a little bit of my notes talking about how much I love Persephone's gear, especially her pants. I kind of want those pants.
I could rock those pants.
[01:13:18] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:13:18] Speaker A: Anyway, they grapple a little bit to start, and Willow can't get a gory special, but she can get a hurricane. Rana and Persephone hits a hurricane around a 2.
Wow. And then they meet in the middle, and Willow wants to do code of honor, and Persephone shakes and then does a roll up because she's kind of a rudo.
Even. Even when she was wrestling Mercedes, who was Heel and cmll, like, she still, like, would not be anything but a rudo or ruda. I don't know. I don't know how you do it. I don't speak Spanish.
[01:13:56] Speaker B: It'd be ruda. Yeah.
[01:13:59] Speaker C: Is that. Is that somebody who's just not generally a heel or just generally?
[01:14:05] Speaker B: That's. Yeah, that's a heel.
[01:14:09] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[01:14:10] Speaker A: Like, the Mexican terms are technico and brutal.
[01:14:13] Speaker C: Okay. Oh, cool. Cool. Oh, awesome.
Knowledge.
[01:14:17] Speaker B: Knowledge. Knowledge gained.
[01:14:21] Speaker A: Plus one. Intelligence.
[01:14:23] Speaker C: I got. I wish.
[01:14:25] Speaker A: No, I just imagine, like, that plus one went off over your head there.
[01:14:29] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:14:30] Speaker A: Okay, cool.
Willow does a lot of Willow stuff. She. She cartwheels out of a thing that Persephone tries to get her into, gets a clothesline, and then Persevering gets a roll up, and then Willow comes back, hits a fisherman suplex running cross body. Persephone rolls through, picks her up, up, and does a Razor Ramon esque.
[01:14:52] Speaker B: Yeah, like.
[01:14:54] Speaker A: And even does, like, the little, like, at the end.
[01:14:58] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:14:59] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Oh, wait, you know. No, she did. No, she did the. No, you're talking. That's later. She did the straight up. The sos. The sack of. Yeah, the fall away.
[01:15:07] Speaker A: Oh, no. That's what. That's what this was. Because, yeah, Willow rolled through and she got it. Like, she got up and she did, like, razor's taunt afterward, too. It was sick. I was like, yes, thank you.
[01:15:19] Speaker B: So into it. No, I want more. If we're gonna keep, like. Like having CMLL people and then they just sort of stay.
Can Persephone stay?
[01:15:29] Speaker A: I think.
[01:15:31] Speaker B: Can we keep her?
[01:15:34] Speaker C: But she has to defend the title again.
[01:15:36] Speaker A: I think she's saying. Yeah, she is saying she is signed to aew.
[01:15:43] Speaker B: Yes. God damn it. That's like, the greatest news I've ever heard.
[01:15:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
Contract that Hechisero and Takeshita have. So good for her.
[01:15:51] Speaker C: Oh, cool.
[01:15:52] Speaker A: I'm excited about that. Yeah. Which actually is probably why she got so much offensive in this match.
Yep. So, yeah, he threw the. The.
The commercial. Danielson just being like, holy, Persephone is strong as.
Yeah, that's what he actually says. You can quote me on that.
Willow manages to work, like, a neck and arm submission, and Persephone fights out of it, and then, like, works at chinlock. And, like, Danielson, like, I gotta teach people how to make the chin back look really, really hurt.
You could tell everybody crush a guy's jaw on that. You can crush a guy's jaw.
[01:16:33] Speaker C: Okay, thanks. I should teach some of the guys in back. Yeah, he said talent. He didn't say guys talent.
[01:16:40] Speaker A: Yes, the talent.
Yeah. She works into a triangle choke. And then head scissors sends Willow back outside.
And then she goes for suicida. But Willow blocks it. She has another hit. And Persephone wants a moonsault blocked again.
They fight on the floor.
[01:16:56] Speaker C: I love that first block.
[01:16:57] Speaker A: Yeah. And then Willow kills her with that big spine buster on the floor.
