Episode Transcript
[00:00:07] Speaker A: In the beginning, the earth was a dark, formless void.
But then God spoke and said, let there be wrestling.
And with that, there was Monday, and wrestling happened on Mondays. And God looked upon her works and said, holy shit, that's a lot of racism in video packages.
On the second day, God got depressed. And lo did she post about it on the DVD VR forums. And with that, there was Tuesday.
On the third day, God said, let there be Wednesday. And lo did the people reply unto her.
We know what that means.
[00:00:56] Speaker B: Welcome back to Wednesday Night Fake.
I made it. I made a joke, and now it's. It's gone now. And it didn't land anyways, and that's fine. I wanted to make a joke.
Oh, that's unfortunate. I said, what do you get when
[00:01:10] Speaker A: you put
[00:01:13] Speaker B: Ric Flair and a Bubba Ray Dudley together? A chopped Uncle Bully.
Get it?
Yeah, because we were talking about chopped unknown.
Welcome back to Wednesday Fake fights. I don't know how I'm gonna hyper. Good luck.
It's. I. It's Ella Taylor. It's. It was been a weird one, what with the. She's in the. Hers is the show where we watch Aw, Dynamite every week with my wrestler Queers. Favorite wrestle queer. Go say your name stuff. Go do it.
[00:01:58] Speaker A: Oh, which one of us is the favorite?
[00:02:00] Speaker C: It's you.
[00:02:01] Speaker B: Oh, no, it's. It's you. Because. Because the Hampter is on a different level.
It's whoever. Which one's here? That's not. Hampter is the favorite.
[00:02:15] Speaker A: This is the favorite. I see. Okay.
[00:02:17] Speaker C: Well, I've never been in this.
[00:02:20] Speaker A: I see how it is.
Yeah. I've never been anybody's favorite either.
Just glad you're here. This is just. This is getting esoteric now. I finish that thought,
[00:02:37] Speaker C: have a talk about this after that.
[00:02:39] Speaker A: Yeah, this is gonna be really interesting to talk to my therapist about.
[00:02:45] Speaker B: Yes. I had to do an existential break.
Yeah, let's go.
[00:02:52] Speaker C: He's just sad.
[00:02:54] Speaker B: Oh, no, it's just done.
But yeah, it's Erica the Length Warrens. Hi. How are you?
[00:02:59] Speaker A: That is me. Yes. I'm Erica the Length Warrens.
[00:03:01] Speaker B: My favorite wrestle queer. Because you're here.
And then after you. Not my favorite because beyond favorite apple of mine. Eye.
Yo soy. I have to say it all.
[00:03:20] Speaker C: I'm just gonna roll on out in my. Or my zorb. My z.
Usual entrance with the zorb. Step out in a puff of wildfire smoke.
[00:03:35] Speaker A: Oh, God.
[00:03:37] Speaker B: We just got below 400 AQI. Gosh,
[00:03:42] Speaker C: I just hit 500.
[00:03:47] Speaker A: It's like going up Here.
[00:03:48] Speaker B: Yeah, it's like a K up in Duluth right now. It's terrible.
[00:03:53] Speaker A: They started the baseball game early because, like. Yeah, it's gonna get worse by seven o'. Clock.
[00:03:57] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:03:58] Speaker B: Jesus.
[00:03:59] Speaker C: Standing in the midst of the wildfire smoke. All of a sudden, sprinkler pops out of the side of my head and starts screaming, and I.
[00:04:10] Speaker B: Not again. No.
[00:04:12] Speaker C: And then it just disappears and I. We stop screaming.
[00:04:19] Speaker A: All right, so that's some Salvador Dali.
[00:04:23] Speaker B: That's like. That's like Sam Raimi. End of. End of the multiverse of madness. Doctor Strange.
[00:04:32] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:04:33] Speaker C: Less frequent. It's gotten less frequent. This is an improvement. This is an improvement.
[00:04:38] Speaker B: All right.
[00:04:38] Speaker A: You, like, pop it like a zit.
[00:04:41] Speaker C: I tried and it doesn't. It doesn't work. I've tried, like. Like squishing it and like. No, it doesn't.
[00:04:47] Speaker A: Yeah, you gotta really, like, get into it.
[00:04:49] Speaker C: Yeah. Like, if I hold my tail and like, you like. Like a hose, and it. The. The screaming is muffled and then it goes away, but. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I can sleep at night. Kind of.
[00:05:01] Speaker A: Good.
[00:05:02] Speaker B: Well, we learned a lesson that if you're gonna do experimental magics and. And you're gonna get in. Into creator's region's cabinet, you have to come to me first.
Yes.
Yeah. Okay.
[00:05:18] Speaker C: That's the lesson that I've learned.
[00:05:19] Speaker B: I mean, I'm proud of you. I'm proud of you for taking the creative initiative. I am.
[00:05:25] Speaker A: They were going. They got what they were going for. They just can't make it stop.
[00:05:30] Speaker C: It was a success. It was a success.
[00:05:34] Speaker A: You know, your science is proven wrong by the power of magic and love and mixing chemicals randomly.
[00:05:43] Speaker B: It comes down to technique, and. And honestly, I think it's just the amount of mustard seed that you did use one or two too many eyes of newt and it throws the whole thing off.
[00:05:58] Speaker C: Not. There have been ramifications.
[00:06:01] Speaker A: A.
[00:06:02] Speaker B: Speaking of ramifications, where are we this week with grap ramifications from. From beach break Bash at the beach.
[00:06:12] Speaker A: Break is rapifications.
[00:06:14] Speaker C: What year is it?
[00:06:18] Speaker A: What year is it? Why, it's 1770. No, that's Philadelphia.
[00:06:23] Speaker B: Tony, Just start. Shivan just starts, like, tripping.
When we're back at.
[00:06:29] Speaker C: Back at the beach, he looks over and it's. And like, Excalibur has turned into Bobby Heenan.
[00:06:35] Speaker A: He's just like, what the Kenny Omega is Jeff Jarrett laying down for Kev night?
[00:06:45] Speaker C: Oh, my God. I would freak out.
[00:06:50] Speaker A: Kenny could probably pull off Jeff's hairdo from back then.
[00:06:54] Speaker B: From a distance. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:06:56] Speaker A: I mean, it's just. It's just like a short bleach blonde. Anyway, we're in ass. Boston. Sorry. Boston.
[00:07:05] Speaker B: Don't apologize. Like, yeah, Boston. For lots of reasons.
[00:07:11] Speaker A: They kind of know what they've done. Yeah.
[00:07:13] Speaker B: That being said, I. I kind of. I kind of love most fire the crowd this week, but overall, Boston.
[00:07:22] Speaker A: Yeah, I've been to Boston. I didn't have a good time. The baseball stadium is cool, though. Nice job on having a tall wall,
[00:07:31] Speaker C: GG.
[00:07:33] Speaker A: Good job, GGs.
[00:07:37] Speaker B: I don't know, I just. I just feel like I can't get. I can never quite feel like I can hand it to.
That made it possible for people to die in their sleep of asphyxiation from molasses.
So, like, that's just. That's like. I mean, that's really up. When Common.
[00:07:57] Speaker A: When did that happen?
[00:07:58] Speaker B: Once is enough. It doesn't matter when.
[00:08:00] Speaker A: Yeah, but like, what. No, when this matters. Because like, if it's. If it's like, you know, the 1920s, that's just like it was a time once. Terrible, terrible, you know.
[00:08:11] Speaker C: Oh, 1919.
[00:08:13] Speaker A: Yeah. So it's like that's.
[00:08:14] Speaker C: That's just killing 21 and injuring 150.
[00:08:18] Speaker A: That's just capitalism.
That's not Boston's fault. That's just capitalism.
[00:08:24] Speaker B: No, it's specifically Bostonian because. Because you know why? It's the baked beans.
[00:08:30] Speaker A: I don't think that's true.
[00:08:32] Speaker B: Yes, they needed the molasses.
I'm making that the up. I just wanted to see how long I could go until you're real. You stop.
[00:08:42] Speaker C: Okay, so on January 15th.
[00:08:45] Speaker B: Here we go.
[00:08:45] Speaker C: Temperatures had risen above 40 degrees Fahrenheit, 4 degrees Celsius, climbing rapidly of the preceding days and. Which caused.
Sorry, caused the molasses to explode and. Yeah, and it just.
Yeah, sorry, I got.
[00:09:06] Speaker B: No, it's. And it is absolutely capitalism's fault because the company who is storing the molasses ignored like a decade of people going, that shit's leaking, bro. And they're like, nah, it's fine.
It's making us so much money, what with the rum and. Yeah, they can go themselves all the hell. I forget what it was there like molasses. There was something that molasses was like used for that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Rum and ethanol that like they had like.
Yeah, I don't care.
Anyways, More importantly, now we've done that bit of history, let's go over some real history. Some real history.
[00:09:48] Speaker A: There's some sort of the important stuff and things that actually happened.
[00:09:53] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, exactly.
[00:09:55] Speaker A: Of the week up, we are traveling 30 minutes west of Boston to visit the Dover demon.
Have you ever heard of the Dover demon?
[00:10:06] Speaker C: I have not.
[00:10:07] Speaker A: No, I've not.
Oh, okay. So this. I have. I have visual. Visual cues.
[00:10:14] Speaker C: Oh, good. I'm so excited.
[00:10:17] Speaker A: You're gonna be like, that's stupid. And I know.
So this was in 1977. There's a kid teenager, Billy Bartlett, and his friends, they're walking through the woods, and, like, they see out of the corner of their eye, they see this thing and, you know, and they have him draw it. And this is what they draw.
[00:10:40] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[00:10:41] Speaker A: Right? That's what he draws. So it's like.
It's like a. It looks like a gray alien kind of. Right. Like, it's got, like, a long peanut head and it's got, like, a little weird body.
[00:10:52] Speaker B: West Bipedal. It looks like it can be bipedal, but this one looks a little more crawly than I've ever seen a gray. Because normally they're keeping their heads up.
[00:10:59] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, we'll. We'll get to it. Because, like. Yeah, it's got, like, kind of long limbs and long fingers, too. So, like.
[00:11:05] Speaker B: Yeah, this is more what I thought the frogman would look like.
[00:11:09] Speaker A: Frogman. Or wear pants. That's what the frogman would.
[00:11:12] Speaker B: So.
[00:11:12] Speaker A: No, that's.
[00:11:13] Speaker B: I'm telling you, it's just a dude. It's just a guy.
[00:11:17] Speaker A: First off, there. It would be guys.
Okay. There were more than one.
[00:11:23] Speaker B: There were. Okay, so you listen to my road.
These were gay men cruising. Anyway. All right, go. Go ahead.
[00:11:34] Speaker A: It's got glowing orange eyes, and it has, like, a distended stomach like a starving child. Isn't that fun?
So, like, they see this in the woods and they're like, that's weird. And then two hours later, there's another kid named John Baxter who sees the same thing, and he's. He runs after it into the woods, because he thinks to him, he's like, oh, that's like a physically disabled child that's lost in the woods.
Let me go help him.
[00:12:03] Speaker B: Wow. Okay.
[00:12:04] Speaker A: So he's being. He's being like a concerned citizen and a good neighbor and wild instinct.
[00:12:10] Speaker C: Okay. Yeah.
[00:12:10] Speaker A: This is what he draws.
And now it's bipedal.
[00:12:14] Speaker B: Okay. And feet molds to the rocks. Hands are gripping pin to the tree. The eyes are glowing faintly.
Silhouette.
[00:12:24] Speaker A: So he sees it. He sees it standing up. And, like, then he's like, oh.
And panics and runs, and that's like the last anybody has ever seen of it. So people. People are like, this is either an alien or it's a fairy. It's either one of the two.
[00:12:40] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:12:41] Speaker B: I mean, if the frogmen are gay. If the frogmen are gay. Dudes cruising. This is like.
This is like a query that got let out of the rave after like, like 24 hours straight and is just trying to get home and, like, stumbling on the rocks and like, it's not disdained belly. There's dehydrated as.
And the eyes are kind of glowing because they got contacts in to like go and look cool in the lights.
[00:13:11] Speaker A: Well, there's no raves in 1977, but if it's dehydrated, a time traveling Tommy Chompers.
[00:13:19] Speaker C: Oh, my God, I love it.
[00:13:21] Speaker B: He does kind of have the head shape
[00:13:25] Speaker A: and there's a shadow and there's a story with the shadow in the silhouette.
Is from Boston.
[00:13:35] Speaker C: Holy
[00:13:39] Speaker B: champers is the Dover demon.
[00:13:42] Speaker A: We solved it.
[00:13:43] Speaker B: Oh, my God. Does that mean we can finally end Cryptid Corner?
[00:13:47] Speaker A: No, we're gonna solve it every week now we have something to work towards. We're. We're. We're charting new ground in cryptozoology, I think. Remember, this is a wrestling podcast.
[00:14:02] Speaker C: He was.
He was born in 1985, so this could absolutely. This could absolutely be true.
[00:14:11] Speaker A: This could be him.
[00:14:12] Speaker C: Yeah, this could be him.
[00:14:14] Speaker A: Could be him. He could. Tommy.
No, no, no, no. Ella, you have to trust me on this. I've got.
[00:14:23] Speaker B: So we can bend it when it fits your whims. Okay?
[00:14:26] Speaker A: The Dover demon is a fairy.
[00:14:28] Speaker B: Yeah, I said that. A queer coming out of a rave.
[00:14:33] Speaker A: No, like an actual fairy. Like a real one, not some homo. Okay, it's not me.
[00:14:42] Speaker B: It might have been me. No, it's not me. Look at that. I wish I had those legs.
Yeah, yeah. No, look at that.
[00:14:48] Speaker A: And that ass.
[00:14:50] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:14:50] Speaker B: Come on. I'm working on it.
[00:14:53] Speaker A: Listen, but listen. So, like, it's a fairy. Tommy Chompers is its changeling.
Oh, left it. We solved the case.
