Episode Transcript
[00:00:07] Speaker A: In the beginning, the earth was a dark, formless void.
But then God spoke and said, let there be wrestling.
And with that, there was Monday, and wrestling happened on Mondays. And God looked upon her works and said, holy shit, that's a lot of racism in video packages.
On the second day, God got depressed and lo, did she post about it on the DVD VR forums. And with that, there was Tuesday.
On the third day, God said, let there be Wednesday. And lo, did the people reply unto her.
We know what that means.
[00:00:56] Speaker B: And welcome back to Wednesday night Fake Fights, where we talk all things aew.
We are on the road to full gear and blood and guts with just one collision remaining before we get to the big double cage matches, which is always a very fun time.
As always, I am one of your hosts, Jeff the Toking Mongoose. And Piper Willow is not with us this week. Hopefully back next week, but we still got some wonderful, wonderful people. Why don't y' all introduce yourselves?
[00:01:28] Speaker A: It's Erica Warrens. I'm here. I'm glad that you prompted us with telling us about Willow, because I was going to forget. Yeah.
In line this week.
[00:01:40] Speaker C: That's messed up.
[00:01:41] Speaker B: That's true. No, because usually then Piper goes, then Erica goes, then you go. If you're here. Yeah.
[00:01:47] Speaker A: Is Let be followed.
[00:01:49] Speaker C: Yeah, I know, I know, I know. Oh. Which means I jumped the line. I spoke out of turn. It's a me.
[00:01:55] Speaker B: Ella. Hi.
[00:01:57] Speaker A: Well, my PODM is triggered and I cannot function anymore.
[00:02:02] Speaker C: But so, thankfully, I decided to, you know, show up out of the lab and make it still a three person booth. Well, two people in a mongoose.
I still. I still think of you as persons.
[00:02:16] Speaker B: A lot of people get like, upset when I post selfies. They're like, what? Like what?
[00:02:21] Speaker A: No, wait a second.
I thought you were a ghost.
[00:02:31] Speaker B: You have the token Man Goose.
[00:02:33] Speaker C: Excellent. I almost choked on mine.
[00:02:34] Speaker B: Popper.
The food, not the drug.
[00:02:38] Speaker C: The food, not the drug.
[00:02:40] Speaker A: You're not supposed to. You're not supposed to eat those. I don't think.
[00:02:43] Speaker B: Yeah, no, there's. I think in that, like, that ER show that's on the. The Philly, like, hospital show.
Hbo. The Pit.
[00:02:53] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:02:53] Speaker B: I think there's an episode where somebody drinks a popper in it and, like, it's. I haven't seen it, but for some reason, I remember hearing about that.
[00:03:01] Speaker C: Now that's what I call television.
[00:03:05] Speaker B: I'm wrong. That's gonna be really.
[00:03:06] Speaker A: No wonder that show won so many Emmys.
[00:03:10] Speaker B: It really. It really popped off.
Yeah.
[00:03:14] Speaker C: HBO loves a popper. I will Never stop thinking of Joey Pants. And you know what?
[00:03:20] Speaker B: Never mind.
[00:03:22] Speaker C: This is not Soprano spoilers podcast.
[00:03:26] Speaker A: But Joey Pants does poppers on the Sopranos.
[00:03:29] Speaker C: He does. And for reasons. And in the mean. Yeah, probably.
[00:03:35] Speaker A: He probably does them in the Matrix.
The Matrix tells me that this copper is awesome.
I know it's not real, but.
[00:03:48] Speaker B: I.
[00:03:48] Speaker C: Feel like I'm ready to out of here.
[00:03:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:03:55] Speaker A: All right, all right.
[00:03:59] Speaker C: This is not a Matrix podcast. This is not a butts. Not yet.
[00:04:03] Speaker A: Yeah, no, it is a butt sex podcast.
All right. Lock in. Lock in, Lock in what?
[00:04:09] Speaker C: Stuff. Butt stuff.
[00:04:10] Speaker A: But stuff locking in.
[00:04:12] Speaker B: Do you take the red anal beads or the blue anal?
[00:04:16] Speaker A: God damn it.
[00:04:17] Speaker C: Raw or smackdown? Let's go.
[00:04:22] Speaker A: All right, so I am driving. It is.
This is the November 5, 2025 edition of Dynamite emanating from Houston, Texas.
We just cannot get out of Texas.
[00:04:36] Speaker C: It's a big state. It's taking.
[00:04:38] Speaker A: Yeah, it's like Texas crowds are really.
[00:04:41] Speaker B: Always good for Aw too. Like, they always pop off somehow.
[00:04:45] Speaker A: You wouldn't think it, but like, they always, like, Texas has been a good state for them, especially since they've been bringing in like, luchadors.
[00:04:52] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. No, without doubt.
[00:04:53] Speaker C: I. I think that they got the first American, like, returnable.
Like you're two in London. Like, I think that the first time they brought it back to America was in Texas. I feel like the crowds are gonna like.
I feel like they bought some loyalty there.
[00:05:11] Speaker B: Yeah, it was a good pick because they are such consistently good. And they showed out for the big show too. Yeah.
[00:05:18] Speaker C: And you got your Von Erichs. You got your body.
[00:05:22] Speaker B: Still carrying around. Ring of Honor.
[00:05:25] Speaker C: Yep.
[00:05:26] Speaker A: All right, so Tony Schiavone is in the ring and he's going to talk about the brand new AEW National Championship. Why that is coming soon because there is another title coming.
[00:05:39] Speaker C: Wow.
[00:05:39] Speaker B: Announced on social media. So we have to talk about.
[00:05:41] Speaker A: Or we have to talk about it on tv. I know people are going to complain about there being too many titles in wrestling.
[00:05:48] Speaker B: People.
[00:05:48] Speaker A: Yeah, there's too many titles in wrestling. I think it's kind of a mistake that they're introducing another one now.
[00:05:55] Speaker B: Like, I get the Inter. The Continental, like, merged with the International. So this is taking the place of the International.
[00:06:03] Speaker C: Then why did you merge them?
[00:06:06] Speaker A: Because it wasn't an international there. Like, this is.
[00:06:09] Speaker B: They actually follow through on the gimmick of like, this is going to be not really even defended in AEW that much. It's just going to be like our cross promotional one. Like, I think if they actually do it, that's not a bad idea. But yeah, we don't need another non defended title. AW tv.
[00:06:26] Speaker A: The problem is not that there's too many titles. The problem is that they're doing too many titles at once. So you have the women's tag titles. You have the Women's Pure and Ring of Honor. And now you have this one.
[00:06:35] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:06:36] Speaker C: No, see. Thank you, Erica. I agree. I, I, I, I was gonna say I want to make that nuanced point. I'm, I am not one of those, those people. I'm like go. Too many titles. I just like when a title has a purpose. I don't care how many you have as long as you can give me a good reason for to exist.
That I see no reason and I don't really see much of what no.
[00:06:59] Speaker B: I'm just trying to be like it'd be nice if that's like the only thing I could see being like put it on like somebody like Hechicero or Mystico. That would be something they can do in CMLL and Japan and like that. But if it yeah. I don't have another mid card. The TNT already doesn't feel very valuable.
[00:07:15] Speaker A: Like also like don't, don't come to me complaining about AW has too many titles when like CMLL has it's 10,000.
Yes. Like they're just making them up.
[00:07:27] Speaker B: I am a CML champion.
[00:07:29] Speaker A: All right. Me too.
Tony Schiavone is out there. But here come the ops. Right away Joe says Houston, we have a problem because we got to get that line in. Crowd pops for that because they love space disasters.
[00:07:46] Speaker C: Who doesn't?
[00:07:47] Speaker A: Yeah, it's cool.
[00:07:49] Speaker C: A lot of them happen.
[00:07:52] Speaker B: The Astros.
[00:07:53] Speaker C: And that's, and that's just SpaceX.
[00:07:59] Speaker A: Joe is pissed. What happened about what happened last week with Hangman disguising himself as Tony. Siobhan.
Tony. Siobhan. Tony. Storm's got me doing it. It's, it's perfect.
[00:08:11] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm doing that. Comes up later.
Pony Schiavone.
Mystique.
Yes.
[00:08:19] Speaker C: Yeah, we'll get there to Tony was both of them were just on one tonight.
All Tony's were were on fire anyways.
[00:08:27] Speaker A: Continue. So yes, he, he does not believe. He knows that Tony's gonna try and say that he had nothing to do with Hangman's clever ruse for Halloween which causes the crowd to chant. Tony.
[00:08:41] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:08:45] Speaker A: Tony tries to explain. Joe tells him to shut up. There's consequences for this. My little Georgia peach.
[00:08:51] Speaker B: Yeah. Little Georgia peach. I made a note.
[00:08:56] Speaker C: That opt me.
[00:08:59] Speaker B: It's a Classic AEW move to like, get somebody real he'll heat is send them after Tony Schiavone. Like, if you really want to let Joe's getting good reactions, send him after Tony.
[00:09:11] Speaker C: Back in the day in the Fed, it's like, how do you make sure that someone's truly hated you with Junior?
Yeah, like, that's. Yeah. When people didn't want our lovable old announcer guy, they didn't want to not cheer Stone Cold.
[00:09:27] Speaker A: So.
[00:09:27] Speaker C: So Vince is like, I'm going to. You gotta go out there and just kill your best friend.
Says kill him dead.
Can you on him in the ring.
[00:09:36] Speaker B: Do it for the business. Stone Cold. I can't do it. Yeah.
[00:09:38] Speaker C: And more importantly, Junior. Junior over here is like, what he's gonna do.
[00:09:42] Speaker A: What?
What?
All right, so security actually does its job for a change and protects somebody from being somebody who doesn't need to be injured by a wrestler from a wrestler.
It also brings out Hangman Page.
And Joe says, oh, well, great, you're here. So we'll just kill you instead because I hate you more.
[00:10:07] Speaker C: First of all, there was a line earlier would brought out that made me very happy because like, all the guys crowd. Tony is like, tony, don't you see? These are just more people getting hurt because.
[00:10:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:10:24] Speaker A: Security doesn't matter.
[00:10:25] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:10:26] Speaker A: It just.
[00:10:27] Speaker B: It's like a villain line too.
[00:10:28] Speaker C: Like. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like, Samoa Joe is. Is he learned from sweet generational talent.
Jesus Christ. So the ultimate villain.
[00:10:46] Speaker A: Eddie Kingston and Hook come out to even the odds. Before they can murder Hangman Page, they have a trios match later tonight.
Hangman says he'll beat Joe's. Like, he'll beat Joe's ass in his Wranglers because he's a cowboy, so he has jeans.
[00:11:02] Speaker B: I like that. Eddie's just swinging a crutch too. Like.
[00:11:05] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:11:06] Speaker B: Where he got it from? Yeah. Like, he's healed.
[00:11:09] Speaker A: It's not.
[00:11:09] Speaker B: It shouldn't be his crush.
[00:11:11] Speaker A: No. He's gonna hold on to that as long as he can.
[00:11:13] Speaker B: I think stole it from Queen.
That out of the way. I fucking go.
[00:11:19] Speaker C: No, I can absolutely imagine a Kinston be like, well, this is my crutch now. They gave it to me. I needed it. And like. Well, now I got it. Like, what would you do? I'm gonna carry.
[00:11:28] Speaker B: I put the co pay on this. I'm keeping it.
[00:11:30] Speaker C: Yeah, exactly.
That's a prop now. A prop.
Slash weapon.
[00:11:40] Speaker A: Hook grabs the microphone and he announces and he. He basically challenges Joe to put the trio's Titles on the line. And just him talking incenses Joe enough that he agrees to make it a title match.
[00:11:52] Speaker B: Flips out like, yeah, he.
[00:11:54] Speaker A: He's not happy with hook and just.
[00:11:58] Speaker B: Like Joe's usually like have an in control character too, but for some reason that was like. It was like.
What was it a week or two ago where Marie when they announced the men's blood and guts and Marina, like, just the concept that she just starts flipping out and they have to hold.
[00:12:14] Speaker A: She lost. Lost her goddamn mind.
[00:12:16] Speaker B: Yeah. Like, come on.
[00:12:18] Speaker A: Excalibur makes the comment that Samoa Joe seems extremely gotten to and yeah, I would agree with that.
[00:12:26] Speaker B: This is the most.
[00:12:27] Speaker C: Not with I've ever seen anyone yet.
[00:12:32] Speaker A: And that brings us to our first match of the evening. A blood and guts advantage match. This is for the men's blood and guts match. So whoever win, they're basically doing a best of three series because between each of the two teams, whoever gets wins two out of three gets to have the advantage in the blood and guts match. So they're doing this for the men's and the women's cages.