[01:17:02] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[01:17:04] Speaker A: Hits a running senton from the apron while they plug the Aw. DC Comics crossover. Apparently, somebody did a heel turn on the Justice League.
Who knew?
Corner cannonball Senton. Willow wants for moonsault, misses. Persephone hits a German like, Jesus.
[01:17:23] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:17:24] Speaker A: That was Persephone's strongest. She's only 24.
[01:17:29] Speaker C: I know.
Yeah.
[01:17:36] Speaker A: Willow gets her own German. She wants another. And then Persephone kicks off of her and gets, like, a springboard moonsault and a lion salt. Yeah, I don't want to call it the lion salt. It's a springboard moonsault. They can ask. 10 minutes left as they trade forearms in the middle of the ring.
Persephone Matrix dollages a clothesline, but love that gets caught with the second one. Yeah.
Drop kick to Willow.
They fight up on top. And Willow wants to get a sunset flip, but it's blocked.
Persephone gets her up for a crucifix bomb because she loves Scott Hall. I guess Willow slides.
[01:18:13] Speaker C: Yeah. Give those vibes.
[01:18:16] Speaker A: I. I'm. I'm not mad about it. Backslide. And Will retains with a backslide.
Yeah, that was good.
This was the point where I noticed that the crowd is starting to get a little bit worn down.
Yeah, they're not. Not quite as into every single little thing that's happening. Interesting. Oh. Anyway, it's time for my favorite part of the show where I get the On Tommaso Ciampa.
Video package about how the former Tommy Chompers. The former Tommy Chompers, now the heel. Thompson Chompers Jr.
Thompson Chomper, Chomperton Jr.
Chomperton.
[01:19:04] Speaker B: Yeah. Don't forget the ton of support.
[01:19:06] Speaker A: Yes.
They're explaining why he turned on Mark Briscoe and he's a psycho. Mark says this is the guy he expected when Chompington arrived. So he formed Damn Bucks with the young Bucks to take on Thompson, Chompington and FTR are. Because we are recycling NXT feuds.
Yay.
So it's a trios match. Thompson Trios, Thompson and FTR versus Dem Bucks.
[01:19:43] Speaker B: And I do love Dem Bucks.
[01:19:46] Speaker A: I do like them Bucks.
[01:19:48] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:19:49] Speaker A: I want to, I want to actually say, like, just before I find this all incredibly awkward, that they're doing this best tag teams of the century thing and one half of one of the main three that they're talking about is dead.
[01:20:08] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:20:08] Speaker A: And they brought in a guy who is part of another very well respected tag team from this generation and his partner's not here.
So it's like, it's like they're like, they're, they're trying to force a thing that doesn't exist and can't exist.
[01:20:28] Speaker B: I don't know.
[01:20:30] Speaker A: I get why. I guess, like, I feel, I feel very weird, like, talking about, like having Mark involved in a tag team feud because that's technically what it is when. Yeah.
And like, I'm sorry, but, like, The Briscoes eat FTR, the Young Bucks and DIY's lunch.
[01:20:49] Speaker B: Oh, well, yeah, no, they're, they're the Briscoe.
[01:20:52] Speaker A: Blow them out of the water.
[01:20:54] Speaker B: The Briscoes. To the, to this day, the Briscoes have delivered my favorite promo of all time. It has yet to be toppled. So, like, until you, until you can do something better. And Terry Funk ain't wearing no mouthpiece.
Until you can get better than that. Until you can get better. Mark Brisco unloading a clip, trying to shoot the bottle of bourbon. He just killed.
Like, come on.
[01:21:25] Speaker A: Like. No, like, I, I like. The Briscoes are like. Mark Briscoe is younger than me. Like, the first time I saw him. He's not. What? No, no, no, no.
I was in high school. School. And I was in high school the first time I saw the Briskers. All right.
[01:21:43] Speaker B: What? I forget, you're like, you're in the coast.
[01:21:46] Speaker A: I'm old on that coast. Yeah, they were on. They were on tv. They were on like the local wrestling show. I saw, like, Baby Mark and Jay getting their asses murdered by Nick Gage
[01:21:59] Speaker B: gauge. Yeah.