He cracked the case of the Dover demon.
[00:15:07] Speaker C: He was trained about by Al Snow. Interesting.
[00:15:10] Speaker A: Ew.
[00:15:11] Speaker B: That's Tommy.
[00:15:12] Speaker A: That explains a lot, actually.
[00:15:13] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:15:15] Speaker B: Oh, no, I actually.
[00:15:17] Speaker A: Oh, no,
[00:15:22] Speaker B: That. That. That. That kind of changes things.
[00:15:25] Speaker A: Oh, no,
[00:15:29] Speaker C: Harley,
[00:15:32] Speaker B: you. You. Everyone loves head. I love head.
I want head. You want head? I get. I'll give you head. Pay me, please. I need money anyways. Wrestling.
[00:15:44] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, I guess we'll do that.
[00:15:48] Speaker B: That's the transition this week. Cryptid Corner, me offering head for money.
[00:16:00] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
I mean, I'm Sorry, but, like, that was a historic cryptid corner. We just saw Case.
[00:16:08] Speaker B: I think that was pretty nice.
[00:16:09] Speaker C: We actually. We closed the books on that one, though, pretty significantly.
[00:16:14] Speaker B: I have to say, I'm both. I'm both proud and kind of disgusted with us, which, you know,
[00:16:24] Speaker C: Just always kind of at a three for me. Really?
[00:16:26] Speaker A: Yeah. That's about how. How every episode of this goes.
[00:16:29] Speaker B: That's sort of what I'm shooting for.
[00:16:31] Speaker A: We've done a great job, but we have to take a shower afterwards.
[00:16:34] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:16:38] Speaker A: I feel so dirty.
That's why we're the trailer park Russell Girly.
[00:16:45] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
Of the wrestle girlies. Gender neutral conglomeration. We are definitely like the. The. The trailer park portion. Like. Like, hey, just hanging out. Like, hey, I got a tent. You know, I don't even have a trailer. Like, I just sort of out there, there, sitting outside.
[00:17:06] Speaker A: There's like a giant, like, tapestry of, like, skeletons jacking off or something.
[00:17:15] Speaker C: I do love the idea of sitting on the porch and sharing.
Sharing community with folks and sharing wrestling.
[00:17:23] Speaker A: We got going. Got some PBRs.
[00:17:26] Speaker B: I was gonna say, I can't stress enough that when I say, like, the trailer park portion of it, that's. That's complimentary in my eyes. Like, I've known some pretty sweet trailer
[00:17:36] Speaker A: folks, but it's still like, you know,
[00:17:40] Speaker B: salt of the earth.
[00:17:41] Speaker A: Yeah. We are the salt of the earth.
[00:17:45] Speaker B: Oh, mj.
[00:17:48] Speaker A: Oh, yes, we are. We are in hella, hella Boston. And Mercedes.
Mercedes gets the main event and we get like a. A clip of Garcia is hyping up Osprey while he's training. And then John Moxley shows up and says, stop playing grab ass, because even we can't even be like, this isn't gay anymore.
[00:18:12] Speaker B: Yeah, quit playing grab ass. That was lesson one. That was the first week.
We're far past grab ass.
I. I'm gonna need you to get your whole. Your whole fist in there.
[00:18:26] Speaker C: Really love the. The cinematographer or the video. The. The cinematography of this opening too. It was really great because you like the point of view of whatever Will is laying into. So it's. It's. It's actually great.
I've noticed that. I really like how the cameras and the. How these promos have been filmed. It's just great.
[00:18:53] Speaker B: No, they've been killing that lately. They have, yeah.
[00:18:56] Speaker A: Yeah.
So, yeah, Box. Box has some words with Osprey, and he says that the next steps are the critical ones. And lots of people make simple things, complicated. Targets in the crosshairs, and they hesitate and we'll earn this. And there will come a time to make hard decisions. But this is his dream.
Don't hesitate. This isn't a hard decision.
You get your shot, you pull the trigger, no matter who it is.
So he's, I guess, saying, don't be a bitch about murdering Kenny Omega because you've done it, like, three other times already.
[00:19:34] Speaker B: Yeah, just murder him again. What's one more?
[00:19:36] Speaker A: Just. Yeah, this is another murder.
[00:19:38] Speaker C: I really love to think about this.
These two lines in the context of the inevitable betrayal that will take place between these two gentlemen.
[00:19:52] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. These two are going to have a falling the hell out. This is true. Yeah.
[00:19:56] Speaker C: So. And to just bearing. Keeping that in mind through when that happens.
[00:20:03] Speaker B: Just. Just tucking that away for later.
[00:20:08] Speaker A: Who is not going to hesitate? Well, I. I think. I think Osprey turns on Mox and he tries to take over the Death Riders.
[00:20:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I do, too. Oh, yeah.
[00:20:19] Speaker A: Just want that to happen. I don't want to boom, Moxley.
[00:20:22] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:20:23] Speaker B: No, and I think that that will. Osprey can't help but get full of his own. His own and be like, you know, this Death Ride is saying is great. And you know what would be even better, bruv? If I ran it like that. I see that happen.
[00:20:38] Speaker C: Yep.
Oh, yeah. I mean, yeah, that's what's great. So what's so great about this?
[00:20:46] Speaker B: Yeah, love.
[00:20:48] Speaker A: It's the blow of widers.
[00:20:52] Speaker B: I don't see that.
Like, my favorite way. Like, I don't see that actually happening because the only way I could really see it going is him trying to do, like, a mutiny and, like, Claudio just, like, picking him up with one arm and just throwing him through.
[00:21:16] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:21:16] Speaker A: Oh, I would love that. They should do that.
[00:21:22] Speaker B: And then, like, later on, like, in the episode, like, someone could be doing a promo outside and they just go by his body in the ground and Marina's just pissing on him and it'd be so great. Just a pile of glass.
I like that. While Danny Garcia is doing the dance in the background, like, yeah, they're all
[00:21:45] Speaker A: pissing on him while Danny's doing the dance.
[00:21:50] Speaker C: That'd be so funny. Honestly.
Tony Khan, you coward.
[00:21:57] Speaker A: Yes.
Murder. Murder An Englishman. Tony, do it. Actually do it on live tv. On live tv. Have a Swissman.
[00:22:09] Speaker B: Darby and him can blow each other up at the same time.
[00:22:13] Speaker A: Yeah, man, that'd be sweet. Put him up. Put him on an Osprey.
Let them give the kids a flyover. They love that.
Anyway, there's a. There's like an actual wrestling Match happens here because. And it features the Death Riders who were just in that promo. It's the AW Men's tag team titles being defended by Copenhage against Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta of the Death Riders
[00:22:49] Speaker C: said. Lol. Coping cage in a non pay per view match. What is this? 2006?
Oh, yeah.
[00:23:01] Speaker A: Or 2000? 2001. 2001.
[00:23:04] Speaker B: Yeah.
You tried Hampter, but honestly I didn't
[00:23:08] Speaker C: look, so I was just spitballing.
[00:23:10] Speaker A: Yeah, they were broken up by 2006.
[00:23:14] Speaker C: No.
[00:23:14] Speaker B: The point being, even Hampter is getting digs on you
[00:23:19] Speaker C: just noticing that they only appear when you got paid 50 bucks for a viewing
[00:23:28] Speaker A: anyway.
Well, they're old.
[00:23:31] Speaker C: That's true.
[00:23:31] Speaker A: Yeah, they're old.
They, they, they.
I love this because they're like. They're trying to.
I almost called him Edge Copeland comes out and like he's doing his metalingus song. And they cut to the crowd and they're trying to find people singing. And there's nobody. They like not cutting to people singing. They're just like.
And then they stand there and that was good to me. And then Taz says, this song sucks.
[00:24:03] Speaker B: This song sucks. Yeah, it was. So the bridge you. Yeah, yeah.
[00:24:10] Speaker A: That was hot. Because he was in Boston and he was to molasses. He's so short.
He's not. He's not getting out of that.
[00:24:19] Speaker C: If he falls in, I know he's going under in.
[00:24:22] Speaker B: Hook's no help. Hook has had been. Has been dead.
[00:24:26] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:24:26] Speaker B: From the molasses. Yeah, from the.
[00:24:32] Speaker A: I was.
[00:24:33] Speaker C: I was like, who's eating the. Also before the match starts, I was like, who's going to eat this pin? And I predicted correctly.
And also.
Or. And I said, or will the dogs interrupt dq? And I also vaguely got that. Right.
Yeah.
[00:24:51] Speaker B: Who's gonna eat this pin? Who's gonna eat this molasses? Oh, all right. I'm sorry.
[00:24:56] Speaker A: They do. They do like a. A weird picture in picture promo while Renee's talking. This isn't. This is weird.
[00:25:04] Speaker B: This was wrong in. I feel like what. I feel like what they were trying to do is the thing where you have like someone cutting a talking promo, like in the picture in picture while the song's playing.
But instead it was like a video package type thing. And like.
[00:25:25] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:25:26] Speaker B: So you got like multiple music. And it was just. It was like, what? This was a mistake.
Whoever did this, hire me instead.
[00:25:35] Speaker A: This does not get the audio issues. Air horn. This is just bad.
[00:25:40] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:25:41] Speaker B: Yeah. This isn't even one. Yeah, this isn't Even a fun one. This is just. You up that up.
[00:25:48] Speaker A: I do. I do. Like the line about Christian's gonna, like, say about the Red Sox and then coach just like. Actually, no, we don't. We don't like the Yankees either. Calm down.
[00:25:57] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:25:59] Speaker B: Also, you're in Boston. They'll kill you.
I don't know. I'm not so crazy.
[00:26:07] Speaker A: They're. They're cowards.
[00:26:10] Speaker B: Okay, but I'm talking to someone from Philly, so that doesn't like that. Again, it's like. It's a different tier. Like, you don't.
[00:26:19] Speaker A: I mean, like, we haven't killed anyone either, because it's sports. Apparently, out in LA is where they kill people from other teams.
That.
[00:26:31] Speaker B: This is why I keep my. My sports fake. Yeah.
[00:26:34] Speaker A: Yeah. Where all the murders happen off screen and are extra tragic.
Benoit.
[00:26:46] Speaker C: There it is.
[00:26:47] Speaker A: I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
[00:26:50] Speaker B: I wasn't ready. That. Would you. You got me. You really. You got me. Jesus.
Benwama aren't putting it up.
[00:27:00] Speaker A: That was not. That was. That was kind of a forced Beno. I apologize.
[00:27:07] Speaker B: It's only okay when it's organic.
[00:27:12] Speaker A: Jesus.
Crowd is just, like, hating Yuta. And then Cage comes in so much. He does the guy. He does the Garcia dance, and that's. And, like, everybody's chatting like, he's our father.
[00:27:25] Speaker C: He's your father.
[00:27:27] Speaker A: Extremely basic stuff. Because Cope and Cage are old as dirt.
Cope gets caught in the ring skirt and the right. Like, they. They jump on him and they do their little pummeling thing to him and they go to commercial and it's just like, very simple.
Tag Team Heat segment during the commercial.
[00:27:45] Speaker C: Yep.
I do love it when they believe Cage or. Yeah, no, Copeland. Sorry.
[00:27:53] Speaker A: Yeah, Copeland. They. They were going after his neck because they know that Copeland had. Had a neck.
[00:28:00] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:28:01] Speaker A: But because he's not Will Osprey, he was able to fight back on his own.
[00:28:06] Speaker B: Yes.
A famous. Famous neck.
Like, famously.
Famously took him out for, like, 10 years.
Neck. He had to become an actor.
[00:28:18] Speaker A: He retired.
[00:28:19] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:28:20] Speaker A: And then he came back when they was like, hey, you know, medical science can fix that. He's like, yes, thank you.
[00:28:25] Speaker B: Awesome.
[00:28:26] Speaker A: I'm tired of having a In my neck.
[00:28:28] Speaker B: Tired. Having a neck.
[00:28:30] Speaker A: It's very. It feels very weird.
[00:28:32] Speaker B: The jobs are drying up. They're ending the Viking show. Like, I feel like. I don't know.
[00:28:38] Speaker A: I forgot he was on that.
[00:28:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
I don't know yet if I'm getting the Percy Jackson gig. So, like, I really. I need you to fix my neck.
[00:28:47] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:28:48] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:28:49] Speaker A: So it's really basic, but the crowd is into it because I guess they just like Cope and Cage, like Cope eventually just bites you in the face. And he dives from. He's up on the rope and he dives over and he gets the hot tag to Cage and Cage just runs in and he's punching everybody and gets reverse DDT on Yuta.
They throw Garcia's head first into Yuta's dick.
[00:29:10] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:29:12] Speaker A: Which I don't think should work because they're Death Riders.
Yeah.
[00:29:17] Speaker B: They should be honest.
[00:29:19] Speaker C: They should be immune.
[00:29:20] Speaker A: And then Christian Cage goes up and is like, I'm going to not do a Benoit style diving headbutt. And then like just kind of flops on his knees.
[00:29:31] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:29:32] Speaker A: Good job.
Well done. Very smart. Don't concuss yourself for a TV match.
[00:29:38] Speaker C: Nope.
[00:29:39] Speaker B: Yeah, I appreciate that. Wait. Way to. To keep your. Your neck unpussified. Yeah.
[00:29:44] Speaker A: Yeah. They try throwing the Death Riders get together. They try throwing coping Cage at each other, but they reverse it.
Run each other over.
I know. Cope jumps over Cage and takes out. They take out the guys.
[00:29:59] Speaker C: Yeah, it was a nice do a spot.
[00:30:02] Speaker A: Yuta hits a nice German suplex to Cage after he blocks a low blow. And they do the. The train to Cage and then they do their little like circle celebration. Taz is all pissed about that. It's a little bit too gay for him to see in the ring.
Danny gets kicked into balls and Yuta walks into a spear after trying to take the turnbuckle off.
[00:30:30] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:30:30] Speaker A: Turnbuckle pad off. And the champions retain.
[00:30:33] Speaker B: On my scalp.