[00:12:55] Speaker B: I really like this. I think it's nice. Good use of stakes. Like, obviously there's no. They're gonna do all three matches. Nobody's gonna win the. No side's gonna win the first because you don't advertise matches and then not put them on.
[00:13:08] Speaker A: Right.
[00:13:09] Speaker B: You say you're doing Roderick Strong versus Moxley. If it needs to happen, it's happening. But there I look like great matches too.
[00:13:15] Speaker C: I feel like that's the one downfall is that you kind of. Yeah. Kind of show your hand. You know what I mean by even noting. But also, I think it's just a great.
It's a great kayfabe reason to be like, this is why I booked it this way. You like. Like, it's a good. It's a good gimmick to fill the card up in. In their. In their one up to it.
[00:13:38] Speaker B: You got to have matches on tv, so it's nice for them to have stakes and purpose.
[00:13:42] Speaker C: Yeah, it's just a good. It's a really nice way to give it stakes and. Yeah, I'm into it. I'm into all of it. Tony is again, Tony's are on fire today.
[00:13:54] Speaker A: I would also point out that this was a very good excuse to get a second women's match on the show tonight.
[00:14:00] Speaker B: Yeah, true that.
[00:14:02] Speaker A: But it also, like, it was also like very telegraphed. Like. Like the heels should obviously win both of these series because if the heels don't have the advantage going into war games. What the point.
Like, you gotta remember this is war games.
[00:14:18] Speaker C: With his war games.
[00:14:21] Speaker B: It is staggered entrances still, right?
[00:14:24] Speaker C: Yes. Yeah, yeah, it is war game. It's just.
[00:14:27] Speaker A: It's just. It's war games. Yeah, yeah.
More. Well, I guess it doesn't have. They haven't had a. They have a. They have a ceiling on their cages, right?
[00:14:35] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, that. They do a proper.
[00:14:38] Speaker A: Yeah, it's just.
[00:14:39] Speaker C: They do war games.
[00:14:40] Speaker A: It's just the Fed that doesn't have the.
[00:14:41] Speaker C: The no triple Paul.
[00:14:43] Speaker B: They might now. I don't know. I haven't watched a W.
No, no, no.
[00:14:48] Speaker C: Because if it has a roof, then how. If it has a roof, then how can Eos sky do a moonsault off the top of it with a trash can on there for the fourth year in a row?
[00:14:59] Speaker B: I did actually. I was at War Games 2019 and did see her do that and it was pretty.
[00:15:04] Speaker C: And then I was. And then you were you at War Games 2020 and they saw her doing where you have War Games 2021. Yeah.
[00:15:12] Speaker A: It'S a great spot, but it's.
[00:15:14] Speaker C: Like it was the first time I saw it.
[00:15:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:15:17] Speaker A: I love when great Sasuke does the same thing, but like a wooden barrel and then misses and lands like flush on like a steel beam that's like exposed because they've torn up the ring. That's what I'm stats great because he's a disgusting individual.
[00:15:36] Speaker C: God, that's how that sounds like Japanese Darby Allen.
I've been doing.
[00:15:41] Speaker A: That's Sasuke. Yes. All right, so first match of these advantage series matches for the men is Orange Cassidy versus Double C, Claudio Castagnoli.
[00:15:52] Speaker C: Holy.
This is a great berry thoughts and feelings and ever. Okay, so everyone knows I love me my juice boy.
These two just. Gee, as soon as they said this is who was go who the match was, I like instantly thought back of all the times I've seen these guys fight and I was like, oh, just wow. Right away.
[00:16:17] Speaker B: Orange Cassidy and like Claudio and like Orange Cassidy and Pac are like all their generational rivals.
[00:16:25] Speaker A: Yeah, this is. This is essentially like the perfect Rivals match. Like this is.
[00:16:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:16:30] Speaker A: We are destined to do this forever, you and I.
[00:16:33] Speaker B: It's Chikara boys too. Going back.
[00:16:35] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:16:37] Speaker A: There must have been a Fire Ant vs. Claudio match at some point.
[00:16:39] Speaker B: Oh, I'm sure. If not, they probably singles and if not definitely multi man.
For sure probably were orange Cassidy vs. Claudio matches at some point.
[00:16:49] Speaker A: Boy had a nice, nice little moment when entrance. There's a person at ringside with a cutout of Chuck Taylor on a stick.
[00:16:58] Speaker B: Yeah. Chuck D getting on tv.
[00:17:00] Speaker A: So he, he made sure to pose with it. And that person looked overjoyed. I would be too.
[00:17:05] Speaker B: Oh yeah.
[00:17:06] Speaker C: I hope Chuck Taylor is somewhere overjoyed thinking about boy wrestling's kissing.
[00:17:10] Speaker A: I hope he is too. He's probably watching the six.
[00:17:13] Speaker B: I love me some Chuck Taylor.
[00:17:15] Speaker C: Make the boys kiss.
[00:17:16] Speaker A: Make the boys kiss.
[00:17:19] Speaker C: Men's roster kiss.
[00:17:20] Speaker A: OC Goes immediately at the bell with a die. Big suicide die. He like tries. He gets one big one. He tries a second one. Claudio catches him and just casually tosses him back into the ring ropes.
[00:17:31] Speaker B: This whole was like Claudio holding Orange Cassidy in the suplex position. And just doing stuff like that is one of the craziest things I've ever seen. Yeah, just like I'm going up some stairs. Yeah. I have this carrying a 200 pound man shoulders the whole time.
[00:17:46] Speaker C: Took him all the way over to the timekeeper's table and dropped them and.
[00:17:51] Speaker A: Then picked him up again. Like if there was a story to this match it was Orange trying to get his flippy lucha stuff in and Claudio just being like not being too big but being so strong that he could catch Cassie in mid air.
[00:18:08] Speaker B: Like three Claudio strength.
[00:18:09] Speaker C: Yeah, he's just too strong. Wrong.
[00:18:12] Speaker B: Like that's the.
[00:18:14] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:18:15] Speaker B: Anybody can do anything off of him because he is just like the sturdiest, strongest man that's ever lived.
[00:18:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:18:22] Speaker C: And he's in. And especially no nonsense like level Death, Death Rider, Claudia too. Like it is funny because they. I think it was. Brian might have like made a point to point out that like Claudio isn't going to be with by the hands in the pockets. And then yeah, sure enough at right after he says that words, Cassidy makes his comeback with the hands in the pockets. And it was pretty solid. And they did some of them. God, he does some really cool still but you know. Oh, he keep. But no to say he keeps trying to do the lucha and having it not work.
And then later though it pays off because he goes for that. He's trying to get him on a big like superplex into the ring and the top rope and he turns into a like top rope stunt dog millionaire. Yeah, because like that's like how you have to do it because Claudio is just so goddamn big.
Beautiful.
[00:19:26] Speaker A: There was a fun moment during the commercial break where Orange Cassie was basically. He basically like clung to the back of Claudio for like a solid minute trying to choke him out.
[00:19:37] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:19:37] Speaker A: To the point where like There was even a moment where Claudio, like, spun around in place trying to shake him off, and he's like, just like, hanging on like a.
[00:19:45] Speaker B: He turned into a cape. He looked like a Superman cape on his back. It was amazing.
[00:19:50] Speaker C: He's an orange Cassidy cake.
[00:19:52] Speaker A: Eventually he gets him off, and he's just beating the out of him at ringside. And he throws them over to commentary. And, like, they show. They pan over and they show Justin Roberts sitting at the timekeeper's table. And he just looks horrified at the violence. And that's happening like two feet from him. He's like, flinching. He's like a gas Is like, all right, good job, Justin. Good job.
Wait a way to do your part.
[00:20:15] Speaker B: He sold it. Yeah, but I mean, that's like. That's what you probably how you react when you see Claudio do it, you know, and it's fucking vague. You're like, oh, God damn.
[00:20:24] Speaker A: Oh, my God. Yeah. One of the other ones that Orange got that worked was he tried doing this sliding tornado DDT through the ropes, the old El Generico Sami Zayn spot.
And Claudio catches him and is gonna flip him. But, like, he turns it into a Lucha ddt.
[00:20:43] Speaker B: Yeah, there's that satellite DDT off of it. That was great. Right after that, I wrote just. These two have such good chemistry. Like, I was just. They play off each other so well.
[00:20:52] Speaker C: And, you know, Claudia getting shin in too, though. He.
At one point, the.
I had the thought watching this. He really can hit that uppercut out of anywhere.
[00:21:04] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Best in the business.
[00:21:06] Speaker C: He hits. He hit like the low, like people will do. I see it. I feel like I see it more when I watch New Japan, but like the sliding lariat. But he does like the sliding European uppercut.
Like what the.
[00:21:25] Speaker A: Sliding D, I think is what they called it originally.
[00:21:31] Speaker C: Man.
[00:21:32] Speaker A: Like, what the is is sick because that. That was also like the. That was Claudio's half of the story was he's trying to hit the popup power bomb the entire match, and Orange is slipping out just out of the way. So we finally get to the closing sequence.
We get that vertical suplex spot from the out, from the inside to the outside.
That was Orange gets the Sundog Millionaire. And then he's going for the Orange punch. He catches him in the pop up power bomb. Orange gets the Orange punch in midair.
[00:22:04] Speaker B: Hits him off that pop.
[00:22:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:22:06] Speaker C: Coming down.
[00:22:06] Speaker A: And that just stuns him. He goes back, pulls the El Pope hat off, elbow pad off to get the full Orange punch. And now Claudio finally gets his tosses him up and just hits that pop up uppercut and that's it.
[00:22:20] Speaker C: Like it's a finished that ruled it just God damn.
I think I, I wrote on the Internet it's like my TV match of the year.
Like I, I, I, I feel like I, I've seen a lot of good on Dynamite. That is might be one of the best things I've seen on Dynamite.
[00:22:40] Speaker B: It's just so nice having Orange Cassidy back too. I'm glad he brings such a like, consistency to the show. Like any show he's on. You're like, okay, I'm getting at least one exceptional match.
[00:22:54] Speaker A: Yeah, it feels like you can say that for aw TV in general. I feel like every week we've had like one match where it's just like, holy crap.
[00:23:03] Speaker B: Like we had, I mean this whole show, I think everything really delivered like, yeah, like ring wise. But this was a great way to kick it off.
[00:23:10] Speaker C: They really are on one.
[00:23:11] Speaker A: It was like what, like three straight weeks. Moxley delivered outstanding TV matches against Ishii and then twice against Kyle O'Reilly is.
[00:23:19] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:23:22] Speaker A: Fantastic stuff. All right, so to the back.
[00:23:24] Speaker C: Guamo parts.
[00:23:25] Speaker A: Yes. Conglomo parts. Renee is with Mark Briscoe, Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis.
No physicality agreed upon beforehand. Mark had challenged Kyle Fletcher to yet another TNT title match and he, he wants an answer.
[00:23:43] Speaker B: Yeah. One thing I like in AEW too is like a lot of when they agree to no physicality, a lot of times it doesn't happen. Like, they actually adhere to that. I like. So I'm so used to that just being like, okay, no, that's out the windows. Like, no, actually you're following through.
[00:23:56] Speaker C: Rules is rules.
[00:23:57] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:23:58] Speaker C: And the one time they didn't was beautiful because it was that FTR bit where they came after CNC Bondage Factory.
And they're like, you can't touch this. It cost you $500,000. And they're just like, it.
[00:24:15] Speaker B: We're rich. And.
[00:24:22] Speaker A: Yeah, the other one was when they're like, all right, we'll be fine if we attack ftr, but we can kill Stokely.
[00:24:32] Speaker C: Good time.
[00:24:33] Speaker A: So Mark's, Mark's pitch for receiving another title match is that Kyle won at Wrestle Dream via a kick to the genitals.
And that can't be fulfilling. It's like making out with your sister. Right?
[00:24:49] Speaker B: Thank you, Mark. That's a weird thing to say, bro.
[00:24:51] Speaker A: Yeah, that was, that was kind of weird. I know. That's like, that's, that's kind of like an old.
[00:24:57] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:24:58] Speaker A: Kind of thing. But like we don't use it so much anymore.
[00:25:01] Speaker B: Because even like you said it through Kyle Fletcher like went what.
[00:25:08] Speaker C: I kind of like.
Kyle Fletcher is what? British? Australia.
[00:25:13] Speaker B: Australia. Yeah, he's an A. Yeah, I was guess.
[00:25:15] Speaker C: No, I was gonna say he's from Australia. And even he's going what the.
[00:25:19] Speaker A: Oh they have, they have incest down there too. Don't let them be fool you.
[00:25:24] Speaker C: I've seen the horror movies. Yeah.