[01:22:01] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:22:02] Speaker B: Oh, my God.
[01:22:03] Speaker C: Like, wow.
[01:22:04] Speaker A: Holy.
[01:22:05] Speaker B: You were watching, like, czw.
[01:22:08] Speaker A: That was on TV here. That was on TV here.
[01:22:11] Speaker C: Yeah. It's regional.
[01:22:12] Speaker B: That should be a crime.
[01:22:17] Speaker C: This is why you can't have magic.
[01:22:20] Speaker A: No, like, I'm telling you. No, wait. This is that. I didn't do this. I didn't do, I didn't do this. I just watched it.
It's not, it is not my first fault that at 10pm on a Saturday, I turn on the TV and they're showing highlights from Tournament of Death.
And I'm watching Nick Mondo get his chest ripped open with a weed whacker in Delaware.
And I'm like, well, that's pretty.
[01:22:50] Speaker B: I just made.
[01:22:51] Speaker A: What the.
[01:22:53] Speaker B: No,
[01:22:55] Speaker A: it's fine. I was like, 17. It was fine.
That's fine. I'm fine. I came out normal. Normal, normal. I came out
[01:23:07] Speaker C: normal.
[01:23:08] Speaker A: But, yeah, like, it's, it's, it's just like, it feels weird to invoke the Briscoes in this so much when, like, you can't. There's, like, there's no way you can replace Jay in this at all.
[01:23:18] Speaker C: I hope they kind of move away from that.
[01:23:20] Speaker A: Yeah. It's kind of why I'm very glad that they didn't have Champa team with Briscoe.
[01:23:27] Speaker B: And they know that that couldn't happen.
[01:23:29] Speaker A: Yeah, like, and they've gone, like, they've gone this route. Like, this is like, I'm gonna give Champa all the in the world, but, like, this is probably the best way to go for him right now. Like, yeah, just make him a heel.
[01:23:41] Speaker B: Look, as far as the match goes, I'm sorry, I know you don't like him, but, like, I like his wrestling.
He did sick.
He, he, he gave me one of my spots in moments of the night, the finish of this match was.
Or like, after the fact we planned when he. All right, I don't know. Do we want to talk about the match?
[01:24:06] Speaker A: Yeah, was very cool, but, like, I even just like, my, my bias aside, like, this was probably, like, the least I've enjoyed Champa in AEW so far.
[01:24:20] Speaker C: Oh, interesting.
[01:24:21] Speaker B: Jesus Christ.
[01:24:23] Speaker A: Yeah, like, I, I, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
[01:24:27] Speaker B: So weird because, like, every time I like him more, every time I watch him wrestle, I like him more. And you're just like, man, this guy.
[01:24:33] Speaker C: I love this feud, this thing, because.
[01:24:37] Speaker A: And like, I've made this very clear before. It's like. It's because I've seen his NXT stuff, and he's just doing. He's just recycling NXT stuff, and I
[01:24:46] Speaker B: have not seen nxt, so I'm like, this sh.
[01:24:49] Speaker A: Rules.
[01:24:51] Speaker B: This is great.
My shadow that knows my story. Okay.
[01:24:56] Speaker A: I just think that, like, if anybody else came over from WWE to Aw. And they just recycled the same stuff that they did, anybody else would give them.
[01:25:05] Speaker B: Well, yeah, but I. This is my first time we.
Cher, what are you doing with that knife? Ch.
Put the knife down.
[01:25:21] Speaker A: Where the duck come from?
[01:25:26] Speaker B: Okay, drive, drive, drive.
[01:25:27] Speaker A: I'm driving, I'm driving, I'm driving. Yeah, we're getting. We're going.
Long as.
Yeah. It's like they're just kind of, like, brawling out all over the place for a while. Dax cuts off Brisco, who's trying to hit. What? What did I miss?
[01:25:40] Speaker C: Sorry. Because you. The. They have the Tom. The. The Chompers and the Briscoe little promo package. And then Willow Nightingale challenges Lena Cross at zero hour.