[00:30:35] Speaker C: Yeah, I do. I like it. I love Cage popping in because he's just. Because he's a heel piece of. And he'll dish it back to, you know, Garcia and you and Yuta. But yeah, I was like, yeah, you just eating this pin. It was like, oh, it's all right.
[00:30:53] Speaker B: We can't exist without getting a you a chance. So there is like.
[00:30:57] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, he's working hard to earn them. He's working hard to earn them. So well done to Wheeler.
[00:31:05] Speaker C: This match was just standing there.
[00:31:08] Speaker B: That's my boy.
[00:31:10] Speaker A: Yeah, it was okay.
Yeah, I liked it.
So the young bucks are in the crowd and they're. They applaud for the champions. And then the Dogs and Claudio come out and we're. I'm still unclear what the relationship between the Dogs and Death Riders are.
[00:31:31] Speaker C: They are mercenary group for the. Yeah, for the mercenary.
[00:31:37] Speaker A: They're the Death Riders. Blackwater, I guess. I don't know.
[00:31:40] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:31:41] Speaker B: Yeah. No, they're associated.
Yeah.
[00:31:49] Speaker C: You want to keep it fresh. So they'll just rotate members of the. You know.
[00:31:55] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:31:55] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:31:56] Speaker A: Well, you know what?
[00:31:58] Speaker B: I like how they murder people with abandon.
[00:32:03] Speaker A: Swear to God. Any. There's got to be an indie tag team out there called Friends of the Pod.
[00:32:09] Speaker C: I hope so.
[00:32:10] Speaker B: There's gotta be. If not, we should. We should learn how to take bumps.
[00:32:15] Speaker A: No, I'm not doing that. My back already hurts.
[00:32:20] Speaker B: Yeah, no, I. My knee. I did squats yesterday. My knees like, hey, remember when you hurt us? I do.
Let me remind you.
[00:32:35] Speaker A: They come out and they try and take advantage of the champions. And then Bang Bang Gang comes out to even the odds. And then Jay White emerges last to save Christian Cage.
He takes the shillelagh away from Finley and Cage. Cage just does not trust him.
[00:32:51] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:32:52] Speaker A: Still.
And they get face to face and Cope is trying to play peacemaker. And the crowd.
Well done, Boston crowd. They are chanting kiss at them.
[00:33:02] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:33:03] Speaker B: It was so proud.
I was so proud.
I. I said on blue sky. And I'm repeating it here. I'm calling this a total cultural victory for the Wrestle girlies.
Neutral. I feel like we've won.
Wrestling is full on gay now.
It's really. It's quite something.
[00:33:26] Speaker A: We could not have done it without our brave leaders like Effie.
Dark chic.
[00:33:32] Speaker B: Dark chic.
[00:33:34] Speaker A: Well done.
[00:33:34] Speaker B: Oh, everyone who's.
[00:33:36] Speaker A: For all of us.
[00:33:37] Speaker B: Yeah. And everyone who's ever, you know, made out with Effie.
Which I saw a few in person like recently I never talked about in the pod. I saw Effie. I saw Ali catch. Win a championship. Eddie Kingston touched me.
Anyway, that's neither here nor there. I'm never washing this hand again.
[00:33:59] Speaker C: It's been a couple of weeks.
[00:34:01] Speaker B: I have it. I have no, I have it in a cryogenic pod. Like David Duchovny at the end of Zoolander.
[00:34:09] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:34:09] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, no, it's fine.
[00:34:12] Speaker A: Don't worry if it's. If it's okay.
[00:34:14] Speaker B: I can't believe you guys haven't noticed this the last two months.
[00:34:16] Speaker A: Well, now that I have, I'm not worried about it.
That's good. That's. That's actually pretty smart.
So, yeah, there's a little Andrade video package about how he's awesome and now he's divorced. He can be more awesome?
[00:34:32] Speaker B: Pretty much, yeah. He's like, I'm past my past. I was like, hell yeah, you are.
[00:34:37] Speaker A: He is. Yeah.
[00:34:39] Speaker B: Now you're the trans girl.
[00:34:41] Speaker A: He's single handedly taking back the power for divorced men away from, like, pathetic people that's on Twitter who are just being like, I'm the most divorced person ever. Look at my race car bed. And Andrade's like, look at my bed full of beautiful women.
And, you know, good for I sleep
[00:35:00] Speaker B: in a big bed with your wife.
[00:35:05] Speaker A: It is also a race car.
[00:35:07] Speaker B: It's also a race car. Tranquilo.
[00:35:11] Speaker A: Yeah, like, that's what the. The license plate on his race car bed says. Tranquilo.
[00:35:16] Speaker C: Oh, my God, that's so sick.
[00:35:18] Speaker A: But it's, like, full of hot moms.
[00:35:22] Speaker C: Yes.
We love Andrade.
[00:35:27] Speaker A: Yay.
So, yeah, Renee. They cut to him with Renee and he says if he has to take.
If he has to take away every title from the Don Callis family, he will, because it's his destiny to become world champion. And he's got MJF's ring. And they kind of imply that Osprey gave it to him. And he says, how, you know, when
[00:35:53] Speaker C: they ask him, is that friend's name Will Ospreay?
[00:35:58] Speaker A: How you know, I still can't believe that is over. That's, like, so weird.
[00:36:04] Speaker B: They. They're chanting it in the background. After he says it, they start chanting.
[00:36:09] Speaker A: It's weird. Like, you know what? Just go with it. If you can get heat over in the Fed, you can get how, you know, over here.
[00:36:20] Speaker C: I would love to see him just win every single belt from the Don Callis family, actually. Truly.
[00:36:26] Speaker A: Oh, yeah,
[00:36:29] Speaker C: very funny.
[00:36:31] Speaker B: I also think you should join the Conglomeration and just get the. Just the most ridiculous, like, like thousand dollar over the top, like, backpack. Like, like chic backpack.
[00:36:45] Speaker A: Because those things
[00:36:48] Speaker B: still somehow Jansport. He gets, like, the most expensive. JanSport.
[00:36:52] Speaker C: Yeah, it's a Louis Vuitton Jansport cross. Yes.
[00:36:55] Speaker B: Thank you. Yes.
You see the vision hamper?
[00:36:58] Speaker C: Yeah, I do, I do.
[00:37:00] Speaker B: Thank you so much.
[00:37:01] Speaker C: It's just a backpack with a. With a fancy design on it.
[00:37:06] Speaker A: All right, so Renee teleports, and now she's with the Conglomeration to ask them about the trio's titles.
And Orange Cassidy watches the show. So he says, this is the perfect time for somebody to come challenge us. And it's the demand. They show up and they talk back and forth a little bit. And then the Lethals are the Lethal Swirl or Lethal Twist. Somebody said Lethal Twist, but that seems wrong. Yeah, Swirl. Lethal Swirl. Because they're the swirl, not the twist.
[00:37:38] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:37:39] Speaker A: Somebody said Lethal Twist.
And on the broadcast, it's probably Tony, but they're wrong. Anyway, they attack from behind and Ricochet is like, aha, and then kind of implies that maybe. Maybe the lethal swirl will join.
Is it really?
[00:37:58] Speaker C: Yeah, I like on the AEW all elite wrestlerrestling.com it is lethal twist. Because I think it might be lethal swerve. When it's just the two. And when Jay. Or. Yeah. Enters. It's becomes the lethal twist.
[00:38:16] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:38:17] Speaker C: I don't know.
[00:38:19] Speaker A: That doesn't make sense to me.
[00:38:20] Speaker B: It was. I swear to God. It was the lethal swirl.
[00:38:24] Speaker A: Yeah. Like it.
Listen. Aw.
[00:38:28] Speaker C: Swirl on the bottom. On his. On his butt.
[00:38:30] Speaker A: Right, right. Because Blake Christian and the Lee Johnson are the swirl. Because it's a black guy and a white guy.
[00:38:36] Speaker B: Yeah. That was like, the whole ice cream thing. Yeah, they're ice cream.
[00:38:40] Speaker A: And then Jay Lethal showed up, and he's lethal. So you just put lethal swirl.
[00:38:45] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't know. Why?
[00:38:48] Speaker A: What's the twist? Are they like a lemon twist or something? Like lemon zinger.
[00:38:52] Speaker B: Tony Khan.
[00:38:53] Speaker A: What the Tony Khan Makes sense.
[00:38:58] Speaker C: Is it saint. Is it maybe a. A way. Another way of saying, like a swirl cone? Because it's. I don't know. I don't know.
[00:39:05] Speaker B: No, no, that's wrong. That's. If. No. Them. Them.
[00:39:10] Speaker A: This is not how ice cream works. Does not held gelato or soft serve or frozen yogurt or any of that works.
[00:39:16] Speaker B: No.
[00:39:16] Speaker A: Tony, call me. I need to know.
[00:39:19] Speaker C: I completely agree. I wrote swirl down.
[00:39:22] Speaker A: I did, too, but I wrote down that I heard somebody say twist.
[00:39:25] Speaker B: This is, like, ruined my entire experience.
[00:39:29] Speaker A: Aw. I don't know how to say this, but I think it's dying.
[00:39:33] Speaker B: Yeah. No, it's done.
[00:39:34] Speaker A: They can't name their.
[00:39:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:39:36] Speaker A: Jobber tag team names.
[00:39:41] Speaker C: Lethal and Swerve.
[00:39:44] Speaker B: Swerve's got nothing to do with this.
[00:39:46] Speaker A: Yeah. Swirl.
[00:39:47] Speaker C: I keep saying swerve instead of swirl.
[00:39:51] Speaker B: Just don't stop trying to bring swerve into this. He's so much better than this. No.
[00:39:59] Speaker A: All right. Wrestling match happens. Jake Doyle versus Andrade El Idolo. If Andrade wins, he gets a shot at the national title.
And they mentioned that Doyle has not lost a singles match yet. And Andrade is accompanied to the ring by women because he is divorced. But cool.
[00:40:17] Speaker B: Yes, but yeah, in a cool way.
[00:40:19] Speaker C: I wonder if they'll give him a valet.
[00:40:22] Speaker B: He doesn't need one.
[00:40:23] Speaker A: Yeah, he just.
[00:40:25] Speaker C: He's always wearing so many clothes, so I don't know.
[00:40:28] Speaker B: No, he's got the various hotties in the. In the audience. He's got his selfie girls.
[00:40:35] Speaker A: Yeah, because he had a selfie girl. He had the ring girls lead him to the ring. And then he had a selfie girl, too. So, like, he's, like, dripping in, as they say.
[00:40:45] Speaker B: Jesus Christ. Erica.
[00:40:52] Speaker A: Sorry.
[00:40:53] Speaker B: It was unreal.
Dripping. I'm writing that one down.
[00:40:59] Speaker A: Taz is deeply putting that.
[00:41:01] Speaker B: I'm putting that on my. My mood board, my manifestation board.
I wish to be dripping in.
What the.
[00:41:14] Speaker A: Anyway, as is offended because Andrade stole Max's ring.
Yeah.
[00:41:19] Speaker C: What the.
[00:41:20] Speaker A: The way this match starts is Andrade runs at him, and Jake is just like a wall of meat, and he just bounces off.
[00:41:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:41:32] Speaker A: Huge.
[00:41:33] Speaker C: That's a wall with veins.
[00:41:35] Speaker B: He's a wash.
[00:41:39] Speaker A: Somebody's really.
Somebody's really trying to get, like, a Ice 2 chant going when they start cursing out Don Callis, but, like, it's not happening.
[00:41:48] Speaker B: No, it was going for a bit there. I felt pretty good about it. Maybe that was just because last week they didn't even try.
[00:41:56] Speaker A: Well, there was, there was, there was. Somebody tried for this one, but, like, it's much louder later on.
[00:42:03] Speaker C: Yep.
[00:42:04] Speaker A: And actually, I think better.
So. Yeah. Andrade is finally able to get the advantage, and he gets a pretty cool head scissors from the apron, and he takes a shirt off that says, how you know?
And he's got a shirt that says on and mjf, except is now censored.
[00:42:21] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:42:23] Speaker A: And then he's trying to pose with the. The ring girl, ringside girl. And, like, the lighting's all bad, so, like, they have to, like, take the picture several times.
Oh.
[00:42:36] Speaker C: And I don't even know what's going on with.
[00:42:38] Speaker B: I don't.
[00:42:39] Speaker A: They. They couldn't get the lighting right. And then Taz was commenting on that. He's like, I have many lines to say after that little comment, but I will not say it.
[00:42:46] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:42:47] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:42:47] Speaker B: Oh, I know that. All I know is that whoever the selfie girl was, your hair looked unbelievable. Like, you looked amazing. I, I.
[00:42:58] Speaker A: Well done.
[00:42:59] Speaker B: Yeah. I was stunned.
Anyways. Yeah. That's neither here nor there.
[00:43:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:43:06] Speaker B: Well, no, it's important. Get it, girl.
[00:43:10] Speaker A: It's good to, you know, support women, and they're damn right. Hell yeah. I know. That takes work.
You drive.
Doyle's just like, this is stupid. And now he's just, like, throwing the small guy around.
Taz actually breaks down for a second why the. The apron is the hardest part of the ring.
[00:43:34] Speaker C: When I heard, when he started talking,
[00:43:39] Speaker A: if X Ray Jones. Yes. If Taz is going to talk about it and brought it up, it's like, all right, I can't argue with it anymore. It is the hardest part of the ring.
[00:43:46] Speaker B: Yeah, he would know.
[00:43:48] Speaker A: Yeah, he would know.
[00:43:50] Speaker B: He's gone through a ring.
[00:43:51] Speaker C: I mean, it was just like, I think Excalibur comments on it, and he's like, yeah, it's wrestling. That's all I know. Like, don't know nothing about Sheetrock, but I. I can tell you about wrestling because it's all I know.
[00:44:07] Speaker A: Yeah, they're like, wow, Taz, you really, like, know, like, your ring construction.
[00:44:12] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, that's all I know.