[00:25:27] Speaker A: So Mark wants to make the testicle kick. Null and void, no DQ match at full gear. So Don Callis jumps in at this point and says you got it.
But we have to sweeten the pot.
This is all benefits Mark. If he wins, he gets the title. If he loses, he doesn't lose anything. So let's make a deal with the devil. If Mark Briscoe loses, then he will have to leave the conglomeration and join the Don Callis family.
Mark agrees and says that Don is the one who just made a deal with the devil.
[00:26:01] Speaker B: Silver Tongue Snake at one point there's a.
[00:26:04] Speaker A: There's a talk all for a guy that feuded with MJF a couple months ago.
[00:26:11] Speaker B: Mark Jacob Briscoe.
It's infected.
It's like the Squirt from Malachi Black.
[00:26:21] Speaker A: Oh, it's the Squirt. That's right. Oh God. That's right, the Squirt. So what does MJF have? He just gives you a spray tan or something?
[00:26:29] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, he just gives you a really shitty spray tan. And.
And let's say protein powder. Yeah, that's it.
[00:26:38] Speaker A: Yeah, protein powder, protein steroids.
[00:26:43] Speaker C: Protein snacks.
[00:26:44] Speaker B: I feel like full gear's getting a little like heavy loaded with rematches here.
Like I don't know about this many matches that we just saw on the last Pay per View and like I'm sure it's gonna be a kick ass match between Mark and Kyle Fletcher. Especially no dt. Probably go crazy. Is probably amazing. Like the program's been going on for a minute.
[00:27:06] Speaker C: Their last match, it was literally probably my match of the year.
[00:27:10] Speaker B: Overall it was amazing.
[00:27:12] Speaker A: Yeah, I ain't mad about it though.
[00:27:13] Speaker B: Like it'll be good.
[00:27:15] Speaker A: But we have noted that like a lot of what full gear the built like a couple weeks ago. Like we said, the build of full gear looks like it's going to be a lot of rematches and that is in fact the case.
[00:27:25] Speaker B: And I also just, I don't want Kyle to lose the title and I also don't want Mark to join the Don Callis family. Neither of those Are the direction I think things should go.
[00:27:36] Speaker A: Right.
[00:27:36] Speaker B: I never like, like reluctant forced into a faction. Story lines for some reason, they just feel very inauthentic to me.
[00:27:44] Speaker A: I. I don't think. I think Mark's winning. I don't think they're gonna make him join the Don calmly. Sometimes the face just should win.
[00:27:51] Speaker B: Yeah. Kyle. He's still good with it. He can move on.
[00:27:55] Speaker A: Yeah.
We come back from commercial and the young bucks and Josh Alexander are now with Renee. They review the fact that the bucks and Josh Alexander are teaming together against Jurassic express and Kenny omega. Million dollar trios at full gear for the. The money match. The million dollar match. Great, great stuff here.
[00:28:19] Speaker B: I like that. Yeah. The bucks whole story for a while now it's just been we need money.
[00:28:24] Speaker A: They're not even before they're just like, we need money.
[00:28:28] Speaker B: They're addicted to the slot machines. Like they really are the story of America.
[00:28:33] Speaker A: Huh. Don says he hated the way that the bucks have been treated like jobbers and all that other stuff.
And he wants them to feel like family and join his family. Like the whole Don callis family comes out to like, do a big group hug and get him in the colonies. Like there's even somebody you know. And here's Okada. And he just like, stands there and smiles. Like he doesn't say anything for a second.
He's just like, hey, guys. And the bucks. The bucks. Look into it.
It's very, very culty.
[00:29:07] Speaker B: Yeah. Don talking about getting the bucks an escalade from the airport and finding a. Like, Matt found the gift basket underneath the seat for him.
It's just such like, cheesy pimp.
Yeah.
[00:29:21] Speaker C: It feels like old nwo like showing up with the limo. Like, look, we got like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's it.
[00:29:30] Speaker B: It's.
[00:29:30] Speaker C: It's skeezy Bischoff vibes. That's what it is.
I. I love the Don Callis family more and more every week.
[00:29:38] Speaker B: It's fun. It's fun stuff.
[00:29:40] Speaker C: Yosoi heo.
[00:29:43] Speaker A: They just look like big cultish dorks at this point.
[00:29:47] Speaker B: It's so great. I love it.
[00:29:50] Speaker A: The. The bucks kind of just look like, yeah, we're being love bombed. This always.
This always ends well for the person being love bombed.
And. But they say they need some more time to think about it. And Don. Don says, hey, we'll give you all the space and time you need. Come on, boys.
But Okada takes a moment before he leaves and says, don't take too much time.
Carrot and stick. Carrot and stick.
[00:30:16] Speaker B: A little detail too, like when they leave, when the Don Chaos family leaves. Don goes, let's go. And I didn't catch who it was, but one was here.
I think it was Rocky or something like under his breath on the way.
You just gotta walk into frame and walk right back out.
[00:30:33] Speaker A: Next, we're back to the ring for wrestling action.
The women's world title tournament opening round match. Mercedes Monet and Athena versus the babes of Wrath, of Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron. Mercedes has the belt boys again. Good for her.
Is wonderful.
[00:30:50] Speaker B: Amazing outfit tonight too.
[00:30:51] Speaker C: They were. They were especially nice tonight. I felt like they were really belting it up.
[00:30:57] Speaker B: It's not the frat house anymore, I don't think.
[00:31:00] Speaker C: No, they were boing very hard.
[00:31:02] Speaker A: They. They do need. They do need more of them, I believe. I think she should have two per belt to hold them just like.
God. How do you. What's like a group of men called, like, not like a gaggle. Like a gaggle of geese. Like, what's a group of men? Like a podcast, I guess.
[00:31:19] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:31:20] Speaker C: No, no, not in my. Not in my experience.
A group of. What's a problem called.
[00:31:29] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:31:30] Speaker C: Yeah, I was gonna say a problem.
[00:31:32] Speaker B: Scary.
[00:31:34] Speaker C: We're talking. For me, personally, I. I find that scary.
[00:31:37] Speaker A: I like that. A problem of men.
[00:31:46] Speaker B: If anytime it's more than like four or five together, it's a problem.
[00:31:50] Speaker A: It's a problem.
Some turf is going to hear this and get so pissed.
[00:32:00] Speaker B: I don't think that's gonna be the first thing they get pissed off at about this.
[00:32:03] Speaker C: Yeah, I was gonna say.
[00:32:04] Speaker B: I don't think that's. If they've made it this far into the show before getting mad. They're not very good turfs. Like.
Yeah.
[00:32:12] Speaker A: Yeah. Some of them. Some of them are persistent.
[00:32:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:32:17] Speaker A: Oh, my God. It was like I was getting weird, weird feedback on Triller and my headphones.
I don't know what that was, but, like, I thought I was like, holy. Is somebody next to me and there's nobody next to me to the window. So haunted or. Aw. Audio issues rear their ugly head.
[00:32:34] Speaker B: It could be both. A little from. A little from combination, little from column.
[00:32:39] Speaker A: C.
[00:32:42] Speaker B: The babes of Wrath make him happy.
[00:32:44] Speaker A: I was like, yeah, I like. I like. He's just like, what emotions they feel. Happiness.
[00:32:51] Speaker B: Yeah. I like. Brian Danielson is happy. That is a thing I feel.
And they make us happy too. It's a great tag team.
[00:32:58] Speaker A: Yeah.
Treat Bryan Danielson like that kid from the Twilight Zone episode. We have to keep him Happy. We have to keep him happy or he'll send us to the cornfield.
[00:33:09] Speaker C: Oh, now I could just see that picture from the article of, like, him making the sinister there will be fines face. You know.
[00:33:17] Speaker B: I immediately just think of the treehouse of horror. One where Bart turns Homer into the.
[00:33:24] Speaker A: Well, well, that's. That's. That's what it's referencing.
[00:33:27] Speaker B: Yeah. That is based off of. Yeah. But no, that's all. I've watched so much Simpsons throughout my life. Like, it's. Anytime I see the thing that Simpsons is referencing, it automatically goes, I went back to watch the Godfather and, like, had Vietnam every 10 seconds.
[00:33:43] Speaker A: What if we told you that this monster was actually a.
A retired professional wrestler in his 40s? He does commentary on television. Pretty great twist, huh?
But you didn't see that one coming.
[00:33:58] Speaker C: Hi, I'm Scott Steiner. You might know me from thing you said, you said, you said monster. Thing I thought about was Scott Steiner.
[00:34:14] Speaker A: Scott Steiner's Shoney. It's a monster.
[00:34:17] Speaker C: He's a Shoney's monster.
[00:34:18] Speaker B: What do you call a steroid riddled man who can't do that?
[00:34:22] Speaker A: A monster.
Sorry. To people who can't do math and do steroids.
[00:34:29] Speaker C: I'm sorry to Piper who has to edit this.
[00:34:33] Speaker A: Good luck. Sorry.
It's cute that they think I'm actually gonna bother editing it and not consider all of that gold.
It really is.
So the heels jump Harley right from the get go.
And they're basically making it a strategy to try to keep her in the ring because she is the least experienced.
Yeah.
[00:34:56] Speaker B: It's just like straight cheesing on the apron immediately. Like, she just turns the hard game.
[00:35:00] Speaker A: Like, I. I love Athena. She's just.
[00:35:04] Speaker B: It's so good. I like the little touches.
[00:35:07] Speaker A: She never stops. She never stops. She's just.
[00:35:10] Speaker B: She's always, like, she's always jawjacking or making faces. Like, she's always doing something. Like, no matter what she's working.
[00:35:17] Speaker C: She's an energizer bunny of heel.
[00:35:19] Speaker B: Yeah. And it's funny when you see Billy Starks because Billy does that. You can tell Billy learned from Athena because she really, like, is constantly, like, doing little bits and stuff that just even between moves, keep things going.
[00:35:31] Speaker C: I could just imagine, like, like you. Like you are a small child. You are 18. You have so much energy. Work that girl.
Use that.
[00:35:41] Speaker B: Yeah, they're a fantastic.
[00:35:43] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:35:44] Speaker C: Minion training.
[00:35:46] Speaker A: They work over Harley in the opening portion of the match, but she does tag Willow in who runs wild.
They get some tandem offense after Harley Gets tagged back in. They do like a little wheelbarrow.
Assisted wheelbarrow spot.
[00:35:59] Speaker B: Yeah, the casadora into the flop thing. Yeah, yeah, we got some big Boston sucks. Chance going too.
[00:36:07] Speaker A: Boston sucks and Dallas sucks because this is so big that they're like. They have problems. They have inter. Texan problems.
[00:36:16] Speaker B: Sports beef between Dallas and Boston or something. Because I feel like every time.
[00:36:20] Speaker A: Oh, no, because. Well, no, because they're in Houston. So Houston would hate Dallas and everybody hates Boston.
[00:36:25] Speaker B: Oh, this is Houston. Sorry. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It does seem like a lot of places hate Boston.
[00:36:31] Speaker A: Everybody hates Boston.
[00:36:32] Speaker C: Well, they're saying Boston sucks because I'm from Michigan.
[00:36:36] Speaker B: We only hate Chicago.
[00:36:38] Speaker C: Mercedes is from Ohio.
[00:36:42] Speaker B: Yeah, we're gonna hate Ohio more than Chicago. Actually.
[00:36:45] Speaker A: I feel like it's more like a regional city thing. Like Philly only hates.
Philly hates New York and we hate Pittsburgh and we hate. That's kind of it. We don't like New York.
[00:36:55] Speaker B: I first. I don't have any problem with any city, as you say. I love y'. All.
[00:36:59] Speaker C: Oh, is this. Is this the part of the podcast we're doing that? Hold on, let me get my list.
[00:37:04] Speaker B: All the cities you hate.
[00:37:05] Speaker C: No, never mind.
[00:37:08] Speaker B: I'm not fond of Gary, Indiana.
[00:37:11] Speaker C: I got problems with you people.
[00:37:15] Speaker B: We're gonna alienate every listener group.
[00:37:19] Speaker A: I've got something to say about Haddonfield, New Jersey.
[00:37:23] Speaker C: Look, Seattle. Lovely. It's too wet. All right, y' all try to say it's not raining all the time. You're lying. I was there.
[00:37:31] Speaker B: Frazier is a great Phoenix.
[00:37:33] Speaker A: What's with all the irrigation?
Can't you just make water in the desert?
[00:37:38] Speaker B: Kalamazoo, Your name's too funny.
[00:37:43] Speaker C: See also Bemidji.
Anyways, we should talk about wrestling. Yeah.