[01:25:54] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
Forgot her name for a second again. Instead, I'll challenge big lady.
[01:26:06] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:26:06] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:26:07] Speaker A: I like. I like big ladies. Let's go.
[01:26:10] Speaker C: Let's go.
[01:26:11] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:26:11] Speaker C: I'm here for it.
[01:26:12] Speaker A: That's go. Yeah. So they're brawling in the thing, and Mark gets hit. And they're gonna go for power and glory, but Mark blocks the splash from FTR gun and Nick Jackson hits a.450 Thompson. Chompington doesn't want anything to do with Mark besides slap him because he just, like, runs in. Slap him and runs away, which is kind of funny.
[01:26:39] Speaker B: Thank you.
[01:26:40] Speaker A: Bucks hit their assistant Shira Nui on both members of ftr, which is cool. And then they start a little bit of a super kick party. And Tommy Chompers tries to stop it, but they kick him too. Sorry, Tom.
[01:26:52] Speaker B: Well, yeah, what you gotta do.
[01:26:54] Speaker A: You're gonna get kicked in the face.
[01:26:56] Speaker C: Gonna get kicked in the face.
[01:26:58] Speaker A: FTR wants to get something, but they get caught with a slingshot. And Mark gives Dax a cutter, and Briscoe and Chompington throw down.
I do not agree with Tony Schiavone That Chompington Briscoe one was an instant classic. I do not agree at all. But they. They go down. They're fighting. That's fine.
Crowd, like, is kind of getting a little burned out. Like, they're not like. Yeah, I'm thinking about, like, how Mile High Madness came off and the crowd was just, like, going ape that entire time.
The crowd was not going apeshit. This entire match.
[01:27:34] Speaker B: They could have been. They could have been because there was some fun.
[01:27:38] Speaker A: But, yeah, they definitely popped for the big stuff, but they were not going completely nuts. And, like, they keep in mind they probably still had. They knew they had, like, a whole collision thing to go. And this isn't even the last segment on this show.
[01:27:53] Speaker B: Oh, God.
[01:27:53] Speaker A: Oh.
[01:27:54] Speaker B: And the one coming after this is the worst. All right. All right. Yeah, the worst. All right. Can we.
Yeah. Can we get to the part where
[01:28:04] Speaker A: the boys kiss, Brisco is bleeding, and they go to commercial. Danielson's complaining about how long Stokely's been in the chair.
[01:28:14] Speaker B: Yeah, it's good. Yeah.
[01:28:17] Speaker A: They've been working heat on.
On Mark the whole time on commercial, and he gets a hot tag to the Bucks, and they just start running wild with dives. And Mark gets, like, the chair, and he does the Sabu step up jump. Jump.
[01:28:31] Speaker B: Yeah, it does the Saboost chair spot.
[01:28:34] Speaker C: It's. I wanted to bring this up earlier, and I. Because I. And I'm bringing this up now because I legitimately wrote in my notes.
Chair. It's interesting. Chairs aren't used the same way that they are in, like, 90, 96, 97 wrestling, where the chair is used to strike in what I've seen so far. And granted, very small sample size, but it's often used to, like, accentuate, like, a. Like a. Like we saw here where you're jumping on somebody so they hit the chair
[01:29:06] Speaker B: hard or landing on it, which is.
[01:29:10] Speaker A: Yeah, and then that's the big. The big difference between the 90s and the 2000s is that we've learned about a little something called CTE.
[01:29:21] Speaker B: CTE.
[01:29:24] Speaker C: I was wondering if that played a small but pivotal role.
[01:29:28] Speaker A: Yeah, very, very big thing in, like, the late 90s. And then I forget how far into the 2000s, but, like, guys were just being like, yeah, hit me as hard as you can in the head.
And then Chris Benoit went insane and killed his family. And we're like. We don't know. Because of his brain was bad or if he was.
[01:29:50] Speaker B: Did Hampter just throw their arms up because of a Benoit mention?