[00:44:15] Speaker B: Please don't ask me about Sheetrock. I don't know about. Please, Tony, don't do it.
[00:44:21] Speaker C: Begins the.
At least for me, like the other Excalibur and Tony being concerned or, like, very, like, supportive of him in a very kind way as the evening continues. So maybe. Maybe Taz is going through it.
[00:44:40] Speaker A: Yeah, they were. They were, like, very supportive of Taz in this moment. They was like, wow, you know? Yeah, we don't, like, we take. We take you a little bit for granted, Taz, and we love you and respect you. It's really what I imagine they were saying. Yeah, I know, I know.
Yeah, they, they, they, they Name dropped Bruiser Brody comparing Doyle's knee drops to his.
That made Hampter happy.
[00:45:02] Speaker C: I. That made me very happy because I was like, I know who that is. And I agree. I see. I mean, I see.
I mean, definitely physically at least, but
[00:45:11] Speaker B: I also saw the comparison.
He's got an overall, like. Like, unhinged big dude vibe, for sure.
[00:45:21] Speaker C: I saw Tony Atlas recently in a recent Monday Night Raw, and I forgot that he was also involved with the Bros or Brody thing because, like, everybody's fucking connected. So.
[00:45:34] Speaker B: Quick, Quick question. When you. When you saw him, was he. His face covered in women's feet?
[00:45:41] Speaker C: No, it was actually.
It was really weird. He was.
[00:45:45] Speaker B: That's unfortunate.
[00:45:46] Speaker C: The celebrity spots in the.
In the crowd of RA in Raw, and he walked out with who? I can't remember anyways, but it was weird.
Very.
[00:46:03] Speaker B: Yeah, I know. You know that they. He asked Vince. He's like, I'll do it, but can I be. Can I.
Can I be, you know, the aisle. Can I be the ramp? Can you just put me.
[00:46:20] Speaker A: Just in case anybody doesn't know this Tony Atlas has a foot fetish.
[00:46:25] Speaker B: Hey, hey, it's not about feet, he says. Not about the fee. It's about him being humble. That's what he said. Let's make sure.
[00:46:33] Speaker A: Fetish, he's notorious for it.
[00:46:36] Speaker B: He will not shut the fuck up about. Which is why I'm not shutting the fuck up. About. Because it's so fucking funny to me.
[00:46:43] Speaker A: Why are we talking about Tony Atlas vaguely funny?
[00:46:47] Speaker C: Because this is also the first. This is the first night that they rolled out the ramp for Raw. So the wrestlers were riding down and then like onto the stairs into the ring. So he was.
Maybe he got a really good view.
Sorry. Okay. I. Sorry.
[00:47:08] Speaker B: Thank you for encouraging me.
[00:47:10] Speaker A: I like this spot where. Where Doyle is just like.
He's just running back and forth and just knocking on shoulder, blocking Andrade down over and over and over again until Andrade kicks him in the head.
[00:47:24] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:47:25] Speaker A: Like, eventually he kips up, he takes his shirt off, and the crowd goes apeshit for his. Finally, his hot naked chest.
Real Latino man chest.
[00:47:36] Speaker B: Real Latino man chest.
[00:47:39] Speaker A: I know. I feel something about.
Does. It does not take long before they get bored and they chant for him to take his pants off.
[00:47:48] Speaker B: Yes.
I do wanna. I do want to point out though, when he took off his shirt to show us the real Latino Manchester, he absolutely was already sporting one in his long, longer pants.
If you pay attention to these things and I do, that shit was going down down in downtown. It was happening.
[00:48:18] Speaker C: Going on a little camping trip.
[00:48:20] Speaker A: I knew he wasn't going to because he's wearing his knee pads over his pants.
So those. Those weren't coming off.
[00:48:28] Speaker B: So that's why he had to me. That's why he's like, I'm gonna make sure I still get one.
So they know.
[00:48:33] Speaker C: But a sick Meteora.
[00:48:35] Speaker B: Am I right?
[00:48:36] Speaker A: Meteora.
[00:48:39] Speaker C: With the power of his heart on.
[00:48:46] Speaker A: Oh, no.
[00:48:47] Speaker C: He goes for the Meteora.
Body blocked because
[00:48:55] Speaker A: that was the wall of veins.
[00:48:59] Speaker C: And he smashes into him. Oh, my God. Incredible.
[00:49:03] Speaker A: He does get the meteor eventually.
[00:49:05] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:49:07] Speaker A: There's like. Like the. The finish was pretty hot. So, like, Andrade comes down, he does the Three Amigos. He does the. The corner knees for two.
And he goes up top to dive at Doyle, who just like clobbers him with an elbow. Andre survives and he's gonna. Doyle's gonna go for the black boss man. Slam is countered into a crucifix bomb. Dios de los muertos elbow dm. And that's it. And Andrade wins and punches his ticket to face Mark Davis. The large man. He's just fighting big burly men. And I love it.
[00:49:43] Speaker C: Yeah, it's good to see. Actually.
[00:49:46] Speaker A: I also would be hard.
I like. All right, this. This little bit I liked really good was Andrade like, wiggles his teeth at the end of the match. And I like when wrestlers do that, especially after like, they've been hit in the face a bunch here is like, do I have all my teeth? Yeah, we're good.
[00:50:05] Speaker B: Just checking.
[00:50:06] Speaker A: Yeah, we're good.
[00:50:07] Speaker B: He hit me real hard, like.
[00:50:09] Speaker A: Yeah.
Davis is gonna wrestle him at Redemption, and he comes out to start, but Andrade pulls out the ring, and that backs off the champion.
Pretty cool. I'm looking forward to that match. Yeah, that'll be fun.
[00:50:26] Speaker C: I appreciate that. His rant running through of the Don Callis gauntlet is going much better than my beloved speedball Mike Bailey's.
[00:50:35] Speaker A: Yeah, but they've got heart.
They've got heart, but they don't have a match for the pay per view.
[00:50:47] Speaker B: That's kind of up, actually.
I'm gonna go ahead and call it phobic.
[00:50:51] Speaker A: We'll. We'll talk about that, I think later.
Video package for Omega versus MJF from last week. Good video package. Cool match. Go watch it. If you haven't, you probably have, though.
So next we're gonna get Kenny Omega's championship celebration. And I like that. Everyone gets these except for Shida, apparently. She to championship celebration. Seriously, why does this company hate Hikarushida?
[00:51:16] Speaker B: Maybe she. Maybe she's like, I don't want this.
[00:51:20] Speaker A: You. She should.
Everybody gets one. Tony Khan. Answer. Answer your critics.
[00:51:28] Speaker C: Text me back, bro.
[00:51:29] Speaker B: It's answer for your crimes.
[00:51:33] Speaker A: Answer for your crimes. Tony Shivani has introduces Kenny, and they've got, like, a giant Omega symbol in the ring with, like, a collage of pictures of the elite all over it.
Yeah, it's very cute. And even Taz is just like, omega looks really good with the belt.
So before Kenny can talk, the Bucks come out with a brown bag. And they. They're like, yeah, we've been friends. Okay. First off, the pyro just goes off randomly.
[00:52:01] Speaker C: Yes.
There's a crowd is chanting, you deserve it.
And he's like, yeah, sure, why not?
[00:52:12] Speaker B: It. Yeah.
[00:52:14] Speaker C: So good.
That's so appropriate.
[00:52:18] Speaker A: Yeah, it was great. It was great. See, they've been friends for 20 years. They saw him win the big one all by himself, and they're proud of him. He's proved he's still the best wrestler on the planet, and they don't want him to wear the triple B because it looks like it. And they gave him the real belt. Yay. No more triple B. That's. I'm glad that. That's just like an MJF thing. It's not like. Yeah, it's not like getting his own spinner belt after he beat Cena.
[00:52:44] Speaker B: That was so silly.
Well, it's just because this. The spinner belt sold so well. That's all it came down to.
Money, pal. Yeah.
[00:52:57] Speaker A: Terrible.
No taste by anyone in that time period.
Yep. So Kenny, he made a promise to himself, and the difference maker wasn't believing in himself and his family, believing himself.
It was the. Yeah. It was the extended Aw. Family and the fans that would have that. If it wasn't for them, he would have given up on himself.
And it's all very sweet. And they focus on a crowd that says kenny, by God Omega. Like, bisexual God Omega.
Good job on that.
[00:53:30] Speaker B: That's great. I missed that. That's a good catch, kids. Proud of you.
Holy crap.
[00:53:38] Speaker A: Someone starts a USA chant when they mentioned that Wembley is in 50 days. And, like, I. I can't.
[00:53:44] Speaker B: No one liked that.
[00:53:46] Speaker A: I can almost forgive it because it's Boston and, like, Boston should be, like, the most the English out of pretty much anywhere on the East Coast. Except maybe Philly, but Philly doesn't care that much. It's 2026 and not 1776.
[00:54:03] Speaker C: Oh, no.
[00:54:04] Speaker B: But also, we just got done with, like, World cup and, like, World Cup's still happening, but, like, you know, the US Was in it, so, like, maybe there's some leftover and they had. They hosted, like, Boston hosted. So, like, there's maybe some leftover, but it's like, don't. Also, I think it just comes down to a lot of.
Think this country isn't the great Satan. Couldn't be me.
But I don't get it. Yeah.
[00:54:31] Speaker A: I'm not. I'm not.
It's been a while since I've been like, boy, I have American pride.
[00:54:39] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
[00:54:42] Speaker A: They're gonna. We're gonna see the best version of Kenny at Wembley and the best version of Kenny Omega that has ever been in a W. And this brings out Will.
And unfortunately, I see a sign that says Will, by God, Osprey, and it's like, no, that man has never. That man is straight as an arrow. He's never even looked at a penis before.
[00:55:06] Speaker C: Just not even looked at his own penis.
[00:55:08] Speaker A: No, he's just like, yeah, it makes him. He's like. He's that scared of it. Like, I don't know how he's doing hanging out with the Death Riders, so I hate that guy. He's never sucked a dick in his life.
Will mentions his feud with the Bucks from last year, and he's like, he's glad that they landed on their feet, even though he had to beat them up. And he Asked for alone time with Kenny.
Are you trying. Trying to pretend to be gay and have the bi feelings?
I'm not buying it. You.
You. Heterosexual. Derogatory.
[00:55:42] Speaker C: Yeah, extremely derogatory.
[00:55:46] Speaker A: It's very funny because I definitely. I definitely have straight friends and I say straight. It's, like, disgusting. My voice sometimes that, like, they put on it. Good.
[00:55:54] Speaker C: Yes.
Yes.
They can take it.
[00:56:00] Speaker A: It's like she's being ironic. Right? No, yeah. Irony.
Irony. I'm. I'm saying heterosexual has a slur here.
[00:56:11] Speaker C: Love the sin.
Love the center.
[00:56:15] Speaker B: I. I step out to get a bowl, tortilla chips, and I come back. Now I'm using heterosexual as a slur here.
[00:56:22] Speaker C: Extremely.
[00:56:24] Speaker B: Don't get. Don't get me wrong. I just want to make this clear. Hell yeah.
But I just. I can't wait to find out the context anyways. Continue.
[00:56:36] Speaker A: Oh, because somebody's got a. Had a Will, by God, osprey sign.
[00:56:42] Speaker B: No.
[00:56:43] Speaker A: And it's like.
[00:56:43] Speaker B: No.
[00:56:44] Speaker A: Yeah. Right. Right.
[00:56:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:56:46] Speaker B: No.
[00:56:46] Speaker A: That man's never not looked at a penis sexually in his life.
[00:56:51] Speaker B: No. And if he. And if he did, it was like. It was just wrong by accident.
By accident.
He probably got really weird about it after.
[00:57:02] Speaker A: Yeah.
Yep. Yeah. So Will. Will says, like, that the match he had last week was great. He thought it was over when Kenny got hit with the belt, but you kicked out at one, you cheeky slag.
I can't do his accent. I don't feel like doing a British accent. It feels wrong.
[00:57:21] Speaker B: I mean, on behalf of Kenny Omega. You with this cheeky slag.
[00:57:26] Speaker A: Yeah, you cheeky slag. You kicked out. It warned you. Cheeky. Yeah, it's not good.
See, that's just bad.
Machine is back, and Will knows the rivalry will heat up the closer it gets to Wembley. But he wants to say that Kenny Omega has been his hero for years.
And watching him since, watching him in the Tokyo Dome and Omega is synonymous with aw.
[00:57:51] Speaker B: Tokyo domes around the world is what he said. He said. He said. He said, I've been watching you in Tokyo Dom films around the world, and the first thing I thought of was, Finley.
I know the dumb. You're the dumbest wrestler I know. And I know.
[00:58:09] Speaker A: Well, no, there's. There's something even dumber. So he. Yeah, he's. He's. Will is locked in. He's not satisfied with being number two. And they'll keep going every week to show why they're in this position. And then this is the.
This man is 30, says, this is gonna be like real life. Goku And Vegeta are gonna fight it out.
[00:58:38] Speaker B: Okay, okay, look. And I'm pushing 40, but. And even I was like, like, I was like, I get the reference. Totally. We made the reference as a joke towards all the gay you were doing with. With Moxley and the boys in the back.
You're not supposed to actually say, what with the gravity. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
You're not supposed to see it. For serious.
[00:59:03] Speaker A: Yeah, like, we're saying it in the context of, like, goops. You guys are like a little, you know, light in the loafers.
He's saying, we ship this to Lincoln Park.
Yeah, yeah.
[00:59:21] Speaker C: He wants to have a super cut of the match made and he's gonna put it over.
[00:59:27] Speaker A: Oh, Kenny brother become show numb.
[00:59:30] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:59:31] Speaker B: Oh, Jesus, I'm so sad inside.
[00:59:37] Speaker A: I remember in high school we had. We had one of those, like, TV broadcast studios in our high school and somebody actually did make a Dragon Ball Z Linkin park anime music video. And they played was like the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen because, like, ah, I know what this is. I'm gonna look at the floor and pretend that I don't. Because everybody.