[00:37:50] Speaker A: Yes, we are going to talk about wrestling now. So they. They basically commentary is like kind of putting over the. The fact that the Babes of Wrath are the underdogs mostly because of Harley and Willow's also like, Willow's got a lot of experience, but she hasn't won like the big one.
[00:38:09] Speaker B: Really are going against a team where the two people in the team, the main things they are known for are not losing. Like I see day Mercedes is the longest running TBS champion and has won 12 battles. Like that is both of their gimmicks like dominance.
[00:38:26] Speaker C: She is Ultimo Monet. Yeah, but have they considered that Harley Cameron is Harley Cameron?
[00:38:34] Speaker A: Well, it turns out they did not.
[00:38:36] Speaker C: Yeah, she got real good. She's doing like.
[00:38:39] Speaker A: She has gotten very good.
[00:38:40] Speaker C: She's gotten very good.
[00:38:41] Speaker B: At wrestling, she was always entertaining, but she's really come together on the entering stuff lately.
[00:38:46] Speaker C: Like, God damn. Yeah.
[00:38:48] Speaker A: So the champions kind of run roughshod on Harley during the commercial break. And then right then towards the end, she manages to create some separation. Willow gets a blind tag. She hits this sweet looking double crucifix bomb on both the heels.
[00:39:04] Speaker B: Yeah, Harley hit that. That show was not early.
I was gonna say. That blew my mind.
[00:39:09] Speaker A: And then Willow just comes in and just starts wrecking house. And it's awesome.
[00:39:14] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Willow's a great hot tag. Like, she really duper great. Kills those bits.
[00:39:20] Speaker A: She. She was just doing really good on that. Somehow Harley is legal again. And like, the heels. Like, the heels now are just scrambling. They're just like, trying to murder Harley at any possible opportunity because they think she's the weak.
[00:39:33] Speaker C: The weak link.
[00:39:34] Speaker A: She is the weak. They think she's the weak link.
[00:39:36] Speaker B: You are the weakest link. You know, 2000s of references out here.
[00:39:40] Speaker A: She managed to survive the. The money statement. Money. Money maker. I forget what her submission.
[00:39:46] Speaker B: The statement maker is the submission now.
[00:39:50] Speaker A: Yeah, right. Okay. I keep. I keep getting it.
[00:39:53] Speaker B: Give me the bank statement. Because she's not Sasha Banks anymore. So it's the state.
[00:39:57] Speaker A: Yeah, she's not Sasha Banks. She's Mercedes money.
[00:40:01] Speaker C: Ultimo money.
[00:40:02] Speaker B: Thank you.
[00:40:02] Speaker A: Ultimo money.
Money. Athena gets pounced to hell.
[00:40:07] Speaker C: Yes, she does.
[00:40:08] Speaker B: You ever notice that the. The rich uncle on Fresh Prince of Bel Air, his name was Phil Up Banks.
[00:40:19] Speaker C: Really?
That's amazing. I just realized it's an audio meeting.
[00:40:24] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:40:24] Speaker C: And see the bass I just made?
[00:40:28] Speaker B: Yeah. I didn't know how that was gonna.
I don't even.
[00:40:35] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[00:40:36] Speaker A: Focus, damn it. Focus.
[00:40:37] Speaker C: Focusing. I'm focusing.
[00:40:39] Speaker A: Focus. So Athena gets pounced into the. The submission pile. And that breaks it up.
[00:40:46] Speaker B: That was cool.
But I've never seen it. I've never seen a submission broken up by somebody being pounced into it before. You see people stand into a lot, but, like, that was very.
[00:40:57] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:40:57] Speaker B: Nifty.
[00:40:58] Speaker C: Yeah, nifty. That was neat.
[00:41:01] Speaker A: It was neat for shoot. Athena gets back and starts doing power.
Yeah. Like lifting up Willow, slamming her. And then she.
[00:41:10] Speaker B: She gets Willow up like nothing.
[00:41:13] Speaker A: She gets Willow up in a. In a fire. Fire woman's carry. And then Harley in position for a fallaway slam. And then tosses both of them at once. It's impressive when you do it with two people, but we're like, one of them with. It was Willow in this situation was just like, God damn.
[00:41:30] Speaker B: And Athena is Not like a super big person. Like, I think she's probably like five, four, five.
[00:41:36] Speaker A: She's definitely.
[00:41:36] Speaker B: She's strong, don't get me wrong. But, like, it looks so crazy when she does that stuff because she's not like huge in stature.
[00:41:43] Speaker A: She's got that bandido strength, I think, like, just deceptively powerful people for being rather short of size. Billy Starks has now appeared.
[00:41:53] Speaker C: Just one of us.
[00:41:53] Speaker B: Goblin facing.
[00:41:54] Speaker A: Yes.
She just emerges and goes to get Athena's title, tries to pass it off to her, but Chris Statlander comes out, runs her off to even the odds. And then she chases off Mercedes. Oh, Harley gets her.
Tony Schiavone just said that's her finishing maneuver. Yeah.
[00:42:15] Speaker B: Nobody knows what it's called. I don't know what it's called.
[00:42:17] Speaker A: I don't know what it's called.
It looks like a reverse roll the dice. I'm not calling it the Crossroads anymore.
[00:42:23] Speaker B: Yeah, it's like an inverted, like, flipping ddt.
[00:42:27] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:42:28] Speaker B: It looks. She hits it great, too. Athena took it fantastic. And Harley, like, hit her right on the top of her head.
[00:42:34] Speaker C: That's literally the name. That's literally the name of the move. Is her finishing.
[00:42:39] Speaker B: Is it?
[00:42:40] Speaker C: It's her finishing move. Yes. That's been. That was established a while ago.
[00:42:45] Speaker B: Usually she loses in matches I watch, so I.
[00:42:48] Speaker A: That's her finishing maneuver.
[00:42:51] Speaker C: That's Harley Cameron's fishing move. That's her finishing move.
[00:42:54] Speaker B: Ah, she's so clean.
[00:42:56] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:42:57] Speaker A: So the fact that finishing.
[00:42:59] Speaker B: I didn't know that. I thought that was just like, the times I'd seen it, I thought that was just them saying it and not knowing H. They got.
No, this is Pony Shivani all over again.
[00:43:08] Speaker C: Yeah. So maybe I feel like Maneuver might be a Shivani embellishment, which I. I welcome. But. Yeah, no, it's like that there. She's like, this is my finishing move.
It's. It's very. It's very orange. Cassie, I don't have a cat.
[00:43:24] Speaker B: Yeah, no, that's great.
[00:43:27] Speaker C: I'm into it.
[00:43:28] Speaker A: Well, that was enough to win the match as Harley Cameron pins the forever Ring of Honor women's champion Athena to advance the Babes of Power to the semifinals.
[00:43:38] Speaker C: It was not expecting this win and I'm very pleased with it.
[00:43:42] Speaker B: This tournament's already not going the way I expected at all, which I really like. It's nice being kept on my toes a little bit.
[00:43:49] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:43:50] Speaker B: Like, sisters are saying they're an established tag team, so I, you know, I kind of. But I definitely go seeing Jamie And Aminata beating them too. And like this I think will be a very fun matchup between them. Got the super faces versus the Gothics.
[00:44:03] Speaker A: Sure.
There. I do only have one complaint, which is that I can't say I'm a fan that both matches for the inaugural women's tag title matches have ended with outside.
[00:44:18] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:20] Speaker A: Leading to the finish.
[00:44:21] Speaker B: True.
[00:44:22] Speaker A: That's just, that's just a thought. Like, I know that I'm, I, I'm not quite one of those people who is like, no, there should never be any outside interference in matches ever. Any time. But like, I feel like in this case.
[00:44:35] Speaker B: Well, I mean, I hope they don't keep doing it like, yeah, it could be over.
[00:44:39] Speaker C: It could be over.
[00:44:40] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:41] Speaker C: Quick.
[00:44:42] Speaker B: And I do worry with there being like, you can't factor, like, we'll be surprised if Tecla does something in the next in the semisier again. But hopefully on the other side of the bracket will be a little cleaner like.
[00:44:53] Speaker A: And there, there is. It is also hard to ignore the fact that there.
There's like a bigger feud happening behind the scenes as well.
[00:45:00] Speaker B: Blood and guts is going on around all of this too. So they're trying to keep building stuff there.
[00:45:05] Speaker C: Everything feeds into blood guts. It's kind of. Kind of beautiful.
[00:45:10] Speaker B: Yeah. But even with that interfere, I will say that was a sick ass match. Those four worked great together.
[00:45:17] Speaker A: That was a very good match.
[00:45:18] Speaker B: Harley's definitely coming together every. The other three are like some of the best wrestlers in the company.
[00:45:23] Speaker A: Even. Even the faces look stunned that they won that match.
[00:45:27] Speaker B: I like, they pose up next to the bell. It's like, God damn. Yeah, we did it.
That's pretty cool.
[00:45:34] Speaker A: I'm calling it now. Harley's pending pain in the finals.
[00:45:37] Speaker B: That would be. I would really. I would be okay with faves of wrath with being inaugural champs, especially since.
[00:45:43] Speaker A: They'Ve been talking up hardcore that nobody has pinned Megan Bain except for Tony Storm. Like, they keep bringing it up. They keep bringing it up. She's. She's eating the loss in that final match. Man.
It's gonna be good. All right. So continuing on, Tony Schiavone is back in the ring to talk more about the national title and presumably not to be assaulted by Sono Joe.
And they announce that the first champion will be decided at full gear in the Casino Gauntlet Battle Royale.
[00:46:15] Speaker B: One other thing that's funny about this title is how pissed off a bunch of wrestlers from NWA are about it because they still have the. The NWA national champion still exists. It's Mike Mondo. From Spirit Squad is the current NWA national champion. So it's like this is, this is obviously not that title. This is. Aw.
And they're just talking about how called the national title on PBS in 40 years. But people are mad that they were like invoking the legacy of it. And it's like, no, it's, it's like nobody watches. NWA come on.
[00:46:47] Speaker A: And Mike Mondo is the holder.
[00:46:50] Speaker B: Yeah, I forgot.
[00:46:51] Speaker A: He like, so like, like, no disrespect to Mike Mondo, but actually, yeah, there's a lot of disrespect.
[00:46:58] Speaker B: You're in the Spirit Squad.
[00:47:01] Speaker A: Go yourself, buddy.
So two men have already signed up to enter the Casino Gauntlet Battle Royale and it is Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin of the Hurt Syndicate. Bryan Danielson has a towering erection because of this and he is excited at the prospect of them fighting each other.
[00:47:18] Speaker B: Thump the desk.
[00:47:19] Speaker A: Yeah, I could hear his pants ripping.
That's what, that's the benefit of wearing the headphones while watching these shows.
So MVP is going to talk for him and he does. He checks. He pulls Tony's goatee, actually.
[00:47:35] Speaker B: Yeah, I like that. He, he goes to feel actually his face. That was so clever.
[00:47:39] Speaker A: So he does name off former greats who are national champion. Does not list off Mike Mondo for obvious reasons. Because he's Mike Mondo.
[00:47:48] Speaker B: He's a current grade.
[00:47:49] Speaker A: I don't, I don't know about that.
[00:47:51] Speaker B: It could be good. I have no idea.
[00:47:53] Speaker A: And it doesn't matter because you know who's more iconic than Mike Mondo and all the other former national champions? The Hurt Syndicate.
[00:48:01] Speaker C: They hurt people.
[00:48:02] Speaker A: They hurt people and it's good for business. What happens if they end up fighting each other? Well, it's good business. And the Hurt Syndicate win and also the fans win. And I agree. Yes, let them fight.
[00:48:14] Speaker B: No, I want Bobby and fight Shelton. Like have a good a drag out mat, like.
[00:48:18] Speaker A: But here come the demand and they're sick ass. One piece Admiral Coats Ricochet with the Eagles hat. He doesn't seem to know that Texas is big and that they're not in Dallas, but you know, whatever.
I guess nobody likes the Eagles in all of Texas and that's kind of mutual. So yeah, he just talks constantly. The crowd is furious at him and just won't stop booing.
[00:48:46] Speaker B: He's getting crazy heat here. Like, I know we talked at length about how great he has become a heel, but like when you see this and it is just a constant chorus of boo, it doesn't let up. They consistently are either Wing or yelling at him.
[00:49:01] Speaker A: This entire promo, I really couldn't even tell what.
[00:49:05] Speaker B: Ricochet was kind of drowned out.
[00:49:07] Speaker A: Yeah. It's like, I hate you guys. You guys suck. We're going to keep with you forever.
And MVP just eventually says, like, nobody cares what you have to say. You've never done anything well except you're get your ass beat by us.
It's true. But Ricochet did also say. He promised to make sure that Hurt Syndicate never hold gold again. And the demand is entering the casino gauntlet to make sure that happens.