[01:29:54] Speaker C: Yeah, Benoit mention every time.
[01:29:57] Speaker A: Plug in the
[01:30:01] Speaker B: sign.
[01:30:01] Speaker A: Flip the sign. Yeah.
[01:30:04] Speaker B: Sign zero.
[01:30:07] Speaker C: It has to come up organically within the conversation.
And it happens often.
[01:30:14] Speaker B: Way too often.
[01:30:16] Speaker A: Way too.
[01:30:16] Speaker B: I don't know if it's because of our Monday origins, but it happens way too often. I'm sorry.
[01:30:26] Speaker C: He is an outlier, but not a.
[01:30:28] Speaker B: No.
[01:30:29] Speaker C: An extreme outlier, but not a uncommon story of professional wrestling.
[01:30:34] Speaker B: No, my Minor mine, I always will go down to is. Hey, remember that time Taker probably killed a guy,
[01:30:44] Speaker A: so.
[01:30:45] Speaker B: Yeah, remember that time?
[01:30:47] Speaker A: Well, yeah, that was also the hate crime.
[01:30:50] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. No, I was. That's the same one.
[01:30:53] Speaker A: Same thing, same incident.
[01:30:56] Speaker B: If you want to hear more about how much I hate Mark Calloway, check out Hate Speech Pod. Yes, it's really called. I did a whole episode about how much he sucks. It was pretty good. I revisited it recently. I was like, you know, I had to some points.
[01:31:10] Speaker C: I was goddamn right points for me.
[01:31:13] Speaker B: I was cooking there. Yeah.
[01:31:17] Speaker C: Damn, damn, my takes are hot.
[01:31:20] Speaker B: Anyways, we reach to the end of this match where the boys kiss. Can we get some?
[01:31:27] Speaker A: Mark and A Buck team up and hit Redneck Boogie, which is really weird to see without J.
Yeah, there a table got set up earlier in the match. Now the crowd is chanting for it, but the faces defy the crowd's bloodlust or table lust, I guess. And they super kick the heels instead because it's a super kick party.
They get.
Yeah, they have markdown. All right, so like this again. All right, I. I don't want to talk about this. But like, this is. This is NXT lore, so ftr, we're going so long.
[01:32:02] Speaker B: Can we stop talking about nxt?
[01:32:04] Speaker A: No. All right.
They try and do an NXT callback with the meeting in the middle and they miss because they're not friends. They were rivals. They super kick cash iconoclasm.
And then they put Nick through the table and he's dead.
And then they're gonna spike pile drive the other buck on the floor and gets blocked for like a minute, but then they do it on the announce table and he's dead and Mark's all by himself.
Chompers hits the running knee on Briscoe, kicks out J Driller blocked Psycho driver and he's striking. That's over.
[01:32:44] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
[01:32:46] Speaker A: And then the. The hateful admit Thompson chompers Chompington Jr attacks Mark Post match, grabs a couple chairs and he hits an avalanche Psycho driver through both of them and he cradles his head and he kisses him.
[01:33:03] Speaker B: Excuse me. Psycho Driller, I believe is what it's called.
[01:33:07] Speaker A: I don't give a.
[01:33:10] Speaker B: Because psycho killer Psycho driller Tony Schiavone
[01:33:15] Speaker A: says we have no more commercial breaks. Unfortunately, we have to stay with this violence.
The only time anyone has ever said that in wrestling. Excellent.
[01:33:23] Speaker B: That's pretty great. And I'm about to say, unfortunately, we have no more commercial breaks. We're gonna have to stay with this Press conference segment.
[01:33:33] Speaker A: All right, I.
All right.
[01:33:35] Speaker B: They cut to your main event, folks. Folks, folks, your main event.
[01:33:39] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[01:33:41] Speaker A: I would rather they had just done a contract signing. But they didn't. They refused.
[01:33:47] Speaker B: Why? Why.
[01:33:49] Speaker A: Why not just do a contract sign? So, like, I. I have many issues with this.
[01:33:54] Speaker B: First off, it's so many for. Yeah, the. Yeah. First and foremost, it sucked ass.