[00:59:58] Speaker B: That's amazing.
[00:59:59] Speaker A: We need to find the person who made this and beat them up.
[01:00:03] Speaker B: Hey, that's amazing. I hope she's doing all right now. Okay, like, because I'm assume. I'm assuming someone is trans. Their gender in this equation.
[01:00:15] Speaker A: I mean, me.
Well, yeah, I'm probably the only one that did. If there was at least one other gay guy at the school, but he was the only one who was allowed to be out.
He was the token.
[01:00:31] Speaker C: No. Okay.
[01:00:31] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, I just got. I just had to not get beaten up. All right, so then Kevin Knight comes out and he's like. He calls them weeaboos for comparing themselves to Dragon Ball.
[01:00:43] Speaker B: And he is correct.
Kevin Knight has continued to do nothing wrong except for when he hit hit speedball that one time.
[01:00:50] Speaker A: Kenny welcomes him to the party and Knight wants Will to leave, but Kenny tells him to stay.
So Knight congratulates him and reminds him that he still owed a title match because MJF said he could have one. And he expects Omega to make good on that promise. And Kenny's like, that's not how that works, bro.
That's dumb.
No. He's like, no. Why would I honor a promise that MJF made? I'm not mjf.
But then he says, anyway, he's.
[01:01:24] Speaker C: He.
[01:01:24] Speaker A: He says, I'll give you the match because I'm a nice guy.
[01:01:29] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:01:29] Speaker A: And he thinks, night Is special.
He thinks he has it.
[01:01:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:01:34] Speaker A: That only superstars have.
[01:01:37] Speaker B: But like, John thinks I have it. Dad says I have it.
[01:01:42] Speaker C: You.
[01:01:44] Speaker A: But he. He says that he lost a lot of respect for him when he joined up with Don Callis.
He understands what it's like to hear Don Callis's siren song. In which case I. I had a thought about like the. A muscular Don Callis with like a fish tail.
[01:02:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:02:05] Speaker A: Singing the wrestlers in the locker room.
[01:02:07] Speaker B: It's an absolute yoked out mermaid. Yeah, exactly.
[01:02:12] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:02:12] Speaker C: Yeah. It's in the style of the glistening bodies that he always has painted for his family portraits on. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
[01:02:19] Speaker A: He's just on a rock in the locker room singing to wrestlers.
[01:02:26] Speaker C: Have any hair?
[01:02:27] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:02:30] Speaker C: Don't ball.
[01:02:34] Speaker A: Make it happen.
[01:02:38] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:02:40] Speaker A: That's how you know it's a siren.
I'm sorry. I'm thinking of the Aqua Teen Siren episode now. I'm sorry. Yeah.
[01:02:54] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:02:55] Speaker A: This is John Crook. This is Don Callis.
I've gone and joined this. Become a siren. I. I quit wrestling to become a siren, you guys.
Yeah, Cut this. This is terrible.
[01:03:12] Speaker B: No, no staying. Please, Piper, please.
[01:03:16] Speaker A: Oh, he's like. He. He. He says he'll give him the match. He just wants night to stop being Don Callis's lap dog boy.
[01:03:23] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:03:24] Speaker B: Yeah, Fair enough.
[01:03:25] Speaker C: Nobody listens to Kenny.
[01:03:27] Speaker A: Nobody listen to Ken.
[01:03:29] Speaker C: He's 42.
[01:03:29] Speaker A: Knight said he's 42.
[01:03:34] Speaker B: He's got knowledge and wisdom older than me.
[01:03:36] Speaker A: He might know more.
Yep. So Knight says he made it this far on his own. But one thing he got wrong. He says there's no goodness left in his heart. There's only greatness.
Because Kenny thought there was goodness left in him. Yep. And then he punches him.
[01:03:51] Speaker B: That was a pretty great line.
[01:03:54] Speaker A: And he runs away from Will.
And then the little arrives and attacks him from behind.
[01:04:01] Speaker C: You.
[01:04:01] Speaker A: Brian Cage chases him off and Don. Rest of the Don Cow's family shows up and. Hey. He. Sarah is back.
Yeah.
[01:04:09] Speaker C: So excited.
[01:04:11] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:04:13] Speaker A: And then I'm so very happy.
The Death Riders come out to even the odds. And everybody stares down in the segment. It's weird.
So, like, we're getting Kevin Knight versus Kenny Omega for the title at redemption, which feels kind of weird, I gotta be honest.
[01:04:31] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:04:32] Speaker A: I would have thought Kevin Knight versus Speedball. Yeah.
[01:04:37] Speaker B: That really is kind that. That made more sense to me. You're right.
[01:04:41] Speaker C: I can see it of.
[01:04:43] Speaker B: Of the Canada of it all.
[01:04:45] Speaker A: Yeah. The Montreal.
[01:04:46] Speaker C: The redemption.
[01:04:48] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
In the redemption.
[01:04:51] Speaker A: Unless the redemption is Kevin Knight turns face again, which would then make the entire. This entire exercise. Pointless.
[01:05:01] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Which Tony likes to do.
[01:05:06] Speaker A: Yeah. Be thinking, this heel turn is not working.
[01:05:10] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:05:10] Speaker B: It could be like. Yeah, this isn't as over as I thought it was going to be.
[01:05:15] Speaker C: I can see it. I did like his line. He did a callback to Watch the Throne, Jay Z and Kanye west where he said, what's a God to a non believer? Which I thought was pretty sick.
[01:05:27] Speaker B: That was pretty.
[01:05:28] Speaker A: That was nice. Yeah.
[01:05:29] Speaker B: Hampter, you're the coolest one of us.
That's so cool.
[01:05:34] Speaker A: That's true. No, because you didn't start watching wrestling until a couple years ago.
[01:05:38] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, I've.
Yes. And. Or I'm not the coolest. And yes, that's also true.
I'd be more cool.
[01:05:48] Speaker A: No, no, no, no, no.
Trust me.
[01:05:51] Speaker B: Because I've never once been a listener of Kanye. So like, just, you know, and. And like, he used to be cool. So, like, that's so cool.
You're so cool. I think Jay Z is cool.
[01:06:03] Speaker A: Speaking of cool people.
[01:06:05] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:06:05] Speaker A: Jack Paris here.
[01:06:07] Speaker C: Yeah, he is with his knife.
[01:06:08] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, he is.
[01:06:09] Speaker A: He's talking about the contract. He said he had a good time in chapter one, but this is chapter two, and it's about breaking through.
But he wants to give an opportunity to someone who is in his shoes before and who's hungry and looking to break through.
And so he issues an open challenge for collision. And yes, Nick Wayne will answer.
It's no word on if his mother will be there.
[01:06:37] Speaker C: He's been in AEW since at least 2019, so this is the longest chapter one I have ever read.
[01:06:46] Speaker B: Well, like, literally.
Wait, who since?
Well, yeah. Well, you. Well, because that was his first. I. I think he was talking about his first contract.
[01:06:56] Speaker A: Yeah,
[01:07:00] Speaker B: yeah, yeah.
[01:07:02] Speaker A: They locked him up for a while.
That makes it sound like a prison somehow. There's time for a standby match.
[01:07:10] Speaker C: Oh, God. Yeah. Also known as a squash.
[01:07:13] Speaker B: And yes, that was good squash in
[01:07:14] Speaker A: here as a squash mesh. And it's. It's a tag team match as Brodido takes on Aaron Solo. Nick Camarado, AKA the Factory, reunited at last.
[01:07:28] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
[01:07:30] Speaker A: You don't know the Factory. Of course you don't. You're not as cool as me.
[01:07:34] Speaker C: Not even a little bit.
[01:07:36] Speaker B: Not even a little bit.
[01:07:37] Speaker A: Me either.
[01:07:37] Speaker B: I'm late.
[01:07:39] Speaker A: So there was. There was. This was early. Aw.
When QT Marshall turned heel against Cody Rhodes, he took a bunch of Nightmare Factory trainees of which Aaron Solo and Nick Camerado were members of, and they were Called just the Factory.
[01:07:56] Speaker C: Oh.
[01:07:58] Speaker A: So this is, like.
[01:07:59] Speaker C: This is.
[01:08:00] Speaker A: This is a deep cut for a squash match.
Wow.
[01:08:05] Speaker C: Where they been
[01:08:08] Speaker B: hanging out?
[01:08:08] Speaker A: I don't. Yeah, Nick. I don't. Nick Camerado, I think, has just been, like, indies. And Aaron Solo is on Ring of Honor. A bunch of. So good for them. They're back.
Yeah, Good for them as always.
I mean, I don't think anybody had a factory reunion on their bingo cars for this year. So good job if you did.
All right. Since Brody's here, we get very loud ice chance.
[01:08:35] Speaker B: Yes. Very loud. Yeah.
[01:08:37] Speaker C: Good to hear.
[01:08:37] Speaker B: Good to hear again. Looking at you. Funny Florida crowd.
[01:08:43] Speaker A: Camarado tries to press Slam Bandito, who gets out of it and just laughs at him. And then press slams the. A much bigger guy.
Brody comes in. They tag team on Nick. They do, like, a lot of their big guy throwing little guy stuff. Aaron comes in. He ends badly.
They slam Nick Camerado on Aaron Solo. Double frog splash from Bandito. Just ends it.
[01:09:09] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:09:09] Speaker A: Taz. I don't even know what context Taz was talking about, but he's like. He'd never had fun wrestling, and he's never had fun, period.
[01:09:16] Speaker C: Yeah. Because Excalibur was just like, you know, it's really great to see Brody King and being Dito working together. Like, clearly they trust each other, and they just really seem to have fun together with. In the ring.
[01:09:33] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:09:33] Speaker C: What do you think, Taz?
I never have fun wrestling.
[01:09:38] Speaker B: You get.
[01:09:39] Speaker A: I had fun once. I hated it.
[01:09:41] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah, exactly.
[01:09:46] Speaker A: Think.
[01:09:46] Speaker C: Yeah, I think. I think Taz is just going through it
[01:09:52] Speaker A: for, like, 35 years.
[01:09:55] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:09:58] Speaker C: I mean, sometimes it'd be like that.
[01:10:01] Speaker A: I do. Yeah.
[01:10:02] Speaker B: I can't deny again, that one time against Bam Bam Bigelow, the ring, he went through it. He literally.
[01:10:11] Speaker A: Yeah. Like, I think you just don't. You don't have a good time if you work for Paul Heymon.
No.
[01:10:15] Speaker B: Eventually things go wrong. Yeah.
[01:10:18] Speaker C: Not Paul going face to face with Jerry Lawler on live TV and asking him why his kids don't have his last name.
So messy. Sorry. It was another Raw ECW crossover.
[01:10:37] Speaker B: Yep.
[01:10:38] Speaker C: And because he is in so much
[01:10:41] Speaker A: debt, did he ever ask him about the.
What's it called?
Jerry Lawler being a pedophile on tv? I don't know.
[01:10:50] Speaker B: No, no. But Terry Funk did.
[01:10:53] Speaker A: Yay.
Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry.
[01:10:58] Speaker B: No, Funker actual. Yep. Funker absolutely. Called him out in a promo once, and people are like, oh. Oh. Like, he went. He went deep, and it's like, yeah. No, like, he. Huh.
Will call you. That's why the goat.
[01:11:17] Speaker A: Anyway, so Renee's back in gorilla with Kyle Fletcher, and, like, he's talking about his match that's coming up with Commander and then bro Dido just, like, kind of celebrate past them, and they're like, yeah, yeah. They hand him a wanted poster, and, like, Fletcher's all. All pissy about it.
I'm sorry.
[01:11:36] Speaker B: I think you mean cunty and perfect.
[01:11:40] Speaker A: He's a.
He's a whiny.
[01:11:43] Speaker B: He's my off.
[01:11:45] Speaker A: You can have him. You can have him as disgusting scabby head.
[01:11:51] Speaker B: Shut up.
Beautiful with his little mouth.
[01:11:55] Speaker C: You complimentary.
[01:11:58] Speaker B: Complimentary. I love him.
[01:12:00] Speaker A: I do like his thigh tattoo. I've gotta admit, his thigh tattoo is pretty nice.
[01:12:04] Speaker C: So that's relatively newish. He got that, I think, when his knee was out when his.
[01:12:09] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:12:11] Speaker A: I didn't notice it last week, but he did have it last week. I didn't notice it until this week. I was like, wait, did he just get that he's wrestling with that fresh.
[01:12:20] Speaker C: No, yeah. He was funny.
[01:12:21] Speaker A: Oh, no, no, no.
Yeah.
[01:12:23] Speaker B: He had to have been like, oh, I'm gonna have some time, you know, work.
[01:12:27] Speaker C: Derby also has a new tattoo.
[01:12:29] Speaker A: Who does?
[01:12:30] Speaker C: Darby Allen also has a new tattoo.
[01:12:33] Speaker A: Oh, I hope it says dnr.
[01:12:38] Speaker C: Honestly, I think you'll like it because it's a scorpion or. Oh, no, you won't like it. You will find it.
You will find it thematically appropriate.
[01:12:50] Speaker A: I killed Ella.
[01:12:55] Speaker C: What did you say?
[01:12:56] Speaker A: I said, I hope you got a tattoo that says dnr.
[01:13:00] Speaker C: Oh, the dnr.
[01:13:05] Speaker A: Does that have to be ring belt?
I think we ring bell that. It'll be really funny because we don't know why Ella's laughing.
I really broke her on that one.
Well, he writes it backwards like Al Snow, so when he looks in the mirror, he remembers.
[01:13:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:13:39] Speaker A: I'm so happy.
[01:13:41] Speaker B: No, I can't breathe.
[01:13:43] Speaker A: Oh, my God.
Collect ourselves.
Center ourselves.
[01:13:56] Speaker B: Please continue.
[01:13:59] Speaker A: Okay. All right.
Oh, my God. Aw. International championship. Kyle Fletcher defending against Commander.