[00:49:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:49:36] Speaker A: And they run away.
[00:49:37] Speaker B: I'd be cool with Ricochet. I want him to have old. I want Ricochet to have a belt. Give him this.
[00:49:43] Speaker A: Ricochet should have a belt.
[00:49:44] Speaker B: He should have a shiny dragon defending Dragon Gate. So I can watch it?
[00:49:48] Speaker A: Yes, sure.
I don't. Yeah, you know what? Yeah. It's a national title. You can go.
[00:49:53] Speaker B: Yeah. That's the point of this title is to be defended in other promotions and. Yeah.
[00:49:58] Speaker C: Oh, I missed that.
[00:50:00] Speaker B: Yeah. This is gonna be like. Did you remember when they initially introduced the international title? Like, that was the whole concept of it. It was gonna.
It was gonna be in AEW sometimes, but it was really gonna be like their cross promotional title. And then it just kind of became a mid card title and got absorbed into the continental. They say that's. Oh, yeah, that's what I said earlier with like, give it to one. Like what the luchadors. Give it to them and they can go to CMLL or they can go do Japan.
[00:50:27] Speaker C: I miss. I missed that. Okay, we'll see. Now I'm. I fully understand the logic of why have the title now. I'm just mad that. That you're pissing on the. The women's tag match.
The women's tag tournament. I feel like, wait. Wait until after you have crowned them and then.
[00:50:48] Speaker B: Yeah, no, that's a very good point.
[00:50:49] Speaker C: Yeah, like, that's really. It's the timing is all it comes down to.
[00:50:54] Speaker B: Yeah, that's fair. I get what you're saying.
[00:50:55] Speaker C: I love that idea.
[00:50:56] Speaker A: It is the timing. But like, I have a suspicion that they haven't done the full card for Wrestle Kingdom. I have a suspicion that they might try and get a national title match on that card against your Ricochet, depending on who's champion.
And it should be Ricochet. Ricochet. Ricochet was great last year against Zack Sabre Jr.
[00:51:15] Speaker B: So, yeah, sure, yeah, it got that. The match kind of got overshadowed with versus. With Kenny versus Gabe, which was like, I, you know, perfect match. But Rick Shaver Saber ruled. Like, it was great.
[00:51:27] Speaker A: I think people were very surprised by it.
[00:51:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:51:30] Speaker A: Even live. Yeah, I was surprised by it.
[00:51:33] Speaker C: I like the idea of Ricochet going away for a while.
[00:51:36] Speaker B: No matter. For all of this, we're getting a casino gauntlet match, which are, like, everyone has been amazing except one that was kind of mid. But, like, every other one has been, well, some of my favorite matches. So I'm never gonna complain about it.
[00:51:47] Speaker A: It does make. It does make you wonder who. What surprises they might have in store for it. But we'll see.
We will see.
[00:51:56] Speaker B: It's gonna be Enzo Amore coming out for the win.
[00:52:00] Speaker C: Jesus.
God.
I. I would stop.
[00:52:04] Speaker A: I can't say what I want to do because I don't want to give Piper more editing work.
[00:52:08] Speaker B: That's very. Yeah. Don't need to ring the bell here.
[00:52:14] Speaker A: Backstage. Yeah, backstage we hear from Whitland, Jack and Luchasaurus.
[00:52:20] Speaker B: Yeah, we're Dragon's back.
[00:52:21] Speaker A: They're both excited for the million dollar match. And he hears that. He pulls out a hundred dollar bill and he says, I hear the bucks can do this.
So he puts it down on a wooden board, and he stabs his knife into it. And it's outside Don Gal's family locker room. And Luchasaurus is like, I could. I could buy a hundred tacos with that.
[00:52:44] Speaker C: Leave it.
[00:52:45] Speaker A: Jack tells him to leave it.
[00:52:46] Speaker B: Like a dog about to eat something it's not supposed to on a walk.
I will just.
[00:52:51] Speaker A: So now, like, they really. They really are doing a boy and his dinosaur.
[00:52:54] Speaker B: This is fun. It's fun.
[00:52:56] Speaker C: It's a man in his dinosaur. He's like, what if I. What if I was.
[00:52:59] Speaker B: So this popped in my head for returns for casino gauntlet. Is J.
Think about knife perverse here and that.
Yeah, that would be a great comeback.
[00:53:08] Speaker A: Or.
Oh, God, I want a knife pervert.
[00:53:13] Speaker B: Versus Knife pervert fight.
[00:53:15] Speaker A: The little guy.
Who's the little stunt?
Marcus.
[00:53:19] Speaker B: Yeah, he's done Marco. He's physically incapable of wrestling now. He actually.
[00:53:24] Speaker C: Yeah, Marco.
[00:53:25] Speaker B: Yeah. He sells cars now.
[00:53:25] Speaker C: Retired.
[00:53:26] Speaker B: He's been post.
[00:53:27] Speaker A: Of course he does. Yeah.
[00:53:28] Speaker B: He got a job at a car dealership, and he's doing, like, managerial work. It's only Memphis indie or something. He seems very happy.
[00:53:34] Speaker C: Mar.
[00:53:34] Speaker B: Marco.
[00:53:35] Speaker C: Marco, if you're listening, I'm about halfway to my down payment goal.
[00:53:40] Speaker B: You help with financing.
[00:53:41] Speaker C: Fund me if. Or just even if you got a good Kia, you know, hit a girl up. Love. Love your work.
[00:53:50] Speaker A: I feel like the car dealership is Valhalla for wrestlers who retire but aren't.
[00:53:55] Speaker B: But also wrestlers that retire. It's, I guess 40 chance you're gonna stay retired.
Like.
[00:54:03] Speaker A: Yeah. And because you're gonna be in a car dealership, you're gonna be making actual money.
[00:54:07] Speaker B: Literally half of AEW are people that were like, oh, they're never gonna wrestle again. And then they got, like, stem cells shot into their ass, and now they're great. Or.
[00:54:15] Speaker A: Yes. Well, that's because it's. Yeah.
[00:54:17] Speaker B: Future.
[00:54:17] Speaker A: If you can afford the stem cells in your ass, that's a treatment you should always go for, I suppose.
[00:54:21] Speaker B: Even, like, Brent Danielson was back for as long as you want. It's like something nobody thought was gonna be possible.
[00:54:26] Speaker A: I mean, hell, like Rey Mysterio. Like, they. People thought he was done.
[00:54:32] Speaker B: Crazy can happen.
[00:54:33] Speaker C: It's just like, we can build him back better.
[00:54:35] Speaker B: We had his brain taken out of his head. They removed it with an ice cream scoop like that Simpsons episode and put it in a robot. And now he's challenging for the or. He's holding the trio's title.
[00:54:50] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:54:50] Speaker C: He's a mech. That's why I always say Shapata is a mechanic.
They put his brain in this, like, Mecca. Shabata.
[00:55:00] Speaker A: All right, so there. There is more wrestling on this show, believe it or not.
[00:55:04] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:55:05] Speaker A: Who knew?
This is another the second blood and guts advantage match. For the men's match, we have Dorby Allen versus Daniel Garcia.
Dorby.
[00:55:17] Speaker C: Oh, okay. I'm gonna go get a snack real quick.
[00:55:21] Speaker A: Okay, fair enough.
[00:55:23] Speaker C: Do you feel free to add this? That's just me making a Darby Allen sucks joke. And also, I gotta grab a new water.
[00:55:30] Speaker B: I do a snack.
[00:55:32] Speaker A: Snacks are good. Mox is hyping up Danny before his entrance, basically being like, get the job done. Yeah.
[00:55:37] Speaker B: I also kind of took is like, Mox not wanting to have to fight Roderick Strong, being like, okay, come on. Like, you guys, if you can take care of this, then I don't have to do that match.
[00:55:46] Speaker A: I don't want to work Saturday.
[00:55:48] Speaker B: Yeah. Because Claudio already won, so.
[00:55:50] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:55:51] Speaker C: Yep.
[00:55:52] Speaker A: Garcia wants to go to the ground game immediately. But Excalibur shouts out classic AEW lore about how Taz when team Taz feuding with his amateur background and like, I don't remember that at all.
[00:56:05] Speaker B: Yeah, I also wasn't watching weekly at that time, though. I was only watching, like, pay per views.
[00:56:10] Speaker A: And so I. Yeah, I wasn't either. But, like, whenever. When he's like, darby Allen has an extra wrestling background. I'm like, the. He.
[00:56:19] Speaker B: I don't think he did it?
[00:56:20] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:56:20] Speaker B: I thought he was, like, pretending to be homeless and on TLC shows when he was a kid. Like, I don't think maybe I'm wrong. Maybe he was, like, state champ or something.
[00:56:28] Speaker A: I was wrestling the Property Brothers brother.
[00:56:31] Speaker B: He was on that.
[00:56:32] Speaker A: We were tussling in the back. He did Bad Touch.
[00:56:35] Speaker B: Have you ever seen that clip he was on? The sex sent me to the hospital show where he made the story up. That was always fake.
It was him and, like, an older lady. And he made up a story about how they had sex in the side and he got stung by bees. And he's like, yeah, they paid me, like, 500 bucks, so you'll have to look up because he has, like, emo kid hair. And, like, it's.
[00:57:00] Speaker A: Man, you know what? I hate when that happens. Just you're having sex and you get stung by bees.
Happens more often than you think.
[00:57:09] Speaker B: Enough that you make a TV show on it.
[00:57:11] Speaker C: Right front of my zebra cake.
[00:57:12] Speaker A: Jeff.
[00:57:13] Speaker B: What?
[00:57:13] Speaker A: The TV show out of it. Oh, you got the Christmas. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
[00:57:17] Speaker B: Oh, is it the trees? Yeah.
[00:57:19] Speaker C: Aldi, I'm telling you, I'm coming on home.
[00:57:26] Speaker A: There's a deep cut.
[00:57:28] Speaker C: Piper, again, I'm sorry. We're having a time. We're just. Everybody's having a fun time. Everyone's having fun Christmas time.
[00:57:37] Speaker A: I, too, am having a wonderful time, and I hope you are as well, dear listener.
[00:57:42] Speaker C: Gray apps.
[00:57:43] Speaker A: All right, so Garcia decides, like, I'm gonna remove on the turnbuckle thing, and I'm going to choke Darby Allen with it. And Danielson's like, well, that's a terrible idea because that's Darby Allen's.
And then, yes, it turns out it was. It backfires horribly in front of the former dancing boy. And then.
[00:58:05] Speaker B: Sorry for dancing boy. Got me. Yeah, he does. He teases the dancing at one point, too, and he denies it. He's good. Heel heat.
[00:58:13] Speaker A: He does it twice, and he. He needs to stop doing it. Yeah, like, he needs to. Just because he's, like, relying on that to get his heat. And I think he's better than that.
[00:58:22] Speaker C: He's gotta divorce it.
[00:58:24] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:58:26] Speaker B: Don't do it. Divorce.
[00:58:27] Speaker C: I want him to be.
[00:58:27] Speaker B: That's too much.
[00:58:28] Speaker A: You can do better, Danny. Daddy. You can do better.
[00:58:31] Speaker C: Listen to the daddy magic in your heart.
[00:58:36] Speaker B: Wwdmd.
[00:58:37] Speaker C: You got this thing.
[00:58:39] Speaker A: So Darby. Darby's. Darby's them up a little bit. And then Garcia catches him in the ring apron. I always love this.
[00:58:47] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a fun. It's very, like, clever, like, it shows, like, not cheating, but it's like finding a unique way to get an advantage.
[00:58:55] Speaker A: It's clever. And it always looks like a thing that could happen by accident, but doesn't usually.
So it's like, okay, that just happened. Oh, no. What happened? I'm disoriented and you're just getting. He just pummel the crap out. He's in the re apren, which I massively appreciated. Then there's another disgusting spot where Garcia ties the tag rope in the corner to Darby's choker chain.
[00:59:24] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, Garcia is acting like a straight kill. Like, I talk about it last time, but he's great in Death Riders. It's exactly what he needs to be doing.
[00:59:33] Speaker A: And like, even that. That was a up. Even Bryce is like, what the is wrong with you? Yeah, Brussel decorate commentary gets into this big argument where, like, Excalibur is like, well, you know, they kind of want to let the. Let them fight a little bit because the stakes are so high. And Danielson's like, no, that they're rules. Force the damn rule if the stakes are high. Actually enforce the rules.
[00:59:56] Speaker C: I love that the. The Danielson of all person became the John Goodman. Like, this isn't nom rules. Shabani.
[01:00:11] Speaker A: Market 0.
[01:00:12] Speaker B: Bryce Market 0.