[01:34:00] Speaker C: I was wondering why. I was like, what.
[01:34:03] Speaker A: What was good? What one thing that was good. The video package for it before. It was very well done because it chronicled basically the entire history of AEW and how both these guys are in place. Important to it.
Well done.
I applaud you. Then they go to a press conference setup. Brian Danielson is moderating the press conference and introduces both guys. And they take questions.
[01:34:26] Speaker B: Now I feel like even. I feel like even Goatman is sitting here going, why are we doing this, guys?
Why am I here?
[01:34:36] Speaker A: I. I don't even like. All right, we're going long. I really don't want to even go through all the questions. I do want to shout out, shout out.
I thought that this, like, they were kayfabing this when a guy said baby Huey from 1077 the Bone and. No, that's like a real guy.
[01:34:52] Speaker B: No. I had the exact same thought. I was like, that is not. Oh, God. It is like by. It was like by the end of him doing. I was like. He said that with complete sincerity.
You know, this is why. This is why I don't tell people I'm wrestling media.
Even though, like, technically I guess we could. We are public. But you know, we got published in that thing.
So like that.
Oh, yeah.
Taylor from wnff. The
[01:35:31] Speaker A: like, like, they ask all these questions about, like, what are you doing to prepare? Are you sure that you want to do this? Like, how does Texas, like, like it's
[01:35:39] Speaker B: in the crowd does the right thing and lets Tony know to never do this the again.
This is boring.
[01:35:51] Speaker A: I'm gonna speed run this. So Max, like, they do. They do some Max. Max is.
[01:35:56] Speaker B: I'm gonna play the crowd. Okay. Because you do this. I'm gonna play the crowd. Okay.
[01:36:00] Speaker A: All right, Max. They. They. They do some answers and I'm actually. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You're hangman and you suck and I hate you. But let's cheers, let's toast, let's toast. Because that's what cowboys do. So he gets some red solo cups.
[01:36:13] Speaker B: This is really boring.
[01:36:15] Speaker A: He toasts. He, he, he. No one likes drink on him.
Hangman spills his drink and then he Throws a drink at Hangman. They brawl. They bro the crowd.
[01:36:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:36:24] Speaker A: Yay. That's cool. The crowd wakes up when, like, people, we're back.
[01:36:28] Speaker B: Violence. There's violence.
[01:36:31] Speaker A: Sorry about you.
[01:36:31] Speaker B: I came.
There's violence at the violence show. All right, let's go.
[01:36:38] Speaker A: Hangman shows off all the violence. You learn from Swerve by killing all of the security guards who come out to break them up.
He gives MJF a dead eye. He wants to. He pulls out a barbed wire board from under the ring. He's gonna. He's gonna dead eye Max from the apron to the barbed wire board. Max is like, no, I'm not taking that boat. And he runs.
[01:37:02] Speaker B: Yeah, he runs away. As you should.
[01:37:04] Speaker A: They. They shot each other. As Max is in the crowd. They shout at each other as it goes off the air.
[01:37:09] Speaker B: Scene A. I just want to touch on one thing, one thing real quick.
You said the violence they learned from Swerve.
That man gave him his hanging chain.
The chain that he uses hanging people.
[01:37:28] Speaker A: Swerve taught him how to do an AOE on security guards. He did do a stomp, but he used.
[01:37:33] Speaker B: All right, this is true. This is true. This is true.
This is absolutely. You're right. He did teach him that lore. He did bump up that skill tree a couple notches.
[01:37:45] Speaker A: All right, if I can be serious for a moment, here's my big problem with this segment. Besides the. The fact that it was boring as and not good.
[01:37:53] Speaker B: Yeah. Besides the part where it sucks. Yeah.
[01:37:55] Speaker A: Is there's already a very heavy critic. They already do post pay per view press conferences.
They are already heavily criticized, and the, like, the wrestling media is already heavily criticized for, like, having an opportunity to ask any question that they want and treating it like it's a.
Like they're part of the show.