[01:14:09] Speaker C: And this is where the beach Bashford. The beach falls in. And I was like, whoa.
[01:14:14] Speaker B: Excalibur bashed at the beach break.
[01:14:17] Speaker A: That's right. Yeah. He calls it bash at the beach break. And they're just like, Tony Shivan is, like, disassociates a second.
[01:14:26] Speaker C: The gif of like.
[01:14:27] Speaker A: Or the montage.
[01:14:30] Speaker C: Yeah. The Stockholm syndrome where there's the. The name.
[01:14:38] Speaker B: Old Hogan and Savage and.
[01:14:40] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[01:14:42] Speaker C: Luger is driving somebody into the sands and.
[01:14:47] Speaker B: Oh, my God. And then Kevin Sullivan.
[01:14:52] Speaker C: Actually, Kevin Sullivan Comes out.
[01:14:58] Speaker A: Oh.
[01:14:59] Speaker B: Oh, God. Can we please not talk about him? I hate him so much.
Yes, sure.
I. I'm sorry. My brain. My brain is you. I gotta reboot.
Like I like, I gotta like hard.
I got a like hard reboot, dude. Like, that's the funniest I've ever heard my whole life.
Oh, no. It's happening again.
[01:15:36] Speaker A: Definitely gonna have to happen.
Wow.
[01:15:41] Speaker C: You've killed.
[01:15:42] Speaker B: Oh my God.
Okay, yeah, no, just please talk about wrestling so I can think about something that's not bad.
[01:15:51] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:15:53] Speaker C: Taz is also just deeply tilted over the interruption by Bandino.
[01:16:00] Speaker A: He is pissed.
[01:16:03] Speaker C: Yeah.
Did a funeral.
[01:16:08] Speaker A: Seriously, like, you think Taz is like sacred as is. Taz is such a homer for every heel and I love it.
[01:16:17] Speaker B: Yeah, he's really going. He's going really hard with it and I, I support all of these decisions.
[01:16:25] Speaker A: So. Yep. Starts fast, commanded with a Cazadora Fletcher. Just bails right away. But then he eats a dive, catches them, catches commander and then kicks him in the face
[01:16:38] Speaker C: so much.
[01:16:40] Speaker A: The people in Boston, they're terrible.
Where is the lie?
[01:16:46] Speaker C: Also hates everybody in Boston, apparently.
[01:16:50] Speaker A: Well, yeah, because he's from New York.
He's a Yankees fan. He would hate him. Actually. No, he's a Mets fan. So you, Taz.
[01:16:57] Speaker C: We hate the Yankees too.
[01:16:58] Speaker A: I hate the Mets. The Yankees are.
[01:17:01] Speaker B: I hate whatever several people from Boston. So like that's, that's, that's that. Yeah. Sorry for the rest of you. I'm sure the rest of you are nice. But there's enough of you I know that are pure evil that you know, I'm gonna be just like. You know what? I don't like you.
Except for everyone that, that chanted kiss.
You're cool, you all.
[01:17:25] Speaker A: Unless you thought you were chanting for the band for some reason.
[01:17:28] Speaker B: Yeah. That's just weird. Why would you.
[01:17:31] Speaker A: I haven't seen Commander in a while. Because he's mostly on Ring of Honor. So he does that. His, his, his rope walk, dive and. Oh my gosh. Cool.
[01:17:42] Speaker C: So cool. So cool.
[01:17:45] Speaker B: They showed him. They showed some video of him doing it at Twins Stadium because they had a full on wrestling card at stadium. It was like 160 bucks and I'm still unemployed or I would have liked brawl at the ballpark or something, I
[01:18:03] Speaker A: think is what it was. Yes, they wrestled the ops.
They didn't mention the ops when they talked about it. And Taz got upset that they didn't mention the ops because I guess they're a bunch of jabronis now. I was like Now. Now they're gibronis, Taz.
[01:18:16] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah.
[01:18:17] Speaker B: They've been gibronis this whole time, huh?
They.
[01:18:21] Speaker A: Yeah. So, like.
Oh, God. What does he do? Like, he. He. They're on the. The. The. There's a ramp for the. The entryway that just connects to the ring. It's one of those kind of deals.
And Commander hits like a. What did he do, like a moonsault or something? He did a dive off the second rope, and it was nuts. He was just flying everywhere. They seem to, like, kind of tweak his knee a little bit. So, like, he gets into the ring slower then Fletcher. And then Fletcher just does this, like, primal shriek thing and just picks him up and throws him with a body slam down.
[01:18:58] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:18:58] Speaker A: Like, it's not looking. Body slap. He's just like.
[01:19:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:19:04] Speaker A: And.
Yeah. I can't scream the way he does in the house probably ever. Even after I move.
[01:19:16] Speaker B: Yeah, no, I know. My mic wouldn't let me. Which is okay.
[01:19:18] Speaker A: My mic wouldn't let me do it either.
Yeah. So then it's just Heat segment.
More talk about ring construction.
I. I like Fletcher's Heat segments on the commercials because, like, he really does know how to just like, lay into a face and then just preen for the cameras and just be like a. Like, look how beautiful.
[01:19:41] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:19:41] Speaker A: And so pretty. Turkish I am.
[01:19:44] Speaker B: He's a pretty pink twunk.
[01:19:46] Speaker A: He knows how to do it.
[01:19:47] Speaker C: He.
[01:19:47] Speaker A: He can.
[01:19:48] Speaker B: He.
[01:19:48] Speaker A: He can do it. And he lets Commander try and get some. Some free shots. And then Commander just, like, eventually, like, kicks him in the stomach and then kicks his face off. And then they just, like, completely go nuts.
Yeah, he gets. He gets Fletcher on the outside. He does, like, the step up leaping hurricane Rana. And then he does another one to the floor.
[01:20:11] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:20:11] Speaker A: And then he does this thing. He gets him in the ring. He jumps up to the top rope. He does, like, a pirouette maneuver.
[01:20:21] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:20:22] Speaker A: That he doesn't need to do. Does it again, does a 450 splash.
[01:20:27] Speaker B: I say, let's. Let's go. And I say, lucha, lucha.
[01:20:31] Speaker A: Let's. Let's go. Let's go. It's like, apparently Fletcher. Somebody's like, Fletcher's bleeding. Okay.
[01:20:37] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:20:37] Speaker A: Commander gets.
[01:20:38] Speaker C: Just got scraped up.
[01:20:40] Speaker A: Commander's gonna go try and do a rope walk. Shooting star press. But he counters it. But Fletcher basically kicks him out from under the ropes. But, like, he.
[01:20:48] Speaker B: He.
[01:20:48] Speaker A: He bounces off on his legs and lands on his feet and then does, like, a tiger fake kick and then just jumps on the ropes and does A super Canadian destroyer from the ropes as crazy.
You can't do that, sir. That's impossible. But you did it.
[01:21:07] Speaker B: Yeah. This is like. No, I'm, I'm. I do, I do, I do.
You can't do that. I do.
I do that.
[01:21:21] Speaker A: Holding on to Commander's foot, kicks him off. He charges in. He gets like just killed with the Michinoku driver.
[01:21:28] Speaker C: Yeah,
[01:21:34] Speaker B: He's got the prettiest one in the business. I mean, just every time. I gotta say, I don't know if
[01:21:39] Speaker A: he has the prettiest, but he's got like the most like nasty looking one. Like. Yeah, he's doing it the old Taka style way.
[01:21:50] Speaker B: Yep, yep.
[01:21:52] Speaker A: So like Lawn Dark gets countered, Escalators gets countered. And then he's caught with a sheer drop brain buster. And that's it. Kyle retains.
I don't think there is any chance anybody thought Commander was gonna win, but that was a hell of a match.
[01:22:07] Speaker C: Yeah, that was a great showing.
[01:22:09] Speaker A: I hope we see more Commander on Dynamite.
So Don tells Kyle to keep going after going after the masked man and he's gonna go after the Mask until Takesha shows up. Which kind of surprised me because I thought he would be in Japan for the G1. Yeah, they were in. They were in the last.
The. The G1 started in the US so like I knew they were there over the weekend, but I guess the, the next round or the next show isn't until this weekend.
So he could just make an appearance.
[01:22:43] Speaker C: Yeah, it was in Chicago actually. The G1 was in Chicago.
[01:22:47] Speaker A: Yep. So they did two nights, I think.
I forget.
[01:22:51] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:22:52] Speaker A: I did not finish watching the first night yet.
Takeshita picks up the title.
Okada shows up and hits him with a rainmaker. And then he and Kyle pick up the belt at the same time. There's like, oh, no. Attention.
[01:23:06] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:23:07] Speaker A: And then I would say, oh, oh no.
Are they going to fight? Yes, they're probably going to fight. So Brodido hit the ring to save Takeshita. And then Brody hits a big dive, chases everybody out. Okay, interesting. Sure, why not?
Renee's with Kenny.
He's facing night at Redemption and he says maybe it's the concussion, but he's excited for there being no shortage of credible champ challengers. And then Darby Allen shows up and says, you can't talk your way out of saving Kevin Knight. He needs to be humbled and needs to be beat up physically. He's like, oh, that sounds like what an abuser might say.
[01:23:47] Speaker B: God, he just keeps saying where I'm like, you, you Ass.
It's like he's made his gimmick being a. A serial killer. Like, but, like.
[01:24:05] Speaker A: But not a real.
[01:24:07] Speaker B: But like, not in a fun way. Like, in like a.
Like, this man should be in jail way. And I'm an abolitionist. Like, yeah, like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:24:16] Speaker A: It's like, I don't believe in prison, but, like, there's some cases and there's
[01:24:20] Speaker B: some cases, and I don't think he should be in society because, like, the. The way.
Like, what I'm saying is the way that he has made his gimmick, the things that he's accused of is. Is a. Something that a serial killer went to.
[01:24:37] Speaker A: You know what I mean?
[01:24:38] Speaker B: You know, like, it's like, it's. It's someone who. Who's getting off on the fact that they've gotten away with it, you know?
Like, I mean, still. I'm still angry. Could you tell? I'm still angry.
I'm sorry.
[01:24:54] Speaker A: I'm sorry.
[01:24:54] Speaker B: I promise I'll move on.
[01:24:56] Speaker A: No, yeah, like, I. I thought of some other parallels to certain other men that have been in the news lately for. Yeah, it's fine. It's fine. It's fine. Don't worry about what those women say. It's like, oh, no, wait, now we can't ignore it. And it's like, I wonder what will be the moment that nobody can ignore it.
I don't actually really want to get into it, but, like, that's.
[01:25:20] Speaker B: That's, like, you know, I better know what you're talking about. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The missing stare. If y' all don't know what a missing stare is, fine. Figure that out and you'll know what we're talking about. It's like, eventually someone's gonna step through that, and there's going to be a lot of looking back at this stuff and going, ooh, y.
Yeah, so that's gonna suck. We have that. We have that coming.
[01:25:44] Speaker A: Yeah. Mox. Mox shows up after Darby leaves, and he's like, hey, you know, you're right. Some people are what they are, and they can't be anything else even if they try.
And Mox is basically going to be. Is basically being like, I'm gonna kill you all. I'm gonna kill you all.
Oh, it's a character. It's a character. When he does it, he's. Yeah, I don't.
[01:26:09] Speaker C: I feel like he's just a really good storyteller. Like.
[01:26:13] Speaker B: Yeah, I've seen photos.
[01:26:15] Speaker C: Yeah. With the. The words that he says, like.
[01:26:18] Speaker B: And, like, I've seen photos of him with his children where he has love in his eyes. You know what I mean? Like, you know, so, like. I know. I know he's possible.
[01:26:26] Speaker A: Mox is basically being like, the. What's the word for it? Greek chorus thing right now.
[01:26:32] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:26:33] Speaker A: He's being like, oh, and William O. You have to do all these things to defeat Kenny Omega. Kenny, you cannot do. Yeah. He's like, yeah, the Muses from Hercules. That Disney movie. It's fun.
Great movie.
Not really.
[01:26:54] Speaker C: I.
I wonder if he believes this about himself, Mox.
[01:27:00] Speaker A: Yeah, he might.
He's definitely enjoying what he's doing.
[01:27:05] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:27:07] Speaker A: All right, so we are out in the crowd, and Renee's here with the Burling Birds.
And does Boston want some woods with the Boids? Yes. Yes, they do.
They don't have a choice because they paid for the ticket and now they're gonna.
For the boys or the voids with the boys.
[01:27:27] Speaker B: Like worms.
[01:27:29] Speaker A: They. They name drop a bar that might mean something to somebody if you know Boston, but I really don't.
They had some loggers.
[01:27:37] Speaker B: Those are cheers.
[01:27:39] Speaker A: No, I don't know. Loggers are nice, though. But I prefer the Yingling.
There's a good joke about yinglings that I will tell later.
[01:27:49] Speaker B: That's a bilsner.
[01:27:51] Speaker A: Yeah. No, it's a lager, anyway. Oh, it is a lager. That's like, if you. If you go to a bar in Philly and you say, give me a lager, they'll give you a Yingling.
[01:28:01] Speaker B: I've never actually had a Yingling, so
[01:28:04] Speaker A: I don't know how you would if you hadn't been out here. Somehow it gets up to New York and I'm confused by it.
Anyway, they're. They're like. They're sad that England lost in the World cup, and. But they say that these Brits with the tits won't let them down and they want to go to Wembley. But anyway, let's go get drunk.
Yeah. It's like, are they treating everybody to booze in the arena? Because I don't know if everybody drinks and not everybody is legal.
From the looks of things,
[01:28:38] Speaker B: I'm starting to get the vibe of. Remember when the. When the APA became like, their whole thing just became that they're just. Just alcoholics.
You know what I mean? And then they did, like, the. The. They did like the. That, like, Battle Royal, and they set up, like, a fake bar scene and they just, like, fought in a bar and Brother Love was there, and it was this one of the saddest Things I've ever seen in my entire life.