[01:00:14] Speaker C: Brace. Exactly.
[01:00:15] Speaker A: Am I the only one who cares about the goddamn rules?
But the whole. The whole rant gets ended with Excalibur going. That's.
That's rich. Wow. Concerned about the rules for Mr. I have till five again. Again, it's the rules. Yes, you have till five.
[01:00:43] Speaker B: He wasn't breaking them. He was.
[01:00:44] Speaker A: He was doing it right.
[01:00:45] Speaker B: Operating with.
[01:00:48] Speaker A: He never. Well, he rarely broke the rules a.
[01:00:53] Speaker B: Lot depending on the. Yeah, that's fair.
That's a good assessment.
[01:01:02] Speaker C: He's a goat.
[01:01:03] Speaker A: I like it's. It's a lot of. A lot of ground game in this match, honestly.
[01:01:09] Speaker B: Good transitions and stuff.
[01:01:11] Speaker A: They. They get the Nice transition. Nice transition shirt coming soon.
[01:01:19] Speaker C: It's gotta be.
[01:01:22] Speaker A: Garcia gets us a sweet surfboard. But then Darby manages to escape and gets it into a choke. Darby escapes more like Garcia is basically just trying to choke the out and he keeps getting away until he.
Garcia gets him in the corner. Does like the hanging sleeper.
[01:01:41] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:01:42] Speaker A: And that always looks disgusting.
Yeah, it's. It's less impressive when it's Daniel Garcia doing it compared to giant ass birdie King.
[01:01:50] Speaker B: But yeah, swinging him around and it.
[01:01:53] Speaker A: Still looks pretty ugly. Garcia gets a big suplex, tries to hang on for another, but it gets countered into a scorpion death drop.
[01:02:00] Speaker C: That was pretty. I got to admit, though, I'll give him that.
[01:02:03] Speaker A: I'll give him that. Darby tries to go for a coffin drop, but gets dumped off the ropes and does his Gary's mod bump again.
Just flopping everywhere with rag doll physics.
He gets his head compressed between the ring steps and the ring pos.
[01:02:18] Speaker B: He gets at the back of his head gets busted open. I think at this point, like, well, when they did the move, it looked like it was hit really safely. Like it was actually kicked kind of away from him. But after this, the back of his head is.
[01:02:31] Speaker A: Oh no, he was definitely blading, I think.
[01:02:33] Speaker C: No, there was like two spots before and during that spot where I'm pretty sure he was blading.
[01:02:40] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:02:41] Speaker C: Like, I think he tried to earlier and then he went for it again.
[01:02:45] Speaker A: Well, yeah, see, so this kind of leads into the finish, which was kind of weird. So Garcia looks like he's going to get a count out win on Darby at this point.
And then like he very inexplicably goes and breaks the count.
And I think that was the point where they were just like, oh, he's not bleed. He hasn't popped that test. He's not bleeding enough yet.
So yeah, so then like they break, they break it up and then he, he hits something else on the outside.
And then Pac appears, kills Darby.
[01:03:18] Speaker B: This was a good spot. Like, Garcia just distracts the ref for a second. Pac is all dressed in black and just comes out and kills Darby with a clothesline. It was a very, it was like a stealth assault, like. Yep.
[01:03:30] Speaker A: So he murders, he murders Darby. The count out is applied again. He just, just barely makes the. Makes it back inside the ring before the ten count. Garcia is going to do the scorpion death lock of his own. Gason calls it a sharpshooter.
[01:03:48] Speaker B: And isn't it, doesn't he call it the dragon Tamer?
So many names go on hold.
[01:03:54] Speaker A: Darby counters it.
He escapes. He reverses it into his own scorpion death lock. And Garcia is forced to tap. And that is the finish I do like too.
[01:04:03] Speaker B: When Garcia first goes for the dragon tamer, he does the sting.
I was like, that was a good little time.
[01:04:08] Speaker C: Yeah, he does the woo.
[01:04:10] Speaker A: He does the woo. He did the woo.
Woo. Woohoo.
Pac immediately jumps in, starts murdering Darby. He draws out Orange Cassidy, who is murdered by Willard. Claudio has arrived to commit more murder.
Joshley is. Has appeared from the side hatch, and Kyle O'Reilly is also somehow there.
Everybody's like, where the Mark Briscoe.
[01:04:38] Speaker B: It's a Smile.
[01:04:39] Speaker A: Yeah, it looks like they're gonna break Kyle's arm.
But then, like the superhero that he is, Roderick Strong, like, leaps over everybody to knee Moxley in the face. Like a big superhero spot to save his husband.
[01:04:55] Speaker B: Roderick scatters them. It was, like, pretty amazing. Yeah.
[01:04:59] Speaker C: Like, Rod Roderick was like, this was one of the first times where I.
[01:05:03] Speaker B: Was like, oh, oh, I'm all for. He's making Roger Strong be a legitimate person. Like, he is so good.
[01:05:11] Speaker A: He really is like.
[01:05:12] Speaker C: Like, oh, this man's like a threat.
[01:05:14] Speaker B: Funny and stuff too. And I like him doing his business. Like, he should be treated as a legitimate threat because he is, like, one of the best wrestlers that's ever played.
[01:05:22] Speaker A: I know that a lot of fans consider him that. Yeah, like, he's. He's. He's. He's just that good. Like. And it's really funny to imagine that there was a period when people were just like, oh, he's bland and boring.
[01:05:33] Speaker B: It's amazing to think that there was a period where he was in NXT with the Creed brothers being managed by Stokely Hathaway.
Like, and Kyle O'Reilly was with Rich.
[01:05:43] Speaker A: I forgot that. Yeah, they had the Fed.
[01:05:45] Speaker B: The Fed, the Post, Adam Cole, nxt, where, like, those guys were still there and they didn't have any clue what to do with them because it wasn't the undisputed error anymore. Was so weird.
[01:05:56] Speaker A: So they redid Catch Point without, like, anybody from Catch Point.
[01:05:59] Speaker B: Basically, it's so clean.
[01:06:02] Speaker A: So my notes inform me that this is the point where I went to bed and it would finish later.
[01:06:07] Speaker B: So we're gonna keep the podcast going for eight hours while Erica sleep.
[01:06:12] Speaker A: We're gonna talk about how.
[01:06:13] Speaker B: Well, you're not allowed to fast forward.
[01:06:18] Speaker A: Yeah. All right, so everybody just sit quietly for. And we're back.
[01:06:21] Speaker C: You can have a little fast forward as a treat.
[01:06:26] Speaker A: Sorry.
So now. Now is the time of the show where we're going to hear from ftr.
They are the number one contenders. They. They would. They. They have a bone to pick with Berdio because they should be three time champions after. What was it?
[01:06:42] Speaker B: Forbidden Doors.
[01:06:42] Speaker A: Where they won.
[01:06:43] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:06:45] Speaker A: No, no, no, no. Where they won the titles.
[01:06:47] Speaker C: Yeah, that's Forbidden Door in London.
[01:06:50] Speaker A: Titles at Forbidden.
[01:06:51] Speaker C: Yep, Yep.
[01:06:53] Speaker A: Huh?
[01:06:54] Speaker C: That's what happened.
[01:06:55] Speaker A: What is time?
[01:06:56] Speaker B: It was the four way match. Yeah.
[01:06:58] Speaker C: Flat circle and a lie.
[01:07:02] Speaker A: Either way, they would be three time champions if not for Berdido. And they call the champs out and their music hits. But where are they?
Well, fortunately, Renee Piquette is on the Case. And she goes, it's very cool that they get their own locker room. And Stokely is just, like, standing on the door.
[01:07:21] Speaker B: So funny.
[01:07:21] Speaker A: He's like, oh, no. Oh, man. Darn it to heck.
They're trapped and they can't be coming in.
[01:07:31] Speaker B: He tells Renee that he's watching the Wire on hbo. Max, good shots.
What else are you gonna be doing while you kidnap too, man? Watch.
Yeah, still.
[01:07:48] Speaker A: So FTR takes this opportunity, like, well, let's go talk to Bandito's grandmother.
He was sitting ringside this time with gravity.
[01:07:57] Speaker B: Yeah, Gravity's back.
[01:07:58] Speaker A: And Dex speaks some broken Spanish to her and basically is like, you're old. And like, well, yeah, she is. She is a grandmother. Good job.
[01:08:10] Speaker C: Keeps cutting her off.
[01:08:11] Speaker A: Yeah, it's like a really fun bit because he keeps being like, oh, how do you feel about this? And she starts telling. It's like, well, that's just wonderful, man.
[01:08:19] Speaker B: It's so funny, too, because you can tell, like, they worked on it with her, and she's almost. She's just so smiling through this entire time. Like, she's so happy to be on tv. It's like everyone's still rolling with us.
[01:08:29] Speaker A: She's having so much fun in this whole thing.
[01:08:33] Speaker C: If there's one thing that I have noticed in. In watching a lot of, like, luchador and not lucha promotion, like, stuff is like, anytime the family comes in, they're just, like, so jazzed to be in on the.
It seems like it's like every time, they're just like, oh, yeah, let's. Let's do theater. Like, every time. Look at Dom. Look at dom mysterios. Like, 11 year old. It's like, hey, what if your dad's trying to pretend to be your dad? Like, okay.
[01:09:06] Speaker B: So gravity was happy to be taking bumps on television again, too.
[01:09:10] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[01:09:11] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:09:11] Speaker C: I was gonna say it's always good to see gravity.
[01:09:14] Speaker A: So eventually they get too rude. Grandma Bandito slaps, slaps Dax D Says.
[01:09:19] Speaker B: They'Re going to adopt her and ask her for a kiss. And she gives him the cutest little slap on the face. Yes.
[01:09:25] Speaker A: He sells it like he got shot.
[01:09:27] Speaker C: Good stuff.
[01:09:28] Speaker A: Gravity jumps the barricade but is immediately murdered.
[01:09:31] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:09:33] Speaker A: We cut to the back, and Stokely is still enjoying the wine.
[01:09:38] Speaker B: It's a good show.
[01:09:39] Speaker A: Cackling. It is a good show.
This is when Birdie King does a Jason Voorhees and just punches through the door.
[01:09:48] Speaker B: Done perfectly. This is so good.
[01:09:50] Speaker A: Here's Brody chokes Stokely.
[01:09:55] Speaker C: He freaks the out.
[01:09:58] Speaker A: This was so. I Think I saw clips of this on. I'd seen clips of this before. I watched it.
[01:10:04] Speaker B: Yeah. I reposted it like, 10 times.
I kept coming across like, no, it's just so.
[01:10:08] Speaker A: It's hysterical.
[01:10:10] Speaker C: I reposted the edit where Stokely is marked as, like, capitalists and. And Brody's arm is the zoron for the Zoran, like, logo. It's amazing.
[01:10:25] Speaker A: Political commentary and wrestling.
Brody makes the save. They're able to escape. They chase Stokely out. They make the save, and they save Bandita's grandmother. They pose with gravity. This segment ruled.
[01:10:40] Speaker B: Goes and, like, goes and, like, grabs his grandma's hands and, like, checks out. Is just so happy and, like, smiling.
[01:10:46] Speaker A: I'm like, it's so sweet and cute. Is like, I miss my grandma.
[01:10:49] Speaker B: It's incredibly wholesome stuff in, like, the best possible way. It's not coming off cheesy or anything. Just like, oh, I just really like these people and want them to win.
[01:10:58] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:10:59] Speaker C: And Brody King is a literal monster.
[01:11:02] Speaker B: That's. Yes. There's a funny juxtaposition going on the entire time. But he's this one, a sweet dude, too.
[01:11:08] Speaker C: He's a big old teddy bear.
[01:11:11] Speaker A: That's why it works so well.
[01:11:12] Speaker B: Yeah. Everybody who knows, like, anything behind the scenes has just had great to say. He seems like just a very wonderful man.
[01:11:19] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:11:20] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:11:21] Speaker A: They do an ad for AW's book and that is a transition to talk about Blood and Guts. And they do a promo with Dean Malenko, Blood and Guts Murphy doing the voiceover for Blood and Guts and that.
[01:11:33] Speaker B: Like, I love you, Dean Malinko.
You were one of the best parts of wrestling in the 90s, and I'm glad you're still working.
[01:11:40] Speaker C: Okay.
Hey, Monday night fake fights. Checking in here. Yes.
[01:11:46] Speaker B: We agree.
[01:11:48] Speaker C: We vote yes on Dean Malenko with the pull out.
[01:11:55] Speaker A: Shout out Hampter for one of the greatest lines.
[01:11:58] Speaker C: Yes. Shout out to Hampter for one of the greatest lines ever on the podcast.
Oh, my God.