They had legitimate wrestling journalists on this. Like, I'm not singling her out, but, like, she's, like, the most prominent. They had Denise Salcedo on this. I have no problem with her. But, like, you can't be doing these kayfabe things and then going to the supposedly shoot press conference afterwards and, like, treating them like they're the same thing. Like, you. You, like, stop. Like, just stop doing press conferences now, because they are.
[01:38:47] Speaker B: Just.
[01:38:47] Speaker A: Please, just stop.
[01:38:49] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:38:49] Speaker A: Stop doing it.
[01:38:50] Speaker B: There was. There was a. Here's the thing. There was a magical moment. Couple moments.
There was a few times where. Where the press conferences are after the pay per views were really good.
[01:39:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:39:06] Speaker B: But it's got to be organic, and I feel like they've reached the point where they're trying to make it and you can't. Mj, mjf.
Mjf.
Trolling on punks Muffins with the pickles.
That was.
Oh, my God, Toni Storm every single time she goes to one of them.
Possibly my favorite of all time was Anytime Orange Cassidy is on there, basically. But there was a. When he was on that run, the international title run, even when he lost. I think there's only one. One where he finally lost it. And he's just. The press conference where he decided, I'm go lay down, right? Like, I finally. Like, I finally get to be done. And it felt like. It felt like I had followed this story for so long and. And I. I remember going online being like, y' all should watch just this segment of this press conference because it's like the epilogue. It's like the end of the story, the absolute end of the story. Because he's just like, I'm just. I'm so tight. I'm gonna sit back down. Like, you know, like, I just. I'm done.
[01:40:23] Speaker A: Like, that's. That's just like. The thing is, like, people want. Have wanted these press conferences to have, like, people who are journalists. They want wrestling journalism to be a legitimate thing. And they want to have the journalists that they pay money towards, mind you, to ask, like, hey, this thing is happening in your company.
What can you tell me about it? Or, like, ask a question like, hey, what. Do you have any plans to give the women more minutes on the TV show? What? Like, and nobody will do that.
So do you like coming to la?
Yeah.
[01:41:00] Speaker B: And the thing is, is, like, that you need to.
I understand the want to blend kfab. Like, that's what makes wrestling good, is when. When you find that that's has what has made all the best moments.
But, like, when you're gonna do, like, this press conference. That's why the press conference doesn't work in the contract signing does.
You're keeping the wall firmly in place in this moment.
And, like, you can have the press conference and the press conference.
Like, I feel like it would work if you go, like, if it works the way kayfabe works. And I feel like they don't want to do it. It's stupid. It's like, if you're going to have the press conference and you have press there going, like, all right, we're doing a silly one.
You know what I mean? Be like, okay, you're in on it now. This one's kayfabe. Don't like, like, go like, everyone who's coming out is going to be in character.
Like, we are in character. Like, let them know, like that. That, like, what's going on here is in character. I mean, before it starts.
[01:42:04] Speaker A: And then, like, I think, like, even then, it's like, if you're doing it Kayfab. Yeah, sure. Have real press there don't have the real press be part of the show.
[01:42:15] Speaker B: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
[01:42:17] Speaker A: They have plants.
[01:42:18] Speaker B: What the happened to a plant? Remember plants?
[01:42:20] Speaker C: Yeah, well, that's the thing.
[01:42:21] Speaker A: Because, like. Because now, like, it looks like the. The press is plants working for the company, and they should not be working for the company. They should be the press.
[01:42:31] Speaker B: Yeah.
And like. Like, whatever. What.
God damn it. Whatever happened to. To good old Carney, right? Plant a.
[01:42:42] Speaker A: All those.
[01:42:43] Speaker B: All. All those selfies that Andrade's taking, they are paying those only fans, models. They better be like. Like that. Those are freelance workers.
Okay? Those are workers. They're workers. Daddy working
[01:42:59] Speaker A: pay window worker.
[01:43:01] Speaker B: He's a worker. Daddy, he's a worker day. It is working you.
[01:43:04] Speaker A: It is just like, legitimately, like, this is not something I think should be blurred.