[01:29:06] Speaker C: What year is this?
[01:29:08] Speaker A: Oh, 2001. 2000. 2001.
[01:29:11] Speaker B: I think they have. It had to have been later than that. Oh, God, no.
[01:29:17] Speaker A: Apa was. Apa was like late attitude era. There was, like, bits about that gimmick that were fun because, like, they were out there.
[01:29:25] Speaker B: Great.
[01:29:26] Speaker A: Like, I like that they set up like a. A door.
[01:29:29] Speaker B: Like a poker room. Yeah.
[01:29:30] Speaker A: With the door.
[01:29:31] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. As their office.
[01:29:33] Speaker A: That was their office. And they just sat in there playing
[01:29:36] Speaker B: poker and drinking beer and, like drinking and smoking and smoking cigars. Such a good bit.
But like. Yeah. I feel like we're. It's like, what if the Apa had like, just. Just. Just knockers, you know, like just real, real smart and British.
[01:29:55] Speaker A: Violent. Racist.
[01:29:57] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:29:57] Speaker A: One of them racist. I don't know about what Farouk holds in his heart.
[01:30:03] Speaker B: He's probably heard some crazy about Ron Simmons, actually, but that's neither here nor there.
[01:30:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:30:11] Speaker B: I hate holding all this knowledge in my brain. Someone please get rid of it.
[01:30:16] Speaker A: Yeah. I wish alcohol poisoning had killed that and not math for me.
[01:30:23] Speaker C: You could ask Tommaso Champa, or as I like to call him, Taraxyl Choron to give you a lobotomy with his driver is.
[01:30:39] Speaker A: Sorry, His Chris knife.
[01:30:41] Speaker B: His Chris knife.
[01:30:43] Speaker C: His Chris knife
[01:30:46] Speaker A: with the drill is the. The Fremen name I got for him was Chaffa Chofib.
That's it.
[01:30:55] Speaker B: I think I went. I went with Tom. So Al Champim.
[01:31:00] Speaker A: I think that gives him too much gravitas that he doesn't deserve and hasn't earned.
[01:31:07] Speaker B: Point being, someone get that dehydrated still suit now.
[01:31:12] Speaker A: He could never ride shy hallud. I don't think.
[01:31:16] Speaker B: I don't think. He is not.
He is not Lisan al Gaib. Like
[01:31:23] Speaker A: he could probably call him, but he couldn't call one as big as Lisa.
[01:31:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:31:29] Speaker C: But he is. He. He would never be able to.
[01:31:32] Speaker B: No.
[01:31:33] Speaker A: Anyway, Chris Jericho is backlit and he's like, I like getting beaten up. And he wants a rematch at redemption. He turns around and he's like. But this time as the pain maker, which hampter, if you didn't know, Pain maker is his Juggalo sona.
Because he only paints his eyes.
[01:31:55] Speaker C: Yeah.
Face paint. Oh, he's running back Chain maker Jericho.
[01:32:00] Speaker A: God.
[01:32:01] Speaker C: What?
[01:32:02] Speaker B: Like, it's really bad. It's like I saw. All I saw. All I saw was people on Skyline being like, in 2026.
You're. You're. We were. You're giving us pain maker in 2026.
[01:32:18] Speaker A: I knew. I knew he was gonna do it at some point. Point if this is his last run.
[01:32:22] Speaker B: But it's like he's, like, trying to play the hits.
[01:32:27] Speaker C: Yeah. Didn't we talk about this one when he first started running out where he. Because he came out with the clipboard and everything.
Oh, are we going to do the. Is he going to just lose and try new gimmicks and old, Old, new gimmicks and then lose some more and then put up a new gimmick?
[01:32:45] Speaker A: I guess so. But, like, yeah, Pain Paint Maker is just like. He's trying to be like, this is my hardcore Persona.
[01:32:53] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:32:54] Speaker A: It's like you're Chris Jericho.
[01:32:58] Speaker B: Yeah. You're just shut.
[01:32:59] Speaker A: Just, just, just know, like, there's like 2023.
The clip going around is Okada in New Japan being like, what the hell is a pain make?
[01:33:14] Speaker B: Which is.
[01:33:15] Speaker A: Which is correct.
[01:33:16] Speaker B: There's. Right incorrect. It's Jericho and shitty Juggalo Pain.
[01:33:21] Speaker A: Yeah. And he's like, like I said, he's not even committing to the bit.
He's just doing the eyes. He's like.
[01:33:27] Speaker B: And he's like. And he's acting like he thinks he's in Cats.
Yeah. And it's really weird.
[01:33:36] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:33:37] Speaker B: Like, don't do that, dude. Don't, like, don't.
[01:33:41] Speaker C: I hate.
I, I, as a. As someone who is cringe to always embrace cringe, and therefore I was like, man, I cannot. But this is so cringe. And I'm just like, oh, baby.
I don't.
[01:33:58] Speaker A: It's like there's. There's a point where you want to
[01:34:01] Speaker B: be bad at being bad, how you cringe at being cringe.
[01:34:05] Speaker A: Like, there's. There's a degree to which I want to just be like.
Like, his, His. His run so far has not been terrible. I haven't been blown away by it, but it's like, this is fine. This isn't offensive. But like, oh, man. Like, it's gonna be very hard for me to just, like, smile through Pain Maker segments.
[01:34:26] Speaker C: I've legit laughed at at some, like, his, like, laughed at his segments and his little gimmicks. Because, like, of course, I've not seen that, but, like, I've enjoyed it now. I'm just like, I don't know if I can handle the edge.
[01:34:41] Speaker B: Like, yeah, I don't know. I can't.
Don't go where I can't follow, you know? Like, I can't.
[01:34:48] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:34:49] Speaker B: I am not feeling it. Yeah.
[01:34:51] Speaker C: Yeah. Like, he's got really good comedic Timing, I think. And yeah, just. It feels silly to kind of toss that away way. I don't.
[01:35:02] Speaker A: He is Jericho. For all of the problems that people have with him, Jericho is legitimately a legend in wrestling. Like, yeah, he has done unfortunately incredible stuff.
And like at the very least, at least he's not a murderer. And it's not like, you know, it's not like, well, you gotta hand it to him.
Yeah, he might have killed all those people.
[01:35:28] Speaker B: I don't wanna.
[01:35:29] Speaker A: You gotta hand it to him.
But it's like, it's just kind of a. He's a piece of. But like, yeah, he's like, yeah, he's like a wrestling level piece of.
[01:35:38] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, it's like he's probably done some. That ain't great, you know, but the, you know, that's not on us to, to come out with.
But like at the. At the very least just kind of a dick.
[01:35:54] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:35:55] Speaker B: You know what I mean? Like he's just kind of a.
Who thinks his smells like roses. Like that. Like that's.
And like that's enough for me to go like, I'm kind of done with you, dude. Like at this stage. Yeah, but he did do some crazy. But yeah, like he did do. He was the first. I mean he was the first unified like, like undisputed champion in the Fed.
[01:36:19] Speaker A: Yeah, he unified in one night
[01:36:26] Speaker B: in WWF Championship. Yeah, spoilers.
Yeah, spoilers for you. But like, yeah, no, in one night he unified the championships. It was pretty nuts.
So like, yeah, no, like, yeah, he's a legit legend, but like just don't, don't.
[01:36:42] Speaker C: It's always been chasing that high and just doing that and then trying to find.
Follow that up with something else.
[01:36:49] Speaker B: Well, and then he like, he had a great. He had an art. He had pretty great match with Champa.
I'm sorry, Tom. So I'll champion.
And then he had a shitty match with him that, that Erica liked for some reason, which is because what good
[01:37:10] Speaker A: match did he have with him? First of all? Because he's only had one match with him.
[01:37:13] Speaker B: No, he's had two.
They've had two. They've had two dot Pain Maker is. Pain Maker is going to be the third. I'm pretty sure they've had two. I'm almost certain they've had to.
Yeah, you like hated it. You like hate. You're. You're. Because you're like that.
So you probably just like exited it out of your brain because you're like, I don't. I'm not gonna.
[01:37:36] Speaker A: I have an Onion for it. Yeah, that sounds about right.
[01:37:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
This is unnecessary. But yeah, much, much like this third blowout and it's just like, why, why do we. Why. What if we just didn't. But I guess we're gonna.
I don't know. I, I'm not exactly like, I'm not exactly like you. Woo. About redemption right now. You're not gonna lie. Kenny versus Kevin's gonna be a banger because they're both really great.
But like, I just, I just kind of don't give a.
[01:38:12] Speaker A: Nobody, Nobody thinks that Knight's gonna win because.
[01:38:15] Speaker B: No, no, I don't like.
[01:38:17] Speaker A: No, they're being like, all in is Kenny Omega versus Will Ospreay and that's like a money match and you're gonna tell me that like, okay, I'm supposed to actually believe Kevin Knight's gonna win and just up all that. That people spent money on?
[01:38:36] Speaker B: Yeah, no, he. It's not gonna happen. And like, but. And everyone's like, well, what's the point of this? And I was like, well, the point of this is though they're two very good wrestlers are going to give us a great show on a card that, that by design can't mean anything.
[01:38:54] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:38:55] Speaker B: And it's, it's why too many pay per views eventually hurts things. I'm saying it now. I'm just saying it now.
[01:39:06] Speaker A: I am fairly certain that redemption was supposed to be the Kenny vs. MJF title match.
I don't know why they moved it up other than Max actually needs surgery because I know that his knee's been hurt and they were like, oh, he might need to take time off.
And then he did.
[01:39:25] Speaker B: Yep. Yeah, that's so. It's all so weird. But yeah. I don't know. I can't understand it.
[01:39:33] Speaker C: Very quickly. Tommaso Ciampa has only fought Chris Jericho once.
[01:39:41] Speaker A: Told you.
[01:39:42] Speaker C: I, I think the.
I think the match you were talking about was Tommaso Ciampa verse is Darby Allen. Sorry.
[01:39:57] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Which I thought was. Which I thought was good and you thought sucked. Yep.
[01:40:02] Speaker A: I didn't even watch. I don't care to watch it because I don't.
I didn't know there. Yeah, I wasn't. Yeah, I wasn't around to watch that week and I was like, well, I'm not going to go out of my way to watch that piece of. Have a match with a guy that I think is mid.
[01:40:24] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:40:26] Speaker A: Darby Allen versus Brian Cage.
I like, he's a very large man, but he's Brian Cage. He's he's got a spot.
[01:40:36] Speaker B: Hey.
[01:40:37] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[01:40:38] Speaker B: He threw that. He threw that piece of around real good. Like, and there was someone with a trans flag and, and, and, and in the crowd, and Brian Cage, I swear to God, saw that person was like, I'm gonna throw this. This abuser at you and hurt him real good.
And he did that for me.
Like, he aimed for my trans femme sister and just, just tossed that piece of. Into the rail. And it looked like it's, you know, like when someone gets tossed into the, like the garbage guardrail, it doesn't always look like it really hurts that much. It's just kind of like they're falling into it. No, no, no.
Ow.
[01:41:26] Speaker A: We're going along, so I don't want to spend a huge amount of time on this match, but, like, yeah, the, the, the spot that was, like, actually kind of insane was when Cage basically pitches Darby. Not at the, at the ring post, but.
[01:41:41] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:41:42] Speaker A: And Darby's head hits the ring post.
[01:41:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:41:47] Speaker A: And then he was just fine. Like, that looked really gross. And then Darby just, like, laid on the floor for a minute and scratched his head.
I think he was trying to blade somehow.
It looked silly because then he just popped up and was fine.
Whatever.
Darby wins. That's.
[01:42:06] Speaker B: He fell on him. He fell on him really good.
[01:42:09] Speaker A: Yeah, these. These two have had bunches of matches. If you've seen one, you've seen this match.
Darby bounces off Meat Man. Meat man throws Darby around.
[01:42:21] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:42:22] Speaker A: Darby does hope spot coffin drop win.
[01:42:26] Speaker C: Yeah. Four. Four coffin drops. This time.
He. Yeah.
[01:42:31] Speaker B: And so he has one of them in a slight. One of them at a slight angle. And Taz points out he did a little different this time. And I was like, even dazzling is sick of his.
[01:42:43] Speaker C: They do have a. They have a nice spot with the stairs where Brian Cage pulls them out. He throws the. He throws Darby at the stairs, but Darby just goes over it, lands on his feet, and then jumps at him, runs over the stairs of leverage. That was nice, but that was.
[01:43:01] Speaker A: That was a thing. Yep, there was.
Yeah. My. My favorite bit, other than Darby's head hitting the post was Taz talking about taking Brian Cage out for a meal.
[01:43:15] Speaker C: And it caught the yeti taking it alone. Yeah, he just eats.
[01:43:20] Speaker A: He's like, you paid for dinner. That's got to be a first in the world.
And then somebody screamed, you suck, Darby. And then the crowd just booed at. Booed him.
[01:43:32] Speaker B: We'll boo the crowd. Yeah, that's where they lost.
[01:43:34] Speaker A: Yeah, he, like, they hated him for speaking the Truth is. Yeah.
[01:43:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:43:39] Speaker C: Truly true.
[01:43:44] Speaker B: Whoever that guy was. Good on you.
[01:43:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
You're my Jesus.
[01:43:51] Speaker C: Personal.
Jesus.
[01:43:54] Speaker A: Jesus, Jesus,
[01:43:59] Speaker B: Jesus.
[01:44:00] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:44:03] Speaker A: God, we are dorks.
Yeah. So they're doing Kevin Knight versus Darby for the TNT title next week.
Somehow I am surprised that Boston loves an athlete who might be a sexual abuser.
[01:44:19] Speaker B: No way.
[01:44:21] Speaker A: No way.
[01:44:23] Speaker B: No way.
[01:44:24] Speaker A: Okada and Fletcher are back there, and Fletcher's pissed at bandido, so he'll defend against tail against anyone and be the greatest inner champion of all time. Okada's in the back looking all pissy, and Fletcher wants Bandito at redemption. And that's a match that will happen. Yay.