[01:12:05] Speaker A: So our next match, Blood and Guts advantage match. Mina Shirakawa versus McDonne. This is obviously for the women's penalty for it is hurt and is. But is still there with Megan Bain.
[01:12:15] Speaker B: And still in wrestling gear too.
You're doing somebody's hurt there. Like, wear street clothes out. Oh, yeah, it was fantastic. She looks amazing. But it was just the.
[01:12:23] Speaker A: I'm glad. I'm glad they're keeping her on TV at least. Like, don't, please don't.
[01:12:27] Speaker B: She was doing so good before the injury. Like, that was such a bummer. I think.
[01:12:32] Speaker C: I think that she. She got injured before too, right?
[01:12:36] Speaker B: Yeah, she had just got. She hadn't been back long, like, less than a year from when she was.
[01:12:41] Speaker C: So, like, I. I think that she saw what kept happening to her probably where, like, I feel like she's. Because she's like, an aw original. She's been around for a long. She's one of those, like, ones who been there for, like, ever, just never gets any.
Never get anything to, like, stick because of, like, injuries. And so it's like, okay, I'm injured, but I'm not gonna.
[01:13:02] Speaker B: She's had bad luck with it, and she's always good.
It just sucks.
[01:13:06] Speaker C: But now she's doing the thing where she's like, well, I'm just gonna not get off tv. Like, I mean, like, I could be injured, but if I stay on tv, I'm coming in.
[01:13:15] Speaker B: I'm putting the gear on. You're putting me on camera?
[01:13:18] Speaker C: Yeah.
You're putting me on camera. I don't care if I wrestle. They're not gonna forget about me while I heal, you know?
[01:13:26] Speaker B: This single, it cost 500. I'm wearing.
[01:13:28] Speaker C: It look amazing. It is happening.
[01:13:31] Speaker A: We should point out that the. The reason Mina is in this match is because Queen Aminata was injured during last week's match. So she is out.
[01:13:42] Speaker B: Yeah, she's awesome.
[01:13:43] Speaker A: But we also get Toni Storm on commentary.
[01:13:46] Speaker B: This is always a treat. Oh, my God. Anytime it happens, I'm so happy.
[01:13:50] Speaker C: We haven't seen her.
[01:13:51] Speaker A: She was a treat, but she was. She was frankly ornery.
[01:13:54] Speaker B: Yeah, but that's her arc. That's character. Yeah, she's broken down.
[01:13:57] Speaker C: She'.
[01:13:58] Speaker B: She's lost everything and she's.
[01:14:00] Speaker C: You can tell, rocking the. The mommy dearest makeup all up.
[01:14:06] Speaker B: Yeah, she's breaking down again.
[01:14:09] Speaker C: She's having a going through an arc again. Anytime she. She loses her gold, she. She is going through it. It feels like. And I kind of.
[01:14:18] Speaker B: The first time she became Tone, she turned into Tony's timeless Tony Storm from it. Now she's going to become, like, even.
[01:14:24] Speaker C: Timeless and she's, like, ornery, but. No, she is. She's, like, being very, like.
[01:14:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:14:31] Speaker C: Argumentative with the boys and, like, very snippy with.
[01:14:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
Most of my notes on this match are basically just Toni Storm's commentary.
So I will read.
[01:14:43] Speaker C: Yeah, I will.
[01:14:44] Speaker A: I will read out some of my favorite lines right now. Excalibur. Why don't you come and do commentary on one of my orgies sometimes?
[01:14:52] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:14:53] Speaker A: Brian, what is that smell? I didn't know they made hemp cologne.
[01:14:57] Speaker C: Yeah, hemp cologne. I was gonna say she.
[01:14:59] Speaker B: I did want to say too when with the orgy line. Danielson then goes, her what? And Tony Schiavone goes, did she say Excalibur? Says, I'll have to check with my wife on that one.
[01:15:12] Speaker C: Jesus Christ.
[01:15:14] Speaker B: It was just a gray little string off of that.
[01:15:17] Speaker C: I love the implication that.
The implication that Bryan Danielson's like highest high as.
[01:15:25] Speaker A: I mean I thought. I see that whenever he's on right now.
[01:15:28] Speaker C: I. I just give him. He's in so much pain. Probably give him a bunch of gummies and send him out there to just slap him on his butt.
[01:15:37] Speaker A: Let's see. She also calls him a walking Whole Foods.
Says if Megan Bain is the megasis, then I'm the vaginosaur and I'll eat her alive.
Talk about blood and guts. That's how my sheets look after a long week.
I was like, oh no.
[01:16:03] Speaker B: I want.
[01:16:03] Speaker C: A vagina sword for Christmas.
Ah, someone.
[01:16:09] Speaker A: Yeah.
Oh yeah. There is, there is more Wendy Richter slander in all of this as well. At some point.
[01:16:15] Speaker C: Well, yeah.
[01:16:16] Speaker B: She calls Megan Bain that. That big. Like a bunch of times the.
[01:16:20] Speaker C: The inflection that she's a big.
[01:16:28] Speaker B: One of my favorite like commentary bits too happened during commercial where Tony says something about getting Danielson kombucha and Danielson says as long as it's not from Amazon. And like Tony Schiavone really quickly has to be like, oh geez, that's because Amazon puts out their pay per views.
He's right. They're a horrible company.
[01:16:54] Speaker C: Tony said cons in the back just like you woke son of a Giovanni.
[01:17:00] Speaker A: Just like there was a point where it went silent and you could just hear somebody saying something over the. The thing.
[01:17:07] Speaker C: The evil that gives us his evil money.
[01:17:12] Speaker B: It's not. It's Brian Danielson though. He's gonna do it.
[01:17:17] Speaker A: I. I wish that I had a little say about this match, but like there. There were some cool.
[01:17:22] Speaker B: It was just a good match.
[01:17:23] Speaker A: Yeah, it was a good. It was a good match. The main story of it was it was very similar to Claudio versus Orange.
[01:17:31] Speaker B: In that we also missed when they first came out. Tony said that announced that her and Mina Sheer cower are wives.
[01:17:37] Speaker A: Yes, that's right. They're gay. They're gay married. Just like Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong.
[01:17:43] Speaker B: Yeah. But the first time it was. Yeah. Directly said good for them. Yeah.
[01:17:47] Speaker A: Let's see. They. They. Yeah.
So like, like with Claudio and Orange Cassidy, it's like Size versus speed. But Mina is doing more strikes than Lucha stuff.
Yeah, she has some good kicks and just notable spots.
Mina's diving sling blade from top rope.
[01:18:07] Speaker C: That shit's disgusting every time she does it.
[01:18:11] Speaker A: That was really nice.
[01:18:13] Speaker B: One more commentary exchange too was one point. Mina's getting beaten down. And Tony Storm goes, I can't look on Mr. Schiavone. And Tony Schiavone goes, you must.
[01:18:25] Speaker C: She calls him Siobhan mister.
[01:18:29] Speaker B: Yeah, I can't look on Siobone. You must was my last one.
[01:18:36] Speaker A: So really they go back and forth for a good bit.
And right when Mina has the advantage and she's going to look, get, try and go for the glamorous driver, Marina Shafir arrives to choke Tony storm out. Which wound up having like hilarious sound effects because Tony didn't take the headset off.
[01:18:58] Speaker B: She's like, ah, help me, mister.
Help me. Mr. Chabot do anything.
Puts his arms out like, like, what.
[01:19:09] Speaker A: Do you want me to do?
Using the distraction, Megan Bane is able to take advantage and hits the running liger bomb. And that is all she wrote.
[01:19:21] Speaker C: That shit's terrifying.
[01:19:22] Speaker B: It was a good match, though.
[01:19:24] Speaker A: That's a great match. I wouldn't say great. It was a good match. It was.
[01:19:28] Speaker B: It was a solid like 3.5. I'm glad. Marine or not, Marina Mina got like held her own. It wasn't like a full squash. Like, she really. She still looked good against Megan, but obviously the powerhouse.
[01:19:42] Speaker A: I also feel like that after two weeks in a row of women in the tag tournament getting injured and women in the blood and guts match, being injured before the blood and gets matched, they're just like, all right, everybody be careful.
No injuries.
[01:19:57] Speaker B: We just gotta get through one more week.
[01:20:00] Speaker A: No injuries and no injury.
So just like the. After that last men's match, we got a big schmaz.
Triangle of madness hit the ring to attack the faces. It brings out the Babe Babes of wrath. And Jamie Hayter to even the odds. Mercedes comes down and she's like looks at the ring for a second.
[01:20:21] Speaker B: Funny actually. Like anybody in there. Why am I coming out? There's nobody I want to help in this situation.
[01:20:30] Speaker A: No. I guess. But Chris Statlander comes in. Levels are from behind the face is clean house. And they pose in the ring. Very cool.
[01:20:38] Speaker B: Yeah, it was the last shot of them all standing together was dope. They all looked really cool together.
[01:20:44] Speaker C: I am just. My body is so ready for this Women's blood and guts.
[01:20:51] Speaker B: I think it's gonna be a dope show.
[01:20:52] Speaker A: They'll They'll. They're going to do the other two advantage matches on Collision, I believe.
[01:20:59] Speaker B: Yeah. Yep. That's the plan. If needed. Maybe they'll.
[01:21:03] Speaker A: If needed. If needed. Who knows.
[01:21:06] Speaker B: Yeah, there's. Because they're. Yeah. I mean Roddy and Mox is. Is definitely happening because it's 1:1 for the men. But theoretically they could have two of the heels win in a row, but they won't.
[01:21:18] Speaker C: Where's the fun in that?
[01:21:19] Speaker B: We gotta have Harley Cameron versus Tecla.
[01:21:22] Speaker A: Hell yeah. We got it. Yes, we do.
[01:21:24] Speaker B: Yeah. I didn't mean. Yeah.
Yeah.
[01:21:26] Speaker C: You give me that.
[01:21:27] Speaker B: I genuinely will be one. I'm excited to watch Closer for that.
[01:21:30] Speaker A: So now we come to the main event of the match. The match. The main event in the match. Christ. Tired. The main event of the evening. The AW World Trios Championship. The Ops. Samoa Joe. Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuya Shibata defending against Hangman. Adam Page. Eddie Kingston and Hook is also there.
[01:21:48] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:21:49] Speaker A: Not for very long though, apparently.
[01:21:51] Speaker B: No is up.
[01:21:53] Speaker A: They do kind of the same thing. Be like the last time Joe was in a title match as a heel where like they teased him facing off against the main person of the other side, this time against Paige and like he immediately tagged himself out to Shabata.
[01:22:06] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:22:07] Speaker A: Which is fine because this whole sequence with Shabata and Hangman was cool.
[01:22:13] Speaker C: Beat the out of each other. It was amazing.
[01:22:15] Speaker B: Yeah.
I like, Shabata has just like been let loose to be as big a as he possibly can be and it's working so well.
[01:22:24] Speaker A: Just act like you do at the. At the La Dojo.
[01:22:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:22:28] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:22:29] Speaker B: Yeah. Picture all of them as Gabe kid.
[01:22:32] Speaker A: Like time to abuse teenagers.
Yeah.
[01:22:36] Speaker C: I was gonna say it's a group.
[01:22:38] Speaker B: Of Clark Connors in front of you.
[01:22:40] Speaker C: So you want me to hit the.
[01:22:42] Speaker B: Child.
[01:22:47] Speaker A: Man when he retires, the stories that come out about him are going to be like, holy, you're a monster.
I just have a feeling.
[01:22:58] Speaker B: Try not to. I try not to think about what happens in the dojos.
There's not enough bad stuff.
[01:23:04] Speaker A: I think that's a lot of people do. All right, so Hook. Hangman gets the advantage. Nice. Lariat out of the corner on Shabata tags in. Hook brings in Powerhouse House. We got another.
[01:23:15] Speaker B: We did get. We got some Hook Chance too. The crowd did chant Hook. I was there's behind him a bit.
[01:23:20] Speaker A: Crowd was into Hook. We get the team tag showdown.
[01:23:23] Speaker B: I made the Hook.
[01:23:26] Speaker A: And Hook does get like a really nice suplex as it goes into commercial. But like he's immediately clutching at his back.
[01:23:33] Speaker B: Yeah, you got like one good spot and it like.
[01:23:37] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:23:38] Speaker B: Azuku Midoriya throwing a punch.
[01:23:40] Speaker A: Like, Eddie tagged himself back in. And we get Eddie Kingston and Samoa, which was also very cool.
[01:23:48] Speaker B: Yeah, that's dope. Good matchup. Eddie looked very good. Here he is coming. He's getting back in the swing of things.
[01:23:54] Speaker A: Very well.