[01:43:11] Speaker C: Yeah, it's. And it's the problem with Cape. Oh, sorry.
[01:43:15] Speaker A: I. I don't. I don't want to blame necessarily the people for doing it, but, like.
Like, the company itself should have just been like, we're gonna get plants for this. We're not gonna have the actual journalists asking questions like, just.
[01:43:27] Speaker B: No, because this is just. It's just.
It's not good tv. And you're. If you're not making good tv, you're breaking the cardinal rule.
[01:43:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:43:38] Speaker B: Of televised wrestling.
I won't say wrestling, because that's. That's when you get all in the weird. And it's like, no, there's wrestling and there's TV wrestling. And sometimes what's best for one isn't best for the other. And you play to the room you're playing to.
But, like, this was not the same good tv. Like, don't ever. Don't ever do that again, Tony. Like, don't. Don't do that again. That was wrong. Wrong. That was bad. You did bad.
You did bad, and you should feel a little bad. Okay? Now we have gone for almost two and a half hours.
A lot of that's gonna get cut or. And. Or put on Patreon.
So that's good.
[01:44:22] Speaker A: But Anything at least 20 minutes is about people's balls.
[01:44:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, God. Folks, here, we'll tell you right now, because I'm Planning on putting this on the Patreon content warning.

[01:45:19] Speaker A: I don't know. Hampter, anything you want to add?
[01:45:22] Speaker C: No, I liked the. I like the.
I like the card. It was a good card.
Yeah, I would watch.
I think, Mike, a speedball was robbed. And, yeah, I'll go to my grave thinking that.
Oh, my God, it's piping.
[01:45:39] Speaker A: 2:27 y' all are trying kill me.
Look,
[01:45:47] Speaker B: look, I. I literally. We're wrapping up. I literally just had to give everyone a content warning for what I will be putting on Patreon.
Fantastic, y'.
[01:45:58] Speaker A: All.
[01:46:00] Speaker B: Oh, my God.
It doesn't even know it. Like, it has no idea. Look at it. Like, Erica has a knife.
[01:46:08] Speaker A: I have missed something. And everybody else, you have two.
[01:46:13] Speaker B: I made a shirt.
[01:46:13] Speaker A: Well, the knife is. The knife is unrelated.
[01:46:16] Speaker B: It's one of those episodes where I made a shirt on the episode. So, Gino, check the chat. But everyone else. Hey, you're. Hey, Piper, you know what this means. You're here for the talkout. You're here for the burn. Oh, I'm in here real quick to plug the. Yeah, you're here for.
[01:46:32] Speaker A: Happy Wrestling Wednesday night fake fights. Is it still pod Patreon?
[01:46:40] Speaker B: No, it's WNFF.
Patreon.com. yep, I changed it. We done did it.
[01:46:46] Speaker A: We did it. Fantastic.
I made it, Ma. I made it. All right. I think I'm gonna hit on this guy now.
[01:46:53] Speaker C: Made it.
It's so good to see you and hear you.
[01:46:57] Speaker A: Yes, same to you.
[01:46:59] Speaker B: Well, everyone else, sorry.
[01:47:03] Speaker A: Yeah, wrap it up. Wrap it up. Happy wrestling.
[01:47:06] Speaker B: I'm good. Yeah, I'm happy wrestling. I gotta kick this.
[01:47:24] Speaker C: So why. Why is this happening? Why, like, sorry, why is.
Why is anybody.
[01:47:31] Speaker B: Oh, no. We got Chris Hayes on the pod.
Sorry. That's a terrible joke. Getting politics in my grabs. I'm so sorry.
[01:47:42] Speaker A: Why?
[01:47:43] Speaker B: I know why.
[01:47:43] Speaker A: I don't know why this is happening. Honestly.
[01:47:47] Speaker B: Fascism, boss. Yeah. No, not this. Nothing.
[01:47:51] Speaker A: Oh, oh, okay. Not the wrestling. Something else.
[01:47:54] Speaker B: Okay, not the wrestling. Yeah.