[01:44:40] Speaker C: Yay. There was much rejoicing. Yeah.
[01:44:45] Speaker A: That match will be probably match of the night.
Renee's with night and ask him about. He's got the two matches coming up. He says there's a lot on his plate. He can handle it.
Don Cal says Omega is trying to play mind games.
He's like, oh, you were sad when you won the title. Suck it up, buttercup.
He felt nothing when he won the belt under callous
[01:45:12] Speaker C: championship party. No one was there, and he knew that it wasn't Covid that kept them away. But it probably was.
[01:45:19] Speaker A: Even though. Yeah, it was definitely covered. That kept people.
[01:45:21] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:45:21] Speaker A: Coming to that show.
It was absolutely Covid.
[01:45:27] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:45:28] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:45:29] Speaker B: It was all the dying, dude. Yeah.
[01:45:31] Speaker A: It was all the death.
Yeah. He says if Knight wants to be Jet, two belts, he's got to take care of that punk. And then speedball arrives and says, he says, you know, you're putting on a facade to try and fit in with the Don Cow's family, and it's not working. He should listen to Kenny's advice and the fans. Speedball loves him even though he's everything he's done.
They'll support him. And Kevin looks deeply conflicted. He's like emotions trying to force their way to the surface.
[01:46:05] Speaker C: What do fighting back the feelings what he knows to be true.
[01:46:10] Speaker B: The answer is yeah, smooch them.
[01:46:17] Speaker C: Be made so much better if you just give them a little, little, little peck. Just a little kiss them, then run away.
[01:46:24] Speaker A: Just. Yeah.
Flee, flee. Fly away, Mr. Jet. Fly, fly, fly.
[01:46:29] Speaker C: You can run from your feelings.
[01:46:33] Speaker A: God, I am tired.
All right, main event time.
[01:46:40] Speaker B: God, I'm loopy.
[01:46:42] Speaker A: Mercedes Monet and Divine Dominion versus Willow Nightingale, Maya World and high end. And I love Demine Dominion's entrance.
[01:46:51] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:46:52] Speaker A: About how, like, our dominion extends from the heavens to the underworld. Because that was not actually a thing. I picked up on that. Like, Megan was the angel and what's her name was the. Was the underworld. That's cool. Good job. Well done.
Faces are all wearing similar gear.
Friends in similar tights. Team Fist.
[01:47:18] Speaker B: Willow. Willow leading the gang. Getting all the love in the world.
As she should.
[01:47:23] Speaker C: Yeah. Like they love. I mean everybody loves Willow. But the crowd was cheering for her quite heartily throughout this match.
[01:47:35] Speaker B: Especially considering it's Mercedes Monet's hometown.
[01:47:39] Speaker A: Yeah.
Territory.
[01:47:41] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:47:41] Speaker A: Well, it was well loved.
[01:47:43] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:47:45] Speaker B: I.
[01:47:45] Speaker A: The thing that I was most impressed with was Maya World and High End are. Did not look out of place in the main event.
Like they very much elevated Maya World to get her through the.
The tournament.
And yeah, High End is a great wrestler in her own right.
[01:48:07] Speaker B: Yeah. Like Heinz always been good. So it's like, all right now come, come with me. And that's like you're. She's ready to step up. You know what I mean? Because she's always been that good.
[01:48:17] Speaker A: Literally came into the company as jobbers given contracts because they did the jobs.
[01:48:25] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
[01:48:26] Speaker A: The. The Fed. Those Fed didn't want to do. Yep.
And I get to be in a main event of Dynamite. And they didn't look out of place. They looked right at home in the main event. Well done.
[01:48:40] Speaker B: Oh, no, it's. It's almost like this is how it's been done for like a hundred years of this business or something.
[01:48:46] Speaker A: Oh, no.
This absorbed in this match.
[01:48:50] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:48:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
Again, like, we're running long. I don't want to spend a lot of time on it. I love this match. This was great.
[01:48:56] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:48:57] Speaker A: Everybody looked awesome.
It was.
[01:49:00] Speaker B: Yeah. I don't have much.
I don't have much to say about other than more women. Always.
Always.
Because this was like one of the best main events we've had in a while.
[01:49:13] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:49:15] Speaker B: Yeah. Like more. More of. Of all those faces. Like Jesus. Jesus Christ.
[01:49:21] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:49:22] Speaker A: And like the crowd was into it the whole way through because.
[01:49:26] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[01:49:27] Speaker A: Very invested in Willow. They're invested in Mercedes.
Bane and Cross are incredible.
[01:49:35] Speaker C: Oh, God. Yeah.
[01:49:36] Speaker A: World and Bioworld and High End are up and comers and also extremely good
[01:49:42] Speaker C: like speed in that hind. Runs a great like line of offense on Monet and just like really holds her own.
Just.
Yeah. Kind of speaking to your. Your statement that they didn't look out of place. I was like, this was also.
Excalibur is also tired and makes the high on and hit her brother high off. Is also an excellent wrestler and.
[01:50:10] Speaker A: Oh, that was Taz. That was Taz.
[01:50:12] Speaker C: Yeah.
Yes.
[01:50:16] Speaker B: That's the most I've ever Heard.
[01:50:18] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:50:18] Speaker A: This was the funniest thing because Excalibur turned his mic off, but you could still hear him guffawing.
[01:50:27] Speaker C: Yeah.
Yes.
[01:50:29] Speaker A: Like, Taz. Taz says it.
There's a pause, and then I just feel like I'm up.
And then Mike comes on and he's like, it's getting late, folks. Getting loopy.
[01:50:43] Speaker B: Yeah, A right. We are.
[01:50:46] Speaker A: We are. Yep. So the finish.
Finish was very cool.
It's all kind of just breaking down.
Willow hits a pounce on Megan Bane. They do this spot all the time whenever they wrestle, and.
[01:51:03] Speaker B: And it's always just like, holy.
[01:51:06] Speaker A: Megan Vane does not like the. The character she plays. She does not have to bump for most people, but the people that she does bump for, she's just like, sure, I will look like I've been, you know, hit with Gary's mod physics.
[01:51:27] Speaker B: And you. You do that for Willow's Pounds. Because it's Willow's Pounds. Like, Willow's Pounds is. Yeah, it's like a power move in a video game. Like. Yeah, like, oh, I just got done re. Watching a bunch of Mortal Kombat. So it's like. It's like your combo breaker, you know, like, oh, she hits that. You're. You lose, like, a whole thing of your health bar goes down.
[01:51:48] Speaker A: Yep.
So Willow hits that pounce, but Mercedes dumps out of the ring and she's alone with High End. She spears her, but she only gets a two count. She wants. It looks like she's trying to get a. A tiger suplex that it's blocked. And she gets the money maker instead and ends it.
And so Mercedes and Divine Dominion win. Boo.
I mean, she hit the move well this time.
[01:52:17] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:52:18] Speaker B: Yeah. At least she did that. I'll give her that. But, like, I just.
I like to face them. I like to. I like the good guys here a lot. Yes.
[01:52:27] Speaker A: I mean, like, this.
I. I would say this match is worth checking out. If you haven't seen Dynamite, it's like, oh, yeah. Action.
It's probably the best.
Well, maybe not the best women's match they've had in a while because we had that hardcore match between Shoot it and Stat not too long ago.
[01:52:44] Speaker B: Oh, God. The women have had some pretty good matches.
[01:52:48] Speaker C: Maya and Simonet, just, like, a few weeks.
[01:52:52] Speaker B: The women's. Owen was. Was pretty. Pretty hot.
[01:52:55] Speaker A: Yeah, it was.
Oh, yeah. But, yeah, the casino gauntlet last week was good and.
[01:53:01] Speaker B: Yeah. Awesome. Yeah. Yeah. So you can't even say that, but it was, like.
It was very good. It was my match of the night. I think pretty sure.
[01:53:11] Speaker A: Yeah, it was this. And then Fletcher Commander.
[01:53:15] Speaker B: Yep, yep, yep, yep. For sure. But hell yeah, the.
[01:53:19] Speaker A: If, If I have any criticism of this, it's one that's preemptive because it might come down the line.
But they. It. It seems like Tony might do the thing that he always does where he books all the women's titles into one program.
Oh, so like, they're all like feuding in the same matches over and over again. So, like, you get a lot of women on tv, but you only get one match and one feud, so we'll see.
[01:53:51] Speaker B: I hope not. But also, like, it's just been so.
He. They've backslid so hard in the women's division.
It's really sad because it was really killing it there for a while and yeah, maybe things will change again, but it's sad.
[01:54:12] Speaker A: I know some people don't want to admit it, but it's a thing that's happened.
[01:54:16] Speaker B: No, it's a thing that's happened. It's. It's happened. Like it's backslid. It was. It was better. It. It was better for a while. And this just feels like it's been a while now where I feel like I forget what it is, but it's like, oh, 8:15, here's the women's match, you know, or whatever time. It's like they have this.
[01:54:35] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, 9:30, 9:30. Here's the.
[01:54:38] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, 9:30. Yeah, 9:30. Here you go. It's women's match. Well, 8, 8:30 for I'm central.
[01:54:43] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, that's right. You guys are in the dead zone.
[01:54:47] Speaker B: Oh, shusher face mouth as a force pose to other mouths.
I don't know. I don't know. I. I felt overall okay, it was all right. Dynamite. I enjoyed that couple of the matches, the ones we talked about, but it was all right.
[01:55:05] Speaker A: I liked it. It was a good night. It was a good show. Like, I think, like, it kind of
[01:55:10] Speaker B: feeling non plussed about redemption, but I
[01:55:14] Speaker A: think that's a lot of. A lot of people are like, it's probably going to be a show that'll be. It'll have very good matches, but it' something I'm looking to drop 50 bucks on.
[01:55:23] Speaker B: Oh, I will be sailing the high seas.
Absolutely.
And the.
Yeah, it's.
[01:55:31] Speaker C: I don't know.
[01:55:32] Speaker B: But also at the very same.
Yeah, next Sunday, I think. Yeah, not this Sunday, but next Sunday, I'm pretty sure.
[01:55:40] Speaker A: Oh, wait, actually, I actually am off. I'm not going to watch it, though.
[01:55:43] Speaker B: I don't think I'm still unemployed, so I'll be watching it.
[01:55:48] Speaker A: Yay.
[01:55:51] Speaker B: Yeah. But it's. It's. No, I. I know. I trust Aw and the workers in Aw to surprise us with a show that is much better than we thought it was going to be, because that's what they do basically every time at this point. So, like, cool. That's nice.
Got that to look forward to. That's good.
[01:56:13] Speaker A: You get to watch good batches. That'll be about it.
[01:56:17] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:56:18] Speaker B: Anyone else? Yeah.
[01:56:20] Speaker A: Oh, they. They announced a tag match for next week's Dynamite Trios match. So it'll be Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay and John Moxley versus Brian Cage, Jake Doyle, and Hechycero.
[01:56:32] Speaker B: Oh, he. Sarah's back in the two Billy's two dads are gonna have to play.
[01:56:40] Speaker C: Oh, damn.
[01:56:42] Speaker B: Oh, wow.
[01:56:42] Speaker C: This is joint custody.
[01:56:44] Speaker B: Billy has two dads. Yeah.
Fantastic.
Awesome program.
[01:56:51] Speaker C: And mom and dad and dad are both showing up, so they have to get along.
[01:56:56] Speaker A: Parent teacher conference.
[01:56:58] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:56:59] Speaker A: All right.
[01:57:00] Speaker B: Well, this has gone long. I'm so sleepy. Hampter, do you have anything to add before I rush us out of here?
[01:57:07] Speaker C: No. Not saying never.
[01:57:09] Speaker B: Erica, the length Warrens, Anything?
[01:57:12] Speaker A: Tommy Chompers is the Dover Demon.
The pain maker, because someone get this man.
[01:57:23] Speaker B: Yes. And someone gave him a still suit. He needs it. He's still dehydrated and his belly is descended.
Yeah.

[01:57:56] Speaker C: And at the end, the. The sprinkler head once again, again, shoots out of my. Out of my head and starts screaming.
[01:58:07] Speaker B: Thank you for the reminder. YouTube. Patreon.com WNFF Pod
[01:58:15] Speaker A: going on over there now.
[01:58:17] Speaker B: Yeah, there. There is definitely some going on over there on occasion.
Maybe not this one, because. Jesus Christ. We said screaming.
[01:58:28] Speaker A: I don't know if that can ever take this.
[01:58:32] Speaker B: Yeah. Even behind a paywall. I feel like it's just like he probably shouldn't. That should probably get deleted as soon as possible. Really?
That's for Piper to decide.
Listen to the most important election of our lives. Listen to this show. Listen to everything is wrestling.
This weekend. We are recording a conversation that is, like, the reason I got into podcasting in a lot of ways.
So, like, I've been finding a way to make this happen for a while and almost did for, like, this almost happened for Monday night. Fake fights. And then Trump got elected again and it. And it literally it all up. So we're. We have like an amazing episode of that coming next week, quite quite literally, like the. The. The seed that birthed the whole thing in a lot of ways.
So check that out. And yeah, I mentioned the money.
Yeah, I think that's it. Happy wrestling.
[01:59:40] Speaker A: Happy wrestling.
I am at. Imagine that the sprinkler that comes out of your head does like the. The voice of the mummy scream.
[01:59:47] Speaker C: Yes.
Yeah, there's definitely.
There's. It's not good.
It's not two ways. I mean, that. Nothing is actually.
[02:00:02] Speaker B: Yeah, it's okay. Yeah, we'll. We'll get down.
We'll get down to the lab, we'll work on it. Happy wrestling.
Hold on, hold on, hold on. For my lawyer's sake, can you repeat the question?
[02:00:35] Speaker C: Are you.
My question to you is, are you being discriminated against because you're a sicko?
[02:00:40] Speaker B: Yes, I do believe I am being discriminated against for loving the sport of kings.
Yeah, it's really fucked up.