They, I, they. They gotta find something cool for him to do. And if Hook might actually be legitimately hurt. I can't tell if it's like, if it was him selling or what. I haven't seen any.
[01:24:07] Speaker C: Because he got back in the match later.
[01:24:09] Speaker B: Yeah, I thought I actually wrote the same thing. I was like, I genuinely can't tell if he. Because Doc Sampson comes out and he's out for like 10 minutes. But, like, they wouldn't have sent him back in to do spots if he was actually genuinely injured.
[01:24:23] Speaker A: So through the, through the commercial break, we basically get our Shibata vs Kingston segment of it, which is very cool as they chop the. Out of each other.
That Shibata wins because you really can't out chop Shibata.
[01:24:37] Speaker C: You can't. Can't be done.
[01:24:39] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. So he just. Yeah, he hits the. Out of him. Like, they remind me.
Yeah. Eddie was in the G1, like, and he was just getting to shop the hell out of people. It was so good.
[01:24:50] Speaker A: Yep. I was going to say Shabbata.
The most shocking Shibata thing I've seen him do is he hit shattered dreams on Eddie Kingston.
[01:24:59] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Which I think quite the reaction too. People, like, went nuts.
[01:25:04] Speaker A: Yeah, I, I think that we should just officially let Shabata have that.
Yeah.
[01:25:10] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:25:11] Speaker C: Shibata don't turn into a libertarian or whatever.
[01:25:14] Speaker A: Anyway, I have a note in here that we should put Shibata in house of torture just to make everybody pissed.
[01:25:21] Speaker B: I would hate that.
[01:25:22] Speaker A: Eddie gets a hot tag and Hangman runs wild. Stan Moonsault, he's got. He's trying to do the Orihara on the outside to.
What's his name? Hobbs. But Hobbs is like, I will simply go into the ring and Hangman pages you. My back is still to you. I can just hit you in the ring.
[01:25:42] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:25:42] Speaker A: And he does.
[01:25:43] Speaker B: So Hangman and Hobbs is great together. They are a fantastic little back and forth throughout this.
[01:25:50] Speaker A: Like, there wasn't a bad exchange from anybody in this. Like, it was a very good match.
[01:25:55] Speaker B: Yeah. It all worked very well.
[01:25:58] Speaker A: Hobbs tries to get back involved, but. Or not. Hobbs. Hook. Hook tries to get back involved, but his back injury is Too much and he's immediately killed again.
[01:26:08] Speaker B: Doctor said I need a bacchiomy.
[01:26:12] Speaker A: Spinectomy.
[01:26:14] Speaker B: Yeah. That's an obscure half reference.
[01:26:16] Speaker C: No.
Oh, I know.
[01:26:18] Speaker A: God, I haven't watched that in ages.
[01:26:22] Speaker C: Very young me before I ever touched the devil's lettuce. Thought that movie was a. Thought that movie was a delight.
[01:26:30] Speaker B: Yeah. No, I watch that million movie times.
[01:26:32] Speaker A: Yeah. The devil's lettuce.
[01:26:35] Speaker C: I, too, want a giant candy bar. I. I don't need drugs to want Abba.
[01:26:40] Speaker B: You're my only friend.
[01:26:41] Speaker C: Abba Zaba is my only friend besides you folks.
[01:26:47] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:26:48] Speaker C: Oh, and you know all my friends except for all the friends.
[01:26:56] Speaker A: God damn it. They almost hit a buckshot Utican combo between Hangman Eddie Kingston. That would have been disgusting if they got that.
[01:27:04] Speaker C: No, they. They said they started to set that up and I just wanted to die. That it didn't happen. I was like, oh, my God.
God, I need that so bad in my life.
[01:27:18] Speaker A: Hobbs takes Hangman Page up the ramp. They fight it out, and then eventually, he gets the world's strongest slam off the stage through a table to Adam Page. He's now dead. The hops. The hops.
[01:27:34] Speaker B: But like, right before that, the hops yells, cowboy, my ass.
[01:27:38] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:27:39] Speaker A: Hobbs yells, cowboy, my ass. The ops now.
[01:27:42] Speaker B: I'm trying. Will Hobbs is a giant rabbit.
Will Hops is a big bunny ears and fluffy tap. Yeah, that's a Zootopia Persona.
[01:27:51] Speaker A: God. Will Hops.
[01:27:53] Speaker C: I'm already making a different shirt.
[01:27:56] Speaker B: Big black and jackrabbit. Come on.
Power hops. Will Hops.
[01:28:04] Speaker A: Power hops. Will hop. Powerhouse. We're joking.
[01:28:07] Speaker B: But this is such. It's such a good spot. He kills him through that table.
[01:28:11] Speaker A: He really did. But, like, it's not better than this podcasting gold of Will Hopps.
[01:28:19] Speaker B: I hope he's in Persona for every wrestler. Eventually.
[01:28:23] Speaker A: I'm. They already do, I think, have Personas. All right. Anyway. All right, so they're swarming Kingston, but he manages to fight back with an exploder hook. Blind tags himself in somehow, and he tries. He doesn't try a suplex, but he does try red rum, which is smart if your back is hurt.
Try and choke somebody instead of trying to throw them. But Hobbs just is like, that's cute. And puts him in a goddamn torture rack. Shout out, lex Luger. Narcissus. Narcissus.
[01:28:53] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:28:54] Speaker A: And that's it. You don't get out of the torture rack. You are dead. The end.
[01:28:58] Speaker B: Especially with your back already up.
[01:28:59] Speaker A: Huh? Show goes off the air with the ops celebrating and they announced that Hangman Page versus powerhouse Hobbs in a falls count anywhere match is next week. I don't know when they're gonna find time for that with two more games matches.
[01:29:13] Speaker B: Two and a half hours. They've said for sure it's gonna be two and a half hours. So I mean that's. Each War games match takes what, 45 minutes, an hour.
[01:29:23] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:29:24] Speaker B: Especially with the six person lines. As long as they just don't do any promos or segments, they can fit it all in.
[01:29:30] Speaker A: All right, well good luck with that.
I'll be on a plane.
[01:29:35] Speaker B: I'll be watching every time. I. It's. I'm excited though. I love, I love War games matches. I love Blood and Guts. Like it's one of my favorite stipulations.
Everybody's gonna, especially the women are probably gonna want to show out and do just bonkers to like really make this memorable.
[01:29:52] Speaker A: I will probably find time to watch. Well, I definitely will find time to watch Blood and Guts. But like yeah, that's. Yeah, it's always a good episode of Dynamite when it happens.
I, you know for a fact that the women are going to try and just do.
[01:30:08] Speaker B: Sky Blue is going to set somebody on fire. You're going to get excommunicated from aew.
She. We have Sky Blue in this match. She is gonna do some.
[01:30:17] Speaker A: She's gonna. Yeah. Sky Blue always wants to do the most insane thing. Imag is like, can I bring gun? No.
[01:30:23] Speaker B: Second. There's a no. Like she's. She's good in regular matches. But then the second it's like a no rule stip, she suddenly becomes Jason Voorhees.
The craziest you can imagine.
[01:30:34] Speaker A: Right? She's like, can I blade in this?
No.
[01:30:38] Speaker B: Okay. Can I put a staple in your vagina? Yes.
[01:30:41] Speaker C: Yes. Okay. Maybe this one time.
[01:30:46] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be good. The men's doesn't interest me as much.
[01:30:52] Speaker B: I think it'll still be fun.
[01:30:53] Speaker A: It'll. Yeah, it'll be fine. But like it does not interest me nearly as much as what the women are going to do. And like the women like the. I thought about it a bit about like do the teams that they've put together for the women's match makes sense. And it's like yeah, they do because it's all the faces, all the top faces and all the top heels. It's like it's not just we're doing a War games match because of these fears. It's like, we're doing a war games match because of all these different feuds that are going on and all these storylines that are going on in the women's division. And, like, this is a celebration of how far the women's division has come, like, right before they crown champions.
[01:31:33] Speaker C: This is. Yeah. And it's what war games.
[01:31:36] Speaker B: That's a great way to put it. Yeah.
[01:31:37] Speaker C: It's what war games should be, is, like, all this.
[01:31:40] Speaker B: It's.
[01:31:41] Speaker C: This is too much to be contained.
[01:31:43] Speaker B: There'll be callbacks. There'll be.
Yeah, yeah. Like, Tony versus Mercedes will probably face off again. And, like, there's lots of this to be just some fun.
[01:31:52] Speaker C: It's the ultimate blow off. War game should always be the ultimate blow off.
[01:31:56] Speaker B: And, like, I am Queen Aminata's not.
[01:31:59] Speaker A: Gonna be in it, but, yeah, she definitely deserved it. Mina's not a bad replacement at all.
[01:32:04] Speaker B: No, she'll be. She'll be good. Yeah.
Her and Tony being in it together will probably be a blast. They'll probably do some crazy horny, like, I'm just a man, I guess. Yeah.
[01:32:18] Speaker A: Can I set your vagina on fire?
Sky blue's like, yes.
[01:32:26] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:32:29] Speaker A: WD40, you bring the tour. The lighter.
[01:32:31] Speaker B: The WWE.
[01:32:32] Speaker A: For the WWE.
God damn it.
That might be it.
Any final thoughts on the episode?
[01:32:43] Speaker B: No. Yeah, I think we're saying the same thing. Nothing really didn't deliver. It was just quality throughout.
[01:32:48] Speaker C: I thought it was very, very good.
I thought the wrestling was very, very, very good. Everything else was also solid. I mean, that Brodido, where that was a great segment. Murder. Yeah, Stokely, like, it was a. I'm gonna go ahead and say it was a great Dynamite.
[01:33:06] Speaker B: Anytime a wrestling show has a segment that I'm like, that is just genuinely good. Like, TV comedy makes me laugh. Like a real TV show, Like, that's delivering. Right.
[01:33:16] Speaker C: I could just go, that's just good television right there.
[01:33:23] Speaker A: Being killed.
[01:33:24] Speaker C: Yeah, exactly.
[01:33:26] Speaker A: I mean, like, I think at the end of the day, like, I agree. And, like, the thing that has. I've really enjoyed about the recent run of Dynamites is they're just very easy to watch and they're fun to watch. Like.
[01:33:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:33:40] Speaker A: Especially right now, it blows by.
[01:33:42] Speaker B: Like, it never feels like a slog at all.
[01:33:44] Speaker A: Yeah. Like, especially with the schedule I've been working where, like, there was a period where I was like, all right, I'm home from work. I gotta fit in. Dynamite.
[01:33:52] Speaker B: Watch a Dynamite. Yeah.
[01:33:53] Speaker A: Yeah. Now it's like, okay, I'm homework.
I can't wait to watch Dynamite. Yeah, like, it's not.
[01:34:00] Speaker B: I'm excited to see what happens.
[01:34:01] Speaker A: It's not.
Not that those other shows were bad, but it's just like, all right, this is like.
But these are just like bang, bang, bang, bang. Very, very well paced shows. Good matches all throughout, fun segments.
It's. They're. They're doing really well right now, I think.
[01:34:20] Speaker B: Good job. Tony Khan.
You have our approval for now.
[01:34:26] Speaker A: Now give us.
[01:34:27] Speaker B: You little man.
[01:34:29] Speaker A: Yeah. Give us money, please.
[01:34:31] Speaker B: Also put. Yeah. As we insult you read to show.
[01:34:33] Speaker A: You your and money.

[01:34:41] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, he does. Hey, he's a fan. We know he is. So you know he do the right thing. Give us money. Yeah, he's a sicko.
[01:34:49] Speaker A: Give us money.
[01:34:50] Speaker B: Give us money.
[01:34:51] Speaker A: Patreon, actually. Yeah. Do you want to plug the Patreon?
[01:34:53] Speaker B: Yeah, you can actually give us one.
[01:34:55] Speaker C: Patreon.Com nffpod not a lot happens there, but when stuff happens there, it's great. And any money that you send to it helps us make all of this feasible.
[01:35:10] Speaker A: Feasible.
That's the right word for it, I guess. Yeah.
[01:35:13] Speaker C: Feasible. Yes.
[01:35:16] Speaker A: We can continue to produce content.
Content producers are we.
[01:35:22] Speaker C: Isn't that what all of this is about?
[01:35:24] Speaker A: All right. Any.
[01:35:25] Speaker C: Anyways, I think that's a good advice.
[01:35:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:35:31] Speaker A: And good night. I do.
[01:35:37] Speaker B: Wrestling to you and yours.
[01:35:39] Speaker C: And as always, nice transition.
[01:35:43] Speaker A: Thanks.
[01:35:58] Speaker C: Yeah. No. Randy Johnson apologists for life. That bird had it coming.
